학교사회복지사의 가정방문 수행 실태에 관한 탐색적 연구

본 구는 학교사회복지사가 가정방문을 수행하는 실태를 알아보고자 하는 목적을 갖는다. 이를 위해서 2006년 7월 기준으로 1년이상 학교에서 근무한 학교사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며 최종적으로 47명이 연구의 대상에 포함되었다. 연구결과 학교사회복지사들은 1년간 평군 약 11명의 학생에게 약 20명회의 가정방문을 실시하고 이는 전체 업무에서 약 8%를 차지하였으며, 가정방문에 소요되는 시간은 평균 1시간 40분이었고 가정방문에 만나는 대상은 어머니, 학생 본인, 아버지의 순이었고 대부분의 가정방문은 학교사회복지사의 자체적인 판단에 의해서 혼자서 가는 경우였다.

코로나 19 상황에서 취약가정 학생을 위한 학교사회복지 역할

The objective of this study is to establish the basic data for seeking the roles of school social work for helping the students from vulnerable families in the COVID-19 pandemic. For this, this study conducted the quantitative and qualitative research targeting the students of case management who participated in the Education Welfare Priority Support Project of K region. The results of this study are as follows. In the quantitative research, the school social welfare services that were mostly provided to the students from vulnerable families in the COVID-19 pandemic, included the receipt of necessary articles, supplement of lesson contents, and quarantine & healthcare. When the satisfaction with counseling on family & peer relationships was higher, the psychological stability was increased. Moreover, in the qualitative research, in case of the students from vulnerable families, their daily life and developmental tasks were swayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study drew the importance of school social workers’ roles in making up for students’ deficiencies, providing multilateral care, and helping their healthy growth by securing the safe care network through many practices of school social work. Based on such results of this study, the conclusion suggested the measures for the roles of school social work for helping the students from vulnerable families in the COVID-19 situation. 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19 상황에서 취약가정 학생을 돕기 위한 학교사회복지 역할 모색의 기초자료를 마련하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 k지역의 교육복지우선지원사업에 참여한 사례관리 학생을 대상으로 양적, 질적 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 양적연구에서는 코로나 19 상황에서 취약가정 학생이 주로 받은 학교사회복지 서비스로는 필요물품수급, 수업내용 보충, 방역 및 건강관리 등으로 나타났으며, 가족 및 친구관계 상담의 만족도가 높을수록 심리적 안정이 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 더불어 질적연구에서는 코로나 19로 취약가정 학생의 일상과 발달과업이 흔들렸으나 학교사회복지의 여러 실천을 통해 안전한 돌봄망이 확보되었다. 이 과정에서 학생의 부족함은 채워지고 다각적인 돌봄을 받으면서 건강하게 성장하도록 돕는 학교사회복지 역할을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 결론에서는 코로나 19 상황에서 취약가정 학생을 돕기 위한 학교사회복지 역할 방안을 제안하였다.

장애학생의 또래관계 향상을 우한 프로그램의 효과성 연구

청소년들에게 또래관계는 매우 중요한 과업이며 이는 장애학생들에게도 마찬가지이다. 그러나 장애학생들의 또래관계를 지원하기 위한 사회복지적인 접근이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일반 중학교에 재학 중인 2명의 장애학생과 학급 전체의 또래관계가 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 장애학생들이 충분한 또래관게를 형성하고 그들의 학교생활을 지원하기 위한 실천적, 제도적 제언을 했다.

본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 실시한 사회복지 교육의 효과를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 전국 22개 초등학교에 재학 중인 4~6학년 학생 중에서 비동일 통제집단 설계 방법에 의해서 1,203명을 실험집단으로 편의표집 했으며, 학교사회복지사가 이들에게 학급별로 4회기의 프로그램을 실시했다. 또한 같은 학교에 재학 중인 309명의 학생들을 역시 편의표집해서 통제집단으로 구성하고 이들에게는 사회복지 교육을 실시하지 않았다. 이들에게 사회복지 교육 실시 이전과 이후에 설문조사를 실시했으며 수집한 자료를 독립표본 t 검증, 대응표본 t 검증, 분산분석 및 다중회귀분석으로 분석했다. 그 결과, 실험집단에 속한 학생들의 사회복지, 노인 및 장애인에 대한 인식과 자원봉사 동기가 통제집단에 속한 학생들의 결과보다 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 실험집단에 속한 초등학생들의 사후 조사 결과는 사전 조사 결과에 비해서 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지 교육에 참여하는 것이 초등학생들의 사회복지, 노인 및 장애인에 대한 인식과 자원봉사 동기에 미치는 영향을 미치는지 살펴본 결과, 사회복지 교육을 참여하는 것이 모든 내용에 대해서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 초등학생들에게 좀 더 효과적인 사회복지 교육을 실시하기 위한 제언을 했다. This study was performed to find out the effect of social welfare education unto the primary school students. 1,203 students of 4th~6th grade in 22 elementary schools in various provinces were selected by convenient sampling for experimental group and by a nonequivalent control group design, 309 students in the same schools were also chosen for control group by convenient sampling. 4 sessions of social welfare education program were given by school social workers only to the experimental group students in a unit of a classroom. These students were to answer to a package of questionnaire before and after the social welfare education. The answers were analysed by way of independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis. As a result, the understanding of the experimental group for social welfare, elder people, and the disabled, and the motivation for volunteer work were higher than the control group in the statistically significant level. In the experimental group, the test point increased in the statistically significant level after the program performed. Conclusively, participation in the social welfare education turned to be positively effective in all parts of social welfare awareness, understandings of elder people and the disabled, and the motivation for volunteer work. On behalf of these results, some suggestions were presented for more effective social welfare education to the elementary school students.
