At the end of the 20th Century, the Internet along with development of communication technology, is becoming the core of competitiveness in the global business. As the technology has been developed and generalized, the Internet has been extended for use on mobile phones. However, usage of mobile Internet in Korea remains limited on portable phones, only as a data communication tool. Thus, various mobile Internet contents should be offered to enhance the useag of the mobile Internet. According to a prior study, the mobile Internet is mostly used by young people in their late teens and 20s. The purpose of this thesis is to research the mobile Internet usage to analyze the condition of using mobile Internet content for college students and to derive suggestions of the mobile Internet in the future. The result showed, first, the majority of respondents, 78%, said, in regards to price satisfaction, that the mobile Internet is expensive to use. Secondly, the respondents generally think that the quality of service and of connection to the mobile Internet is only average in quality. Thirdly, the respondents are satisfied with the seven content services (communication, personalization, offering information, entertainment, reservation, finance, and education) that are provided for their use on the mobile Internet. The study showed that technology problems, a reasonable price system and various content developments are urgently needed to activate the market of the mobile Internet services. This study will be a very interesting field for establishing and developing content models to activate a mobile Internet in a sphere of study.

This study is prepared to introduce design quality improvement measures by the trend and cause analysis of design changes which have been made during operations of construction project for power plant. In this study, two types of analysis tool have mainly taken for the use of the improvement measures. One tool is the trend analysis to identify which action should be taken to cut down design changes. This is also useful to monitor whether project participant's endeavour for the action taken is effective or not, to the project performance and design quality improvement. The other is the cause analysis, by using cause and effect diagram, which is useful to identify main causes of the design changes and to establish the measures to reduce recurrence of the design changes.

식도암의 임상적 고찰

A Clinical observation was made in 52 cases of patients with esophageal cancer at Chosun University Hospital during about 5years from january 1981 until may 1986. The following results were obtained: 1. The peak age of patients was fifth decade. The average age of patients is 55.7 years old. The sex ratio is 7.6 : 1 with a greater prevalence male. 2. Duration of the disease before admission was relatively long, about 4~6 months is 48% of all case. 3. The most common initial symptoms were swallowing difficulty, weight loss, substernal pain. 4. On the majority of patients, Heavy s.noking was manifested. 5. In blood type, A type was predominent. 6. In location of tumor, 69.2% of total cases were located in mid esophagus. 7. In histopathologic finding, 73% of total cases was squamous cell ca.

화상 환자에서 발생한 외과적 중재술을 요하는 감염성 심내막염 2예

감염성 심내막염은 화상 후에 발생할 수 있는 치명적인 합병증이다. 임상 증상은 일반적으로 없는 경우가 대부분이고 지속되는 발열과 양성 혈액 배양 검사가 유일하다. 감염의 다른 확실한 원인 없이 발열과 양성 혈액 배양 검사가 있을 때는 감염성 심내막염을 강력하게 의심해야 하며 심장 초음파로 진단 가능하다. 감염성 심내막염은 사망률은 높지만 초기에 진단하면 항생제 정주를 지속하는 것으로 치료할 수 있다. 저자들은 화상환자에서 발생한 수술적 처치를 필요로 하는 감염성 심내막염 2예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Infective endocarditis is a rare but fatal complication following burn injury. The clinical presentation is silent, but with persistent fever and positive blood culture. The manipulation of clinical care as well as the burn wound itself and immunosuppression caused by extensive bums puts the burn patients at risk of bacteremia. Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative bacilli are most common pathogens of infective endocarditis following burns. We report herein two cases of infective endocarditis in the burn patients who requires surgical intervention. The first case was caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa with complication of multifocal pneumonia, and the second case by coagulase-negative stapylococcus with cerebral hemorrhage.

공동창조(Co-creation)기반의 공공미술사업을 통한 지역혁신 효과분석:

지역 정체성 생성과 지속가능한 성장을 위해서는 공공이 책임을 가지고 운영하는 문화예술정책이 필수적이다. 최근에는 공공미술사업과 지역재생사업의 결합을 통해 낙후된 지역의 혁신을 시도하는 사업들이 다양하게 실시되고 있다. 실례로 벽화조성 및 조형작품 설치 등을 통한 주거환경개선 사업을 들 수 있다. 벽화와 조형물은 낙후된 지역에 활력을불어넣고 사람들의 이목을 집중시키기 위한 시도로는 효과적이지만 주민의 참여가 한정되고 일회적인 정책의 한계를가진다. 다대포 무지개공단의 홍티아트센터에서는 이러한 공공미술정책의 한계를 극복하기 위해 Co-creation 개념에기반 한 입주예술가 지원 사업을 통해 지역주민들과 공공미술 활동을 지난 3년간 실시해 왔다. 본 연구에서는 홍티아트센터의 입주예술가 지원 사업에 대한 혁신 효과를 분석함으로써 공동가치창출과정과 지역재생의 유효성을 검토하였다. 여행비용법(TCM)에 기반한 지불의사비용 도출 및 비용편익 분석 결과, 2015년과 2016년의 홍티아트센터는 예산대비 약 2.5배의 비용편익률을 나타내었다. 본 연구는 서부산권 지역재생을 위해 현재진행 중인 공공미술정책인 홍티아트센터의 입주예술가 지원 사업에 대한 분석을 통하여 사업의 유효성을 입증함으로써 실무적 기여를 하였다. 또한입주예술가 지원사업을 통한 지역의 공동가치창출과정을 설명함으로써 지역정책분야에 학술적 기여를 하였다. For the creation of regional identity and sustainable growth, culture and arts policies run by public institutions are essential. Recently, there have been diverse attempts to innovate depressed regions by linking public art projects to regional regeneration projects. The main projects are residential environment improvement projects such as painting community murals and installing sculptures in public spaces. Mural paintings and sculptures are effective as an attempt to bring vitality to depressed areas and focus people s attention, but residents’ participation is limited. That is, it is a one-sided policy. In order to overcome the limitations of public art policies, the Hongdae Art Center of Dadaepo Rainbow Complex has been conducting public art activities for the last three years by collaborating with local residents through the artist residency support project based on the concept of co-creation. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of community value creation process and regional regeneration by analyzing the regional innovation effect on the residency project of Hongtae Art Center in Busan. As a result of the travel cost analysis and the cost benefit analysis, the Hongtai Art Center in 2015 and 2016 showed a cost benefit rate of about 2.5 times the budget. This study contributed to practical work by verifying the validity of the public art project through the analysis of the residency project of the Hong-art Center, the public art policy currently in progress for the regeneration of the Western Area of Busan Metropolitan City. It also contributed to academic research in the field of regional policy by demonstrating the process of regional value creation through the residency project.

Framework for Measuring IS Impact at the Firm Level

This paper reviews the theoretical and empirical literature on IS success and provides a framework for measuring IS impact on organizations. With the increasing interest and importance in assessing the value of information systems at the firm level, the paucity of research in this area is a growing concern. Although there is extensive literature on assessing IS success, most of the existing literature deal with surrogate measures such as system utilization and user satisfaction which do not directly assess the value of IS at the firm level. This paper briefly introduces the DeLone and McLean's IS success model along with a discussion of extended research on that model. This research extends the earlier work by providing a framework for assessing IS success at the firm level. This work represents one of the pioneering efforts in developing a "blueprint" for measuring IS impact on organizations, and its implications of findings provide general guidelines for managers to measure the payback of IS investments.

Development of RFID Middleware for Small and Medium Enterprises

The RFID technology enabling traceability of products has influenced to even Small and Medium sized Entrepreneurs. A RFID system consists of such RF equipments as readers. antennas and tags, and middleware. The main functions of middleware are to identify massive tag data and then filter them into the meaningful data for the various applications. Major IT companies including Oracle and IBM have developed RFID middlewares for their commercial purposes. However, those middlewares that can deal with many readers and massive tags at once are not appropriate for the SMEs, because of high costs and unnecessary functions. Thus, in this study we developed the middle that was suitable to the SMEs. To this end, user requirements were identified through the interview and then, system design was conducted. Finally, the middleware developed in this study was tested for its validity.
