Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify relocation stress and relocation needs among intensive care unit patients at an Armed Forces Hospital and to provide data for effective relocation nursing intervention. Methods: The data were collected from 80 patients who transferred from intensive care unit to general ward. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Results: Relocation stress was high in order of physical, health care provider, and emotional factors. Relocation educational needs was high in order of living after discharge, care plan, diet and exercise treatment, medical treatment, and relocation. It was statistically significant according to length of stay in hospital. Conclusion: This study contributes to understanding of Relocation stress of patients. Furthermore, based on the results of the study, Medical staffs will be able to develop effective Relocation teaching materials for patients.

본 연구에서는 생리활성인자[vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) 및 laminin]가 탑재된, 비대칭구조를 가지는 다공성 polycaporlactone(PCL) 기반의 맴브레인을 제조하였으며, 맴브레인에 탑재된 생리활성인자에 의한 근육유래 줄기세포(muscle-derived stem cells, MDSCs)의 평활근세포(smooth muscle cells, SMCs)로의 분화거동을 연구하였다. PCL 기반 맴브레인에 탑재된 VEGF 및 laminin은 맴브레인으로부터 각각 28일과 14일 동안 지속적으로 방출되었다. 각 생리활성인자가 단독 혹은 공동으로 탑재된 PCL 기반 맴브레인에서 MDSCs의 SMCs로의 분화거동을 DNA 정량화, RT-PCR 및 면역염색을 통해 분석하였으며, 두 생리활성인자가 공동으로 탑재된 PCL 기반 맴브레인에서 가장 우수한 평활근으로의 분화거동을 보임을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과로부터, VEGF/laminin이 탑재된, 비대칭구조를 가지는 다공성 PCL 기반의 맴브레인은 평활근 재생을 위한 재생막으로 사용이 가능할 것이라 판단되었다. It is important to control the stem cell differentiation into target cell types for clinical use of the stem cells. In this study, asymmetrically porous polycaprolactone (PCL)/Pluronic F127 membranes immobilized with bioactive molecules [vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and/or laminin] were prepared to investigate the effect of musclederived stem cells (MDSCs) on smooth muscle cell (SMC) differentiation. The VEGF and laminin immobilized on the PCL/F127 membrane surface were released with a sustained manner for 28 and 14 days from the membrane, respectively. The SMC differentiation behavior of MDSCs on the membranes immobilized with single or dual bioactive molecules was compared by DNA quantification, RT-PCR, and immunohistochemical analyses. The dual VEGF/laminin-immobilized membrane group showed higher cell growth and more effective SMC differentiation than the single VEGF- or lamininimmobilized group. From our findings, we suggest that the dual VEGF/laminin-immobilized membrane may be applicable to use as a guided smooth muscle regeneration membrane.
온경탕을 포함한 한방치료로 호전된 섬유근육통 환자의 치험 1례

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effects of Korean medicine treatment, including Onkyung-tang, on fibromyalgia. Methods: The patient was treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and chuna manual therapy for 13 days. To evaluate the improvements, we used a numeric rating scale (NRS), the American College of Rheumatology Preliminary Diagnostic Criteria (ACR), the neck disability index (NDI), and the Oswestry disability index (ODI). Results: After treatment, the scores for the NRS, ACR, NDI, and ODI all decreased compared with baseline. Conclusion: This study suggests that Korean medicine treatment that includes Onkyung-tang can be effective in reducing pain and increasing ability to function in patients with fibromyalgia.

A high efficiency soft switching boost converter is proposed in this paper. The conventional boost converter generates switching losses at turn on and off. Because of those, the whole system efficiency is reduced. The proposed converter utilizes soft switching method using resonant circuit with an auxiliary switch. Therefore, the proposed converter reduces switching losses lower than the hard switching. The proposed soft switching boost converter can be applied to photovoltaic system, power factor correction circuit and etc.
지진 하중을 받는 원통형 플랜트 탱크 구조물의 축방향 허용압축응력 설계기준 비교 연구

건플랜트 내부의 주요 시설물인 원통형 액체저장탱크에 지진 하중이 작용하면 탱크 벽체에 좌굴이 발생하여 큰 손실을 초래할 수 있다. 탱크 구조물 설계시 좌굴에 대한 허용응력을 규정한 국내 기준은 일관성이 부족하고 근거가 미약하여 주로 국외의 API 650, BS EN 1998-4:2006, 뉴질랜드 기준 등을 차용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 형상 비를 갖는 탱크 구조물에 대해 응답스펙트럼해석을 수행하여 유체 동압력을 산정한 후 재료 및 기하비선형을 고려한 비선형 좌굴해석을 수행하여 축방향 허용좌굴응력을 산정하고 국외 기준과의 비교를 통해 적절한 국내 기준을 제안하였다. Stability of cylindrical liquid storage tanks under seismic excitation could prevent catastrophic disaster of human life and economic loss. Domestic provisions on allowable compressive stress in tank walls to prohibit buckling failure are either incomplete or inconsistent, so foreign specifications such as API 650, BS EN 1998-4:2006 or New Zealand Standards are employed in stability design. In this study, response spectrum analyses are performed for plant tanks having different ratios of height to diameter or diameter to thickness to calculate hydrodynamic pressure on tank walls. Then nonlinear buckling analyses are conducted to estimate magnitude of buckling stress. By comparing analysis results with those from foreign design specifications, appropriate domestic design provisions are suggested.

Objective: This study investigated the efficacy of using Nokyonggunbi-tang and other Korean medical treatments for a patient with consumptive disease and chronic fatigue. Methods: A 59-year-old female patient with fatigue, headache, dizziness, and neck pain due to consumptive disease and chronic fatigue was treated with herbal medicine (Nokyonggunbi-tang), together with acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, cupping, and chuna manual therapy, for 22 days. The treatment effects on the pain were evaluated using the scores for the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), European Quality of Life Five Dimensions (EQ-5d) Scale, Neck Disability Index (NDI), and Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Results: Following treatment, the patient showed a decrease in the FSS, NDI, and NRS scores and an improvement in the EQ-5d score. Conclusions: Nokyonggunbi-tang and Korean medical treatment significantly improved fatigue symptoms in a patient with no substrate disease.
양식 넙치에서 분리한 어병세균의 lincomycin에 대한 내성 유전자의 분포

Lincomycin as one of the lincosamides antibiotics have been mainly used in human and livestock fields, but have not been used in aquaculture. In this study, the distribution of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values against lincomycin and the detection of the macrolide-lincosamide-streptogramin (MLS) resistance gene were confirmed in bacterial pathogens isolated from cultured olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Of the 107 strains isolated from Jeju, 36 strains of Gram-positive bacteria and 71 strains of Gram-negative bacteria were identified. Most of Streptococcus spp. was found to have a MIC value of less than or equal to 0.5 ㎍/mL, and Edwardsiella piscicida was found to have a MIC value higher than 1,024 ㎍/mL. V. harveyi and V. alginolyticus mostly showed MIC values of 256 ㎍/mL, but V. scophthalmi displayed values of 8~64 ㎍/mL. In the detection of MLS resistance gene, erm(B) was detected in 9 strains of Streptococcus spp., and erm(A) was confirmed in one strain.
연구논문 : 초등학교 과학 수업에서 교사와 학생 간에 과학 실험 목적 인식의 차이가 발생하는 원인 분석

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 과학 수업 시간에 수행되는 실험 목적에 대한 교사와 학생의 인식에 대한 차이가 발생하는 원인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 6학년 10개 학급의 교사와 학생을 대상으로 반구조화된 심층 면담으로 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 면담의 범주는 크게 실험목적, 실험 목적의 지도 여부, 실험 수업 진행 방법, 평가 방법등 네 가지이다. 교사와 학생간에 실험 목적 인식의 차이가 발생하는 원인은 교사의 관점에서는 실험 목적에 대한 교사의 미지도, 교사가 의도한 실험 목적과 다르게 운영되는 실험 수업, 실험 목적과 유리되는 평가 방법의 문제에 기인한 것으로 나타났다. 실험 수업에서 교사가 의도한 실험 목적이 고려되어 지도되고 있지 않기 때문에 학생들이 실험 목적을 정확하게 인지하지 못하는 것이다. 교사들은 실험 활동을 통한 과학탐구능력의 향상을 중요하게 생각하고 있지만, 이것이 실험 수업을 통해 학생들에게 실질적으로 전달되지 못하고 있어 학생들이 과학탐구능력의 중요성을 인식하고 못하고 있다. 또한 타당한 평가도구나 방법의 부족으로 인하여 교사들은 실험의 중요한 목적인 학생들의 과학탐구능력을 중요한 부분으로 평가하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 탐구적 실험 중심의 과학-교수 학습이 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해서 초등교사들은 학생들에게 실험의 중요한 목적인 과학탐구능력을 강조하여 명시적으로 지도할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to find out the factor that causes the difference on understanding the aim and perception of laboratory activities between teachers and students. For this study, in-depth interview was conducted for sixth grade students and teachers of 10 classes. The questionnaire of the interview can be divided into 3 sections: the aim of laboratory activities, whether teachers present the aim of laboratory activities, the method of laboratory class progress and the evaluation method. The factors that bring about the difference between the teachers and the students on perception of the aim are the absence of proper guidance on the aim of laboratory activities, the laboratory classes that the progress out of teachers` intention and evaluation method that is the performed without any relationship with the aim of the laboratory activities. Because the teacher-intended aim of laboratory activities is not properly presented, students can`t percept the accurate aim. Even though teachers recognize the importance of the improvement of science process skill acquired through laboratory activities, this is not delivered practically in the class and students also can`t percept the importance of science process skill.

This paper presents soft-switching boost converter adding to auxiliary switch and resonant circuit in conventional boost converter. This approach features a two power stage which implements both conventional BLDC motor speed control and input power factor correction. This converter is especially useful in application such as home appliance. Theoretical analysis and simulation results are presented.

In this paper, a soft switching boost converter with H-auxiliary resonant circuit is proposed. Using some resonant components, the circuit can be achieved the soft switching capability. Each of the switches in the proposed circuit perform ZVS at turn off and ZCS at turn on. Thus, the high efficiency characteristic can also be obtained, and then the size of the total system can be reduced. The operational principle of the soft switching boost converter in theoretically analyzed. Simulation results validate the analysis and experimental results demonstrate soft switching boost converter benefits.
