        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherpy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. The Mitomycin C(MMC) adsorbed by the activated charcoal particles(CH) is relatively released when the drug concentration surrounding the carbon particles becomes low in the peritoneum of the peritoneal cavity. For the intraperitoneal chemotherapy on the advanced gastric adenocarcnoma, mitomycin C adsorbed on activated carbon particles was administered in the peritoneal cavity just before abdominal wall closure. The closed drainage tubes were inserted in the peritoneal cavity and clamped for tuo hours after completion of operation. MMC concentrations were serially measured in peritoneal fluid, plasma and urine at 2hour, 48 hour, 72 hour and 168 hour following its administration in order to study the efficacy of the MMC-CH as a drug delivery system. There were minimal toxicities in born marrow, liver, and gastrointestinal system after intraperitoneal MMC-CH administration. The data of this study suggested that MMC-CH may have a somewhat more beneficial effect than surgery alone when administered in optimal dose and schedules, but the MMC concentration of the peritoneal fluid was not sufficient to eradicate remnant cancer cells, and effective duration of maintenance was only below 24 hours in the peritoneal fluid and plasma.

        A common form of relapse in adenocarcinoma of the stomach is intraperitioneal dissemination, in fact, among gastric adenocarcinoma patients who have undergone surgery intended to cure, approximately 50% of the patients develope initial recurrence in the peritoneal cavity regardless of the anatomic site of the primary tumor within the stomach. The efficacy of systemic postoperative chemotherapy to prevent peritoneal recurrence of gastrric adenocarcinoma is not satisfactory. There is still a great need for improved therapeutic strategies on the disseminated microscopic disease and small miliary nodules remaining on the peritoneal surface or lymphatics after operation. The authers have made fluorouracil-polyglycolic acid composite disks(Fu-PGA disks) with fluorouracil and biodegradable polymer: polyglycolic acid for more effective intraperitoneal chemotherapy. We inserted the Fu-PGA disk(s) in the peritoneal cavity of rat and pharmacokinetic study was performed to measure fluorouracil concentration in the peritoneal fluid, plasma, liver, kidney and heart tissue at 24 hour, 72 hour and 168 hour after insertion of Fu-PGA disk(s). Myelosuppressive action of this composite also was determined following its administration. The data of this study suggested that Fu-PGA composite will be a new device releasing drugs in a controlled manner and having targetability to peritoneum, and this device will be improving the efficacy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy for gastric adenocarcinoma.

        Recently, Finite field is applied especially an important role of the moderndigital communication in the cryptography. In this paper, We proposed the inverse finite field algohthm over GF(256) using finite composite fields. An alternative representation of certain types of Galois Field is the composite field representation. Proposed inverse finite field that has the small cell area and similar computation time as serial finite field multiplier. At the results, we confirmed that collect operation and also get the effect that the hardware's size without time delay.

        The effect of xylitol on growth of foodborne pathogens was investigated at various concentration of xylitol comparing with sucrose concentration. As foodborne pathogens E.coli 0157, Salmonella typhimuriutn, Staphylcoccus eureus, and Bacillus cereus were used. As xylitol concentration increased, growth of foodborne pathogens were decreased. At 30% of xylitol growth of Stsphylcoccus sureus, and Bacillus cereus were not found. Growth of four kinds of foodborne pathogens were inhibited less than 20% of xylitol concentration. Xylitol inhibited more than sucrose for growth of foodborne pathogens.

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

      • Hurdle Technology방법에 의한 식품저장

        Hurdle technology에 의한 방법으로 식품을 저장하는 방법이 논의되었다. 이 방법은 다른 처리방법과 함께 사영하거나하여 미생물이 성장하는데 장애가되는 저해 요인들을 유도하여 한 가지 방법이 아니라 여러방법에 의해 가공 처리하는 방법이다. 이 방법은 냉장이나 냉동 없이도 안정하게 유지되며 가벼운 처리 가공방법이 적용되므로 관능면이나 영양가면에서도 매우 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 기초를 둔 대표적인 식품으로는 F-SSP, A-SSP, pH-SSP, Combl-SSP, IMF 그리고 방사선조사 식품에 다른 처리를 한 것등이 있다. 이 기술방법은 주로 육류제품, 유가공제품, 해산물등에 응용되고 있으나 이를 다른 분야에 적용하는 방안을 앞으로 모색하여 나아가야할 것이다. The concept of hurdle technology is reviewed. This technique is the intelligent use of combinations of different preservation factors or technique in order to achieve multitarget, mild but reliable preservation effect. Hurdle-preserved foods are F-SSP, A_wSSP. pH-SSP, combi-SSP,IMF and irradiated foods with other treatments. This technology is mainly applied meat products, fish, and dairy products. Recently qualities of irradiated foods have been improved by combination of irradiation with other treatments such as cryogenic temperature or heating. The future work for application to various foods is discussed.

        자일리톨, 후노란, 제2인산칼슘 및 카제인포스포펩타이드배합껌이 법랑질의 광질재침착에 미치는 영향에 관한 실용실험연구

        The object of this study was to investigate caries preventive effect of chewing gum containing xylitol, funoran, calcium hydrogen phosphate and casein phosphopeptide by examining Vickers' hardness and surface roughness with confocal laser microscope. Early caries-like lesions were created using 0.1 M lactic acid-sodium hydroxide buffer(pH 4.0). 8 pieces of 3am diameter bovine enamel specimen with early caries-like lesions were mounted into the recesses of lingual surface of the acrylic mandibular removable appliance. 13 subjects were the appliance for daytime and chewed control and experimental gums 7 times in a day, for 3 days. In order to evaluate the remineralization effect of chewing gum on specimens, we measured vickers' hardness number after chewing gum, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days after and calculated surface roughness immediately after chewing gum. Vickers' hardness number of experimental chewing gum was significantly higher than control in 2 and 3 days after. Surface roughness of experimental chewing gum was significantly lower than control immediately after chewing gum. These results showed that experimental gum has more effective in remineralization of bovine tooth enamel, and it is more effective at immediately after chewing.

        Recent concerns about information privacy have enhanced the need for data security when storing information in a computer or transmitting it through data communication network. In this paper, we proposed the design DES(Data Encryption Standard) algorithm, which is regarded as a standard of encryption algorithm. We could design it by using of one-time ounging wit the implemental method, S-box sharing method, and the simple-round iterative method, and implement ASIC into simple-round iterative method have the smallest size and alternate to have a general purpose. Each part is designed in accordance with a type of the Top-down design using VHDL(Very high speed IC Hardware Description Language), this is designing technical language which is adopted as the international standard language, and. synthesized.

      • 차분 순회부호를 이용한 비디오 전송의 오류정정

        본 논문에서는 일본 TV방송 및 디지털 비디오의 전송 오류정정에 쓰이는 차분 순회부호(Differential Cyclic Code)의 오류 정정회로를 설계한다. 차분 순회부호는 송신기(Transmitter)와 수신기(Receiver)에서 사용되는데, 송신기의 회로는 11비트의 정보비티에 의해 10비트의 패리티비트를 생성하고, 수신기의 회로는 송신기에서 나온 출력 값 21비트 패킷을 신드롬 계산법과, 과반수 논리(Majority Logic)에 의해 오류를 검출, 정정한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 차분 순회부호 오류정정 회로 설계는 VHDL에 의해 코딩되었고, 시뮬레이션, 설계합성을 통하여 레이아웃을 하였다.
