        지리산국립공원 심원계곡 생태경관 복원공사지역 식생 변화

        본 연구는 지리산국립공원 심원계곡 생태경관 복원공사지역의 모니터링 결과를 분석하여 체계적인 복원관리를 도모할 수 있는 기초자료를 확보하는데 그 목적이 있다. 복원사업이 완료된 2017년도에 식생 모니터링을 위한 조사구 12개소와 대조구 4개소를 설치하였고, 2017년과 2020년의 상대우점치, 종다양도지수, 유사도 등의 변화를 분석하였다. 복원사업 시 수목이 식재되었던 조사구는 종다양도지수가 0∼1.4552로 나타났고, 대조구와의 유사도지수에서는 1개 조사구가 1.32%로 분석된 것을 제외하고 모두 0%로 나타났다. 조사구의 종다양도지수 및 유사도지수가 매우 낮은 것은 복원사업 시 식재된 수목이 고사하거나 멧돼지 피해, 유수에 의한 침식으로 유실되는 등의 영향으로 판단되었다. 반면 복원사업 시 수목이 식재되지 않은 미식재 조사구는 종다양도지수가 0.9538∼2.3222로 나타났고, 유사도지수는 최대 8.33%까지 분석되었다. 국립공원 생태경관 복원공사지역의 복원 공법 개발을 위한 장기 모니터링과, 미식재 조사구의 천이과정을 분석하는 지속적인 연구가 필요하다. This study aims to obtain basic data for systematic restoration by analyzing the monitoring results of the Shimwon Valley Ecological Landscape Restoration Project area in Jirisan National Park. In 2017, when the restoration project was completed, 12 monitoring plots and 4 control plots were installed for vegetation monitoring, and changes in the relative dominance, species diversity index and similarity between 2017 and 2020 were analyzed. The species diversity index of the surveyed areas where trees were planted during the restoration project was 0-1.4552, and the similarity index with the control group was 0% except for one survey area at 1.32%. The very low species diversity index and similarity index in the survey areas were attributed to the loss of trees planted during the restoration project due to death, damage by wild boars, or erosion by running water. On the other hand, the species diversity index was 0.9538-2.3222 in the monitoring plot where no tree was planted, and the similarity index was analyzed to be as high as 8.33%. It is necessary to continue the long-term monitoring for the development of ecological landscape restoration methods in the national park and analysis of the succession in monitoring plots where no trees were planted.

        The effect of neuropeptides on secretion of Interleukin-8(IL-8)

        본 연구는 치수조직, 치은, 치주인대로부터 배양된 조직을 SP (Substance P)로 4시간, SP, CGRP (Calcitonin Gene-related Peptide), Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)로 8시간 자극 후 RNase Protection Assay를 시행하고, IL-8의 분비량을 측정해 다음 결과를 얻었다. 1. IL-8 mRNA는 모든세포에서 발현됐다. 2. IL-8 mRNA 발현은 SP (10^(-5)M)와 SP (10^(-8)M)로 4시간 자극 시 증가되지 않았다. 3. IL-8 mRNA 발현은 SP (10^(-4)M)와 CGRP (10^(-6)M)로 8시간 자극 시 증가되지 않았다. 4. TNF-α (2 ng/㎖) 자극 시, IL-8 mRNA 발현이 증가됐다. 5. 치은 세포를 CGRP (10^(-6)M)로 8시간 자극 시, IL-8 분비량이 증가했다 (p < 0.05). 6. 치주인대 세포를 SP (10^(-4)M)로 8시간 자극 시 IL-8 분비량이 증가했다 (p < 0.05). We investigated the secretion of Interleukin-8 (IL-8) from ginviva and periodontal ligament stimulated with Substance P (SP) and Calcitonin Gene-related Peptide (CGRP). Gingiva (GF), periodontal ligament (PDLF) and pulp (PF) tissues were collected from extracted instact 3rd molars. Cultured cells were stimulated with different concentrations of SP for 4 hrs, and stimulated with SP, CGRP and Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α) for 8 hrs. Then RNase Protection Assay was carried out. ELISA was performed using supernatants of stimulated cells for quantitative analysis of IL-8. Results were assessed using supernatants of stimulated cells for quantitative analysis of IL-8. Results were assessed using student t-test with significance of P < 0.05. According to this study, the results were as follows: 1. IL-8 mRNA was detected in all type of cells studied (PF, GF and PDLF). 2. IL-8 mRNA expression was not increased after stimulating 4 hrs with SP (10^(-5)M) and SP (10^(-8)M) compared with Mock stimulation in all type of cells studied. 3. IL-8 mRNA expression was not increased after stimulating 8 hrs with SP (10^(-4)M) and CGRP (10^(-6)M) compared with Mock stimulation in all type of cells studied. 4. TNF-α (2 ng/㎖) increased the expression of IL-8 mRNA in all kind of cells studied. 5. The secretion of IL-8 from GF was increased 8 hrs after the stimulation with CGRP (10^(-6)M) (p < 0.05). 6. The secretion of IL-8 from PDLF was increased 8 hrs after the stimulation with SP (10^(-4)M) (p < 0.05). Calcitonin Gene-related Peptide (CGRP) increased Interleukin-8 (IL-8) which plays an important role in chemotaxis of neutrophil in Calcitonin Gene-related Peptide (CGRP) gingival tissue, whereas Substance P increased the secretion of IL-8 from periodontal ligament.

        광중합 구치부용 레진에서 광조사 후 이차 가열시 가열시간이 간접인장강도에 미치는 영향

        The visible light-curing posterior composite materials are used extensively due to their esthetic characteristics. Many disadvantages of marginal leakage, wear and poor strength should be overcome through improvement of mechanical properties. It has been proved that most of materials could be improved by additional heat curing after light curing. The objectives of this study was to estimate the effects of additional heat curing on the five different commercial posterior light curing resins, P-50, Herculite XR, Heliomolar, Prisma AP. H, Clearfil Photoposterior. Additional heat(CRC system, Kuraray Co., Japan) of 100℃ was applied for 0, 5, 15 and 25 minutes after light curing with Visilux Ⅱ (3M Co., U.S.A.). The diametral tensile strength was measured by using UTM (Instron 6022, U.S.A.) of cross head speed of 1cm/min after storing in 37℃, 100% humidity for 10minutes and 24 hours. The following conclusions may be drawn from this study. 1) When heat was applied on tested specimens, diametral tensile strength was increased in proportion to period of heat applying in early stage. However, there were differences of diametral tensile strength in each tested materials. 2) The highest diametral tensile strength was shown after 5 and 15 minutes of heat application. 3) When it was compared between 24 hours and 10 minutes group, former showed higher values. Heat application after light curing on VLC posterior composite resins showed increase of diametral tensile strength on this study. Not only the temperature applied but period of heat application seemed affect the strength of this materials. The further investigation of proper temperature and period of heat application for each materials was recommended.

        전기적화상에 의한 구순결손의 재건 -증례보고-

        Electrical burns of the lips are most frequently seen in small children, who are apt to chew on electrical cord or plug, the ends of extension cords in their mouth, saliva creates a short circuit across the terminals within the plug, causing an electrical burn. Tissue destruction with electrical burns is sudden and extensive. Extensive, deep coagulation necrosis is instaneously produced by the extreme temparatures of electrical arc. If the child is well grounded, the circuit flow through his body may cause cardiac arrest. The purpose of this report is to document two cases of electrical lip burn and reconstruction of the lip defect with some local flap techniques. For case 1, Z plasty & V - Y plasty and lengthening of the commissure and in case 2, Abbe flap technique was used and scar was revised later. Z - plasty and V- Y plastry were used for scar release and Abbe flap was designed on lower lip to meet the need of upper lip. For short of right lip width, lengthening of the commissure was done. We are to report the improvement with forementioned operation on the patient of electrical burn upon the lip.

        Nowadays, the agricultural products trade system is changing rapidly because the condition of farming trade system is undergoing a change quickly. Since 1996 trade market was opened completely, so many multinational foreign enterprises are advancing our domestic market. These new trade enterprises are looking for marketing strategy that treat agricultural products strategically. So whole agricultural products system are changing fast. Finally it affects not only trade but also production parts. And then I'll analyze the participation condition of products trade according to the agricultural products marketing changes and its changing prospect. Moreover the countermeasure has to have trademind as a producer of products, and recognize the stability of goods to satisfy the standard of consumer. At last, producer community should develop business positively to raise the power of the marketing negotiation and should have a information about the trade change.

      • 재발된 원발성 고환림프종이 동반된 류마티스 관절염 환자에서 Rituximab으로 치료한 1예

        Several studies have shown that patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA) have a doubled to tripled increased risk for developing lymphomas compared with the general population, Indeed, primary testicular lymphoma accounts for about 1% of all lymphomas. We present a case of RA with primary testicular lymphoma treated with rituximab. A 67-year-o1d man was admitted due to aggravated polyarthralgia and morning stiffness. hIe was diagnosed testicular diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and done orchidectomy last year. There was no adjuvant chemotherapy nor radiotherapy because of patient's loss. Abdominal computed tomography (CT)scan showed about 6x4cm mass on the left adrenal gland. Malignant lymphoma (DLBCL) was proven by CT guided needle biopsy and he was treated with CHOP (cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunorubicine, oncovin, prednisone) and rituximab (375㎎/㎡) combination regimen. After two cycle treatment, the clinical symptoms and laboratory data improved.

        2급 와동 수복시 사용방법에 따른 복합 레진 인레이의 변연누출에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the marginal microleakage of Class Ⅱ composite resin inlay restoration and to compare the marginal leakage of inlay with indirectly placed composite restoration and that of direct filling composite restoration. MO or DO cavity preparations were cut in 60 extracted human permanent molars. The experimental group was restored with Herculite XR inlay, Clearfil inlay, and E.O.S. inlay with dual cement. The control group was directly filled with Herculite XR after being etched and applied with dentin bonding agent. The specimens were thermocycled 1,000 times between 5℃ and 55℃. Microleakage was evaluated by use of the Methylene bule staining technique. The depth of microleakage was measured with stereomicroscope after the teeth were sectioned. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The marginal leakage was reduced in the order of Clearfil inlay, Herculity XR-inlay, E.O.S. inlay, and Herculite XR-direct filling group at the occlusal margin. 2. The marginal leakage was reduced in the order of Clearfil inlay, Herculity XR-inlay, Herculite XR-direct filling group and E.O.S. inlay at the gingival margin. 3. Generally, the marginal leakage was more greatly showed at the gingival margin than at the occlusal margin. 4. The marginal leakage was greatest at the gingival margin of E.O.S. inlay, and was the least at the occlusal margin of Clearfil inlay.

        다발성 비장경색을 동반한 장티프스균(Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi)에 의한 심내막염 1예

        저자들은 3㎜의 우종과 함께 이판의 대동맥판막을 가진 환자에서 다발성 비장경색을 동반한 장티프스균에 의한 감염성 심내막염으로 진단한 환자 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다. Infective endocarditis is a very rare cardiac manifestation of salmonella infection, and splenic infraction is a rare noncardiac complication. We describe a case of Salmonella enterica serpvar Typhi bacteremia which was complicated by infective endocarditis with multiple splenic infractions in a previously healthy 47-year-old female. She didn't have any history of foreign travel. The isolate of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi was susceptible to cephalosporins, aminoglycosides, quinolones but resistant to ampicillin. After 3 weeks of intravenous and oral therapy with ciprofloxacin, follow up transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography showed no vegetation. In addition, follow up abdominal CT showed decreased size of splenic infractions. The patient was treated with 2 weeks of intravenous and 4 weeks of oral ciprofloxacin, and was cured without sequelae or relapse for 6 months follow-up.

        3관능성 BPA-3MA를 기질로한 광중합형 치면열구전색재의 물성 연구

        The BPA-3MA(bisphenol-A trimethacrylate) in which one of two hydroxy group was substituted by methacrylate was synthesized by reaction of Bis-GMA with methacryloyl chloride. To investigate the possibility to apply BPA-3MA as matrix of composite resin or pit and fissure sealant, BPA-3MA(3MA) or Bis-GMA(GMA) as matrix, TEGDMA as diluent, CQ as photosensitizer, EDMAB as photoinitiator and 5㎛ pyrogenic silica as filler were used for making experimental sealants. In addition, these experimental sealants were compared to a commercial Concise L/C White sealant(CLW, 3M Co, U.S.A.) for flexural strength, diametral tensile strength, amount of abrasion, surface hardness, water sorption and solubility, and degree of conversion. The flexural strength of CLW was the highest value but there was not significant difference with 3MA. Diametral tensile strength of all 3 groups were similar(p>0.05) and the amounts of abrasion of 3MA and GMA were less than that of CLW(p<0.05). The surface hardness of 3MA was higher than that of GMA(p<0.05) but similar to that of CLW. The water sorption of 3MA was less than that of GMA and CLW(p<0.05) and the solubilities of 3MA and CLW were than that of GMA(p<0.05). GMA and CLW were relatively polymerized well as compared to 3MA. From these results, pit and fissure sealant using trifunctional BPA-3MA as matrix had superior physical and mechanical properties to existing Bis-GMA sealant. Furthermore, it will be possible to develop composite resin having superior properties to existing composite resin.

        RESEARCH : Estimation of effective population size using single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) data in Jeju horse

        This study was conducted to estimate the effective population size using SNPs data of 240 Jeju horses that had raced at the Jeju racing park. Of the total 61,746 genotyped autosomal SNPs, 17,320 (28.1%) SNPs (missing genotype rate of >10%, minor allele frequency of <0.05 and Hardy?Weinberg equilibrium test P-value of <10?6) were excluded after quality control processes. SNPs on the X and Y chromosomes and genotyped individuals with missing genotype rate over 10% were also excluded, and finally, 44,426 (71.9%) SNPs were selected and used for the analysis. The measures of the LD, square of correlation coefficient (r2) between SNP pairs, were calculated for each allele and the effective population size was determined based on r2 measures. The polymorphism information contents (PIC) and expected heterozygosity (HE) were 0.27 and 0.34, respectively. In LD, the most rapid decline was observed over the first 1 Mb. But r2 decreased more slowly with increasing distance and was constant after 2 Mb of distance and the decline was almost linear with log-transformed distance. The average r2 between adjacent SNP pairs ranged from 0.20 to 0.31 in each chromosome and whole average was 0.26, while the whole average r2 between all SNP pairs was 0.02. We observed an initial pattern of decreasing Ne and estimated values were closer to 41 at 1 ~ 5 generations ago. The effective population size (41 heads) estimated in this study seems to be large considering Jeju horse`s population size (about 2,000 heads), but it should be interpreted with caution because of the technical limitations of the methods and sample size.
