      • 광촉매 산화반응을 이용한 트리클로로에틸렌(TCE) 처리에 관한 연구

        Photocatalyzed degradation of trace level trichloroethylene(TCE) and toluene in air were carried out over near UV illuminated titanium dioxide(anatase) pellet in a flow reactor. This study was investigated the effects of humidity and oxygen. Inlet concentrations for TCE was injected with the ranges of 10~100 ppm. TCE photooxidatino was very rapid under our experimental conditions, and ~100% conversion was achieved for TCE concentration examined up to 70 ppm as a single air contaminant. An important finding was that competitive adsorption between humidity and oxygen has a significant effect on the oxidation rate.

        전유전체 서열 분석과 가시화를 위한 워크벤치 개발과 응용

        An increasing number of genome sequencing projects results in explosive growth of whole genome sequences. Furthermore the number of studies on the functions of individual genes has also been rapidly increased. However on-memory algorithms are not applicable to the analysis of whole genome sequences, since the size of individual whole gene a ranges from several million base pairs to hundreds billion base pairs. In order to effectively manipulate the huge sequence data, it is necessary to use the indexed data structure for external memory. In this paper, we introduce the development and application of the workbench for the analysis and visualization of whole genome sequences using string B-tree that is suitable for the analysis of huge data. This system consists of two main parts, the analysis query part and the visualization part. The query system supports various transactions such as pattern matching, k-occurrence, and k-mer analysis. The visualization system helps biologists to easily understand whole genome structure and specificity by various kinds of visualization such as whole genome sequence viewer, annotation viewer, CGR (Chaos Game Representation) viewer, k-mer viewer, RWP (Random Walk Plot) viewer, and map viewer. We can find the relationships among organisms, support gene prediction in a genome, and study the function of junk DNA using our workbench. In this paper, we apply our workbench to investigating specific sequence such as avoided sequence, common sequence, and classifiable sequence.

      • 과도 절삭에서의 절삭 공정 시뮬레이션

        In most of the existing mechanistic models, the cutting process simulation is often restricted to a single path machining operation under a fixed cutting condition. Complex cutting processes such as die or mold manufacturing, however, are performed under two- or three-dimensional multiple tool paths. Since the tool paths in CNC machining are composed of line and arc segments, transient cuts are frequently occured due to the multiple paths. Even in steady cuts, the width of cut is varied with each segment. In this regard, this paper deals with the development of process simulation system for transient cuts, where continuously changing cutting configuration is computed, and then the cutting forces are predicted.

      • 齒科用 非貴金屬合金의 物理的 性質에 미치는 鑄型溫度의 影響

        齒料用 非貴金屬合金으로 널리 使用되고 있는 니켈 - 크롬系 合金인 Ticonium Premium 100 과 코발트 - 크롬系 合金인 Regalloy를 對象으로 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 및 1,000℃의 鑄型溫度로 變化시켜 遠心鑄造한 後, 硬度 및 引張强度를 測定하고 微細組織과 引張試 片破斷面을 觀察하여 아래의 結果를 얻었다. 니켈 - 크롬系 合金인 Ticonium Premium 100은 鑄型溫度가 上昇할수록 結晶粒이 粗大하게 變化함에 따라 硬度 및 引張强度도 多少 減少를 나타내었다. 코발트 - 크롬系 合金인 Regalloy는 鑄型溫度가 上昇할수록 結晶粒이 粗大하게 變化함에 따라 硬度 및 引張强度의 顯著한 減少를 나타내었다. 코발트 - 크롬系인 Regalloy는 니켈 - 크롬系인 Ticonium Premium 100에 비해 硬度인 引張强度가 높게 나타났다. 引張試片 破斷面은 두 合金 모두에서 鑄型溫度가 上昇할수록 微細氣孔이 破斷面의 中心部에 集中되는 傾向이 增加하였으며 延性破斷에서 脆性破斷으로 轉移되는 樣相을 觀察할 수 있었다. 良質의 鑄造組織을 얻고 鑄造體의 適合性을 向上시키기 위해서는 適切한 材料에 따른 適切한 鑄型溫度의 選擇이 要求된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mold temperature on the change in microstructure and physical properties of Ticonium Premium 100 (Ni-Cr alloy) and Regalloy (Co-Cr alloy). Tensile and hardness specimens were casted from the two types of alloys by centrifugal casting machine in mold temperatures of 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1,000℃. After testing the hardness and the tensile strength of castings, the microstructure and the pattern of fracture were investigated and correlated with the above two mechanical properties. The results were as follows : As the grain size of Ticonium Premium 100 increased with the increase of mold temperature, the hardness and the tensile strength reduced slightly with the increase of grain size. As the grain size of Regalloy increased with the increase of mold temperature, the hardness and the tensile strength reduced remarkably with the increase of grain size. The values of hardness and tensile strength obtained from Ticonium Premium 100 were lower than those from Regalloy.

        한국판 임상가용 아동 및 청소년을 위한 외상후 스트레스장애 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구

        Objectives : This present study was conducted to explore the reliability and the validity of Clinician Administered PTSD Scale for Children and Adolescents Korean version (CAPS-CA) Mcthods : The Subjects were children and adolescents (8-13yrs) from different places: a certain elementary school, three orphanages, a general hospital, and two neuropsychiathc local clinics. Only subjects who experienced a catastrophic traumatic event were tested by CAPS-CA, CDI, RCMAS, and TSC. Rcsults : The range of correlations between item-criterion were .67-.84. The coefficients of internal consistency were .87. and test-retest reliability was .90, were all the coefficients in the proper range. Inter-correlations of CAPS-CA, CDI, RCMAS, and TSC scale showed significant correlation. TSC showed the highest correlation coefficient. CAPS-CA can be a useful clinician-administered diagnostic instrument for children and adolescents PTSD symptoms. Conclusion : The reliability and the validity of CAPS-CA were confirmed. CAPS-CA could be applied for diagnostic purposes of PTSD in children and adolescents.

        한국판 사건충격척도 수정판의 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구

        Objectives : The present study was conducted to explore the reliability and validity of the "Impact of Event Scale-RevisedKorean version" (IES-R-K). Methods : The subjects were college students who visited a college counseling center and patients who were admitted to a general hospital and two orthopedic local clinics.Those subjects who experienced catastrophic traumatic events were tested for CAPS, BDI, STAI-I, II, and MMPI-PTSD scale. Results : The range of correlations between item-total were .45 -.89. The coefficients of internal consistency were .69 -.83, of them were the Split-half reliability was .71 and the test-retest reliability was .89, all within expected ranges. Inter-corre-lations of IES-R-K, CAPS, BDI, STAI-I, II, and MMPI-PTSD scale were high. CAPS showed the highest correlation Coef-ficient. Factor analysis indicated 4 factors in IES-R ; avoidance, hyperarousal, intrusion, and sleep problem & numbness. IES-R-K can be a useful self-rating diagnostic instrument for PTSD symptoms to be a clinical concern by using 24/25 cutoff in total score. The partial PTSD cutoff score is 17/18. Conclusion : The IES-R-K was confirmed in it's reliability and validity. IES-R-K could be applied for screening of PTSD.

        급성 충수돌기염 의증 환자의 진단에서 컴퓨터 단층촬영과 초음파검사의 비교 분석

        Background: This study was conducted to compare the accuracy of computered tomography(CT) and sonography(US) in diagnosing acute appendicitis and to analyze the radiologic factors which influence the result. Methods: We retrospectively studied the cases of 53 patients who were suspected of having appendicitis and who were examined by CT and US covered a three-year period. The final diagnosis was determined from the surgico-pathologic diagnosis and clinical follow-up for two months, as well as from the discharge diagnosis. Results: Thirty-eight(38) patients had acute appendicitis; 15 patients did not. In the analysis, CT and US, respectively, revealed sensitivities of 89.5% and 73.7%, specificities of 93.3% and 60.0%, positive predictive values of 97.1% and 82.4%, negative predictive values of 77.8% and 47.4%. Among patients diagnosed with acute appendicitis, 10 patients were discordant in the US and the CT examinations; CT findings were correct in 8 and US findings in 2. Among non-appendicitis patients, 5 patients were discordant in the US and the CT examinations; CT was correct in 5 and US in 0. Nighteen(19) patients had complications such as an abscess or a perforation. Among these patients, the degree and the extent of the complication were accurately evaluated by CT in 15 patients and by US in 5 patients. Conclusion: CT is more accurate than US in diagnosing and excluding acute appendicitis. The use of CT will substantially decrease unnecessary laparotomies and post-operation complications.

        In this study, a fiber-optic bundle sensor has been developed using water-equivalent organic scintillating fibers for photon beam measurement. Beam penumbra and percent depth doses(PDD) are measured according to the depth of the photon beam. This sensor has many advantages such as high resolution, real-time measurement and ease of calibration over conventional radiation measurement devices.
