      • A survey of knowledge and behavior regarding skin cancer.

        Background: The recognition of prevention and early detection of skin cancer has been increased more than before. Although skin cancer is not rare, most patients are little known about general awareness of skin cancer. Objectives: In this study, we survey the awareness and knowledge of skin cancer and sun protection behavior among South-Gyeongnam province. Methods: We reviewed a written questionnaire and patients’ self-checked records including patients’ basic medical information and knowledge of skin cancer protective modalities. Results: In total 284 subjects (94.7%(284/300), 67%(190/284) females, mean age 57.4 years) completed the survey. Most people (77.5%, 220/284) knew that the sun was most dangerous for their skin but relatively large portion of them (42.7%, 94/220) had no action to protective attitude like sun screen, large hat and gloves. Conclusion: The results show that many participants had known necessity of skin cancer prevention and importance of early detection, but didn’t have had any protective action. Therefore, a more effective skin cancer education and prevention program is needed. We suggest that the measurement of effects of a multimodal educational intervention on knowledge of sun protection practices and engagement in self sun-protection behaviors also need to be check.

      • 커패시터 공진전압을 이용한 하프 브릿지 고주파 인버터의 특성해석에 관한 연구

        This paper presents operating characteristics of the main conversion considering half-bridge high frequency resonant inverter using capacitor Resonant voltage to the object of research. The analysis of the proposed circuit describes generally by using normalized parameter, and basic operating principle and driving characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and load parameter. Several features are considered, this paper suggests some fundamental data for designing the main power conversion circuit. To prove rightfulness for characteristics analysis of proposed inverter, it is confirmed that this paper are nearly, equal to circuit analysis by comparison theoretical and experimental waveforms results of proposal inverter using Power-MOSFET of switching devices. In the future, design technique proposed in this paper can be applied to several areas such as induction heating, power supply of DC-DC converter, UPS etc.

        인공 석회화 기질의 개발 및 파골세포에 의한 기질흡수에 관한 연구

        To develop artificial matrix resorbable by osteoclasts can be used as a model system that biological function of osteoclasts would be assayed in vitro in a standardized condition instead of using heterogenous bone or dentin slices. The present study developed artificial substrates consisted of apatite crystals. collagen gen. agar, apatite crystals under collagen film, mixture of apatite crystals and collagen, and mixture of agar and apatite crystals. And osteoclastic attachement and resorption activity on the each substrate was assayed in vitro. Osteoclasts attached to apatite crystals, collagen, mixture of apatite crystals and collagen, and mixture of apatite crystals and agar, however, not to agar. This suggested that apatite crystals and collagen should be exposed on the surface of artificial substrate where osteoclasts can attach. Osteoclasts attached to the substrate resorbed the substrate consisted of apatite crystals, mixture of apatite crysals and collagen, and apatite crystals under thin film of collagen, however, not of collagen, mixture of apatite crystals and agar. This suggested that the first phase of osteoclasts in resorbing matrix is to secrete acid and the end result of this phase, whatever it may be, may activate secretion of hydrolytic enzymes specific to organic components.

        Modern cities are placed on the point to change gradually from the era of green paradigm to the era of culture paradigm, which riches the dally life of cities. Infrastructure is not only the legacy of the industrialization but preserves and delivers the memory of the city so that it can create a new type of cultural space which adheres to the construction of the city spaces. In this research, changes of the construction of the city spaces which changes through the importance of the post-industrial site's importance would be seized and the potential of cultural use in Seoul thermal power station will be deducted. Moreover, it will be a basic data for similar cases.

        ISP의 BcN 투자 및 요금체계 평가모형 : 실물옵션과 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션의 응용

        모든 정보통신서비스가 All-IP 통합 인프라로 제공되는 BcN 구축은 우리나라의 핵심 국책사업 중의 하나로, 인터넷 강국으로서의 글로벌 입지를 굳히는데 결정적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 BcN 기술의 성숙에도 불구하고, 제도적 측면에서 이의 성공을 뒷받침하는 연구는 드물다. 특히 BcN 요금체계와 같은 정책적 문제에 대해서는 별다른 진전이 없다. 본 연구에서는 요금정책이 BcN 투자에 미치는 영향을, 실물옵션과 Monte Carlo 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 분석하였다. 실험결과, BcN 수요의 불확실성뿐만 아니라, 요금체계와 관련된 정책대안이 사업자의 수익구조와 투자동기에 중요하게 작용하였다. 또한 수익과 투자시점은 밀접한 관계를 가지며, 트래픽 규모가 수입에 직접 반영되는 요금체계에서 BcN 투자가 앞당겨짐을 알수 있다. 특히 ISP와 CP간의 요금체계가 투자 의사결정에 보다 크게 작용하는 것으로 파악된다. 이러한 결과는, 사업자의 자발적인 첨단 인프라 및 서비스 개발이 국민경제에 긍정적으로 작용하는 동태적 효과를 보다 전향적으로 검토할 것을 요청한다.

        Thermodynamic Calculations and Parameter Variations for Improving the Extraction Efficiency of Dy in Ternary Alloy System

        The extraction behavior of dysprosium (Dy) in a rapidly solidified Dy–Fe–B alloy system consisting of Dy2Fe14Band Dy6Fe23phases was investigated using the liquid metal extraction (LME) process. Liquid magnesium (Mg) was selected as the solventmetal in LME because it forms intermetallic compounds with Dy but not with iron (Fe) and boron (B) in this process. Thediffusion behavior of Dy was estimated through thermodynamic calculations and subsequently confirmed by process parameterssuch as temperature and reaction time. As the temperature increases, the extraction rate increases and the maximumextraction efficiency is about 74% Dy for 1 h at 1000 °C. As the reaction time increases, we achieved the maximum extractionefficiency of 95% Dy after 24 h at 900 °C. The factor affecting Dy extraction ratio up to 6 h is Dy6Fe23phase, after which theextraction mainly occurs in Dy2Fe14Bphase. Furthermore, the diffusion behavior is described in detail with analysis basedon microstructural and compositional properties. The effects of process parameters on extraction rate are also discussed.

      • 製造企業의 經營環境에 관한 硏究 : 김해지역을 중심으로

        At the threshold of localization era, there is a great need to determine local economic development agenda. But current paucity of data regarding local firms' operations can be a hindering factor to achieve above objective. This study aims to provide such a data which can be used for setting local economic policy of Kimhae area. The study was conducted by administering survey questionnaires. The sample is 34 small sized manufacturers with less than 300 employees in Kimhae area. The content of survey includes General Management, Personnel and Labor Relations, Marketing, Production, Finance, Accounting and MIS. The results of survey revealed that current managerial practices in general showed sizable gap with desired one, which is mandated by national goal of reinforcement of competitiveness of small and medium sized firms.

        유비쿼터스 서비스의 단계적 진화 모델

        본 논문에서는 u-Korea를 구축하기 위한 유비쿼터스 서비스의 단계별 진화 모델을 개발하고자 한다. u-Korea 서비스의 단계별 모델을 개발하기 위하여 우선 유비쿼터스 소요 기술을 분류하고, 이것은 네트워크, 미들웨어, 단말 및 응용으로 구성된 4 계층 유비쿼터스 기술구조로 구분될 수 있다. 그리고 각 기술의 발전 방향 등을 토대로 각 계층에 대한 로드맵을 작성하고, 소요 기술의 개발 수준과 구성 요소를 기반으로 유비쿼터스 서비스를 위한 진화 모델을 제안한다. 각 서비스의 지능화 수준과 서비스 기술 로드맵에 따라 첫번째 P-to-M 커뮤니케이션, 두번째 상황인지, 세번째 자율반응 단계로 나누고 각 단계별 유비쿼터스 서비스를 위한 진화 모델을 제시한다. 그리고 작성된 진화 방법과 기존 보건∙복지 정책 및 시스템을 고려하여 점진적인 보건∙복지 유비쿼터스 모형을 제안하고, 국내외 유비쿼터스 서비스 사례를 분석하여 제시된 모형을 적용하여 본다.

        The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion.
