21세기 지식정보화 사회는 전통적인 학교교육의 변혁을 요구한다. 이에 학교교육 개혁을 성공적으로 이끌어 나아갈 수 있는 교원의 리더십 특히 학교행정가의 리더십이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 그렇다면 지식정보화 사회에서 요구되는 학교행정가의 리더십이란 무엇이며 어떤 역량을 포함하는가? 본 연구는 학교행정가의 리더십과 핵심역량에 대한 선행연구가 학교 현장과는 유리된 채 이론적, 당위적 수준에 그치고 있다는 문제의식에서 출발하여 학교행정가의 리더십을 구성하는 핵심역량이 무엇인가에 대한 교사, 교감, 교장, 행정실장 및 서무부장의 인식을 파악하고 이들 집단의 인식을 비교 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 우선 문헌연구를 통해 리더십에 대한 관점과 개념의 변화를 고찰하였고 변혁적 리더십 관점에 기초하여 학교행정가가 갖추어야 할 핵심역량으로 교육적 리더십, 학교 계획 및 조직, 학교교육과정 편성 및 운영, 학교운영, 인적자원 개발, 학교재정 관리, 교육법 이해 및 집행, 학교교육정책 이해, 학교·학부모 및 지역사회 협력, 정보통신기술 활용과 같은 열 가지 역량을 도출하였다. 문헌연구를 통해 도출된 핵심역량에 대한 학교 현장의 관점을 알아보기 위해 초·중·고등학교 교직원을 대상으로 10대 핵심역량의 중요도와 현재 실행정도에 대해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문조사에는 144개 학교의 교직원 1,136명이 참여하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perspectives of teachers, vice-principals, and school staff on school administrators' leadership and core abilities. For this purpose, first, we examined the perspectives and concepts of school administrator's leadership and identified 10 core abilities that constitute the school administrator's leadership. Second, we developed a questionnaire to investigate the perspectives of teachers, vice-principals, and school staff on to what extent the 10 core abilities are important and whether their school administrators actually exert these 10 core abilities. Finally, we conducted a survey research, including teachers, vice-principals, and school staff with various years of experiences in elementary and secondary schools in Korea. The findings show that teachers, vice-principals, principals, and school staff consider the 10 core abilities very important for school administrators. However, they perceive that school administrators, in reality, do not exert the 10 core abilities as much as they think these abilities are important. In particular, teachers rated school administrators' leadership relatively low compared to principals, vice-principals, and school staff. The difference between their perception on the importance and exertion of 10 core abilities indicates the need for programs that promote the development of 10 core abilities for school administrators and consequently support the development of school administrator's leadership.

폴리에스테르 섬유 감량시스템의 제어를 위해서는 처리조 내에서 감량되는 섬유가 목표 감량치에 도달했는지를 판단해 주는 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 가성소다용액의 초농도 및 섬유 감량 정도의 정확한 측정과 감량 종료시간의 산출 및 이에 따른 종료신호를 발생할 수 있는 폴리에스테르 섬유 감량기 전용의 자동적정장치를 개발하였다. To control caustic soda treatment system for the polyester fabric reduction, we need the device to determine that the fabric has been arrived target reduction value. In this study, we develope an automatic process titrator for the caustic soda treatment system. Major functions of the target titrating system are accurate measurements of the caustic soda concentration and then producing the end point signal for caustic soda treatment system.
pH-Sensitive Modification of Chitosan as a Gene Carrier

The success of gene therapy is to find out the effective gene carriers. Recently, non-viral vectors have been receiving increased attention because of their biosafety, high flexibility of size of the delivered gene and simple production. Among non-viral vectors, chitosan and chitosan derivatives as gene carriers have been tried owing to several advantages such as biocompatibility, biodegradability and low cytotoxicity. On the other hand, the low transfection efficiency of chitosan as a gene carrier needs to be overcome for application to clinical trials. The objective of this review is to discuss pH-sensitive modification of chitosan to improve transfection efficiency.
Glucosylated Polypropylenimine Dendrimer as a Novel Gene Carrier

<P>Polypropylenimine (PPI) dendrimers have been used by many researchers as gene delivery carriers due to their high functionality. Glucose as a kind of carbohydrate is biocompatible and hydrophilic. In this study, we synthesized glucosylated PPI (G-PPI) dendrimers to reduce cytotoxicity. Glucose substitution of G-PPI dendrimers was determined by the sulfuric acid micromethod. The G-PPI dendrimer was complexed with plasmid DNA in various N/P ratios, and the complex was characterized. G-PPI dendrimers showed good DNA binding ability and high protection of DNA from nuclease attack. The G-PPI dendrimer had low cytotoxicity compared to PPI dendrimer by cytotoxicity assay. Also, transfection efficiency was influenced by glucosylation degree and the transfection efficiency for the G-PPI-5 was slightly higher than that of PPI dendrimer in HeLa cell line.</P>

<P><B>Background</B></P><P>Chitosan and chitosan derivatives have been proposed as alternative and biocompatible cationic polymers for nonviral gene delivery. However, the low transfection efficiency and low specificity of chitosan is an aspect of this approach that must be addressed prior to any clinical application. In the present study, folated poly(ethylene glycol)-chitosan-graft-polyethylenimine (FPCP) was investigated as a potential folate receptor-overexpressed cancer cell targeting gene carrier.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>The FPCP copolymer was synthesized in two steps. In the first step, folate-PEG was synthesized by an amide formation reaction between the activated carboxyl groups of folic acid and the amine groups of bifunctional poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). In the second step, FPCP was synthesized by an amide formation reaction between the activated carboxyl groups of folate-PEG and amine groups of CHI-g-polyethyleneimine (PEI). The composition of FPCP was characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>FPCP showed low cytotoxicity in various cell lines, and FPCP-DNA complexes showed good cancer cell specificity as well as good transfection efficiency in the presence of serum. Further, FPCP-<I>Pdcd4</I> complexes reduced tumor numbers and progression more effectively than PEI 25 kDa in H-<I>ras</I>12V liver cancer mice after intravenous administration.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>Our data suggest that FPCP, which has improved transfection efficiency and cancer cell specificity, may be useful in gene therapy for liver cancer.</P>
Hybrid of baculovirus and galactosylated PEI for efficient gene carrier

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Baculovirus, containing an appropriate eukaryotic promoter, is considered an attractive approach for an efficient and safe gene delivery vehicle. However, the drawbacks of baculovirus, such as the lack of specificity and the inactivation of baculovirus by the complement system in human serum, negatively affect efficient gene delivery. Therefore, a hybrid system utilizing the positive aspects of both viral and non-viral vector systems would be useful to overcome the obstacles of either system alone. In this study, we constructed a hybrid system composed of baculovirus (B) and galactosylated polyethylenimine (GP)/DNA complexes through electrostatic interaction. The resulting GP/B hybrid had suitable physicochemical properties and low cytotoxicity for use in gene therapy. Furthermore, the GP/B significantly enhanced transduction efficiency and showed good cell-specificity compared to either viral or non-viral vector systems. These results suggest that the GP/B hybrid system can be used in gene therapy to enhance transduction efficiency and hepatocyte specificity.</P>
