      • Vinyl腐蝕法에 依한 在來山羊 脾柱靜脈의 區域的 走行에 關한 硏究

        The studies were conducted to observe the segmental running of splenic trabecular veins, employing the vinylite corrosion technique in sixty adult Korean goats, and the following results were obteined: 1. The splenic trabecular veins of the goat were collected into 5 chief Rami of the splenic veins(called Rr. superior, media et inferior, Vv. polares superior et inferior), and the splenic parenchyma was divided into 3-8 intralienal venous segments by the course of trabecular veins. 2. Each intralienal venous segment was divided into 2-4 minute segments, therefore 7-22 minute segments were observed in the spleen. 3. The anastomoses were found between segments or minute segments. 4. The splenic arterial and venous system of the Korean goat took a individual course in the splenic parenchyma respectively.

      • 골분을 이용한 구리 흡착 첨착

        Spent pig bone was consist of hydroxyapatite. And then we thought that it have a possibility as a adsorbent. The preparation of bone char prepared from spent pig bone in this study. We study on the recycling possibility as a adsorbent is able to adsorb copper ion from their single aqueous solutions. The results are summarized as follows. Bone char that prepared from spent pig bone at 105, 400, 700℃. The adsorption removal efficiency of copper ion onto bone char as adsorbent was above 90% for 15 hours. Increase in the initial pH of the copper ion solution result in an increase in the copper ion uptake per unit weight of the adsorbent. Freundlich isotherm model was found to be applicable for the experiment data of copper ion. The results showed that spent pig bone can be used for the absorption of the copper ion.

      • 폐결핵치료 중인 환자에서 Rifampicin에 의해 유발된 위막성 대장염 2예

        Pseudomembranous colitis (PMC) is a disease caused by Clostridium difficile proliferation. The causative drugs are clindamycin, third-generation cephalosporins, flouroquinolone and so on. Rifampicin has been reported as a cause of PMC in the 1980s, and the frequency of PMC is increasing because rifampicin is a first line drug for anti-tuberculosis therapy. Two patients were recently admitted to our hospital due to watery diarrhea for 1 month and they were diagnosed with PMC by sigmoidoscopy. Their onset age were 74, 72 years old and latent period of symptoms were 60, 129 days, respectively. In one case, the patient displayed coexisting hypertension and diabetes. The clinical symptoms improved after discontinuing the rifampicin and then administering oral metronidazole. We report here on two cases presumed to be rifampicin-induced PMC.

        This study was carried out to remove copper ion in case of activated carbon impregnated sulphur(ACS) dose and different pH using activated carbon impregnated sulphur that prepared from activated carbon at sulphur dioxide atmosphere. Removal copper ion concentration was increased as increasing the ACS dose when copper ion concentration was 10 mg/L. Optimum dose of ACS 13.3 g ACS/L and maximum removal efficiency was 93%. The results obtained from adsorption experiment in the condition of ACS optimum dose when the pH was 3, 4, 5 respectively was pH 5 was excellent.

        국소침 윤마취시 Epinephrine 효과에 대한 관찰

        The local anesthetics play a central and frundamental role, for they comprise, probably, the single most widely used group of durgs in the field of plastic surgery. Also many plastic surgical procedures require the use of a vasoconstrictor to reduce operative bleeding under both general and local anesthesia. Among local anesthetics, lidocaine, introduced by Lofgren in 1948, is one of most widely used local anesthetics and most frequently used for infiltration anesthesia with 0.5% to 1 0%solution. Also eqinephrine is one of the most potent and most useful vasoconstrictors for admixture with thesolution of local anesthetics for infiltration of tissue. In the clinical practice, it has been said that the concentration of lidocaine and epinephrine should be kept at the minimal level of effectiveness because of the epinephrine performs a dual service when is combined with lidocaine. In order to clarify the minimum concentration of the lidocaine and epinephrine respectively necessary for adequate duration of anesthesia, with less irritation of local tissue and less bleeding, the clinical observation and animal experiment were undertaken, and the following results were summarized. The most effective skin blanching by epinephrine was obtained with epinephrine concentration of 1 : 50,000 although some effect was still presented with epinephrine concentration of 1 : 800,000. The onset of maximum skin blanching following the local infiltration of lidocaine with epinephrine(1 : 50,000 to 1 : 400,000) was within 5 minutes and was lasting 20 to 40 minutes. When the skin incision was made 5 minutes to 15 minutes following local infiltration of epinephrine, the amount of bleeding was markedly decreased and no significant difference in the time of hemostasis was noticed(p〉0.1). Also no significant difference in the time of hemostasis was noticed in the different concentration (1 : 100,000 and 1 : 200,000) of epinephrine(p〉0.1). The optimum concentration of epinephrine is between 1 : 200,00 to 1 : 400,000 solution and the optimum concentration of lidocaine is 0.5%.

        This study is to take a general look at "tention"for which the types of attention behavior and the relevant theories has been studied to lay out a scheme for attention development. In fact, the theories on attention behavior have not only been well organized in the field of sports, but it also lacked empirical studies, which means the theory itself has been revised by trials and errors in the actual competition field rather than to be systematically developed in the sphere of logic and theory. Especially, the applicative studies on the adjustment of attention has only been set forth recently, which means more applicative studies are required to better understand the attention development procedures of athletes. The follow-up studies will require a strategy based on the quality of the study, which may be able to achieved through a good combination of single-testee method and case study. Through all this, we should be able to provide an attention improvement training method to each of the athletes in need based on the theories and methodologies mentioned above, for which profound studies in this Held will be required.

      • 錦江의 魚類群集 分類에 關한 硏究 : A Study on the Classification of fish Communities in the Geum River

        1. Fishes of 53 species and 13 families were collected at 16 station in the Geum River from May 1977 to August 1980. 2. Fish communities were divided with common fishes which had high relative abundance and constancy value, and then divided minutely with continuum theory at ordinated partial table which was made from characteristic species with 10∼60% constance value. 3. Fish communities in the Geum River were divided into four : describing fome upper river, Zacco- Zacco community, Gobiobotia- Zacco community which was connection community, Pseudobagrus- Opsariichthys community and Coilia- Carassius community. 4. The structure of fish communities in the Geum River was complicated with following orders: Zacco- Zacco community, Pseuobagrus- Opsariichthys community, Gobiobotia- Zacco communty and Coilia- Carassius community.

      • 심상훈련이 스포츠 경기력에 미치는 효과 : 이론적 고찰 A Theoretical Observation

        An athlete must train his body and practice image training on an everyday basis in order to keep his competitive power in sports games and to improve it. This study is focused on the concept and theory of image training and its characteristics and actual effect along with the relevant case studies. Also, through thorough observations, the optimal psychological preparation for athletes to increase their competitive power in sports games was comprehensively studied. For image training to take effect and lead to the improvement in competitive power, both athletes and instructors should always try to find out ways to practice image training in a theoretical way, while working out to find out a psychological preparation method for each of the athlete, with more comprehensive point of view. Meanwhile, those who are interested in the psychological preparations to improve competitive power of athletes might need to take into consideration that most of what have been studied here are based on the cases of western athletes and were founded on the basis of their culture, and try to work out to provide a foundation on which to build an image training and psychological preparation strategy for Korean athletes.

      • 2000년/2001년도 시즌의 스키 상해에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the general characteristics of ski injury that had happened during the period of 1999 winter season in ski resort located in Kwangwon province. The data for the investigation was obtained from the first aid treatment jogs of aforementioned resort and their total were 196 cases. The researcher themselves looked into the data accumulated and organized with respect to frequency, daily probability, cause, types, and frequent parts of the injury. Primary findings from this investigation includes the following. 1. It was found the female’s ratio(48.36%) for the injury appeared higher than male(51.24%), 64.72% of the total ski injury cases were happened in age bracket of 30 years old and under. 2. Weekend injury ratio appeared relatively higher than weekdays and 25.00% of the injury cases were found in this study. 3. With respect to the time zone of the injury, it was found that the most likelihood time was between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and 37.75% cases in this survey. 4. The most frequently injured body parts found from this investigation were, lower limbs(60.47%), upper limbs(20.60%), head injury(15.36%) chest(3.57%) in order. Within limitations and findings of this study, the researchers concluded that sufficient pre-season preparation in terms of fitness and knowledge of skiing skill is the prerequisite for the ski injury prevention.

      • 자율신경계의 활성도 측정을 위한 Data Acquisition System의 개발 및 임상응용

        Background: Power spectrum analysis method is a powerful noninvasive tool for quantifying autonomic nervous system activity. In this paper, we developed a data acquistion system for estimating the activity of the autonomic nervous system by the analysis of heart rate and respiratory rate variability using power spectrum analysis. Materials and methods: For the detection of QRS peak and measurement of respiratory rate from patient's ECG, we used low-pass filter and impedance method respectively. This system adopt an isolated power for patient's safety. In this system, two output signals can be obtained: R-R interval(heart rate) and respiration rate time series. Experimental ranges are 30∼240 BPM for ECG and 15∼80 BPM for respiration. Regults: The system can acquire two signals accurately both in the experimental test using simulator and in real clinical setting. Conclusion: The system developed in this paper is efficient for the acquisition of heart rate and respiration signals. This system will play a role in research area for improving our understanding of the pathophysiologic involvement of the autonomic nervous system in various disease states.
