        폐렴 발생 후 자연 괴사된 간세포암종 1 예

        Spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carcinoma is an extraordinarily rare phenomenon. Fewer than 20 occasions have been reported in the English medical literature. There have only been 5 case reports in Korea. Understanding of the mechanism of spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carcinoma will help us to establish new treatments for the disease. In this case report, we present a 53 year-old Asian male who showed spontaneous necrosis of hepatocellular carcinoma confirmed with pathology. He developed a febrile condition secondary to pneumonia for 2 weeks. After that hepatocellular carcinoma was observed to have been necrosed on an MRI scan and hepatic angiography. A right lobectomy of the liver was done because the possibility of residual microscopic cancer cells could not be ruled out. The pathologic finding confirmed the spontaneous near-total necrosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. The patient has recovered uneventfully and has been followed up for 7 months.         초미분 금속질화물의 제조에 관한 연구 (2) : 기상반응법에 의한 질화알루미늄분체의 제조 Formation of Aluminum Nitride Powders by the Vapor Phase Reaction

        In order to find out the formation procedures and the serves of morphology for aluminum nitride by the vapor phase reaction, the experiments have been carried out in the temperature range of 200-1500℃ and the various pressures. The reaction products and thermal decomposited powders in the various temperatures and pressures have been thoroughly investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, and electron microscopy. Sphere shaped A1N was formed from 600℃, whereas whisker-shaped and rod-shaped A1N crystals were obtained in more than 1000℃ in the vapor phase reaction. For aluminum nitride powders, the growth of crystal was accelerated at constant pressure of 4.9 KPa. A1N formed by these reaction is changed gradually into sphere, plumule, and rod-shaped with increasing temperature.

        간절제술로 확인된 간세포암의 자연괴사 1예

        Spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carcinoma is extremely rare. Up to date, only 17 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma with spontaneous regression were reported in the English literature and there is 1 case of it in Korea. The mechanism of spontaneous regression has been a puzzle. Here, we describes a 70-year-old man with chronic hepatitis in whom spontaneous necrosis of hepatocellular carcinoma occurred and the possibility of spontaneous regression was suggested. He had right upper quadrant pain and computed tomography disclosed a 4 cm-sized hypodense mass at left lobe of the liver. Fine needle aspiration biopsy revealed almost total necrosis with a few scattered naked nuclei showing nuclear hyperchromasia and prominent nucleoli, which was highly suggestive of malignancy. When surgically resected, the specimen showed thick trabecular pattern of tumor with extensive necrotic change, which was a histological appearance of hepatocellular carcinoma. After surgery, the patient has recovered well.

        Recently as well as the increase in terror such as assassination, kidnapping, destruction due to the mutual conflict between religions and separation of minority race, fighting for independence all over the world, even the possibility of mass destruction and large confusion which is terrible as for the terror of biochemical weapon or nuclear weapon are gradually increasing, and new types of terror such as environmental terror and cyber terror are entering, so the terror problem is becoming one of the biggest international issue since the collapse of cold-war system. The terror by the bio-weapon was far away from our interest rather than other weapons, but it can display much stronger effect, and for the various features that it's cheap in production cost, the disguise of the production facility is easy, and it's high in strategic value on the special condition, although it's difficult to find out, it is true that the interest in it as terror means is increasing. And the main feature of toxic weapon is that it's stronger in fatality than the microorganism generally, and relatively, it shows immediate and wide effect about the terror target within a few minutes or a few hours which are short similar to the chemical weapons, and after it is exposed at the bacteria, it has the concealing period to the attack for a few weeks at length, so we cannot know exactly the attacking place of bio-weapon or the period. So it is difficult to eliminate pollution in a short time and injecting vaccine as well as prevention. In addition, for the development of' traffic, the carriers move in a high speed of' the wide area, so the infected region expands quickly. For only the threatening of the usage of the weapon, this kind of' bio-weapon can cause social catastrophe to the status of panic and popular insecurity which these people targets on and is declared as a group, and by this, the social security will be disturbed seriously and it has the feature to lead to the collapse phenomena. So the response to the bio-chemical terror must be coped together, while transcending the individual and nation, and for this, the systematical measure system construction can be said necessary. Firstly, to construct the efficient measure system of bio-chemical terror, we must edit systematical measure structure at the dimension of government, and the organic collaboration system between the organizations and co-research and the exchange of information are needed. We must reinvestigate the bio-chemical weapon prohibition agreement verification system for the prevention of bio-chemical and we must prepare the legal systematical device which can search the regulation method internationally. After all, to prevent the terror, both the nation and the people must recognize the importance of security countermeasure, and must try hard continuously while measuring the security of the people through continuous mutual assistance with the international organization, and realistic legal and institutional reformation which gets ready of' the threatening like large-size terror nationally, what is necessary above all is the government's security of trust by which the people can believe and follow the safety.

        One of the most important things for holding the international event successfully is that the safe of attendants at the event and the public. It is the measure for stabilizing national life and establishing public order. In the entrance of the 21st century the world is becoming globalized and many countries enter the alliance with others. A lot of problems awaiting solution are left and much effort for getting stabilization is made around the world. Such international events as summit and athletic meeting are increasing more and more and thus security needed for the successful events is a must. By this time the study for the successful events doesn't almost have carried out. The purpose of this thesis is to present some effective ways to hold the successful events. With an examination of the concept and meaning of the international event, some security activities that has been made in the international events are analyzed and further effective counterplans for successful security activities in the international events are suggested. In the chapter I, the necessity, objective, method and restriction of this thesis as well as the definition of the term frequently used are presented. In the chapter Ⅱ, the concept and meaning of the international event, the meaning of security activity and terrorism in the international society are presented. In the chapter Ⅲ, both native and foreign summit and athletic meeting which has been held are surveyed. In the chapter Ⅳ, some problems in security activities are introduced and countermeasures for this are suggested. Some problems are pointed as follows: the number of the guard and the equipment needed for events, event place, accommodations, traffic regulation, ceremony and communication facilities. And the couterplans which are the core of this study are presented by dividing them into three categories: facilities, application, and measure. In the facilities part, the number of the guard and the equipment needed for events, event place, accommodations, communication facilities are considered. In the application part, smoothy traffic regulation, reasonable drive of ceremony activity, unification with safe control organization and specialization, reexamination for the number of security guards needed for events, the improvement in the uniform of guards in the event place, the selection of the best quality of volunteers are considered. In the measure part, preparation for systemic devices, the harmony of international cooperation, the control of an assembly demonstration of NGO, national support and forming of people's sympathy are needed. International event is the largest event related with politics, economy, culture and thus such large-scale event must be a comprehensive counterplan in the light of safety check for the location of event, elimination of a hazard and safety check of facilities in and out, attendance on athlete and visitor and escort of VIP. Therefore the above counterplans for successful international event must be prepared as soon as possible.

        절식대사 시험에 의한 한우 수소의 유지에너지 요구량 결정에 관한 연구

        한우 수소의 유지를 위한 정미에너지 및 대사에너지를 구하기 위하여 28회의 절식대사 시험을 수행하였다. 체중 100 ㎏에서 400㎏까지 100㎏ 증체 간격(100, 200, 300, 400 ㎏)으로 7종류의 사료를 각각 유지에너지 수준만 급여하여 분뇨채취를 위한 대사시험(5일)과 열 발생량 측정을 위한 호흡대사시험(2일)을 수행한 후 다시 5일간 완전 절식시켜 마지막 24시간 동안 호흡대사시험을 실시하였다. 3종의 사료는 배합사료+볏짚(실험 Ⅰ), 배합사료+목건초(실험 Ⅱ), 배합사료+옥수수 사일리지(실험 Ⅲ)이었고, 조사료와 농후사료의 비율은 40:60으로 하였다. 실험 Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅶ은 각각 볏짚, 목건초, 옥수수 사일리지, 배합사료를 단독 급여하였다. 체중 100㎏에서는 절식대사량이 66.05/W^0.75로 높았으나, 체중 200∼400㎏ 사이에서는 60∼63㎉/W^0.75로 거의 비슷하였다. 절식대사량에서 절식시 근육 활동(기립시간과 기복횟수)에 소요된 에너지를 제외한 체중 100∼400㎏의 평균 기초대사량은 55.92㎉/W^0.75이었다. 절식대사량에 체조직의 분해산물로서 뇨 에너지 배설량을 추가적으로 보정한 NEm 요구량은 체중 100㎏에서 가장 높아 69.10 ㎉/W^0.75였으나, 체중 200∼400㎏ 간에서는 62.07∼65.76㎉/W^0.75로서 체중간에 차이가 없었다. 각 사료조합중 유지량을 급여한 사료조합의 에너지 균형에서 얻어진 에너지 축적량(retained energy)과 보정 NEm인 기초대사시 열 발생량으로 섭취한 대사에너지를 에너지 평형상태로 환산한 결과, 전 체중 평균 MEm 요구량은 102.69㎉/W^0.75이었다. Net and metabolizable energy requirements for maintenance of Hanwoo (Korean native cattle) bulls were estimated in twenty-eight fasting metabolism trials using seven different feeds at four stages of body weight(100, 200, 300 and 400㎏). Three cattle for each of twenty-eight trials fed at a level of maintenance energy requirement were housed in metabolic stalls during the 5 days of collection period. Thereafter, during the 2 days of respiration period the heat production was measured by indirect calorimetry using respiratory chamber. After finishing the respiratory metabolism trials under the maintenance level, experimental animals were fasted for 5 days and were measured heat production by indirect calorimetry using respiratory chamber. Seven different fees were: 1) mixed ration of concentrate and rice straw, 2) mixed ration of concentrate and mixed grass hay, 3) mixed ration of concentrate and corn silage, 4) rice straw alone, 5) mixed grass hay alone, 6) corn silage alone, 7) concentrate alone. Fasting heat production were 66.05/W^0.75 at 100㎏ of body weight and 60~63㎉/W^0.75 at 200~400㎏ of body weight. When subtracting heat loss by muscular work from the fasting heat production, basal metabolic rate was 55.92㎉/W^0.75. The average values of NEm requirements were obtained by adding urinary energy excretion to the basal metabolic rates were 69.1, 62.1, 65.8 and 64.4㎉/W^0.75 for the four stages of body weight, respectively. The ME requirement for maintenance could be calculated using retained energy and the efficiency of utilization of ME for net energy. The ME requirement for maintenance thus obtained was 102.69㎉/W^0.75.

        수시공시품질의 결정요인에 대한 연구

        본 연구에서는 대리인문제 및 경영자에 대한 감시유인과 수시공시품질 사이의 관련성을 파악하였다. 대리인문제를 주주와 전문경영자 사이의 관계, 채권자와 주주간의 관계, 그리고 소액주주와 지배주주와의 관계로 구분하였으며, 경영자에 대한 감시유인을 이사회, 감사위원회 및 외국인투자자의 감시유인으로 구분하였다. 수시공시품질을 측정하기 위해 수시공시를 성격에 따라 수시강제공시와 수시자발공시로 구분하였다. 수시공시의 질적인 측면을 나타내는 수시강제공시품질은 불성실공시법인지정여부로 측정하였으며, 수시공시의 양적인 측면을 나타내는 수시자발공시품질은 수시자발공시건수로 측정하였다. 2002년부터 2012년까지 한국거래소 유가증권시장에 상장된 비금융기업 가운데, 불성실공시법인으로 지정된 267개 기업-년 자료를 분석표본으로 선정하였다. 불성실공시법인지정 사유를 검토하여 대상정보를 성실하게 공시한 기업 중 같은 연도 및 산업에 속하며 자산규모 차이가 가장 작은 267개 기업-년 자료를 통제표본으로 선정하였다. 분석 및 통제표본을 합한 534개 기업-년 자료를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불성실공시법인지정여부로 측정한 수시강제공시품질의 결정요인을 파악한 결과, 경영자지분율, 경영자스톡옵션부여여부 및 외국인지분율이 불성실공시법인지정여부와 유의적인 음의 관련성이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 반면, 부채비율은 불성실공시법인지정여부와 유의적인 양의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수시자발공시건수로 측정한 수시자발공시품질의 결정요인을 파악한 결과, 대규모기업집단여부, 이사회사외이사비율 및 외국인지분율과 수시자발공시건수 사이에 유의적인 양의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 불성실공시법인으로 지정되지 않고 수시자발공시건수가 많은 기업을 수시공시품질이 높은 집단으로 분류한 후, 대리인문제와 감시주체의 경영자에 대한 감시유인과 수시공시품질 사이의 관련성을 파악하였다. 검증결과, 경영자스톡옵션부여여부 및 외국인지분율과 수시공시품질 사이에 유의적인 양의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부채비율과 수시공시품질 사이에 유의적인 음의 관련성이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. We investigate what factors influence the quality of timely disclosure focusing on both agency problems and monitoring incentives for managers. Considering three agency problems which can occur between stockholders and managers, between stockholders and creditors, and between majority and minority stockholders, we examine whether each category of agency problems is associated with the quality of timely disclosure. We also examine whether the incentives of outside monitors such as independent directors, audit committee and foreign investors are associated with the quality of timely disclosure. We classify timely disclosure into timely mandatory disclosure and timely voluntary disclosure. We use the designation of unfaithful disclosure as a proxy for the quality of timely mandatory disclosure and the number of timely voluntary disclosure as a proxy for the quality of timely voluntary disclosure. We use 534 non-financing firm-year data concerning Korean listed companies for the period 2002-2012. We selected 267 non-financing firms designated as unfaithful disclosure firms, matched with those not selected as unfaithful disclosure firms. The matching criteria used in this paper include year, industry and firm size. Our main findings of this study are as follows. First, we find that managerial ownership, the existence of stock options for managers, and foreign investors' stockholding ratio are negatively associated with possibility of being designated as unfaithful disclosure firm. We also find that debt ratio is positively associated with possibility of being designated as unfaithful disclosure firm. Second, we find that the number of timely voluntary disclosure is positively associated with the dummy variable indicating whether managers belong to the business group, the proportion of the independent directors on the board of directors and the stockholding ratio of foreign investors. Third, regarding the group as high quality of timely disclosure which is high number of timely voluntary disclosure and not designated as unfaithful disclosure firm, we find that the existence of stock options for managers and foreign investors' stockholding ratio are positively associated with the quality of timely disclosure. However, we find that debt ratio is negatively associated with the quality of timely disclosure.
