In the course of developing novel antitumor intercalating agents, we synthesized 3- carbamoyloxymethyl-azaanthraquinones 6-12, incorporating the latent alkylating functionality. These compounds were designed to explore the effect of heteroatom incorporation into anthraquinone chromophore and the effect of the incorporation of the latent alkylating functionality. The derivatives were prepared by hetero Diels-Alder reaction as a key step followed by functionality of allylic methyl to the desired substituents. Growth inhibitory studies of the azaanthraquinones were conducted in vitro against human cancer cell lines (SNU-354: liver and MCF7: breast) and human epidermoid carcinoma cells that are sensitive (KB-3-1) and multidrug-resistant (KB-V-1). The derivatives were 10 to lOO-fold less potent than doxorubicin against sensitive cell lines. However, they were marginally cross-resistant with doxorubicin against KB-V-1.
코로나19(COVID-19) 시대의 화상(畫像) 미술치료 사례연구: 미취학 아동 어머니의 우울감 및 양육스트레스 완화를 중심으로

본 연구는 코로나19(COVID-19)로 사회적 거리두기를 실천하는 미취학 아동 어머니의 우울감 및 양육스트레스 완화를 위한 화상(畫像) 미술치료로 새로운 환경을 통한 미술치료의 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 육아카페와 SNS를 통해 모집한 미취학 아동의 어머니 5명으로, 2020년 4월 23일부터 6월 5일까지 개인별 주 2회, 총 8회기(회기당 50분)의 화상 미술치료를 실시하였다. 연구자료는 참여자의 사전․사후 변화를 살펴보기 위해 우울 검사(BDI)와 한국판 부모 양육스트레스 검사(K-PSI-SF) 그리고 동적가족화(KFD)와 빗속의 사람(PITR) 그림검사를 진행하였으며, 화상 미술치료 환경점검 및 개선을 위한 설문지를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 화상 미술치료를 통한 미취학 아동 어머니의 우울감은 3명의 우울 없음과 2명의 단계 하락으로 전체 우울감이 완화되었다. 둘째, 화상 미술치료를 통한 미취학 아동 어머니의 양육스트레스는 3명의 양육스트레스 없음과 2명의 양육스트레스 유지로 부분 완화되었으며, 그림검사를 통한 긍정적 정서변화가 관찰되었다. 셋째, 화상공간을 통한 미술치료는 시․공간의 참여기회 확장과 치료사와의 원활한 교감으로 치료적 환경의 가능성을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 화상 미술치료를 통해 새로운 치료적 환경의 가능성 제시에 의의가 있으며, 화상공간에서의 내담자 안전문제와 치료사의 개인정보 보호를 위한 논의가 필요하다. This study sought to explore the possibility of art therapy in a new environment: using online art therapy to relieve depression and parenting stress of mothers of preschoolers who practice social distancing due to COVID-19. The research subjects were five mothers of preschoolers recruited through an online network. The online art therapy was conducted individually, twice a week, 50 minutes per session, from April 23 to June 5, 2020. In order to examine the changes in participants, the following pre- and post-tests were conducted: Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Korean version of the Parenting Stress Index-Short Form (K-PSI-SF), Kinetic Family Drawing (KFD), and People in the Rain (PITR). To improve the environment of online art therapy, a questionnaire was conducted after. The results of this study were as follows: First, mothers’ depression was alleviated using online art therapy. Second, parenting stress was able to partially relieved, and positive emotional changes were observed through the drawing test. Third, art therapy in the online space has the potential to be a therapeutic environment through the expansion of opportunities for participation in time and space and smooth interaction with therapists. This study is meaningful to raise the possibility of a new therapeutic environment through online art therapy. However, discussion about the safety of patients in the online space and the protection of personal information by therapists are still needed.
Fugong mangrove 퇴적토의 PAHs 오염과 미생물 군집구조

Effect of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) on the microbial community structure of surface sediments of Fugong mangrove, China was investigated. The concentrations of total PAHs and microbial community structure based on 5'-terminal restriction fragment length polymophism(T-RFLP) was analyzed. Total PAHs concentrations ranged from 280.0 to 1206.8 ng/g dry weight and was lower than ER-L value suggested by Long et al.[1995]. The Shannon-Weaver diversity index of the dominant bacteria in surface sediment was similar between stations (3.58~4.23). Cluster analysis of microbial community structure revealed that the environmental conditions such as salinity plantation etc. were more important for the distribution of microorganisms than concentrations of PAHs.

The target compounds were prepared by hetero Diels-Alder reaction as a key step followed by functionalization of benzylic methyl to the desired substituents. Growth inhibitory studies of the azaanthraquinones were conducted in vitro against human cancer cell lines (SNU-354; liver and MCF7; breast) and human epidermoid carcinoma cells that are sensitive (KB-3-1) and multidrug-resistant (KB-V-1). The compounds were less potent than doxorubicin against sensitive cell lines. However, the most active compound 12 was not cross-resistant with doxorubicin against KB-V-1.

In the course of developing novel antioxidants, we synthesized four of 6-hydroxy-7-methoxy-4-oxochroman-2carboxylic acid dialkylamides (3a-d) $(13{\sim}18%)$ and four of 6-hydroxy-7-methoxychroman-2-carboxylic acid dialkylamides (4a-d) $(52{\sim}89%)$, incorporating the basic amine functionality. None of these compounds exhibited significant antioxidant activity possibly due to the hydrophilic character of the basic amine side chains.

천궁약침액을 7일간 중완혈, 간수혈 및 임의혈에 투여한 후 마우스의 간에서 유도되는 phase II enzyme 유도 효과를 살펴본 결과 마우스의 간 조직에서 Phase II 효소의 활성이 증가된 것으로 보아 천궁약침액은 외부물질이나 대사산물에 의해 일어날 수 있는 암발생 억제 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다. The activity of phase II enzyme in the liver of mice was examined following the application of Cnidium officinale Makino aqua-acupuncture solution (COMAS). The application of COMAS $CV_{12}$ to mice for 7 days increased quinone reductase(QR) activity. The glutathione S-transferase(GST) activity was also increased with COMAS. A greater increase was observed in the glutathione(GSH) levels than in the QR and GST activities.

The high speed line and conventional line are a single-phase AC feeding system and power supplies of different phases meet at SS(SubStation)s or SP(Sectioning Post)s. These sections should be negotiated with the main circuit breaker in the traction vehicle switched off, whereby the length of the neutral zone prevents the pantographs shunting adjacent overhead line section. In order for electric railway vehicles to make power running there, there must be a power supply changeover section (approx. for 1㎞), where a changeover switch changes a power supply to the other power supply of a train running direction sequentially. For a thorough changeover switching control, the precise train position detection is necessarily required. In this paper, to realize the ground-based train position detection method, configuration scheme of train position detection equipment is suggested by using track circuit and axle counter.

The seasonal variations of nitrifying bacterial population sampled from 3 sites in Moon-Chon reservoir were analyzed by in situ hybridization with fluorescently labeled rRNA-targeted oligonucleotide probes from August 2000 until July 2001. In addition, physico-chemical parameters such as temperature, pH, chl-a and DOC were measured to determine correlations between those factors and the size of nitrifying bacterial populations. Total bacterial numbers varied in the range of 0.8∼1.5×10 exp (6) cells/㎖ independent of sites and had the maximal values in March at all 3 stations. The ratio of eubacteria to total bacteria ranged from 44.9% to 79.5%, and the ratio of each nitrifying bacteria to eubacterial numbers reached only 1.0∼7.4%. The variations of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria ranged from 1.1×10 exp (4) to 3.0×10 exp (4) cells/㎖ without noticeable peak values whereas those of nitrite-oxidizing bacteria varied in 1.3∼5.7×10 exp (4) cells/㎖ with the increasing tendency in winter regardless of the sites. Moreover it was observed that the numbers of nitrite-oxidizing bacteria were higher than those of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria. Total bacterial numbers correlated with water temperature(r=0.355, p<0.05) and DOC(r=0.586, p<0.05) and pH(r=-0.568, p=0.001) negatively. In addition, DOC represented good correlations with eubacterial numbers(r=0.448, p<0.01). These results indicate that temperature, DOC and pH might be one of the main factors affecting variations of bacterial populations in the aquatic ecosystem. It was also suggested that FISH method is a useful tool for detection of slow growing nitrifying bacteria.

A series of 2-alkyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-2-azacyclopenta[b]anthracene-5,10-diones ($3a{\sim}h$) were synthesized and evaluated in vitro cytotoxicity against colon cancer cell lines (HCT116 and SW620) and nuroblastoma cell lines (SK-N-SH and SK-N-MC). Among them, compound 3f showed significant cytotoxic activity ($IC_{50}$ against SK-N-SH; $14.8{\mu}M$, $IC_{50}$ against SK-N-MC; $11.3{\mu}M$).
