        • 딸기의 유통실태와 성숙중의 품질변화

          딸기의 유통실태와 성숙중 품질변화를 조사하였다. 딸기의 채과 및 선별시에 상당한 품질손상이 있었다. 또 수확은 과일의 품온을 고려하지 않은체 이루어지고 있었다. 고령 딸기단지에서 생산된 딸기는 소매상 까지 약 25시간이 소요되었고, 계절별 가격차이가 매우 심하였다. 2-3월의 유통수명은 5-6일, 5-6월은 24-30시간 이었다. 착색도 즉 a값과 색포화율로서 본 숙도는 개화 후 28-32일 째가 적숙기 이었으며, 40일 째 이후는 과숙기 이었다. 개화 후 24일째의 미숙과, 32일째의 적숙과, 40일째의 과숙과를 시료로 하여 품질을 평가한 결과 비타민 C, 당, 종합적인 품질은 적숙과가 미숙과나 과숙과에 비하여 현저히 높은 값을 보였고, 산도는 숙도의 진행에 따라 점차 감소하여 당/산 비는 증가하는 경향에 있었다. 또 과숙과는 다소 검붉은 빛이 났으며, polyphenol함량은 숙도의 진행에 따라 감소하였다. Circulation state, and changes in quality during ripening of strawberry were investigated. Tissue damage of the fruit happened when it was harvested and selected. Strawberry has been harvested without considering of fruit temperature in the farm. It takes 25 hours from Goreung which is main production area of strawberry to retailer, and seasonal variation in the price was severe. Self-life of strawberry from Feb to Mar was 5-6 days, and was 24-30 hours from May to June. Disirable ripening stage was 28-30th day after flowering, 40th day and after this was over ripening stage when the degree of ripening estimated by color “a” value and color saturation. Overall eating quality and vitamin C content, and sugar content were more higher in the fruit of the disirable ripening stage than that of unripening and over ripening stage. The blackredness degree was high in the overripening stage.

          Degradation of Phytate Pentamagnesium Salt by Bacillus sp. T4 Phytase as a Potential Eco-friendly Feed Additive

          A bacterial isolate derived from soil samples near a cattle farm was found to display extracellular phytase activity. Based on 16S rRNA sequence analysis, the strain was named Bacillus sp. T4. The optimum temperature for the phytase activity toward magnesium phytate (Mg-InsP_6) was 40C without 5 mM Ca^(2+) and 50°C with 5 mM Ca^(2+). T4 phytase had a characteristic bi-hump two pH optima of 6.0 to 6.5 and 7.4 for Mg-InsP6. The enzyme showed higher specificity for Mg-InsP6 than sodium phytate (Na-InsP6). Its activity was fairly inhibited by EDTA, Cu^(2+), Mn^(2+), Co^(2+), Ba^(2+) and Zn^(2+). T4 phytase may have great potential for use as an eco-friendly feed additive to enhance the nutritive quality of phytate and reduce phosphorus pollution.

          초등 고학년이 지각한 부모의 진로관여행동과진로포부간의 관계- 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과 - - 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과 -

          본 연구는 초등학생이 지각한 부모진로관여행동과 진로포부 간의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감이 매개역할을 하는지 검증하고자 연구목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 경기도 소재 2개 초등학교와 충청도 소재 1개 초등학교에 재학중인 5,6학년 학생 400명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생이 지각한 부모진로관여행동유형(지지, 간섭, 관여부족), 학업적 자기효능감, 진로포부의 상관관계에서 진로지지는 학업적 자기효능감과 진로포부에 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 진로간섭은 진로포부와 정적 상관을 보였지만 학업적 자기효능감에서는 유의미한 관계를 보이지 않았다. 그리고 진로관여부족은 진로포부, 학업적 자기효능감과 부적 상관관계를 나타났다. 초등학생이 지각한 부모진로관여행동유형 중 진로지지와 진로간섭은 진로포부에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 진로관여부족은 진로포부에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모진로관여행동유형(지지, 간섭, 관여부족)과 진로포부 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감의 매개 효과를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 진로지지와 진로포부 간의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감은 부분 매개 효과가 검증되었고, 진로간섭과 진로포부 간의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감은 유의미한 영향력이 없기에 매개 효과 분석에서 제외되었다. 또한 진로관여부족과 진로포부 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감은 완전 매개효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 및 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다. This research was to verify if academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role between the relation of parental career-related behaviors perceived by elementary school students and career-aspiration. The result of the research can be summarized as follows. First, in the correlations among parental career-related behaviors perceived by elementary school students(support for career, career intrusiveness, lack of parental interest in career), academic self-efficacy and career-aspiration, career support shows a positive correlation with academic self-efficacy and career support. Career intrusiveness shows a positive correlation with career aspiration while academic self-efficacy shows no meaningful effect with academic self-efficacy. Also, lack of parental interest in career shows a negative correlation with career aspiration and academic self-efficacy. Second, the search studied if academic self-efficacy has mediating effects in the relation between parental career-related behaviors (support for career, career intrusiveness, lack of parental interest in career) and career aspiration. The research proved that academic self-efficacy partially mediated in the relation between career support and aspiration. Based on such result, the search discussed implications and Imitations, and future direction of the study.

          Partial Characterization of α-Galactosidic Activity from the Antarctic Bacterial Isolate, Paenibacillus sp. LX-20 as a Potential Feed Enzyme Source

          An Antarctic bacterial isolate displaying extracellular α-galactosidic activity was named Paenibacillus sp. LX-20 based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Optimal activity for the LX-20 α-galactosidase occurred at pH 6.0-6.5 and 45C. The enzyme immobilized on the smart polymer Eudragit L-100 retained 70% of its original activity after incubation for 30 min at 50C, while the free enzyme retained 58% of activity. The enzyme had relatively high specificity for α-D-galactosides such as p-nitrophenyl-α-galactopyranoside, melibiose, raffinose and stachyose, and was resistant to some proteases such as trypsin, pancreatin and pronase. Enzyme activity was almost completely inhibited by Ag^+, Hg^(2+), Cu^(2+), and sodium dodecyl sulfate, but activity was not affected by β-mercaptoethanol or EDTA. LX-20 α-galactosidase may be potentially useful as an additive for soybean processing in the feed industry.

          Since the ‘Boramae Hospital’ case and ‘Severance Hospital’ case, most hospitals in South Korea have set up Hospital Ethics Committees(HECs). However, they haven’t worked well because of the absence of legislation and SOPs and a manpower shortage. Based on reviews of cases of SOPs of HECs in other countries such as the USA, Canada, and the UK, this paper will give the basic principles and contents of SOPs for HECs with a foundation of due process and independency. First, HECs must guarantee the best interests of the patients. Second, SOPs must ensure the flexibility to operate HECs according to their situations. Third, HECs must build up the ethical competences through the utilization of case consultation, policy development, and ethics education. Forth, HECs must have the professionalism to get the trust and reasoning power regarding their decisions. Fifth, HECs must be comprised of manpower that has various expertise and experiences. Sixth, HECs must operate through consistent procedures to get the due process. Seventh, HECs must try to ensure the principle of publicity and the participation of the patients to ensure transparency. Eighth, the chief of the institution has the responsibility for HECs to operate independently so that the members of HECs are able to act independently. Ninth, HECs have to maintain and improve the competences through continuous quality assessment. Tenth, all the documents of HECs have to be organized and conserved to ensure operating transparency and confidentiality. Eleventh, we propose the standard templates to promote operating effectiveness.

          키토산 처리 콩나물의 당과 아미노산 함량

          키토산 처리가 콩나물의 성장특성과 당 및 유리아미노산 함량을 조사하였다. 콩나물의 재배는 콩을 0.05% 키토산(493kDa)을 함유하는 0.05% 초산용액에 8시간 침지한 후 20℃에서 5일간 매 2시간 간격으로 주수하였으며, 발아율, 수분함량, 배축과 자엽의 중량과 배축의 길이 및 두께, 당과 유리아미노산 함량을 측정하였다. 주수 3일째 키토산 처리구의 발아율은 88.35%로 대조구 보다 19.47%가 높았다. 5일간 재배한 키토산처리 콩나물의 생체중량은 대조구보다 25%, 수분함량은 5.12%가 높았다. 처리구 자엽의 중량은 대조구보다 적었으나 배축의 중량은 높아 영양물질의 이동이 촉진되었다. 키토산 처리 콩나물 배축의 길이는 22.38cm로 대조구의 19.87cm보다 길었으나, 두께는 처리구 2.08mm, 대조구 2.12mm로 오히려 얇았다. 성장에 따른 전당의 감소율은 대조구보다 처리구에서 높았으며 특히 자엽에서 현저하였다. 환원당의 함량은 콩나물의 성장에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였으며 키토산 처리구의 자엽에서 뚜렸하였다. 재배 5일째 자엽과 배축의 총 유리아미노산의 함량은 자엽과 배축 모두 키토산 처리구에 높았으며 함량이 가장 높은 aspartic acid의 경우 대조구 배축에서는 88.2 mg/100 g-dry weight 이었으나 키토산 처리구의 경우는 120.18 mg/100 g-dry weight 이었다. Growth characteristics, content of sugar and free amino acid of chitosan-treated soybean sprouts were investigated. Soybean sprouts were cultivated for 5 days at 20℃ after soaking in 0.05% acetic acid containing 0.05% chitosan(493 kDa) solution for 8 hr. Germination rate of chitosan-treated group grown for 3 days was 19.47% higher than that of control group. Fresh weight of chitosan-treated soybean sprouts grown for 5 days was 70.28 g/pot which was 18% higher than that of control products(63.86 g/pot). And moisture contents of the chitosan-treated group was 85% which showed 5% higher than that of control products (79.33%). While weights of the treated cotyledon were lower, the weight of treated hypocotyls were higher than those of control products during cultivation, which showed the accretion of nutrients removing from cotyledon to hypocotyl. Hypocotyl length was 22.38㎝ in treated products, 19.87㎝ in control products, but the thickness was 2.08㎜ in treated products, 2.12㎜ in control products. Decreasing rate of total sugar content of chitosan-treated products during cultivation was higher than that of control products, which showed especially in cotyledon. Total free amino acid content of treated cotyledon and hypocoyl grown for 5 days was higher than those of control products. Aspartic acid content of hypocotyl which showed highest content was 88.2㎎/ 100 g-fw in control, 120.18 ㎎/100 g-fw in chitosan-treated products.
