        유기 박막의 EL특성

        Electroluminescent (EL) devices based on organic thin films are considered to be one of the next generation of flat-panel displays. In this paper, we have investigated electro-luminescent (EL) characteristics of organic EL device using $Alq_{3}$, PBD as emitting material. Current and luminance can be seen that express a similar relativity in voltage and could know that luminance is expressing current relativity.

        LB법으로 제작한 유기디바이스의 누적전이와 전기물성연구

        Monolayers of lipids on a water surface have attracted much interest as models of biological membranes, but also as precursors of multilayer systems promising many technical applications. Until now, many methodologies have been developed in order to gain a better understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the monolayers. Maxwell displacement current (MDC) measurement has been employed to study the dielectric property of Langmuir-films. MDC flowing across monolayers is analyzed using a rod-like molecular model. A liner relationship between the monolayer compression speed α and the molecular area Am. Compression speed α was about 30, 40, 50mm/min. LB layers of Arachidic acid deposited by LB method were deposited onto slide glass as Y-type film. The structure of manufactured device is Au/Arachidic acid/Al, the number of accumulated layers are 9~21. Also, we then examined of the Metal-Insulator-Metal(MIM) device by means of I-V. The I-V characteristic of the device is measured from -3 to +3[V]. The insulation property of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is larger. 초박막 형성 기술중 하나인 LB(Langmuir Blodgett)법은 수면위에 형성된 유기 단분자층을 고체 기판상에 한층씩 이동시켜 박막을 만드는 방법으로 분자 배열의 제어가 가능한 특징을 가지며 분자 order막 구축이 가능하다. 수면위에 형성된 단분자막을 압축 또는 확장하면, 막을 구성하는 분자가 영구쌍극자 능률을 가지기 때문에, 분자가 배향하는 과정에서 맥스웰 변위전류(MDC)가 흐른다. MDC는 전속밀도의 변화에 기인해서 흐르므로 MDC를 측정하는 것에 의해 분자의 동적 거동 관찰할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 변위전류법을 이용하여 압축속도에 따른 수면위 유기단분자막의 동적거동을 관찰하였으며, 수면위 유기 단분자막을 압축하여 slide glass에 3, 6, 9층의 LB막을 각각 누적 Arachidic acid LB막을 제작하고 전자적 특성을 측정한 결과, 제작된 MIM소자의 I-V특성은 저전계영역에서는 ohmic특성이, 고전계영역에서는 nonlinear특성이 나타나고, 누적층수가 증가할수록 더 좋은 전자특성이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

        Balance Assessment in Subacute Stroke Patients Using the Balance Control Trainer (BalPro)

        Objective To demonstrate the efficacy of the balance control trainer (BCT), developed for training patients with balance problems, as a balance assessment tool in subacute stroke patients. Methods A prospective cross-sectional study was carried out on 38 subacute stroke patients in their first episode of a stroke, and having the ability to maintain a standing position without aid for at least 5 minutes. Patients were assessed using the BCT (BalPro) 43.7±35.7 days after stroke. The balance was assessed using the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), the Timed Up and Go Test (TUG), a 10-meter walking test (10mWT), a 6-minute walking test (6MWT), and the Korean version of the Modified Barthel Index. The correlation and validity between the BCT and various balance assessments were analyzed.Results Statistically significant linear correlations were observed between the BCT score and the BBS (r=0.698, p<0.001). A moderate to excellent correlation was seen between the BCT score and 11 of the 14 BBS items. The BCT scores and other secondary outcome parameters (6MWT r=0.392, p=0.048; TUG r=−0.471, p=0.006; 10mWT r=−0.437, p=0.012) had a moderate correlation.Conclusion Balance control training using the BCT (BalPro) showed significant statistical correlation with the BBS, and could therefore be a useful additional balance assessment tool in subacute stroke patients.

        1997${\sim}$1998년 한국에서 발생한 열성 질환에 대한 혈청역학적 연구

        Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), scrub typhus, murine typhus and leptospirosis have been the principal acute febrile diseases in Korea for many years. To evaluate the seroepidemiologic patterns of the acute febrile illness, sera collected from 4,503 patients in $1997{\sim}1998$ were examined for antibodies against Hantaan virus, Orientia tsutsugamushi and Rickettsia typhi by indirect immunofluorescent antibody technique (IFA) and macroscopic agglutination test for Leptospira interogans. Seropositive cases for Orientia tsutsugamushi, Rickettsia typhi, Leptospira interogans and Hantaan virus were 261 (12.4%),242 (11.5%), 11 (0.5%), and 250 (11.9%) in 1997, and 415 (17.3%), 273 (11.4%), 16 (0.7%), and 357 (14.9%) in 1998, respectively. Male was affected more frequently by HFRS and leptospirosis while scrub typhus was more prevalent in female. Old age group was more susceptible to the acute febrile diseases. Most positive cases were occurred during October and November for scrub typhus, and during November and December for HFRS. These results showed similar patterns with previous epidemiological data obtained during recent several years, except the single scrub typhus epidemic in 1998, and implied that no significant changes occurred in ecologic system for acute febrile diseases in Korea.

        나노구조 단분자막의 전기적 특성 연구

        - Dendrimers represent a new class of synthetic macromolecules characterized by a regularly branched treelike structure. Multiple branching yields a large number of chain ends that distinguish dendrimers from conventional star-like polymers and microgels. The azobenzene dendrimer is one of the dendrimeric macromolecules that include the azo-group exhibiting a photochromic character. Due to the presence of the charge transfer element of the azo-group and its rod-shaped structure, these compounds are expected to have potential interest in electronics and photoelectronics, especially in nonlinear optics. In the present paper, we give pressure stimulation to organic thin films and detect the induced displacement current. Functional photoisometrization organic molecular the photo-stimulus to organic monomolecular L films and LB films of dendrimer and 8A5H were performed. The 8A5H organic monolayer in case of pressure stimulus occurred that positive course but in case of the photo-stimulus compared positive and negative. It is assumed that generation forms of displacement current were measured when photo-stimulus for impression.

        1996년 한국에서 발생한 열성질환에 대한 혈청역학적 연구

        Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), scrub typhus, murine typhus and leptospirosis have been the principal acute febrile diseases in Korea. To evaluate the seroepidemiologic patterns of acute febrile illness, sera collected from 2,423 patients in 1996 were examined for antibodies against Hantaan virus, Orientia tsutsugamushi, Rickettsia typhi, and Borrelia burgdorferi by indirect immunofluorescent antibody technique (IFA) and macroscopic agglutination test for Leptospira interogans. Seropositive cases against Otsutsugamushi, Rickettsia typhi, Leptospira interogans and Hantaan virus were 192 (7.9%), 193 (8.0%), 12 (0.5%) and 324 (13.4%), respectively. Male was more affected in HFRS and murine typhus contrasting to scrub typhus and leptospirosis in female. Most positive cases occurred during October and November for scrub typhus, and during November and December for HFRS. These results showed similar patterns with previous epidemical data for recent couple of years, and possibly implied no significant changes occurred in ecologic situations for acute febrile diseases in Korea.
