        MOW의 산소-알칼리 첨가 과산화수소 표백

        To produce the raw material used for printing and writing paper or high quality tissue, MOWs that were consisted of white ledger, colored ledger and old newspaper were bleached with EoP and EoPY(FAS) method, the EoP bleaching process gave the improvement in brightness and a high color removal efficiency. Especially, MOW B(initial brightness: 59.1% ISO) that contained much old newspaper showed the higher bleaching efficiency than those of MOW A(initial brightness: 68.3%). After EoPY(FAS) bleaching, MOW's brightness was increased from 68.3% ISO to 84.3∼84.0% ISO, and from 59.1% ISO to 78.7∼79.2% ISO, respectively. Also the tensile and burst index of bleached pulps decreased by 10∼30%. The tear index slightly decreased or halted at the same range as unbleached pulps.

        제주도에(濟州道) 있어서 Toxoplasma 항체분포(抗體分布)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) 1. 돼지, 고양이 및 식육취급자(食肉取扱者)에 있어서의 Toxoplasma 항체분포(抗體分布)에 대하여

        Effect of raising types and environmental conditions on the infection of Toxoplasma in the swine, the cat and the man were studied in Cheju Island from Sept. 1987 to Aug. 1988. Blood samples were taken from 214 conventionally raised swine in 6 villages and 506 swine raised in swine specialized farms, 122 cats raised under free moving or restraned conditions in 8 locations, 113 butchers, and 210 villagers. Toxoplasma antibody values of the blood sera were determined using the enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The eating type of viscera was also investigated by using questionaires 1. When ELISA method was used, the percentage of Toxoplasma infected swine among the conventionally raised and of those raised in swine specialized farms were 60.7% and 21. 390, respectively. The respective mean of antibody values (${\pm}SD$) were 0.589 (${\pm}0.310$) and 0.385 (${\pm}0.237$) and differed very significantly (p<0.01). A significant difference was also found in antibody values among 6 villages (p<0.05). 2. The mean infection percentage of toxoplasma in the cat was 38.2%. the infection percentage for cats raised under free-moving and re~;trained condition were 37.0% and 38.2% respectively. The respective antibody values(${\pm}SD$) for toxoplasma were 0.600(${\pm}0.614$) and 0.637 (0.645), and did not difference significantly. 3. The infection percentage of toxoplasma in villagers and butchers were 26.2 and 38.3% respectively. The respective antibody values (SD) for toxoplasma were 0.429(${\pm}0.195$) and 0.341 (${\pm}0.236$), and differed very significantly (p<0.01). There were also highly significant differences Pyo-sun and other village (p<0.01). 4. Analysis of the questionaires showed that 26.0% of 392 villages eated liver and some villagers eated other viscera.

        아동기 학대 경험이 인지적 정서조절 능력 및 관련 뇌영역 기능에 미치는 영향

        Objectives Maltreatment experiences can alter brain function related to emotion regulation, such as cognitive reappraisal. While dysregulation of emotion is an important risk factor to mental health problems in maltreated people, studies reported alterations in brain networks related to cognitive reappraisal are still lacking. Methods Twenty-seven healthy subjects were recruited in this study. The maltreatment experiences and positive reappraisal abilities were measured using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form and the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, respectively. Twelve subjects reported one or more moderate maltreatment experiences. Subjects were re-exposed to pictures after the cognitive reappraisal task using the International Affective Picture System during fMRI scan. Results The maltreatment group reported more negative feelings on negative pictures which tried cognitive reappraisal than the no-maltreatment group (p < 0.05). Activities in the right superior marginal gyrus and right middle temporal gyrus were higher in the maltreatment group (uncorrected p < 0.001, cluster size > 20). Conclusions We found that paradoxical activities in semantic networks were shown in the victims of maltreatment. Further study might be needed to clarify these aberrant functions in semantic networks related to maltreatment experiences.

        변형체 접촉을 고려한 분말자석 소결단조 성형공정의 유한요소 해석

        Tube Process (TP) is a process to produce permanent magnets using a deformable tube for densification of magnet powder. This process claims that it can accomplish both densification and anisotropication in one step forming. This process is distinguished from other processes since it uses a deformable copper tube for densification of magnet powder. In this paper, simulation has been carried out for tile Tube Process in a closed die considering the compressibility of powdered material, arbitrary curved shape and deformable body contact between Nd-Fe-B magnet powder and a copper tube. Results show that the finite element analysis of the Tube Process plays an important role in the stage of preform design.

        광주지역 산업단지 도장·인쇄시설의 휘발성유기화합물 배출 특성 평가

        This study analyses the characteristics of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emissions from the painting and printing facilities, as well as ambient VOCs at industrial complexes in Gwangju. The major components of VOCs emissions from painting facilities were toluene, acetone, 2-butanone, ethyl acetate, ethyl benzene, o-xylene and m,p-xylene. The printing facilities mostly emitted ethyl acetate, 2-butanone, acetone and toluene. Aromatics (49.9%) and oxygenated VOCs (43.6%) were dominant in painting facilities, while oxygenated VOCs (92.7%) were the largest group in printing facilities. The total hydrocarbon concentration (THC) in printing facilities was approximately six times higher than in the painting facilities. The painting and printing facilities use many solvents. Their THC concentrations differed considerably depending on the type of prevention facilities. To reduce THC, it is necessary to improve the prevention facilities and operating conditions. The dominant species of ambient VOCs in industrial complexes were investigated with toluene, ethyl acetate, 2-butanone, ethyl benzene, m,p-xylene, butyl acetate, o-xylene, hexane and acetone. Factor analysis of ambient VOCs showed that the main sources of the VOCs were organic solvents used in painting, coating, and printing, as well as automobile emissions.

        유성(儒城) 서북부(西北部) 우산봉(雨傘峰) 일대(一帶)에 분포(分布)하는 화강암(花崗巖) 복합체(複合體)의 암석학적(岩石學的) 연구(硏究)

        Granitic complex in the Woosanbong area is composed of schistose granite, two-mica granite, biotite granite, porphyritic granite and pink feldspar granite in order of intrusion. In their boundary aspects, the gradational change between porphyritic granite and pink feldspar granite is observed in field relations. All the granites of the complex are classified to quartz monzonite by the modal compositions following Bateman's classification (1961) with the exception of pink feldspar granite which belongs to granite according to the petrographical classification. The first three granites are characterized by highly development of vein and/or lens-like pegmatites in their bodies, and two others contain green hornblende uniquely. These leucocratic two-mica granite shows an unusual character in ratio of muscovite to biotite 1: 0.7 to 1:13, and contains dominantly microcline. The content of muscovite varies in places in the field. Under the polarizing microscope it is revealed that the muscovite flakes occur as the products altered from biotite partly or completely, and it usually associates with chlorite flakes nearby. These features, therefore, suggests that biotite probably has been altered to muscovite and chlorite by hydration during deuteric processes. At the same stage, sericitization of plagioclase by the hydrolytic decomposition, and transformation of orthoclase to microcline may be taken place. Accordingly, it is obviously permissible to consider the two-mica granite as a kind of 'apo-granite' by deuteric alterations during the consolidation of magma.

        된장으로부터 혈전용해능을 가진 Bacillus sp.의 분리 및 동정

        우리 나라의 전통 대두발효식품인 된장으로부터 혈전용해능을 가진 미생물을 분리하였다. 그 중 5종류의 균주를 Bergey's manual of systematic bacteriology에 의거하여 동정한 결과 Bacillus sp. 균주로 밝혀졌다. 분리된 Bacillus 속 미생물을 효소 유도배지에서 배양한 결과 B. amyloliquefaciens는 2.46 plasmin unit/ml, B pantothenticus는 3.82 plasmin unit/ml 의 혈전용해능을 가지고 있었고, B. subtilis는 4.94 plasmin unti/ml의 높은 혈전용해효소 생산능을 보여주었다. 분리 균주에 의하여 생산된 세포외 단백질을 SDS-PAGE와 reverse fibrin zymogram 활성측정법에 의해 확인한 결과 각 균주별로 서로 다른 혈전용해효소가 생산되었음을 확인하였다. Various bacterial strains that secret extracellular fibrinolytic enzyme were screened from Doen-Jang, a traditional soybean fermented food in Korea. Five microbes of them were identified to be Bacillus sp. strains according to Bergey's manual of systematic bacteriology. The culture filtrates of B. amyloliquefaciens (2.46 plasmin unit/ml) and B. pantothenticus (3.82 plasmin unit/ml) showed a level of fibrinolytic activity that was about three times higher than that of plasmin 1.0 unit and Bacillus subtilis showed the highest fibrinolytic activity (4.94 plasmin unit/ml). All of the extracellular proteases showing the fibrinolytic activity are confirmed by SDS-PAGE followed by reverse fibrin zymogram activity assay and we proposed that some of the fibrinolytic enzymes from this work are novel enzymes.

        제주마(濟州馬)의 위장관(胃腸管)에 기생(寄生)하는 Gasterophilus spp의 분류(分類) 및 분포조사(分布調査)

        This paper dealt with the situation and the hatch rate of bot's eggs on the equine hairs in Cheju horse with the species grouping of the bot flies of equine(genus Gasterophilus). The prevalence and infection dynamics of Gasterophilus spp. larvae was also evaluated in the equine alimentary canal submitted in this laboratory for the necropsy or from the abattoir. Samples including Gasterophilus spp. larvae, bot's flies and its eggs, which were collected from the alimentary canal and equine hairs, respectively, were studied and classified by morphology. The morphologic feature of the spines of Gasterophilus larvae were studied by scanning electron microscope. 1. Gasterophilus intestinalis larvae concentrated in the nonglandular portions of the stomach. The infection of second-, and third stage larvae were common in November, and from January to October, respectively. Gasterophilus nasalis larvae were commonly identified on the gastric pylorus and upper portion of duodenum. Second stage larvae were found from October to December, and 3rd stage larvae, from January to September. 2. The hatch rate of laid eggs of Gasterophilus intestinalis was 28.4%, and that of Gasterophilus nasalis was 79.5%. The hatch rate of Gasterophilus intestinalis eggs was highest(62.5%) in December. The hatch rate of laid eggs were higher in the region of scapula(64.0%) and limbs(62.5%) than on the maned hairs. The eggs of Gasterophilus nasalis were completely hatched by October. 3. Eight hundred five Cheju horses examined in this study were infected with the eggs of Gasterophilus spp. Gasterophilus intestinalis eggs on the body regions from sixty horses were recognized in phalangeal (14.4%), in abdominal(13.8%), metacarpal, brachial and cervical regions. Gasterophilus nasalis eggs were uncommon and recognized in submandibular regions(1.4%). 4. In conclusion, the infection of imago, larvae and eggs of both Gasterophilus intestinalis and Gasterophilus nasalis were indentified in cheju horse.
