      • 牽龍軍과 禁軍의 任務에 關한 史的 考察

        Gyun-ryong-gun's mission was to guard the personal safety of the king in a close-by position,.in accordance with its role, the royal guard could be divided into two kind. One was a guard of honor end the other was just common protection, which was accompanied by four Nang-jang, two person Sang-jang-goon, two person Dae-jang-goon, four person Chun-woo-be-sin-jang-goon, and in front of which were Woo-san, Chung-gok-byong-dea-san, Gong-jak-sun, Hong-su-sun, headed by Do-jee, Joong-gun. Soon-gum-goon followed this guarding procession. Gyun-ryong-gun performed important duties not only at the time of royal processions but in side the palace, which was the duty of Sook-wee, which was performed at a very close-by position to the king by the unit bracing up to reconfirm their loyalties by staying close to them. Gum-gun's mission was central military man were normally protected the Coyale palaces, but when the King come and go they accompanied and protected the king in safety zone. But just in case they did a job as a member of capital protection military affairs. A question of finance was the reason why there had been dual protection system due to financial matter. If it increased number of man it would pay much money, therefore central military man who has no relevance to national finance were supplied as members of military affairs for the protection of king. Two organization of measures were directly related to the establishment of the powerful guarding troops, which was a key to the strengthening of royal power.

      • 대학입시에서 봉사활동의 반영현황과 과제

        인간의 내적지각(inner perception)은 앎의 통전적방법(holistic ways of knowing)으로서 통찰력(insight), 직관(intuition), 상상력(imagination), 그리고 영감(inspiration)을 가능하게 하여 창조적 사고를 발달시킨다. 청소년기의 봉사활동은 이 같은 내적지각 형성에 매우 큰 영향을 미치며, 이를 통하여 자아실현의 계기가 마련된다. 따라서 봉사학습은 인간교육 및 전인교육의 가장 효과적인 방법 중의 하나라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 새로운 교육철학의 실현과 자원봉사활동의 범국민적 확산을 위하여 중고등학교에서는 자원봉사활동을 실천하고 대학에서는 이를 입시에 반영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그동안 대학입시에서의 봉사활동의 반영 현황을 조사 분석함으로써 보다나은 봉사활동 관련 입시정책 수립의 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

      • Poly(propylene carbonate)의 유리전이 온도의 변화

        In order to reduce carbon dioxide, poly(propylene carbonate) has been synthesized. The alternating copolymers has been obtained from carbon dioxide and propylene oxide using zinc glutarate as a catalyst have different glass transition temperature depending on their synthetic method. The different size of ether block and carbonate block has been known to play imortnat role. The change of structure of PPC were observed under different condition. The glass transition temperature increase as the size of ether block decrease.

      • 사람의 접합상피의 치주 염증시 변화에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the ultrastructural features of human inflammed junctional epithelium. The tissue specimens were taken from a patient with severe periodontitis. After extraction of tooth with not detached junctional epithelium, the tissue were fixed with 2.5% glutaraldehyde in 0.1 M cacodylate buffer (pH 7.4) for 5 hours and decalcified with 0.1M EDTA solution for 12 weeks. The tissue was postfixed with 1% osmium tetroxide in 0.1M cacodylate buffer and dehydrated and embedded in Epon 812. For light microscopic observation, the specimen was cut into the 1㎛ semithin sections and stained with toluidine blue. For electron microscopic observation, the specimen was cut into the 80-90 ㎚ and stained with uranylacetate and lead citrate and examined with JEOL 1200 electron microscope. The results were as follows: 1. At light microscope, the outer surfaces of inflamed junctional epithelium were attached to cementum, it's inner surface were projected digitally to connective tissue. 2. Electron microscope revieled that the basal cell of inflammed junctional epithelium showed numerous desmosomes and basal lamina, but basal lamina had lost it's continuity. 3. Intercellular spaces of junctional epithelium of periodontal pocket were wider than that of normal junctional epithelium and reduced number of desmosomes. 4. Many vacuoles and loss of continuity of basal lamina were observed at the attached junctional epithelium to the tooth surface.

      • 비대칭 동맹의 딜레마 : 이론적 논의

        The concept of alliance was formulated and materialized as one of national security strategies aimed to secure national survival, security and interests from the external threats deriving from anarchistic state of international politics. In particular, the minor states characterized by insufficiency of internal resources and power that are of low international standing and yield weak influence in comparison to the powerful states have shown the tendency of choosing alliance policies as a survival strategy in efforts to cope with security threats borrowing external power. One of the problems arising from forming an alliance between a weak state and a powerful one, however, is the likelihood of the alliance becoming asymmetrical and unequal in roles, functions, autonomies and security benefits between the participating states whose gap can be as wide as the difference between capabilities and influence of respective component states. In short, what could be stated as 'the dilemma of alliance' arises when the autonomy of the weak state is subject to limitation in an exchange with the assurance on its national security from the powerful state. Theories on alliance that provide ample explanation to such an asymmetrical alliance include the theories of patron -client state relationship, autonomy-security trade-off, and abandonment-entrapment model of alliance dependence. The first one, the patron -client state relationship theory, explains the establishment of functional division of labour in which the powerful staterthe patron) unilaterally provides security support and the weak stateCthe client) submits to limitation of its autonomy in forming an alliance. The second one, the autonomy- security trade-off model elucidates a relationship of exchange where the weak state provides territory of strategic importance, defense resources, or political and diplomatic support in compensation for the powerful state providing safety from external threats. This third, abandonment- entrapment model of alliance dependence theory focuses on the security dilemma for the weak state which is likely to face the fear of 'abandonment' by the powerful state as well as the risk of 'entrapment' to the alliance itself that was created within the context of asymmetrical dynamics between the two states. Notwithstanding the problems of the asymmetrical alliance that limits the autonomy of the weaker component state, weak states form alliance with powerful states to generate, maintain and enhance a critical national interest called national security in many levels for its military, politics, diplomacy and other macro-strategies. Hence, the most imperative point of interest for the weak state in such an alliance is the matter of how the balance should be set between security and autonomy. The Republic of Korea (ROK) is searching to make changes in its alliance with the US so as to shape the alliance to cope with changing internal and external security environment and this can be seen in its effort for the wartime operational control transfer. In so doing, Korea needs to take a very sensible approach of how she can set the strategic balance between its security and autonomy to optimize national security and maximize its national interests based on the realistic recognition of the existing asymmetry in the alliance. This paper puts its focus on the theoretical study of the asymmetrical alliance as a basal research for the development of future ROK - US alliance.

        골부초와 자갈대에 의한 고랭지 감자재배지 토양보전 효과

        강원도 고령지 지역의 밭은 경사지에 발달한 곳이 많아서 강우에 의한 유거수와 토양의 유실이 많이 일어나게 된다. 일부 지역에서는 석비레를 이용하여 농업을 하고 있어 강우침식을 쉽게 받을 수 있다. 이러한 농경지 밭에 쉽게 적용하여 토양유실을 저감시킬 수 있도록 하기 위해 농경지 인근에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 잡초와 토양침식 후 표면에 남은 자갈을 이용하여 골에 일정 간격으로 두어 그 효과를 살펴보았다. 토양 유실량은 식양토이면서 13%의 경사를 가진 포장에서는 사경과 등고선 경작만으로도 토양 유실량을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 것으로 나타났고, 경사가 23%,인 석비레 사양토 포장에서는 토양 유실이 심하게 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 부초와 자갈을 최소로 이용하는 골최소부초와 골자갈대를 시험구에 처리함으로써 처리하지 않은 구에 비해 횡계와 용산 포장에서 45% 이상의 토양 유실 저감 효과와 유거수 발생 또한 저감시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 사양토인 석비레 성토 지역의 경우는 토양 유실량이 보전처리구에서 61 Mg/ha 이상이 발생하여 골최소부초와 골자갈대를 3 m 간격으로 처리 하여서는 그 효과를 허용 토양 유실량인 11 Mg/ha 이하로 낮출 수 없는 것으로 평가되어 단일한 방법으로는 토양보전에 부족할 것으로 평가되었다. To develop proper soil management practices for reducing soil erosion, experiments were carried out by using lysimeters in Pyeongchang highland, Korea. Lysimeters installed at Hoenggye had 13% slope, 15 m slope length and 3 m width. Lysimeters with 23% slope, 15 m slope length and 5 m width were also installed at Yongsan. Soil textures in Hoenggye and Yongsan lysimeter plots were silty clay loam and sandy loam, respectively. In the lysimeters potato was cultivated, and slant furrow culture and contour culture were applied. Up-down furrow and continuous fallow lysimeter was included in the experiments as a control plot. For the slant furrow and contour culture methods, minimum furrow mulching and gravel barrier were placed at each end of the furrows in the lysimeters from April to October in 2000 and 2001 to prevent soil and nutrient losses. In Heonggye, in two years experiments, average soil loss of 17 Mg/ha was found in the up-down and continuous fallow lysimeter and 2.6 Mg/ha from furrow minimum straw and slant furrow treatment, and 1.8 Mg/ha from slant furrow and gravel bag treatment. In the contour culture, the soil losses were further reduced. In Yongsan, soil loss in the slant furrow culture without any protection treatment was 167 Mg/ha, and the soil loss was reduce to 61 and 86 Mg/ha with minimum straw and gravel bag treatments, respectively. The soil loss could be reduced more than 45% by furrow minimum straw and gravel barrier. The furrow minimum straw or gravel bag barrier successfully reduced soil loss in clay loam soil in Heonggye, but still the treatments were not enough to reduce soil loss in saprolite piled sandy loam soil in Yongsan.

        특발성 자발성 신장 파열 1예

        Primary aldosteronism is a syndrome characterized by hypertension, hypokalemia, suppressed plasma renin activity, and elevated serum aldosterone levels. Conn first described it 1955 in association with adrenal cortical adenoma(Conn's syndrome). Today, it can be divided into at least six distinctive sub-groups. The diagnosis of primary aldosteronism is usually suspected when the patient presents with poorly controlled hypertension with hypokalemia. The main issues in the evaluation of primary aldosteronism are to differentiate an adenoma from hyperplasia and to localize the adenoma. Basic hormonal studies and computed tomographic(CT) scanning can be used effectively for that differentiation. An adenoma is one of a few potentially curable forms of hypertension, and it is best treated by removing the adrenal tumor. We experienced a case of a typical adrenal adenoma. The patient was a 37-year-old male who had experienced in both his legs over a period of several days a weakness due to hypokalemia. He was diagnosed using basic hormonal studies and adrenal CT scanning. After, he received laparoscopic adrenalectomy and was discharged with improved condition.

      • 공회전 차량의 CO와 NOx의 배출 특성

        Emissions of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides from domestic passenger cars were investigated using a portable gas analyzer(model: Kane May Quintox). The average concentrations of CO emitted from the vehicles selected randomly and classified by a model, ranged from 2,000 ppm to 3,000 ppm, while the concentrations of NOx ranged from 40 to 50 ppm. In addition, the very poor relationship among CO and NOx emissions, vehicle ages, and driving distance was observed. The results suggest that a strict emission regulation of vehicle exhaust gases, in manufacturing a new car, may be much more important for the CO and NOx emissions rather than an optimum maintenance of old cars.
