어머니의 공감능력 및 정서표현성과 유아의 자기조절능력간의 관계 = The Relations between Mother``s Empathy, Mother``s Emotional Expressiveness and Children``s Self-Regulation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to research the relations between mother``s empathy, emotional expressiveness and children``s self-regulation. The participants in this study were 272 3-5 years old and their mothers at kindergartens and child care centers located in Busan. To collect the data, mother``s empathy, emotional expressiveness, and children``s self-regulation measurement tools were used. The collected data were analyzed by applying t-test, one-way ANOVA, product- moment correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of this study, first of the general background of the gender of the children``s was shown to affect children``s self-regulation and self-monitoring and self-control, which is the period total of the girl children``s self-regulation than appeared to remain high. Second, the mother``s empathy and emotional expressiveness were shown to affect children``s self-regulation. And children``s self-regulation were influenced by the order of mother``s negative expression, mother``s positive expression, mother``s cognitive empathy. From the finding, it can be suggested that mother``s empathy and emotional expressiveness predict children``s self-regulation.
