        As the manufacturing techniques of foxtail millet wine, a traditional wine in Cheju island, has been transfered by person to person, basic studies on this are not carried out yet. There are many difficulties to industrialize it successfully without improvement of wine quality. The purposes of this study were to screen saccharifying mold strain and brewing yeast for foxtail millet wine-making. Optimum reaction conditions of crude enzyme of Aspergillus oryzae on saccharifying soluble starch were 55℃, pH 5.6, Saccharifying activity of crude enzyme was maintained 31.0~35.4% at 20~25℃, fermentation temperature, compared to optimum enzyme reaction conditions. Saccharomyces cerevisiae IAM 4274 was selected as brewing yeast strain for foxtail millet wine-making.

        대학에서의 가상교육 운영을 위한 요구분석 : K 대학의 사례를 중심으로 A Case of K University

        본 연구의 목적은 대학에서 가상교육을 운영하기 위하여 교수와 학생들을 대상으로 가상강좌의 활용 실태와 문제점, 요구사항을 파악하기 위한 것으로, 설문 조사를 통하여 가상강좌의 운영과 수강 경험에 따른 가상강좌의 형태와 수업 방법 및 제시 자료, 가상강좌 경험에 대한 만족도를 조사하고, 가상강좌를 보다 효과적으로 운영하기 위한 조건들과 가상교육을 활성화하기 위한 의견에 대하여 조사하였다. 조사 대상은 지방의 K 대학의 교수와 학생들이었으며, 전체 교수와 학생들을 대상으로 무작위로 설문지를 배포한 결과 교수 109명과 학생 540명이 참여하였다. 요구분석 결과, 교수와 학생 모두 가상강좌의 편리성과 필요성에 대해서는 동의하였지만 가상강좌의 효과에 대해서는 회의적인 성향이 나타났다. 가상강좌가 효과적이지 못하다는 이유로는 가상강좌가 그 특성을 살린 적절한 방법으로 운영되지 못하여 상호작용과 의사소통에 많은 어려움이 있으며, 다양한 교수방법이나 교수자료가 활용되지 못하고 획일화된 강의 위주 방법이 사용되는 경향 때문인 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 대학에서 가상강좌의 활성화 필요성에 대해서는 대부분 인정을 하지만, 많은 교수들은 가상강좌 운영의 필요성에 부정적인 시각을 보였으며, 전체적으로 온라인 위주의 강의보다는 온라인과 오프라인 수업이 병행되는 형태를 선호하는 것을 발견했다. 가상강좌가 대학에서 제대로 정착하기 위해서는 무엇보다 강좌개발과 운영을 위한 인적자원의 지원, 가상강좌의 역할과 기능, 활용 방법에 대한 교수 연수가 우선되어야 함이 시사되었다. Cyber education differs from traditional education in many ways of teaching and learning, and the perception of users varies depending on the their experiences on modes and materials employed in the cyber education. In order to implement cyber education more effectively and efficiently at its beginning stage in university level, this study analyzed the degree of perception and satisfaction on cyber education as well as the problems and issues of cyber education based upon a survey. A needs analysis was conducted with two sets of questionnaires to one hundred nine professors and five hundred forty students of K university. The questionnaires consist of the types and methods of cyber lectures, the degree of satisfaction based upon their teaching and learning experiences through cyber education. It includes surveys on the professors' and students' opinions of the conditions required for implementing the successful operation of cyber lectures. The results of the study showed that although both professors and students agreed with the efficiency and needs of cyber education, they were reluctant to accept its effectiveness. The main reasons of the reluctancy appeared that cyber lecture was difficult to implement due to the lack of interactions and communication. However, it was also found that the cyber lectures applied by the professors were limited to mainly instructor-led lectures without using the mechanism and interaction of cyber education appropriately or using unique and various instructional methods and teaching materials properly. In the mode of cyber education, it was found that both the professors and students in overall preferred the blended type of cyber lectures to cyber lectures only. The professors especially suggested the necessity of the supports and training programs for implementing cyber education in their lectures.

      • 이차 전기영동을 이용한 프로테오믹 접근을 통한 정맥 압박이 혈장 프로테옴에 미치는 영향

        The human proteomics-based approaches, which examine the expressed proteins of a tissue or cell type, are increasingly being used. Venous occlusion is commonly employed for stimulating tissue-plasminogen activator (t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-l) release from venous endothelial cells, and this has been regarded as a parameter of the individual fibrinolytic capacity of plasma. The present work involved a detailed investigation of the plasma proteome and fibrinolytic activity in normal subjects, with the aim of determining whether correlations exist between various parameters of the fibhnolytic system before and after venous occlusion. We analyzed fibhnolytic parameters and plasma proteome before and after 15-min periods of venous occlusion in the forearm in 10 healthy 3rd-decade volunteers. Proteome analysis was performed using two-dimensional gels. The tryptic digests of some proteins were confirmed by MALDI-TOF and the MS-Fit algorithm. The fibrinolytic response as measured by the absolute amount of t-PA after venous occlusion was increased by venous occlusion (5.5 vs 9.6 ng/㎗, p<0.05), as was PAI-l (46.8 vs 56.1 ng/㎗, p<0.05). However, two-dimensional electrophoresis finding was virtually nonspecific and inconsistent after venous occlusion in healthy male subjects. Venous occlusion does not influence plasma proteome in healthy males. Although the fibhnolytic response to venous occlusion is attributed to an increase in free tUPA antigen, this change is not correlated with plasma proteome.

        This study was carried out to interpret hydraulic behavior and CO₂gas desorption in countercurrent packing tower which packed 50 mm plastic Hiflow-ring. The results are as follows: 1. To compare with conventional packing, 50mm Hiflow-ring could save energy because of low pressure drop under high load. 2. As relative error between calculated value and investigated value was less than 6% in the loading point and flooding point we found that we can predict results mathematically which occurres in the packing tower. 3. The unique magnituteds of packing which was used are as follows. C_(L) = 2.1×10^(-4), n = 0.787 so we can predict efficency which occurres.

        알쯔하이머병 환자의 뇌혈류 장애 : Statistical Parametric Mapping을 이용한 Tc-99m ECD SPECT 분석 Statistical Parametric Mapping analysis of Tc-99m ECD SPECT

        Background and Objectives . Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of the dementia Pathologic and functional changes of AD are known to be unevenly distributed in the brain. This study investigates changes of cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients with AD to determine brain regions with hypoperfusion that reflects progression of disease. Methods. Tc-99m-ECD single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) was performed to measure regional CBF and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) 99 soft ware was used for the automated and objective approach to analyze SPECT image data. Twenty-five patients with mild to moderate dementia who met NINCDS-ADRDA critena for AD (male 11 female 14) and 17 age-matched normal control subjects were studied. The severity of AD was measured by clinical dementia rating (CDR) scale Results. SPM analysis of SPECT images revealed that CBF in the anterior cingulate gyrus left superior panetal cortex left medial frontal cortex left infenor temporal cortex. right thalamus and left hippocampus was significantly decreased in AD patients compared with normal controls (corrected p<0.05). The reduction of CBF according to CDR was localized in the left hippocampus and infenor temporal cortex right antenor and postenor ciagulate cortex and right superior panetal cortex (uncorrected p<0.01). Conclusions : Our data suggest that the cognitive dysfunction of AD is strongly related with functional abnormality in discrete brain areas 99m-Tc ECD SPECT with SPM analysis could be used as a useful functional imaging tool in AD study.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

        Differential cross section of double-stripping nuclear reaction has been calculated with distorted wave Born approximation(DWBA) in ^40Ca(t.p)^42Ca reaction. The angular distribution shape of differential cross section shows large peak in forward. And it has small oscillation. It determines the angular momentum transfer and then the final state of the nucleus is predicted by the angular distribution. In the ^40Ca(t.p)^42Ca reaction, the angular momentum L of the transfered neutron pair from triton is equal to the total angular momentum of the final state nucleus ^42Ca and the parity of the final state is even.

        교합 거상 금관이 어린이 교합 발육에 미치는 영향

        혼합 치열기에서 유치의 탈락 및 영구치의 맹출 과정이 순조롭게 이루어지는 것은 중요한 일이다. 맹출 중인 치아는 인접치유무, 유치의 흡수속도, 유치의 조기상실, 만기잔존, 국소병소나 입술, 혀, 저작근 등의 다양한 요인들에 의해 영향 받을 수 있으며, 이러한 요소들 사이의 균형이 깨지게 되면 인접치 간의 관계가 변하고 심각한 부정교합이 초래될 수 있다. 본 증례는 유치열 및 혼합치열을 가진 어린이들에서 상하악 구치부 교합면에 접착된 교합 거상 금속 스플린트(bite raising metal splint)가 치열에 미친 영향에 대해 보여주고 있다. 이들은 스플린트로 인한 유치의 만기잔존으로 영구치 맹출에 방해를 받거나, 전치부 개방교합, 제 1대구치의 저위 맹출 등 혼합 치열기 발달에 큰 영향을 받고 있었다. 치료로써 고속 핸드피스를 이용하여 스플린트를 제거하고 주기적 점검을 통해 교합변화 및 영구치 맹출 양상을 관찰하였다. Children are in mixed dentition during 6 years after 3 years old. this time is very important for sound permanent dentition. There are many factors of influence to tooth eruption stage ; adjacent teeth, tooth resorption, early loss or retention of deciduous tooth, local lesion, lip and tongue, masticatory muscles, ect. These factors should be in balance, if not, relation of adjacent teeth is changed, then severe malocclusion is occurred maybe. These cases revealed influences of resin bonded metal splint on occlusal surface of children's molar to mixed dentition. Splints interfere with falling off of deciduous tooth, tooth eruption, normal occlusion formation, and development of mixed dentition and occlusion. Therefore we removed the metal splint from teeth, follow-up checked occlusion and tooth eruption.
