        약관절강내 천자술시 히알루산(Hyaluronic acid) 사용에 대한 임상적 연구

        To compare the effect of hyaluronate and dexamethasone on the temporomandibular joint arthrocentesis the author investigated 22 temporomandibular joint disorder(TMD) patients with pain and limitation of mouth opening who visited at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Chosun Dental Hospital and were made a diagnosis as Wilkes stage Ⅲ or Ⅳ of TMJ internal derangement clinically and radiographically. The two groups consisted of 10 patients with injection of sodium hyaluronte 10mg(Artz)(hyaluronate group) on the upper joint space of the affected temporomandibular joint 5 times at intervals of a week after arthrocentesis, and 12 patients with injection of dexamethasone(Oradexon) at a time(dexamethasone group). Maximum mouth opening, pain value and satisfaction value during mastication were assessed on a visual analog scale before arthrocentesis and after 6 months. Then the within-group and between-group differences were evaluated in the obtained data and the clinical success rate of each group was calculated according to our success criteria. The results were as follows. 1. the mean of maximum mouth opening before arthrocentesis and after 6 months in the hyaluronate group were 24.9mm and 39.0mm respectively, and those before arthrocentesis and after 6 months in the dexamethasone group were 25.7mm and 41.3mm respectively. 2. The mean of pain value on a visual analog scale in the hyaluronate group before arthrocentesis and after 6 months were 6.7 and 1.8 respectively, and those in the dexamethasone group before arthrocentesis and after 6 months were 7.0 and 1.8 respectively. 3. The mean of satisfaction value during mastication on a visual analog scale in the hyaluronate group before arthrocentesis and after 6 months were 2.8 and 7.7 respectively, and those in the dexamethasone group before arthrocentesis and after 6 months were 3.1 and 7.8 respectively. 4. There were statistically significant differences between all meansurements before arthrocentesis and after 6 months(P<0.001), but no difference between all meansurements in the hyaluronate group and those in the dexamethasone group. 5. The over all success rate of the hyaluronate group and the dexamethasone group were 60.0% and 63.6% respectively. In summary, there was significant difference between the effect of hyaluronate and dexamethasone on the temporomandibular joint arthrocentesis but hyaluronate is better than corticosteroid as the injection drug in consideration of the side effect related with repeated injection.

      • Pinus koraiensis와 Pinus parviflora의 樹高에 따른 氣孔數 變異에 關하여

        Stomata1 distribution in relation to the height of Pinus parviflora and Pinus koraiensis was studied 1. Stomata1 bands per needle of P parviflora and P koraiensis were 8.60±0.62 - 11.47±0.74, 14.07±1.03 - 16.60±0.99 and the number of stomata per band were 382.0±8.80 404.27±26.16, 1,326. 67±87.78 - 2,286.58±214.57, respectively 2. The number of stomatal band was significantly different between 3, 4m and 5, 6m in P parviflora and between 5, 6m and 7m in P. koraiensis Consequently, it is suggested that stomatal frequency gradient associated with increasing height above the ground is correlated with the greater degree of exposure to light.

      • 귀인성향과 실패경험에 대한 통제가능성 및 우울이 자살생각에 미치는 영향

        The aim of this study as a short-term section research on the subject of the boy's and girl's high school students is to verify how a attributional style, a depression after failure, and the controllability of failure contribute to judging the suicidal ideation and how the seriousness of the suicidal ideation is forecasted and explained. To explain the failure experience in the academic achievement situation manipulatively, I examine ASQ, MAACL and estimated grade before term examination, define the Stutents who obtain lower grade than the estimated grade as failure group, meassure MAACL, test of controllability, suicidal ideation and seriousness and then execute t-test, discriminant analysis and multiple regression. The conclusions of this study are as follows ; Firstly, as a result of verifying a difference between groups of research variables by dividing them into failure and success group in the academic achievement situations, there are no differences among other variables, but the failure group are more seized with depression significantly than the success group in the score of MAACL 2 (P<.05). Secondly, 59.6% of the total sample groups have experienced a suicidal ideation in the percentage of suicidal ideation experience and so the seriousness of the suicide, but there are little differences of the suicidal ideation experience and its seriousness between sexes. Thirdly, as the result of executing the discriminant analysis of each variable of a suicidal ideation, the depression and the globality of the attributional style make the greatest contribution to judging the suicidal ideation. Forthly, the depression and the internal-external version and the stability of attributional style make a contribution to forecasting the seriousness of a suicidal ideation among groups which have experienced the suicidal ideation.

      • Ti첨가 및 균질화 처리가 원심주조한 Cu-Zn-Al계 고력황동의 기계적 성질에 미치는 영향

        Effects of Ti addition and homogenizing treatment on the mechanical properties in Cu-Zn-Al system high strength brass were investigated. Grain refinement was successfully achieved by Ti addition: The microstructure, which was composed of island or fine feather-like branched Ti compounds was changed to feather-like eutectic microstructure as the content of Ti increased. The highest hardness values was obtained for 0.5wt% Ti specimen and the second was Ti non-added specimen in as-cast conditions. Maximum tensile strength was obtained for 0.5wt% Ti specimen. Dueing to the presence of cast defects and worse castability, tensile strength decreased as the content of Ti increased. Elongation was increased with increasing homogenizing time and temperature: remarkable increase was obtained for 400℃ homogenizing temperature in the 0.5wt% Ti specimen. For 500℃ and 600℃ homogenizing temperature, high elongation was obtained in 2 and 4wt% Ti specimen.

        Stearic acid was deposited on surface of 9[MHz], AT-cut quartz crystal microbalance as gas sensing material using Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) technique. We measured gas response between deposited LB films and organic gas for special temperature(0, 25, 50, 80℃). The resonant frequency changed due to absorbance of organic gas such as methanol, ethanol, propanol and butanol gas at special temperature. As a result, the resonant frequency responded to organic gas at 0, 25 [℃]. but, the resonant frequency almost not responded to organic gas at 50, 80[℃].

        생물검정법을 이용한 하수슬러지 장기연용 토양의 독성평가

        생물검정법에 의한 토양 내 독성평가의 유용성을 확인하기 위해 두 종류의 하수슬러지를 7년간 연용한 토양을 Microtox^(?) 생물검정법과 상추종자 뿌리 신장법을 사용하여 독성을 평가하였다. 이 방법들은 하수오니의 종류나 시용량에 따른 토양의 독성 정도를 잘 평가 할 수 있었다. 상추종자 뿌리 신장법은 특별한 장비나 복잡한 처리 없이도 유의성 있는 결과를 구할 수 있었고 Microtox^(?) 검정법은 전반적으로 재현성과 감도에서 유의성이 있었으며 또한 유기화합물에 대한 종합적인 평가도 가능하였다. 하수오니와 같이 다양한 화합물이 혼재되어 있는 유기성 자원의 토양 시용시 기존의 제한된 화학성분의 토양 분석법만으로는 독성평가에 한계가 있고 또 개별적으로는 별 영향이 없더라도 여러 화합물이 복합적으로 존재할 때 나타나는 독성작용에 대한 평가는 더욱이 어렵다. 그러므로 이러한 영향을 종합적으로 평가할 수 있는 생물검정법이 토양의 독성 평가에서 화학분석법을 보완하는 평가방법으로서의 중요성은 충분하다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 생물독성법의 유용성을 높이기 위해서는 생물검정법의 시료 추출방법 개선과 실험의 재현성을 높이기 위한 노력이 필요하리라 생각된다. 따라서 이런 생물검정법의 많은 제약에도 불구하고 환경의 종합적인 평가에 있어서 생물검정법의 중요성은 대단히 크며 직접적으로 생물을 이용하는 방법뿐만 아니라 유전독성 평가 방법 등 다양한 방법들이 환경독성 평가에 응용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. Bioassay was employed to assess toxicity of soil which had been treated with sewage sludges for seven years. The Microtox^(?) and root elongation test of lettuce (Lactuca Saliva) elucidated that the intensity of soil toxicity was closely related with the types and amount of sewage sludges applied. Both bioassay methods proved to be useful in an assessment of soil toxicity and were consistent to some extent with the conventional chemical analysis methods. EC_(50) values resulted from Microtox^(?) were highly correlated with concentration of heavy metals in soils amended with sewage sludges : Cu (r²= 0.86^(**)), Cr (r²= 0.84^(**)), Ni (r²= 0.83^(**)), and Zn (r²= 0.69^(**)). This demonstrated that both bioassay techniques could be employed as tools for soil toxicity assessment when the soil was exposed to solid wastes such as sewage sludge.

        The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the response of Precast Prestressed Concrete Interior Wide Beam-Column Joint subjected to cyclic lateral loading. To this end, the experimental investigation was performed with six half-scale specimens of interior connection. The design parameters are the beam to column depth ratio, and the number of tendons within column core. One of the specimens, IJH-6, is modeled for the connection at the top floor of a structure. The test results showed that the specimens sufficiently resist up to limiting drift ratio of 0.035 in accordance with the provisional standard by ACI of acceptance criteria for concrete special moment frames.

        During the aircraft conceptual design phase, rapid aerodynamic analyses over various configurations are required. Hence, empirical and analytic techniques play important roles in estimating the aerodynamic characteristics. In this study, the aerodynamic characteristic estimation technique for transonic region based on empirical and analytical is developed. By comparing with the results of the wind tunnel experiment and existing prediction method, it is verified that the present method is accurate and useful.

        Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

        자가부식 프라이머 접착제의 적용방식이 법랑질의 결합강도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of passive or active application of primer and coat times of bond on the shear bond strength when a self-etching primer adhesive (Clearfil SE Bond) was applied to enamel surface. Crowns of sixteen human molars were selected. Buccal and lingual enamels of crowns were partially exposed and slabs of 1.2 mm thick were made. They were divided into one of four equal groups (n = 8). Group 1: passive application of Primer and 1 coat of Bond, Group 2: active application of Primer and 1 coat of Bond, Group 3: passive application of Primer and 2 coats of Bond, Group 4: active application of Primer and 2 coats of Bond. Clearfil AP-X was bonded to enamel suface of each group using Tygon tubes. The bonded specimens were subjected to microshear bond strength (uSBS) testing with a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The uSBS of Group 1 was the lowest among groups and the uSBS of Group 4 was the highest. 2. There was not statistically significant interaction between enamel uSBS by application method of Primer and coat time of Bond (p > 0.05). 3. There was not statistically significant difference between enamel uSBS by passive and active application of Primer (p > 0.05). 4. There was statistically significant difference between enamel uSBS by one- and two-coat of Bond (p < 0.05). 이 연구는 Clearfil SE Bond를 거친 법랑질 표면에 적용할 때, 자가부식 프라이머의 적용방식 (능동적인 또는 수동적인)과 접착레진의 도포회수 (1회 또는 2회)가 법랑질의 결합강도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 시행하였다. 16개의 발거된 대구치 치관의 협면이나 설면에서 법랑질 절편을 만들어 4개의 군으로 배정한 다음, 1군은 프라이머를 수동적으로 적용한 후 접착레진을 1회 도포하였고, 2군은 프라이머를 능동적으로 적용한 후 접착레진을 1회 도포하였고, 3군은 프라이머를 수동적으로 적용한 후 접착레진을 2회 도포하였고, 4군은 프라이머를 능동적으로 적용한 후 접착레진을 2회 도포하였다. 적용된 접착레진을 10초간 광조사한 후, 법랑질 표면에 2-3개의 Tygon tube를 위치시키고 Clearfil AP-X를 충전하고 40초간 광조사 하였다. Universal testing machine을 이용하여 법랑질 표면에서 복합레진이 파절될 까지 분당 1.0 mm의 cross-head speed로 전단하중을 가하고 통계적으로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 거친 법랑질에 대한 Clearfil SE Bond의 미세전단 결합강도는 자가부식 프라이머의 적용방식 보다는 접착레진의 도포회수에 의해 증가할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
