Bio-based epoxy resins with an ultrahigh glass transition temperature (Tg) and excellent flame retardancy are critical for developing sustainable polymers. Herein, a novel trifunctional epoxy monomer triglycidyl ether of resveratrol (TGER) was synthesized from renewable resveratrol. The chemical structure of TGER was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), ¹H, and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy which was then reacted with 4,4’-diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM) to form resin. The obtained resin was evaluated in terms of flame retardance and thermal properties. The resultant TGER-DDM 240 resin shows excellent flame-retardant properties, presenting a residual char of 42.5% at 800 ℃, limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 31.2%, and flammability rating of V-0 in UL94 test. Moreover, the resin possesses an ultrahigh Tg at 294 ℃. This work provides a facile method for preparing high-performance flame-retardant epoxy resin from a renewable resource.
Incorporating Bidirectional Heuristic Search and Improved ACO in Route Planning
Guangming Xiong,Xiaoyun Li,Shuai Zhou,Hao Lu,Yan Jiang,Jianwei Gong 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.7
A multi-objective multi-node dynamic route planning system for a vehicle is presented in this paper. In this system, a bidirectional heuristic search algorithm is designed to perform path planning between two nodes in a topological map created by OpenStreetMap for urban scenarios. And then an improved multi-objective Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm considering the timeliness of goal nodes is proposed to generate the node sequence. Experimental results validated the proposed approach.
Direct Determination of Uric Acid in Human Serum Samples Using Polypyrrole Nanoelectrode Ensembles

Polypyrrole (PPy) nanotubes have been synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole within the pores of polycarbonate membrane using the technology of diffusion of solutes. The nanotubes array prepared by the proposed method can be considered as nanoelectrode ensembles (NEEs). An amperometric uric acid sensor based on PPy NEEs has been developed and used for determination of uric acid in human serum samples. The electrode can direct response to uric acid at potential of 0.60V vs. SCE with wide linear range of 1.52×10-6 to 1.54×10-3 M. The detection limit is 3.02×10-7 M. This sensor has been used to determine uric acid in real serum samples. PPy NEEs is thought of as a good application in the foreground.

Superhydrophobic and smart MgAl-LDH anti-corrosion coating on AZ31 Mg surface
Manyi Huang,Guangming Lu,Jibin Pu,Yujie Qiang 한국공업화학회 2021 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.103 No.-
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) have been widely used as ‘‘smart” containers in the field of metal corrosionprotection, and have broad industrial prospects. It is environmentally friendly and feasible to usealiphatic carboxylates and corresponding acids as substitutes for harmful corrosion inhibitors. However, previous studies rarely involved comparing the anti-corrosion mechanisms of different aliphatic acidsmodified on the LDH surface, and the durability of the prepared coatings also needs to be improved. Inthis work, MgAl-LDH laminates were grown in situ on AZ31 substrates by a hydrothermal method, and then modified by sodium laurate (SL) and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS). Due to the physicalbarrier effect of the LDH layers, the spatial repulsion effect of the air film and the ion exchange reactionsin the interlayer galleries, the functional coatings prepared exhibit smart and superior anticorrosionperformance on the magnesium substrates in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. Compared with LDHSDBS-8 coating, the obtained superhydrophobic LDH-SL-8 coating shows more excellent long-term corrosionprotection owing to the stronger intercalation capacity.

A method of calculating the failure probability of the tunnel system combining finite element numerical simulation with multiple response surface method (MRSM) and Monte-Carlo simulation (MCS) is presented. The applicability of the proposed methodology is verified through a subway interval soft rock tunnel in Qingdao, China. The sensitivity of Monte-Carlo sampling number and coefficients of variation for rock masses on the failure probability of tunnel system is conducted. The primary failure modes in tunnel system are identified by reanalyzing the failure samples. The simulation results demonstrate that the failure probability of a tunnel system within soft upper and hard lower surrounding rock mass is mainly attributed to the soft upper part of the surrounding rock. The coefficients of variation of the elastic modulus E1 and the internal friction angle ϕ1 of the pebble layer (soft upper part) have significant effect on the failure probability. The failure probability of tunnel system increases as the coefficients of variation of E1 and ϕ1 increase. Two primary failure modes are found to contribute to the tunnel system reliability. The effect of rock bolt length L and pipe-roof thickness H on tunnel system reliability and two primary failure modes as well are investigated. The simulation results indicate that both the enhancements in L and H tend to be more effective than the enhancement in either L or H if a small target failure probability of tunnel system is expected. The supporting structures design can be performed based on the potential sets of (L, H) satisfying target failure probability.

Purpose Oligometastatic non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients have been increasingly regarded as a distinct group that could benefit from local treatment to achieve a better clinical outcome. However, current definitions of oligometastasis are solely numerical, which are imprecise because of ignoring the biological heterogeneity caused by genomic characteristics. Our study aimed to profile the molecular alterations of oligometastatic NSCLC and elucidate its potential difference from polymetastasis. Materials and Methods We performed next-generation sequencing to analyze tumors and paired peripheral blood from 77 oligometastatic and 21 polymetastatic NSCLC patients to reveal their genomic characteristics and assess the genetic heterogeneity. Results We found ERBB2, ALK, MLL4, PIK3CB, and TOP2A were mutated at a significantly lower frequency in oligometastasis compared with polymetastasis. EGFR and KEAP1 alterations were mutually exclusive in oligometastatic group. More importantly, oligometastasis has a unique significant enrichment of apoptosis signaling pathway. In contrast to polymetastasis, a highly enriched COSMIC signature 4 and a special mutational process, COSMIC signature 14, were observed in the oligometastatic cohort. According to OncoKB database, 74.03% of oligometastatic NSCLC patients harbored at least one actionable alteration. The median tumor mutation burden of oligometastasis was 5.00 mutations/Mb, which was significantly associated with smoking, DNA damage repair genes, TP53 mutation, SMARCA4 mutation, LRP1B mutation, ABL1 mutation. Conclusion Our results shall help redefine oligometastasis beyond simple lesion enumeration that will ultimately improve the selection of patients with real oligometastatic state and optimize personalized cancer therapy for oligometastatic NSCLC.
