        치차로스의 <시적인 순간> 중 ‘철새’, ‘블루스 왈츠’, ‘나비 래그타임’, ‘서부기차’ 분석 및 교수법적 제안

        치차로스(Christos Tsitsaros, b. 1961)는 미국 일리노이 대학교의 피아노 교수학과 교수이며, 피아노 교육용 작품을 많이 작곡하였다. 본 논문은 국내에 잘 알려지지 않은 그의 작품에 대한 정보를 제공하고 한정된 레퍼토리의 선택지를 넓히는데 기여하고자 그의 교육용 피아노 작품인 <시적인 순간>에 나타난 음악적 특징을 살펴보았으며, 중급 학생들에게 효과적인 교수방법을 제시하였다. <시적인 순간>은 총 8곡으로 구성되어있으며 이 중 ‘철새’, ‘블루스 왈츠’, ‘나비 래그타임’, ‘서부기차’를 살펴보았다. ‘철새’는 편안하고 서정적이며 아르페지오와 당김음 페달 교육에 효과적이다. ‘블루스 왈츠’는 불분명한 조성감으로 몽환적 분위기를 자아내며 리듬적 유연함을 배울 수 있다. ‘나비 래그타임’은 스윙 리듬과 다양한 아티큘레이션의 표현을 공부할 수 있다. ‘서부기차’는 빠르고 긴장감을 유발하는 곡으로 다양한 페달의 사용을 습득할 수 있다. 이 곡들은 길이가 짧고 단순하며, 다양한 음악양식과 재즈적인 요소를 지니고 있어 중급 학생들이 흥미롭게 학습할 수 있다. 본 논문을 통해 더 많은 교육용 레퍼토리가 확대되고 그의 교육용 피아노 작품들에 대한 관심과 연구가 이어지길 기대한다. Christos Tsitsaros(b. 1961) is a Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL in the United States, and has composed many educational piano pieces. On the purpose of providing information on his compositions, which are not well known in Korea, and contributing to expand educational piano repertoire, this article examines the musical features of his < Poetic Moments > and suggests effective teaching methods for intermediate level students. < Poetic Moment > consists of a total of 8 character pieces: ‘Migrating Birds’, ‘Blues Valsette’, ‘Butterfly Rag’, and ‘Westbound Train’ among them were investigated. ‘Migrating Birds’ is easy to listen, lyrical and effective for polishing arpeggio skills and syncopated pedaling. ‘Blues Valsette’ creates a dreamy atmosphere with complex harmonies and students may learn rhythmic flexibility. ‘Butterfly Rag’ employs swing rhythm and diverse articulations. ‘Westbound Train’ has fast running tempo increasing tension and good for learning various pedaling. Each piece is short and simple attracting intermediate level students’ interest by conveying various musical styles and jazz elements. Through this article, I hope that more educational repertoire will be expanded and interest and research on Tsitsaros’ educational piano compositions will continue.

        그림책과 삶 예술교육

        본 연구는 그림책과 예술교육의 통합과 관련하여, 그림책과 예술교육이 어떤 지점에서 만날 수 있는지 그 지향점을 찾아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 먼저 예술에 대한 관점의 변화와 관련된 예술교육에 대한 새로운 방향으로서의 삶예술교육을 살펴보았다. 그리고 그림책이라는 매체가 어떻게 예술교육과 접목될 수 있는지를 살펴보고자 다양한 예술 장르들 사이에서의 그림책의 위치를 표상양식의 관점, 매체 구성의 관점, 인지처리방식의 관점으로 분석하였다. 그 다음에는 최근에 출간된 그림책들에서 발견되는 독특성과 변화의 양상들을 분석함으로써 그림책의 장르적 변화의 특성들이 어떻게 예술교육과 융합 될 수 있는지를 그림의 예술성, 심층심리의 서술, 새로운 구성형식의 출현, 주제의 회복, 독자 확장의 관점에서 차례로 고찰해 보았다. 마지막으로 그림책과 예술교육에 대한 통합적 지향점으로 진정한 삶의 관점에서의 그림책과 삶예술교육에 대하여 논의하였다. This paper sets out to explore the right point and direction for integration between picturebook and art education. For this purpose, the places of picturebook genre were firstly identified by various perspectives such as representational mode, media formation, cognitive processing style among other art area. Secondly, new characteristics and evolutionary trends were examined in picturebooks recently published one. The analysis were executed in terms of artistic value of illustration, deep structure of narratives, unexpectancy of story construction, recovery of theme, and extended reader in turn. Through this considerations, some important were suggested into applying art education with picturebook. Finally, integration of picturebook and art education were discussed with the respect to LifeArt education perspective.

        그림책 치료의 새로운 접근 : 그림책 몸으로 읽기와 첫그림책 찾기

        This paper aims to suggest the new therapeutic approach through picturebook. For this purpose, the concepts of extended cognition and circular causality were implemented to explain the relationship between human and picturebook. Re-reading picturebook with body and finding priming-picturebook were introduced to the participants as the concrete methodologies in this study. Re-reading picturebook with body implies on making a feeling and perceiving something for the participants from their sensory-motor organs. It was the way that encouraged them to use enactive representational mode as well as requested them to inhibit use of their symbolic representational modes while they were reading picturebook. As the result, the participants were finally found their own priming-picturebook through re-reading picturebook with their sensory-motor. And through the process, they recognized new text they made by themselves. The text was different from the original text in their priming picturebook. There were some core emotions and problems of their life in the new text. Through this considerations, some implications were discussed with the respect to finding priming-picturebook therapy as well as re-reading picturebook with body. 본 논문은 그림책의 독서치료적 활용에 있어 '그림책 몸으로 읽기'와 '첫그림책 찾기'라는 새로운 접근과 방법을 탐색 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 '그림책 몸으로 다시 읽기'는 인간의 표상 양식 발달에 있어 가장 근원적인 감각과 동작표상 양식으로의 다시 읽기를 의미하는 동시에 상위 표상양식인 상징표상 양식으로의 읽기, 논리적 합리적 방식으로 그림책 읽기를 억제하는 방식이다. 이는 인지과학의 체화된 마음 개념과 몸의 철학, 인지심리학의 개념들을 기초로 제시하는 새로운 그림책 읽기 방식이다. 내담독자들은 그림책을 몸으로 다시 읽는 경험을 통해 자신에게 가장 강력한 몸의 감각과 정서를 불러일으키는 첫그림책을 찾게 된다. 그리고 자신이 찾은 첫그림책을 반복해서 몸으로 읽는 과정을 통해 첫그림책의 원문 이야기 텍스트(source text)와 병행하는 자신만의 새로운 텍스트(constructive text)를 구성하게 된다. 내담독자는 그렇게 자신이 새로 구성한 텍스트 안에서 이전에는 의식하지 못했거나 혹은 외면해 왔던 삶의 핵심 감정과 갈등을 확인하고 이를 통해 성장과 변화 치유의 과정을 경험하게 된다. 그것이 미래에 새롭게 재구성(reconstructing text) 될 자신만의 원천 이야기임을 확인하게 된다.

      • 남자 중학생의 식품 중량과 열량을 중심으로 한 영양교육 효과에 관한 연구

        This study was planned to suggest countermeasure of nutrition education by investigating adolescents, dietary behavior, food weight, and acknowledgement of food calories. 210 middle school boys were selected and asked to fill out the questionnaire. The subjects were divided by nutrition education experience; 1st grade who received nutrition session and 3rd grade who divided subjects. In terms of acknowledgement of food calories subjects nutrition education experience had more recognition for calories than the other group(p<0.01). When one bowl of rice, a potato, a bowel of kimchi and a carrot were asked. However recognition for meats, fishes and eggs were not different between two groups. Among milk and dairy foods the educated group showed high recognition both calories and weight of a piece of cheese than the other(p<0.05). The educated group showed better recognition for calories and weight of tea-spoon of butter, a tea spoon of oil and a tea-spoon of mayonaise, compared to the other group(p<0.01, p<0.05, p<0.05). Also the educated group showed better recognition for calories and weight of a packet of shrimp snack than the other group. The results of this study suggest that nutrition education improved the recognition of calories and weights of foods in study subjects. Also, the number of foods recognized for their calories and weights was higher among subjects who received nutrition education. These results will influence the choice the food by adolescents. Also the nutrition education are thought to be more effective by using photographs or food models, not just by lectures on theories.

        대학생의 의류쇼핑성향과 청바지 구매 시 점포선택

        The purposes of this study were to classify shopper types based on clothing shopping orientations and to identify the differences in store selection criteria and demographic characteristics by shopper types. The questionnaire was administered to female and male undergraduate and graduate students living in Seoul. Of 330 returned questionnaires, 319 were used in the statistical analysis which were factor analysis, cluster analysis, x²-test, and One-way ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Clothing shopping orientations had six factors: recreational shopping, name conscious shopping, economic shopping, fashion oriented shopping, convenience shopping, and individualistic shopping. Cluster analysis identified that clothing shopping orientations had four groups: recreational cluster, individualistic cluster, demanding shopper cluster, and convenient brand conscious shopper cluster. 2) Clothing shopping orientations were significantly different in relation to the demographic characteristics such as gender, major field of study, expenditure on clothing, pocket money, and family income level. 3) Store selection criteria had five factors: service quality, physical store environment, sales personnel, shopping convenience, and other attractions. 4) There were significant differences in physical store environment, shopping convenience, and other attractions according to the shopper clusters.

        황사 기간 동안에 어린이, 성인, 노인에서의 자각증상과 예방행동에 대한 조사연구

        Purpose: Recently there are scientific evidences for the health effects of Asian dust-storms. Particularly in 2002, the daily average of PM_(10) exceeded 600 and 700 ㎍/㎥ in March and April respectively. We examined the effects of Asian dust-storms on perceived symptoms and preventive behaviors among children, adults, and elders. Method: The subjects of this study were 425 children, 444 adults and 60 elders. A questionnaire survey was carried out on the children and the adults by teachers and on the elders by interviewers to obtain information on demographic variables, perceived symptoms and preventive behaviors, previous respiratory disease, environmental tobacco smoke, and proximity between the house and the road during Asian dust-storms. We analyzed using descriptive statistics, X_(2) test and multiple logistic regression models. After adjustment for potential confounders, we estimated the odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals of the children and the elders for perceived symptoms and preventive behaviors. Result: The elders had a significantly higher prevalence of respiratory symptoms than the other groups. The children had a significantly higher prevalence than the adults in getting URI (1.51), coughing (1.68), rhinorrhea (1.46), fever (2.39) and medication for allergy or asthma (1.90). The children had better behaviors than the elders in closing windows (3.57), taking less outdoor recreational activity (2.59) and staying home (2.60).

        영·유아 언어, 인지, 사회·정서 발달 평가도구 문항 개발을 위한 예비연구

        본 연구는 만 2~5세 영·유아의 발달 상태를 객관적으로 평가함과 동시에 발달이 지연된 영·유아를 선별할 수 있는 발달평가도구 문항을 개발하기 위한 예비연구이다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰 및 발달관련 평가도구들을 비교 분석하여 발달지표를 선정하고, 만 2세~5세까지의 영·유아의 언어, 인지, 사회·정서발달영역을 교사관찰에 기초하여 평가할 수 있는 문항을 개발하였다. 연구대상은 대도시, 중소도시, 읍면 소재지 별로 표집 된 만 2세부터 5세까지 총 13개 유아교육기관에 다니는 435명의 영·유아들이며, 본 연구에서 최종 개발된 평가도구의 문항은 총 141문항이다. 평가도구 문항은 언어, 인지, 사회·정서발달영역별로 영·유아의 행동과 언어를 중심으로 교사가 관찰하고, 관찰하기 어려운 문항에 대해서는 단서와 kit를 제시하여 평가할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 개발된 평가도구 문항의 적절성을 알아보기 위하여 내용 타당도와 내적 신뢰도를 살펴본 결과 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다. This was a preliminary study to construct a developmental rating scale for understanding children's objective developmental levels and screening developmental disabilities. For this purpose, a developmental indicator was selected by a literature review and comparative analysis of related developmental assessment tests. An assessment scale based on teacher's observations to measure language, recognition, and social-emotional developmental areas was developed. The subjects were 435 young children aged 2 to 5 who lived in both urban and rural areas. A trial test consisted of 141 assessment items in the language, recognition, and social-emotional developmental domains. The developmental scale was evaluated by teachers who observed children's behavior and language, and used clues and kits. Tests on validity and reliability for confirming the appropriateness of the developed assessment scale showed that content was relatively valid and internally consistent.

      • 프리셉터 경험이 간호업무수행과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate how preceptor experience has an effect upon preceptor nurses. This study was so designed that it could compare the difference between clinical performance and Job satisfaction of preceptor nurses and those of nonpreceptor nurses. Study subjects were sampled out from those nurses who worked with two university hospitals where preceptor programs were implemented. The number of subjects totaled to 134, including 69 preceptor nurses and 70 nonpreceptor nurses. The score of preceptor nurses' clinical performance and job satisfaction revealed a higher value than that of nonpreceptor nurses. A similar result was also shown in the subdomains. However these difference were not statistically significant. Among all of the preceptor nurses, the highest number of preceptor experience was just one time. Except for five times in preceptor experience, the more the number of times of preceptor experience, the higher score in clinical performance. It was manifested that the number of preceptor experience was not related to job satisfaction. The score of preceptor nurses' clinica1 performance and job satisfaction revealed a higher value than that of nonpreceptor nurses. A similar result was also shown in the subdomains. However these difference were not statistically significant. The reward that preceptor nurses wished most was a reduction of the work load assigned to them. Currently preceptor nurses are only receiving a small quantity of financial reward related with their preceptor role. Most of preceptor nurses (96.8%) were not satisfied with their existing reward. Almost half of the preceptor nurses(43.5%) did not want to play a role as preceptor again. The reason why the scores of clinical performance and job satisfaction were low might be attributed to the inadequate preceptor training program and reward system. Appropriate knowledge and clinical skill are expected to enhance the level of preceptor nurses' clinical performance and appropriate internal and external reward to elevate the level of preceptor nurses' Job satisfaction. Therefore, it is needed for us to develop more effective preceptor education program, financial reward, support of colleague nurses and nursing managers, and adjust workload for the purpose of more effective preceptor programs.

      • 정서유발단어에 대한 주의이동시 뇌신경망의 활성 양상

        본 연구는 fMRI를 사용하여 정서유발단어에 의한 주의이동과 관련한 뇌신경망을 규명하기 위하여 12명의 오른손잡이 여대생을 대상으로 수행하였다. fMRI 실험을 위한 뇌활성화 과제는 예비실험을 통하여 선정된 행복, 슬픔, 위협에 해당하는 각각 36개씩의 단어와 각 단어의 짝을 이루기 위한 중성단어를 이용하여 변형된 Posner 패러다임을 블록디자인으로 고안하였다. fMRI 영상은 1.5T Simens Vision scanner를 사용하여 실시하였으며, single-shot EPI 기법으로(TR/TE:3840/40ms, flip angle: 90, FOV: 220, 64x64 matrix, Slice thickness: 6mm) 이미지를 얻었고 피험자의 반응시간을 기록하였다. 자료분석은 SPM-99 소프트웨어를 사용하였다. 정서유발단어는 중성단어에 비하여 반응시간이 의미있게 빨라 효과적인 주의이동이 일어났음을 알 수 있었다. 정서유발단어와 중성단어에 의한 뇌활성화 상태를 감산분석한 결과, 좌측 상두정엽, 양측 후두엽 및 소뇌에서 뇌활성화를 보였고, 이들 영역은 정서유발단어에 의한 주의이동시 특징적으로 활성이 일어나는 뇌영역임을 보여주었다. 또한 여러 가지 정서가를 가진 단어에 의해 유발되는 주의의 정도가 특징적인 신경망의 활성과 관련되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to delineate the neural network related to the shift of attention and its modulation by emotion-provoking words using functional MRI (fMRI). Twelve right-handed normal female volunteers participated in fMRI study. Their mean age was 24 years and the mean modified Edinburgh score was +90. Emotion-provoking words representing happy, sad, threatened, and neutral emotional valences respectively were chosen by the assessment of 60 normal volunteers using semantic differentiation and Mannequin scales. The activation tasks were designed using modified Posner's paradigm to have 4 blocks of each emotional and control periods, Imaging was conducted on a 1.5T Siemens Vision scanner. Single-shot echoplanar images (TR/TE = 3840/40 ms, flip angle = 90, FOV = 220, matrix = 62 ? 64, slice thickness = 6㎜) were acquired in 20 contiguous slices parallel to the AC_PC line as well as conventional T1-weighted images. Response times were obtained during the scanning, Imaging data were realigned, coregistered, normalized, smoothed, and statistically analyzed in group using SPM-99 software. The results showed that emotional valence of word stimuli produced the effect of attentional engagement. The left superior parietal, inferior frontal, bilateral occipital lobes and cerebellum were main area of modulation of attentional network by emotional words stimuli. The different extent of brain activation induced by different emotion-provoking words were determined.
