        In this paper, VHF(30~230[MHz]) electromagnetic waves radiated from partial discharge(PD) at two-type electrodes in air are measured and the peculiar patterns of their spectra are reported. Also, the polarization and distance characteristics of electromagnetic wave radiated by PD, were investigated. In case the epoxy insulator in inserted, the noise level of radiated electromagnetic waves is 0.6~6.2[dB] higher than the case in air at below 90[MHz]. The frequency spectrum distribution of radiated electromagnetic waves appears different in the whole frequency range according to the arrangement of antenna.

        분자선 에피탁시법으로 성장된 Al0.25Ga0.75As / In0.15Ga0.85As / GaAs 슈우도형 고 전자 이동도 트랜지스터 구조의 광학적 특성

        Photoluminescence(PL)와 photoreflectance(PR}를 이용하여 Al_(0.25)Ga_(0.75)As/In_(0.15)Ga_(0.85)As/GaAs 슈우도형 고 전자 이동도 트랜지스터 구조에 대한 특성을 조사 하였다. 온도 10 K의 PL 측정에서 InGaAs 양자우물에 의한 e2-h1 및 e2-h1 전이 피크가 각각 1.322 및 1.397 eV에서 관측되었다. 온도 의존성으로부터 첫번째 가전자 띠와 두번째 가전자 띠의 에너지 차이는 약 23 meV로 나타났다. 또한 300 K에서의 PR 측정으로 e2-h2 및 e2-h1 전이에 의한 피크를 관측하였고, 두번째 전도 띠의 에너지 준위에 의한 피크가 띠 채움으로 인해 첫번째 전도 띠의 에너지 준위에 의한 피크보다 상대적으로 우세하였다. 반면에 PL 측정에서는 전자 가리개 효과 때문에 첫번째 전도 띠에 의한 피크가 우세하였다. We have analyzed characteristics for the structure of Al_(0.25)Ga_(0.75)As / In_(0.15)Ga_(0.85)As/GaAs pseudo-morphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) by photoluminescence (PL) and photoreflectance (PR) measurements. By the PL measurement at 10 K, we observed e1-h1 transition peak at 1.322 eV and e2-h1 transition peak at 1.397 eV in the InGaAs quantum well. We calculated value of 23 meV, the difference between the first energy level and the second energy level of a valence band by dependence of temperatures. Also, (e2-h2) transition signal was observed at 300 K by PR measurement. From the PR measurement, we recognized that the transition was dominated the second energy level of conduction band than the first energy level of conduction band due to band filling. The other hand, PL signal of the first energy level of conduction band was dominated because of the electron screening effect.

        돼지 고기의 아나볼릭 스테로이드가 Myogenic Satellite Cell의 증식과 분화에 미치는 영향

        성호르몬은 근육의 발달(아나볼릭 효과)에 관여하는 것으로 잘 알려져 왔으며 인체의 치료제로 넓게 사용되고 있다. 돼지고기에는 주로 성선(정소와 난소)에서 생산되어 고기에 축적된 다양한 아나볼릭 효과를 나타내는 성호르몬이 많이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 돼지고기에 존재하는 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출하여 근육세포의 증식과 분화에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 돼지의 각 조직으로부터 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출하는 3가지 방법(M1, M2, M3)을 개발하였다. 3가지 모든 추출방법에서 아나볼릭 스테로이드가 추출되었으며 특히 M3에서 조직 1g당 가장 많은 양을 획득할 수 있었다. M3를 이용하여 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출했을 때 돼지고기의 근육과 지방에서는 스테로이드 호르몬 양이 수컷에서 가장 높았고, 혈청에서는 nandrolone 과 testosterone의 양은 수컷에서 가장 높았으며, estrone와 $17{\beta}$-estradiol의 양은 비슷하였다. 근육세포 증식은 돼지 아나볼릭 스테로이드의 농도 의존적으로 촉진되었으며, M3에서 가장 빠르게 증식되었다. 근육세포의 분화는 추출된 아나볼릭 스테로이드 처리구가 대조구보다 더 효과적으로 분화가 잘 되는 것을 세포 모양과 유전자(AR, myoD, desmin, myogenin)를 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 M3에서 추출된 아나볼릭 스테로이드에서 myogenin과 AR 유전자가 유의적으로 높게 발현되었다(p<0.001). 전체적으로 돼지의 아나볼릭 스테로이드는 근육세포의 성장과 분화를 촉진하였다. 따라서 돼지고기에 있는 아나볼릭 스테로이드의 섭취를 통해 인체 근육의 성장과 발달에 긍정적 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Sex steroids are known to be involved in skeletal muscle development (anabolic effect) and are frequently used in medicines. It has been known that pork contains a variety of steroids that are mainly synthesized in the gonads (testis and ovary). Thus, the present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of anabolic steroids of pork on the proliferation and differentiation of myogenic satellite cells (MSC). Three different methods (M1, M2, and M3) were developed for the isolation and purification of steroids from porcine tissues. Among three extraction methods that we developed, M3 was the best method with respect to the quantities of steroids and the induction of MSC proliferation. Hormonal analysis showed that the steroid hormone levels were the highest in muscle and fat of intact male than those of castrated males and females. In addition, the highest serum levels of nandrolone and testosterone were detected in intact males, whereas estrone and $17{\beta}$-estradiol levels were similar in the entire experimental serum samples. Expression of androgen receptor (AR), myoD, desmin, and myogenin in bovine muscle cells were significantly up-regulated by the treatment of steroid extracts. The highest increas of myogenin and AR mRNA abundance were observed in the MSCs treated with M3 extract (p<0.001). Altogether, the present research showed the positive effect of steroids on MSC proliferation and differentiation in vitro. These results would certainly imply a beneficial effect of pork consumption on human muscle development.

        16세기 서기(徐起)의 학문적 다양성

        이 논문은 화담학파(花潭學派)의 학자 고청 서기(徐起)의 학문 내용을 백가중기(百家衆技), 불교, 성리학으로 나누어 연구한 것이다. 생애를 크게 전기와 후기로 나누고 시기별 지적 편력에 따라 고찰한 것이다. 그는 20대까지 호서(湖西)의 내포지역(內浦地域)에서 불교와 백가중기를 섭렵하고, 20대~30대에는 이지함(李之菡)과 이중호(李仲虎)를 만나 성리학에 입문하고, 50대에는 공주(公州)에 공암서원(孔巖書院)을 세워 문인을 양성하였다. 그의 학문 내용은 다음과 같이 3가지로 요약해서 말할 수 있다. 첫째 서기는 내포지역 불교문화의 영향을 받았다. 그는 젊은 시절 홍주(洪州)에 살면서 주변 사찰에 오가며 불경(佛經)이나 선서(禪書)를 접했던 것으로 보인다. 시대적으로 16세기 지방사회는 중앙과 달리 불교의 영향력이 상당했던 것에 유의할 필요가 있다. 그는 최치원과 인연이 깊은 성주사(聖住寺)나 김시습(金時習)이 말년을 보낸 무량사(無量寺)와 같이 당시에 활발하게 활동하던 사찰과 지리적으로 가까운 곳에 거주하였다. 묘갈명은 그가 불교를 흠모했다고 했으며, 묘표는 그를 거사(居士)로 기억했다. 18세기 불교에 조예가 깊었던 김창흡(金昌翕)은 그를 승려 영관(靈觀)과 같은 부류라고 평가했다. 둘째 서기는 천문과 지리 등 다양한 학문 분야를 경험하였다. 박지화는 이를 백가중기라고 표현했다. 처사성(處士星)이 남쪽으로 이동하는 것을 관측하고 송익필(宋翼弼)이 보은(報恩)으로 왔다고 해석했다거나 「동방분야도(東方分野圖)」를 제작했던 일화에서 천문학의 지식이 상당했음을 확인할 수 있다. 그가 입향조인 공주 공암리에 남아있는 비보풍수(裨補風水)의 흔적에서 풍수지리에 밝았음을 엿볼 수 있다. 도교에 정통했던 정렴이나 박지화와 친교가 깊었고, 노인성(老人星)을 보러 제주도로 여행한 것에서 도교문화의 영향을 짐작할 수 있다. 셋째 서기의 사서(四書) 해석은 명대(明代)의 학술 사조에 영향을 받았다. 그의 _대학_ 전6장과 전10장의 해석이 주희의 정통적인 해석과 다르다는 점에서 명대의 주석서를 보았을 가능성이 높다. 또한 조선후기 경학사에서 지속적으로 논의되었던 것도 이와 관련있는 것으로 보인다. Discussed in this article is the work of an individual named Seo Gi(徐 起, Pen-name Gocheong), who was an academician of the Hwadam school(花潭學派). His work spanned over three different areas: Baekga Junggi(百家衆技), Buddhism and Neo-Confucianism. We can divide his life into two different time periods, over which he displayed different academic aspirations and interests. Until his 20s, he studied Buddhism and Baekga Junggi in the Naepo(內浦) area of the Hoseo(湖西) region, and in his 20s and 30s he studied Neo-Confucianism under Yi Ji-ham (李之菡) and Yi Jung-ho(李仲虎). Later in his 50s, he taught students at the Gong’am Seoweon(孔巖書院) school, which he founded in Gongju(公州). A lifetime of his own academic traits can be explained with three distinctive characteristics. First, Seo Gi was influenced by Naepo area’s Buddhist culture. In his youth, he lived in Hongju(洪州) and frequented nearby Buddhist monasteries, where he would regularly read Buddhist texts(佛經) and Zen manuals(禪書). At the time, at least in local regions Buddhism maintained quite an influence on the people’s lives throughout the 16th century. His residence was close to ancient monasteries, such as Seongju-sa(聖住寺, which had a history with the renowned Choi Chiweon/ 崔致遠 of Shilla) and Mu’ryang-sa(無量寺, where Kim Shi-seub/ 金時習 of Joseon spent his last days), which were all active Buddhist monasteries at the time. It is also recorded in his tomb epitaph (Myogal-myeong) that he was a deep believer in Buddhism, and he is also recorded as a Master(居士). Kim Chang-heub(金昌翕), an 18th century Joseon figure who was well versed in Buddhism, praised Seo Gi as an individual in the league of Buddhist priest Yeong’gwan(靈觀). Second, Seo Gi had extensive experiences in various areas of study, including astronomy and geography. Park Ji-hwa once described Seo Gi’s such expertise as ‘Baekga Junggi.’ Seo Gi’s understanding in astronomy was apparent from his observation of the Cheosa-seong(處士 星) star moving south and interpreting it as a phenomenon equivalent of “Song Ik-pil(宋翼弼)’s coming to Bo’eun(報恩),” as well as his creation of 「Dongbang Bun’ya-do(東方分野圖, astromonical chart)」. Meanwhile, his honed knowledge in Pungsu(風水) Geography can be seen from certain vestiges that suggest Bibo Pungsu(裨補風水) practices in Gongju region’s Gong’am-ri area, where his ancestor came to settle down for the very first time. He was also closely acquainted with Jeong Ryeom or Park Ji-hwa, who were all figures highly trained in Taoist activities, and showed himself his affection for Taoism when he traveled to the Jeju-do island just to see the “Elderly Star(老人星).” Third, Seo Gi’s interpretation of the Four Classics(Saseo, 四書) was clearly influenced by the academic trends of the Chinese Ming(明) era. His translation of Daehak’s Chapters 6 (Jeon 6) and 10 (Jeon 10) actually differs from that of Ju Hi(朱熹), which had been believed as the orthodox interpretation of the text. This suggests that Seo Gi may have consulted annotations of the Ming era. His take on the subject matter may also have had something to do with several issues that continued to be discussed during the Joseon period’s latter half, particularly over classical texts.

        복수의 성상을 감별 진단함에 있어서 복수의 지질 , 혈청과 복수의 Albumin 농도비 , LDH 동위효소 및 복수내 Fibronectin 치의 의의

        N/A Background: There are many parameters available to differentiate between malignant and non-malignant acsites. We studied the diagnostic value of ascitic lipid, LDH isoenzymes, serum ascites albumin gradient ratio and fibronectin levels to differentiate between malignant & non-malignant ascites. Methods: 51patients with ascites (21cirrhosis, 2nephrotic syndrome 17, various neoplasms and 11both cirrhosis & hepatocellular carcinoma) were studied to evaluate the diagnostic value of above mentioned 4parameters. Results; 1) Above mentioned 4parameters are statistically very significantly different between malignant and non- malignant ascites than previous parameters. 2) Total ascitci LDH levels ard LDH and LDH levels are markedly high in malignant ascites than LDH and LDH levels. 3) The median and mean values of cholesterol, triglycerides, phospholipids and total lipids were significantly high in malignant specificity of ascitic cholesterol in the differentiation between malignant ascites and benign ascites were 82% and 100% respectively as a cut off value of ascites cholesterol is 42mg/dl. 4) Serum ascites albumin gradient ratio in malignant ascites (0.88±0.62) and benign ascites (4.77±1.250) showed signifacantly difference, and diagnostic sensitivity and specificity are 80% and 100% as a cut off value is less than 1.1. 5) Ascitic Fibronectin levels are significantly high in malignant ascites (116±75 mg/1) than benign ascites (32±21mg/1). Its diagnostic sensitivity-and specificity are 61% and 96% as a cut off value is over 85mg/l. Conclusion; Above 4 parameters ard statistically significant to differenciate between malignant and non- malignant ascites, especially serum ascites albumin gradient ratio and ascitic lipids levels are more valuable for the differential diagnosis of ascites.

        간세포암환자에서 C-DDP 단독 혹은 C-DDP와 Doxorubicin의 병합 간동맥화학요법의 비교

        N/A Most of hepatocellular carcinomas, especially in Korea, are considered as inoperable due to extrerne tumor extension at the tirne of diagnosis and underlying advanced liver cirrhosis. The normal liver receives a dual blood supply from the hepatic artery and the portal vein whereas hepatoma is fed preferentially by the hepatic artery. With the background above mentioned, hepatic arterial chemotherapy or chemoembolization in hepatocellular carcinoma has been regarded as an important treatment modality for unresectable hepatocelluar carcino- ma. It has been found that the lipid lymphographic agent such as Lipiodol(ethiodized oil), which can be mixed with chemotherapeutic agents, is selectively retained within hepatocelluar carcinoma when it is injected into the hepatic artery. Based on recent promising therapeutic results in hepatocelluar carcinoma treated with hepatic arterial C DDP infusion combined with Lipiodol, we studied to elucidate the therpeutic efficacy of the hepatic arterial chemotherapy with C DDP combined with Lipiodol and to compare the differences in thera- peutic efficacy between C-DDP rnonotherapy group (Group 1) and C-DDP/doxorubicin combi- nation therapy group(Group 2). In all 42 cases there were 1 complete response(2%), 4 partial responses(10%), 7 rninimal responses(17%), 15 stab1e diseases(36%) and 15 progressive diseases (36%). There were no differences of response rate and survival duration between Group 1 and Group 2, and there was a significant difference of survival duration between responder group (CR+PR+MR) and nonresponder group(SD+PD) (P<0.01). In conclusion hepatic arterial chemotherapy with C DDP and/or doxorubicin and Lipiodol appears to have relatively weak activity in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.         도파민 길항제에 치료 불응성인 기능성 소화불량증 환자에서 시사프리드의 효과

        N/A Background/Aims : Prokinetics are commonly used for the treatment of functional dyspesia, but their methods of action are different. First, we compared the efficacy and safety of the dopamine receptor antagonists, which were domperidone maleate and levosulpiride, in a 2 week treatment in functional dyspepsia, then investigated the efficacy and safety of cisapride tartrate in a 2 week treatment in those who were resistant to domperidone maleate or levosulpiride. Methods : One hundred Forty-nine patients, who were diagnosed with functional dyspepsia, were selected. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups, domperidone maleate (75) and levosupiride (74). Daily they took 30mg of domperidone maleate (DOM) or 75mg of levosulpiride (LEV) for 2 weeks. Then the subjects who didn't respond to these treatments took 30mg of cisapride tartrate for the following 2 weeks. Results : At week 0, the total symptom scores of the DOM group and LEV group were 8.01±2.57 and 8.14±2.65 respectively, which were not statistically different. At week 2, the total symptom scores of the DOM and LEV groups were significantly reduced to 4.28±3.30 and 4.85±3.53(p=0.0001). The efficacy rates of the DOM and LEV groups at week 2 were 50.8% vs. 44.1%. The rate of adverse events in the LEV groups was much higher than in the DOM group(17.7% vs. 8.0%). In addition the rate of change from normal to abnomal in prolactin level was markedly higher in the LEV than that of the DOM group(80.0% vs. 8.3%). After 2 weeks of treatment with cisapride tartrate, the total symptom score was significantly reduced to 3.77±2.49(p=0.0001), and the efficacy rate was 75.0%. The satisfaction of the resistant subjects in efficacy of cisapride compared with the previous treatment was 73.3%. The rate of adverse events of cisapride tartrate was 5.0%. Conclusions: Considering efficacy and safety of domperidone maleate and levosulpiride, domperidone maleate was the safer drug for the treatment of functional dyspepsia, and cisapride tartrate can be a useful drug in those patients who are resistant to dopamine antagonists like domperidone maleate and levosulpiride.

        내시경적 점막절제술을 이용한 위의 전암병변 및 조기위암의 치료

        N/A Objectives: Gastrectomy with lymph node dissection is the stare4rd treatment for early gastric cancer(EGC). However, patients who have high risks demand modifications in surgical treatment for EGC. Recently, endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR) has become accepted in many institutions as a treatment for cancerous mucosal lesions of the stomach. Thus we investigated the efficacy and safety of EMR prospectively in the patients with EGC who have high risks in surgery and those with premalignant lesions. Method: Twenty-five patients were treated with EMR, thirteen were EGC and twelve were premalignant lesions such as tubular adenoma, severe dysplasia. We used standard snare method and endoscopic mucosal resection using a band ligation kits(EMRI.), Resuts : The complete resection rate at the first step of EMR was 100%(13/12) in premalignant lesions, 76.9%(10/13) in EGC. Of three EGC resected incompletely at the first step, one patient was treated by surgery and two patients underwent the third step of EMR. The final complete resection rate was 92%(23/25) and it was 100%(12/12) in the premalignant lesions, 84.6%(11/13) in RX. We final complete resection rate in according to the methods was 100%(5/5) by standard snare method, 75%(6/8) by EMHL, As pathologic results, all cases of F were limited to the mucosa. No serious complications such as perforation, major bleeding were encountered. Conclusion: We consider that EMR is effective and safe in treatment of the patients with EGC who have high risks in surgery and those with prernalignant lesions.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of reducing the absorbed dose to the ovaries and the quality of the CBCT image when using the Halcyon<sup>TM</sup> Fast kV CBCT of cervical cancer patients of child-bearing age who performed ovarian transposition Materials and Methods : Contouring of the cervix and ovaries required for measurement was performed on the computed tomography images of the human phantom (Alderson Rando Phantom, USA), and three Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimeter(OSLD) were attached to the selected organ cross-section, respectively. In order to measure the absorbed dose to the cervix and ovaries in the Truebeam<sup>TM</sup> pelvis mode (Hereinafter referred to as TP), The Halcyon<sup>TM</sup> Pelvis mode (Hereinafter referred to as HP) and The Halcyon<sup>TM</sup> Pelvis Fast mode (Hereinafter referred to as HPF), An image was taken with a scan range of 17.5 cm and also taken an image that reduced the Scan range to 12.5cm. A total of 10 cumulative doses were summed, It was replaced with a value of 23 Fx, the number of cervical cancer treatments, and compared In additon, uniformity, low contrast visibility, spatial resolution, and geometric distortion were compared and analyzed using Catphan 504 phantom to compare CBCT image quality between equipment. Each factor was repeatedly measured three times, and the average value was obtained by analysing with the Doselab (Mobius Medical Systems, LP. Versions: 6.8) program. Results: As a result of measuring absorbed dose by CBCT with OSLD, TP and HP did not obtain significant results under the same conditions. The mode showing the greatest reduction value was HPF versus TP. In HPF, the absorbed dose was reduced by 39.8% in the cervix and 19.8% in the ovary compared to the TP in the scan range of 17.5 cm. the scan range was reduced to 12.5 cm, absorbed dose was reduced by 34.2% in the cervix and 50.5% in the ovary. In addition, result of evaluating the quality of the image used in the above experiment, it complied with the equipment manufacturer's standards with Geometric Distortion within 1mm (SBRT standard), Uniformity HU, LCV within 2.0%, Spatial Resolution more than 3 lp/mm. Conclusion: According to the results of this experiment, Halcyon<sup>TM</sup> can select more various conditions than Truebeam<sup>TM</sup> in treatment of fertility woman who have undergone ovarian Transposition , because it is important to reduce the radiation dose by CBCT during radiation therapy. So finally we recommend Halcyon<sup>TM</sup> Fast kV CBCT which maintains image quality even at low mAs. However, it is consider that the additional exposure to low doses can be reduced by controlling the imaging range for patients who have undergone ovarian transposition in other treatment machines.

        N/A Background/Aims: Most of Ihe chronic liver diseases of variable etiologies are accompanied by a pathobiochemical reaction So-called fibrosis. Liver fibrosis was recently recognized as all the complexity of dynamic changes of the hepatic extracellular matrix(ECM). And ECM consists of four major components: collagen, glycoprotein such as fibronectin and laminin, proteoglycan, and elastin. Among these, collagen I and III are the representatives of disproportion of synthesis and degradation in conjunction with fibrogenesis. To elucidate the clinical significance of procollagen propeptide I(PICP) and III(PIIINP) measurements among the sera out of patients with chronic liver diseases, radioimmunoassay 4vas employed in this investigation. Methods: Sera tested were obtained from pathologically-proven 54 patients; 4 cases of fatty liver, 11 cases of chronic persistent hepatitis, 13 cases df chronic active hepatitis, 15 cases of liver cirrhosis and 11 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma. All:the patients except 4 cases of fatty liver were shown positivity of HBsAg. PICP and PIIINP radioimmunoassay kits(Farmos Diagnostica, Oulunsalo, Finland)were purchased for this study. ResOlts: PICP concentration (mean+standard error) was highest in liver cirrhosis (280.06>39,83 pg/L). PICP in liver cirrhosis was significantly elevated in cornparison to that (109.30+14.58) in fatty:liver(p=0.045), that (122.22>10.26) in chronic persistent hepatitis (p=0.003), and that (158.59>21.58) in chronic active hepatitis(p=0.016), PICP in hepatocellular carcinoma was decreased to 1'94.05+ 29.89. Similarly, PIIINP concentration revealed highest level in liver cirrhosis(17.29+3.58 pg/L). This value was significantly higher than that of chronic persistent hepatitis(5.12+0.59)(p=0.008). Contrarily to these results, concentration ratio of PICP/PIIINP was high in fatty liver (29.27>6.29) and chronic persistent hepatitis (25.04+2.00), These value were statistically higher than that of chronic active hepatitis (17.632.67) (p=0.043). PICP/PIIINP ratio in liver cirrhosis (21.58+3.29) showed no statistical difference. Conclusions: On the basis of these data, it is suggested that the elevation of PICP and PIIINP in the sera of the patients with chronic liver diseases means emerging the liver cirrhosis. And the ratio of these markers can be helpful in differential diagnosis of chronic liver diseases. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1996; 28:815-823)
