Recently, the robustness against daily impact is important according to portablization and downsizing of mobile electronics. Especially, almost parts of cellular phone should undergo drop test when they fall 1.5 m above ground. This test simulates the case when cellular phone slips through user's fingers while he is talking on the phone. This paper studies a drop test of auto focusing (AF) actuator for camera module in cellular phone. This component is composed of voice coil motor (VCM) as an actuator and leaf spring as a guide and suspension. The leaf spring's deformation is essential for the test because its permanent distortion disables the focusing, and then, a high quality photograph cannot be obtained. Up to now the drop test has been carried out after fabricating real AF actuator. We propose a dropt test model which simulates the drop test based on finite element analysis. This model makes us enable investigate the stress acting on the clamping and curved parts of leaf spring. Stress over Von Mises criterion lets the spring deformed permanently, and then AF actuator malfunctioned, It helps us to design and modify AF actuator without manufacturing the real product. And also, it saves the time and cost for the development of new products.
중환자에서 동맥혈 가스분석 횟수와 그로인한 실혈량에 대한 연구

Background : Arterial blood gas analysis is the most comon exam in intensive care unit. In this study, the frequency of blood gas analysis and the amount of blood loss after Blood Gas Analysis in Intensive Care Unit were observed. Methods : From November 1999 to February 2000, 115 patients admitted to intensive care unit at Soonchunhyang university Kumi hospital were studied prospectively for the frequency of blood gas analysis and the amount of blood loss after blood gas analysis in Intensive Care Unit. Results : The mean value of frequency of blood gas analysis was 6.41±6.49 and the mean value of amount of blood loss after blood gas analysis was 0.78ml. This was lower than that of other foreign reports. The patients with ventilator therapy above 24 hours showed higher frequency of blood gas analysis than that of not applied ventilator patients. Pulse oxymetry was applied to all patients and the frequency of blood gas analysis was decreased due to the use of strict pulse oxymetry. Conclusion : Doctors and nurses in intensive care unit keep in mind that adequate blood sampling is needed for the decrease of blood loss. Education and protocol for the decrease of blood loss after arterial blood gas analysis may be necessary.
전산유체역학을 이용한 싸이클론형 전기집진기 고도 설계 연구

A computer program is developed in order to figure out the physical insight of the combined dust removal equipment, that is, cyclonic electrostatic precipitator. The computer program employs Patankar's control-volume based finite-difference method, in which SIMPLEC algorithm is used for the resolution of pressure-linked momentum equation. Further two equation k-ε model is incorperated for Reynolds stresses and many empirical formulae are employed for dust charging and electric resistivity. A series of extensive parametric investigations are performed in terms of tangential velocity(swirl intensity), applied voltage across two electrodes, and particulate diameters, etc. It is found that the electrostatic force gives much more strong effect, expecially for small particulate, on the dust removal than the centrifugal force. Other calculated results are physically acceptable and consistent.

본 연구에서는 통합된 하나의 맵을 작성하기 위하여 통합 맵서버를 설계하고 구현한다. 제안된 통합 맵서버는 다음과 같은 두 가지 특징을 가진다. 첫째, 웹 환경에서 사용자의 요구를 반영하기 위하여 메타데이터를 개별화한다. 맵서버는 클라이언트에 필요한 정보를 메타데이터에 설정하기 때문에 메타데이터를 개별화하면 사용자는 자신이 원하는 형태의 통합 데이터를 얻을 수 있게 된다. 둘째, 융합 서비스 개념을 도입하여 공간 데이터 뿐만 아니라 공간 데이터와 비공간 데이터와의 통합도 지원한다. 융합 서비스는 링킹의 개념을 사용하여 실체화한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 통합 맵서버는 사용자의 요구에 따른 높은 수준의 맵 통합 결과를 제공함으로써 웹 매핑 환경에서 융합의 질을 높일 수 있으며, 사용자 응답 시간도 줄일 수 있다는 것을 실험을 통하여 증명하였다. This paper designs and implements an integrated map server to produce an integrated map. Two requirements for the proposed map server are as follows. Fist, the system should support a customization of metadata to meet user's requirements. The map server designed here will predefine information such as representations, regions required for client-side processing in the metadata. This will allow users easily acquire and integrated map in the required form of clients. Second, the system should be able to support not only the integration of spatial data but also their non-spatial data. Fusion service is realized by using the concept of linking. The integrated map server suggested in the paper can improve the quality of the fusion service by integrating the results of the map servers according to user's requests. Our experiments shows that the integrated map server reduces the response time in web mapping environments.

비장티푸스 살모넬라증에 의한 장열과 장천공은 매우 드물다 저자들은 방어기전의 손상이 없는 건강한 성인에서 비장티푸스성 D군 살모넬라 장열에 동반된 장천공이 발생한 예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The case of enteric fever and bowel perforation caused by nontyphoidal Salmonella spp. is extremely rare. We report a case of a 28-year-old man who suffered from enteric fever with complicated a small bowel perforation, which is a known complication of S. typhi and S. paratyphi infections. The culprit later proved to be nontyphoidal group D Salmonella spp. in our case.

Statistical analysis of the 172 congenital heart disease patients who had diagnosed by cardia catheterization and angiography in the Department of Pediatrics, Chungnam National University College of Medicine from Sept. 1982 to Nov. 1985 was performed. The annual numbers of cardiac catheterization is increased. The overall congenital heart disease is most common in less than 3 year age group (27.3%) and then, 4-6 year age group (22.1%), 7-9 year age group (22.1%), 10-12 year age group (17.4%) and 13-15 year age group (11.1%) in this order. The most, common congenital cardiac anomaly is VSD(40.3%), and the next are PDA(28.8%) ASD(11.0%) and TOF(10.7%). VSD is the most common disease in the below 3 year age group, and above 7 year age group and PDA is in the 4-6 year age group.
