대기 습도변화에 따른 콘크리트 보수체의 비정상적인 습도분포

The object of this study was investigating the failure phenomenon of required concrete structures due to the external climate change(hygral transient condition). This study was carried out by calculating the non-stationary moisture distribution in the bonded system(mortar layer/substratum concrete). In the computation of moisture difference between substratum and overlay(mortar layer) causing a critical internal stress, main variables were the one cement mortar, and the overlay thickness(0.5∼2.5cm), and the pre-wetting time(0∼72hr). Normally, the computations were performed on the bonded system without the adhesive area. The results show that the moisture difference between overlay and substratum was decreased with decreasing the overlay thickness, and with increasing the pre-wetting time. Especially, the required time for which the moisture difference become a negative value was described as a function of the overlay thickness and the pre-wetting time.
질산염이 축적된 Italian ryegrass 급여에 따른 면양의 혈액중 Methemoglobin 농도의 경시적 변화

본 시험은 초기생육기간 중 질소비료의 시비 수준에 따른 사료작물내 질산염 함량에 미치는 영향, 그리고 질산염이 축적된 Italian ryegrass를 면양에 급여한 후 시간경과에 따라 면양 혈액중 methemoglobin(MHb) 농도의 변화를 조사할 목적으로 실시하였던 바 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Italian ryegrass의 질산염 함량은 질소 시비수준의 증가에 따라 유의적으로 증가하였다(p<0.05). 2. 면양의 혈액내 MHb 함량의 평균 최고 농도는 22.5%를 나타냈으며 면양기체간의 차이가 매우 심하게 나타났다. 그리고 Italian ryegrass의 일일 DM 섭취량은 554~750g이었으며 조사료내 NO₃-N의 섭취량은 2.715~3.675g이었다. This study was conducted to investigate the influence of the level of nitrogen fertilization and cutting date on the nitrate accumulation in Italian ryegrass, and the influence of nitrate accumulation in Italian ryegrass feeding on the chang of methemoglobin in sheep. 9 Corriedale wethers(average body weight 33kg) were fed Italian ryegrass containing average 0.469% NO₃-N. Blood samples were taken at 1 hour before feeding and 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 hours after feeding, and then methemoglobin concentration in blood were determined. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. Significant difference were observed in nitrate concentration in Italian ryegrass when nitrogen fertilizer were applied(p<0.05). 2. There were large variations among the test animals in the capacity of methemoglobin formation of the Italian ryegrass feeding and DM and NO₃-N intake of Italian ryegrass in sheep was 554 to 750g and 2.715-3.675 in a day respectively.

In this study, the damage to a concrete bridgepier due to fire caused by the fall of an oil truck were investigated by the use of FEM and by tensile tests for reinforcements. And this results were analyzed and compared with the measured values. In the FEM calculations, the selected variables was the fire temperature T??=500∼800℃. The fixed values were the heat transition coefficient α=2000W/㎡·K, the initial temperature of concrete T??=5℃ and the fire duration t=30 minutes. As the results obtained from numerical calculations, the property damage zone appeared to be 1.5∼4.1㎝ and the structure damage zone appeared to be 8.6∼10.1㎝ from the concrete surface. And this results give values very similar to those measured, namely 2∼4㎝ and 8∼10㎝ respectively. The results from tensile tests give no serious loss of the tensile strength.
골아세포 MC₃T₃-E₁의 증식과 기능에 Insulin Like Growth Factor Ⅰ, Ⅱ 및 부갑상선 호르몬이 미치는 영향

MC₃T₃-E₁골아세포군을 이용하여 IGF-Ⅰ과 Ⅱ를 투여하고 DNA합성과 골아세포기능을 측정하기 위해 PTH에 대한 C-AMP반응정도, alkaline phosphatase 활성도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) IGF-Ⅰ과 Ⅱ는 모두 DNA합성이 어느 농도까지는 증식효과를 나타내지만 그 이후에는 억제되는 양상을 보였다. 2) PTH에 대한 골아세포의 C-AMP반응으로 증가되었지만 IGF-Ⅰ과 Ⅱ의 투여시 농도변화에 따른 의미있는 변화는 없었다. 3) 본 실험의 조건에서 alkaline phosphatase 활성도는 증가되지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 MC₃T₃-E₁ 골아세포에 IGF-Ⅰ과 Ⅱ는 세포의 증식을 자극하여 PTH는 C-AMP생성을 촉진하는 효과가 있었다. The effect of insulin-like growth factor (IGF) Ⅰ and Ⅱ on cloned MC₃T₃-E₁ cells that had osteoblastic activity was examined by [³H] thymidine incorporation into DNA, cyclic AMP responsiveness to parathyroid hormone (PTH), and alkaline phosphatase activity. IGF Ⅰ and Ⅱ stimulated the growth and proliferation of osteoblastic cells at 20ng/㎖ and 50ng/㎖, respectively. We next examined the effect of IGF-Ⅰ and Ⅱ on the expression of osteoblastic activity. Adenylate cyclase response of PTH to IGF-Ⅰ and Ⅱ-treated cells showed maximal stimulation at 10 and 50㎚PTH, respectively, but IGF Ⅰ and Ⅱ induced limited activity of osteoblastic function. In conclusion, IGF-Ⅰ and Ⅱ were potent stimulators to the growth of osteoblastic cells but did not have an immediate effect on expression of osteoblastic function in this experiment.
Encephalomyocarditis Virus 표면항원의 단일항체생산 세포주의 크론과 이의 면역학 및 생화학적 연구(I)

To determine the immunological and biochemical properties of monoclonal antibody against encephalomyocardins viral surface antigen, Balb/c female mice were immuunized with the purified viral surface protein of D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus and then fused with niyeloma cells(NS-l). Sixteen monocloiial antibody-producing hybridoma cell lines were selected from non-producing hybridoma cell lines. Among them, three hybridoma cell lines produced IgG2b and other thirteen hybridoma cell lines produced IgG1. Two hybridoma cell lines, EDH-S-23 and EDH-S-24, Produced IgG2b and showed highest neutralization titer, 236. The antigenic specificity of these monoclonal antibodies was specific to D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus. VIoreover, the monoclonal antibody showed specifically the curring effect on diabetes mellitus of mice, which was induced by the D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus.

The object of this study was investigating the failure phenomenon in the contact zone of repaired concrete structures due to the external climate change(hygral transient condition). This study was carried out by calculating the non-stationary moisture and stress distribution in the repaired concrete structure with the cement mortar. In this analysis, main variables were the overlay thickness (Do=0.5-2.5cm), and the pre-wetting time(tc=1-5days), and the external relative humidity (Ho=50-80%). The results show how to repair works in order to keep compressive stresses in the contact zone.
류마티스 관절염 환자에서 발생한 Mycobacterium intracellulare에 의한 관절염 1예

비정형 항산균에 의한 근골격계 감염은 매우 드물며, 진단이 지연되는 경우가 많다. 저자들은 류마티스 관절염환자에서 수차례 스테로이드 주사 후에 생긴 M. intracellulare에 의한 관절염을 진단하고 수술적 치료없이 약물 치료만으로 좋은 결과를 보인 예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Nontuberculous mycobacteria are ubiquitous organisms that are frequently present in the water, soil and animal reservoirs. Nontuberculous mycobacterial infections of the musculoskeletal system are rare and usually associated with predisposing factors, such as prior joint disease, trauma, use of intraarticular or oral corticosteroids, or an immunocompromised state. A sixty five-year-old patient with rheumatoid arthritis was hospitalized due to swelling on the left wrist. M. intracellulare was cultured from the aspirated joint fluid. The patient was successfully treated with clarithromycin, ethambutol, and rifampin. We report this case with review, emphasizing high suspicion for nontuberculous mycobacterial infection in patients with predisposing risk factors.
