        연구목적: 입학시험에서 짧은 시간동안의 면접을 통하여 학생을 선발하는 것이 대부분의 현실이며 이 러한 면접형태에서는 평가의 신뢰도를 확보하기 어렵다는 것이 큰 단점이다. 따라서 단시간의 면접이 지만 면접에서 목표로 하는 지적 역량에 따라서 문제를 객관구조화하여 개발하고 이렇게 개발된 문제 유형에 따라 인지적 요소를 측정하는 것이 타당성이 있는지 그 가능성을 모색하기 위해 이 연구를 시 행하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2006년부터 2008년까지 3년동안 충북대학교 의학전문대학원 입학전형에서 시행한 면접시험문제 중에서 대조적인 두 가지 문제유형(각각 2문제)의 채점결과를 1학년(기초의학과정)과 2 학년(임상의학과정)의 교육과목들의 학점들과 연관성이 있는지를 살펴보았다. 결과: 면접문제 유형 중에서 생물학에 대한 사전지식을 측정한 결과는 학업 성취도와 전혀 상관관계 를 나타내지 않았으나, 사고력(도표 해석 능력)에 관한 평가 결과는 2008년 2학년 2학기에 평점에서 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 기초의학과목의 경우, 신경해부학(2006년), 약작용의 원리(2006년), 의료와 사회I(2006년), 비뇨생식계통의 이해(2006년)에서 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 임상의학과 목에서는 내분비대사학(2008년), 알레르기 감염 면역(2008년), 신장요로의학(2008년), 모성태아의학 및 신생아학(2008년), 여성의학(2008년), 신경의학(2008년)에서 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 결론: 입학면접에서 측정한 지적 역량과 학업성취도는 연관관계가 어느 정도 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 생물학에 대한 사전지식에 대한 평가 결과보다 사고력에 대한 평가 결과가 충북대학교 의학전문대 학원의 학업성취도와 연관성이 높은 경향을 나타내었다.

        This study aims to investigate generation and physicochemical characteristics of Municipal Solid Wastes(MSW) generated from different sources in Kyungju. The source are apartments(low, high-rise), single family houses(centra1, outer), traditional market, office(city hall), factory, school, Park. The unit waste discharge rate of residential MSW excluding recyclable solid wastes was 0.47 kg/(capita . day). The maximum coefficients of variation for month and season were 1.23, 1.17, respectively. The bulk density of solid wastes was largely different for each sampling site, and the bulk densities of apartment district, single family house district and public area were 232㎏/m, 247kg/m, 170kg/m, respectively. The load factory of vehicle was 457kg/m. The percentage of combustible material to solid wastes was 86.5%. The physical compositions of solid wastes were food of 36.2%, Paper of 32.3%, plastic of 11.9%, glass of 6.5%, metal of 4.6%, textile of 3.0%, rubber of 1.8% and wood of 1.3%. The proximate analysis results of solid wastes showed moisture of 45.7%, volatile solids of 45.2%, and ash of 9.1%. In case of moisture content, the maximum value showed 66.7% in high-rise apartment district and the minimum value 14.0% in school district. Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and chlorine contents of combustible solid wastes were 48.4%, 7.0%, 25.9%, 1.3%, 0.2% and 0.4%, respectively. The low heating values of combustible solid wastes were 1,365 ~ 2,896kca1/kg (average 1,892kca1/kg) in residential area and 1,200∼3,878kca1/kg (average 2,178kca1/kg) in public area. Especially, the generation rate and the moisture content of residential MSW separating food wastes decreased 2.7 and 1.7 times and the low heating increased 2.1 times in apartment district.

        This paper presents a method to design pseudo decentralized load frequency control(LFC) based on digital controllers which improves dynamic responses in multi-area power systems by incorporating computational time delay. Assuming that the amplitude of the load fluctuation is small and invariant, behavior of the power system in expressed by a set of linear differential equation, with constant coefficients. First, in order to synthesize a sampled date controller, the system is digitalized at appropriate sampling period by using numerical approximation method. Next, the centralized control gains incorporating time delay are determined based on the optimal theory. In order to damp a constant disturbance, we make use to digital servo system having one controller delay. From the point of view of application to LFC problem, the area control error (ACE) is chosen as output variables of servo system.

        A new reinforcement system, the Geolog, is developed which can be used as the reinforcements in the reinforced earth method. The Geolog consists of the epoxy coated steel bar with the reinforced concrete logs. The main advantages of the Geolog are as follows: (1) It can expect the passive earth resistance in addition to the friction, which is the only source of the conventional reinforcements. (2) The length and diameter of the Geolog can be easily adjusted in accordance with the field conditions. (3) It can be easily manufactured in this country without the sophisticated materials and as the consequence it is economical in comparison with other imported reinforcements.

      • 잣나무의 子葉數 및 子葉長의 變異와 遺傳力에 關한 硏究

        This study was carried out to investigate the variation and heritability of cotyledon with 120 half-sib families of Korean White Pine sampled from 7(A-G) different plots. Family was a significant source of variation(1% level) for the number and length of cotyledons. Number of cotyledons with family ranged from 5 to 18, and averaged 11.91±0.35. The CV value and contribution rate were 13.40% and 11.25%, respectively. Family means of length of cotyledons ranged from 21.6 to 69.3mm. CV=9.51%, and averaged 47.12±0.98mm. The contribution rate of family to cotyledon length variance was 26.47%. Family within site was a significant source of variation(1% level) in both two cotyledon characteristics. Site was a significant source of variation(1% level) in the number and length of cotyledon traits, however, contribution rate was low level of 1.28%, 0.95% respectively for number and length of cotyledons. Replication has no effects in the two traits. There was no significant relationship between number and length of cotyledon. Individual tree and family heritability for cotyledon number were 0.45 and 0.72 respectively those for cotyledon length were higher(h^2_I=1.07, h^2_F=0.88) than the former trait.

      • 형태소 정합을 이용한 전자회로 심볼의 인식

        In this paper, a symbol technique of electronic circuit diagram is proposed. Digital image is preprocessed using smoothing, binary-threshold and skeleton for reducing noise adn feature extracting. Segment components are extraced by feature points which consist of start point and end poing. Corner points are determined by area deviation. Branch points and cross points are classified by number of segments. Character informations are extracted by MRA. Linear lines and curves in symbol are classified by LMS curve fitting technique. We proposed a method for constructing a look-up table which consist of such a feature information to recognize electronic symbols. Experimental results are included.

      • 응급실내에서 발생한 폭력의 실태

        Background and Objectives: The objective of this study was to obtain circumstances about violence providers and cause of the violence in emergency room. Materials and Methods: Reports were provided to emergency department doctors, nurses and emergency medical technicians working in Chosun University Hospital Emergency Center during the sixty days from 26 May 2003 to 24 July 2003. Report form consisted of the degree of violence, the reason for the violence, dermographic information about violence providers, outbreak time of violence and response of emergency personnels. Results: SixtyUeight case of violence in the emergency department were reported. Almost all of the violence was due to the male gender and high incidence in third and fourth decade. The violence occured mostly in the night shift. 55.9% of violence was done by patient and 41.2% was done by patient's guardians. The leading cause of violence were alcohol drunken and delay of laboratory test and treatment. Verbal abuse and threats were the most concern form of violence, Conclusion: It is necessary to solve the problems faced in the emergency department not only administrative and financial aid but also regular preventive education and further study.

        청소년 스트레스 요인과 PC방 이용과의 관련성

        Objectives : This study was designed for the evaluation of relationships between PC-Bang (the place where people surf the internet, play computer games and etc) visit and stress in adolescents. Methods : 66 adolescents in city of Kangnung were interviewed in June, 2000. The independent variables were general characteristics of adolescents, the characteristics related to school activities and the length of time using PC-Bang. The amount of stress was measured by the Korean version BEPSI (Brief Encounter Psychosocial Instrument) scale. Results : The multiple regression analysis shows that the BEPSI score of female was higher than that of male by 0.18 (p<0.05) and the adolescents with more communication with their friends scored lower 4.04 (p<0.001) than others in the BEPSI. As the time used in PC bang increased, the BEPSI score was also increased 0.18 point per hour (p<0.01). Conclusion : This result shows that the time of PC-Bang usage is significantly related with the BEPSI score of adolescents.
