        To investigate the relationship between premenstrual mood changes and anxiety, and mood symptoms in the perinatal period , questionaire survey was carried out. There was no significant correlation between premenstrual symptom scale value and Edinburgh postpartum depression scale value. And theme was no relationship between premenstrual symptom scale value and state anxiety inventory scale value in the perinatal period. This findings suggest that premenstrual mood changes are not directly correlated with mood changes in the perinatal period.

      • 職業供血者의 血色素 및 血淸鐵値

        To satisfy the increasing needs for blood transfusion it is necessary not only to find new blood donors but also to repeat the collection of blood from the same donors. It was recognized that too frequent blood donations might become detrimental to the health of the donor, above all in female donors in foreign countries where the blood program relies on voluntary donation. Unfortunately, the sources of much blood depends solely on professional donors except in a few instances in Korea. Thus, anemia of professional donors after repeated blood donation must be controlled. For this purpose, we studied hemoglobin levels and serum iron levels of professional donors, coming to Korean Red Cross Blood Service and Seoul Medical College Hospital. The data obtained in this study were as follows: (1) 6. 0% of male professional donors and 17.98% of female professional donors were disqualified owing to a low hemoglobin levels. On the other heand, only 0.8% of male voluntary donors and 10.6% of female voluntary donors were rejected. (2) 7.3% of male donors and 33.3% of female donors were rejected their donations because of low hemoglobin levels on their 5-6th visits. (3) The serum iron levels appeared to be decreased after repeated blood donations. Specially, serum iron levels of female donors decreased to 73. 6 mcg. /d. after 2-4 blood donations yearly. So, it might be recommended to limit the frequency of blood donations from female.

        유리섬유강화 복합재의 AE특성에 대한 섬유배향 효과

        본 연구에서는 연속형 일방향 및 수자직 유리섬유강화 복합재료로 인장 시험편을 만들어 AE 특성에 대한 섬유배향 효과를 살펴보았다. AE 신호들을 STFT 처리하여 특성별로 분류하였으며, 반사식 및 투과식 편광현미경을 이용하여 시험편의 손상영역을 관찰하였다. 저주파수 대역의 약한 AE 신호들은 모재 및 계면에서의 손상으로 나타났으며, 높은 진폭의 고주파수 대역 AE 신호들은 섬유 파단에 기인하였다. 섬유 파단 과정에서 발생하는 고진폭의 AE 사상률을 기본 특성 데이터로 하여 다른 섬유배향과 노치방향을 가진 복합재에서의 파괴과정을 특징지을 수 있었다. 결론적으로, AE법은 연속형 유리섬유 강화 복합재의 파괴거동을 탐지하는데 있어 유용함을 알 수 있었다. The effects of fiber orientation on acoustic emission(AE) characteristics have been studied for the unidirectional and satin-weave, continuous glass-fiber reinforced plastic(UD-CFRP and SW-CFRP) tensile specimens. Reflection and transmission optical microscopy was used for investigation of the damage zone of specimens. AE signals were classified as different types by using short time Fourier transform(STFT) : AE signals with high intensity and high frequency band were due to fiber fracture, while weak AE signals with low frequency band were due to matrix and interfacial cracking. The feature in the rate of hit-events having high amplitudes showed a process of fiber breakages, which expressed the characteristic fracture processes of individual fiber-reinforced plastics with different fiber orientations and with different notching directions. As a consequence, the fracture behavior of the continuous GFRP could be monitored as nondestructive evaluation(NDE) through the AE technique.

        This study has been carried out to measuring the biodegradability and toxicity of dyes chemnical factory wastwwater for anaerobic treatment. The experiment consisted of batch test pilot plant test. The results are as follows 1. Biodegradability assays were conducted at two assay concentration for 2gCOD and 5gCOD tat BMP are respectively 0.23㎥CH₄/ ㎏.COD, 0.16㎥CH₄/㎏.COD respresents the noninhibited bioconversion efficency also MRR were 1.080 and 0.959 represented. 2. In pilot plant experiment, COD removal efficency are up 65% represented according to changing COD loading rate from 0.15㎏COD/㎥.d to 2.6㎏COD/㎥.d 3. Alkalinity and Volatile, VA/Alkalinity as chemical factor of anaerobic was 1070∼1700㎎/ℓ, 30∼150g/ℓ and 0.02∼0.09 respectively. 4. According to changing COD loading rate from 0.15㎏COD/㎥.d to 2.6㎏/COD/㎥.d the methane gas production was 0.20~0.23]㎥ CH₄/㎏.COD_(rem)

      • 2-Amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylate 유도체들의 전극 반응메카니즘

        N-methyl-2-amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylic acid(N-CH₃acdc)와 2-amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiomethyl ester(S-Ch₃acdc)의 전기화학적 거동을 직류롤라로그래피, 순환전압전류법 및 조절전위 전기량법을 사용하여 dimethylformamide(DMF) 용매 중에서 조사하였다. N-CHacdc의 이합체는 +0.98V에서 2전자 산화반응을 거쳐 s가 한 원자 유리된 다섯원자 고리를 형성하는 전극반응이 일어남을 알았다. 그러나, S-CH₃acdc의 경우에 있어서는 N-CH₃acdc 화합물과는 달리 다섯원자 고리를 형성하지 않았으므로 N-CH₃acdc와는 다른 전극반응을 일으킴을 확인하였다. The electrochemical behavior of N-methyl-2-amino-1-cyclopotent-1-dithiocarboxylic acid (N-CH₃acdc) and 2-amino-1-cyclooptent-1-dithiomethyl ester (S-CH₃acdc) in DMF have been investigated by the use of polyargraphy, cyclic voltammetry and colometry. The dimer of N-CH₃acdc is further oxidized at +0.98 V via 2-electron process to produce free sulfur atom and cyclization product. The ring formation between two dithio group occurs along with the elimination of one sulfur atom. The elimination of sulfur atom occurs via two electron oxidation process at +0.98V vs. Ag/AgCl electrrode. However, the cyclization does not occur in the S-CH₃acdc.

      • 유방암의 뇌하수체 전이에 의한 양안 시력소실 1 예

        Pituitary gland metastasis is a rare clinical diagnosis, usually made in the setting of known primary systemic cancer with widespread metastasis to other organs. But visual loss as a presenting symptom of metastasis to the pituitary gland is unusal. We report here a case of 45-year-old woman who had been diagnosed as having metastatic breast cancer involving bone and liver 2 years ago, and received high dose chemotherapy with peripheral blood stem cell transplantation, developed sudden bilateral complete visual loss. At initial presentation, the patient had no light perception and no pupillary response to light in both eyes, but without evidence of panhypopituitarism, or diabetes insipidus. Brain MRI showed a large enhanced mass invasion to the cavernous sinus and extension to the suprasella portion without dura or base-of-skull metastasis. Pathologic examination showed metastatic breast cancer. Despite the transsphenoidal decompression surgery of metastatic tumor, the visual loss was not improved.

        사후분해 시체에 대한 법의학적 접근

        Disposal of a homicide victim by dismemberment is rare, but individual cases are on record in most major medicolegal departments. Recognition of postmortem mutilation may be of importance in the interpretation of certain murders committed by sexual perverts and other mentally deranged individuals and sometimes performed for the sole reason of easier disposal of the body. Postmortem dismemberment is usually readily recognizable as such; The edges of the injuries are dry and lack evidence of bleeding. The joints may be disarticulated without fracture, or the use of an axe or saw may be evident from examination of bones. Parallel horizontal or oblique furrows in the bone surface are caused by skipping of the saw prior to establishing depth. Such patterns on the bone may assist in identifying the particular saw involved. So we report 25 dismembered corpses that autopsied in National Institute of Scientific Investigation. This paper can help in attempting to establish not only the first criminal investigation steps but also the medicolegal approach methods in unidentified and dismembered deaths.

      • 폐굴껍질을 산성토양 적용시 토양의 화학적 특성변화에 관한 기초 연구

        Oyster shell has caused environmental problems in the coast. But it is possible to be used as an acidic soil amendment because it is the alkalic material of pH 9.0. In order to evaluate the utility of the crushed oyster shell as a soil amendment, acidic sandy loam soil was amended with it and then Chinese cabbages were cultivated in pots. The amount of the oyster shell was ⅰ)none, ⅱ)0.5kg/㎥, ⅲ)1.0kg/㎥, ⅳ)1.5kg/㎥, ⅴ)2.0kg/㎥ and ⅵ)2.3kg/㎥. The particle size of oyster shell consists of 34.88% of 40∼100mesh and 14.98% of larger than 100 mesh. It increased pH and the contents of available P₂O_(5) and SiO₂ and exchangeable Ca in used soil The application of oyster shell also increased the height and diameter of Chinese cabbages.
