최소자승법을 이용한 다수 베타 방출 핵종 혼합물의 방사능 분석

베타선 스펙트럼의 최대 에너지가 확실하게 구별되는 2개의 핵종만을 포함하는 혼합시료의 경우에는 최대 에너지가 다르다는 점을 이용하여 손쉽게 각 핵종의 방사능값을 측정할 수 있다. 그러나 3개 이상의 베타 방출 핵종이 포함된 혼합물에 대해서는 각 핵종의 스펙트럼이 서로 겹치기 때문에 이러한 방법으로 구해진 방사능값은 신뢰도가 떨어지게 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 최소자승법을 이용하여 혼합물의 중첩된 베타선 스펙트럼을 각각 분리 정량분석할 수 있는 밥법을 제시하였다. 또한, 실제로 4개의 베타 방출 핵종 ^3H, ^14C, ^16Cl, 90Sr)이 혼합된 사료를 조제하여 본 분석법을 검증한 결과 최고치 Reference value)와 분석치가 7% 이내에서 잘 일치함을 보였다. It is possible to count and perform quench correction on two β-label samples so long as the maximum β-energies are sufficiently different. However, when the coventional technique is applied to the radioassay of a mixture of more than three nuclides, the reliability of the activiteis determined is considerably reduced, resulting from the large overlapping of liquid scintillation pulse height distributions of ezch nuclide. A technique that allows the activities of multiple β-labeled samples to be radioassayed was proposed by using the least square method. The technique was applied to mixture samples of ^3H, ^14C, ^16Cl, and ^90Sr. The analytical values were in good agreement with the reference values within 7% relstive error.
마이크로 컴퓨터에 의한 심전도 데이타 압축 알고리즘의 개선

This paper represents an improved ECG data reduction algorithm which is very useful for real time ECG analysis based-on microcomputer. In order to increase data reduction rate of Turning Point(TP), existing real time data reduction algorithm. The results obtained from the improved Modified Turning point(MTP) data reduction algorithm applied to three different pattern ECG signals. (1) The average data reduction rate of MTP algorithm is 67%, which is increased by 17% than that of TP algorithm. (2) The average percent rms difference(APRD) which is a normalized value that indicates the error between two signals is 9.4% for TP algorithm, while the APRD of MTP algorithm is 6.2% for MTP algorithm. It means that the PRD can be improved by 3.19. Therefore, it gives more excellent resolution than that of TP algorithm.

There has been an increased interest in the Longitudinally Profiled(LP) plate as a structural element for bridges, due to its advantage to efficiently distribute the sectional force applied to the structure. The advantage also includes the reduction of weight and the number of welding points. The LP plate was originally developed in Europe, and the application has since increased rapidly on steel bridges in Europe and Japan. Though widely used internationally, much of the study for the structural application of the LP plate is yet to be performed. In this paper, the workability of the LP plate was evaluated by the tests for tensile and bending. In addition, the stability was reviewed and verified by a comparison between experimental and analytical results. The economical efficiency was also examined for different section types by finite element analysis.

고분자 습도센서의 감습재료로 이용하고자 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP) 과 methylmethacrylate(MMA) 의 공중함체를 전극에 도포한 후 α, ω-dihaloalkane으로 4 차 암모늄화시킨 후 습도변화에 따른 전기저항을 측정한 결과 소수성 모노머인 MMA의 양이증가할 수록 전기저항이 증가하였으며, 또한 α, ω-dihaloalkane에 의한 4차 암모늄화 반응시간에 따라서도 전기저항의 크기 및 감습막의 안정성에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. In order to for a humidity sensitive material of polymeric humidity sensor, a copolymer of 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP) and methylmethacrylate (IBA) is coated on the electrode and then 4 quartermization by α, ω-dihaloalkane, and thereafter measured the electrical resistance due to humidity variation. As a result, the more content of MMA which is a hydrophobic monomer is increased, the more property of electrical resistance is increased. Also, according to the reaction time in 4 quarternization by α, ω-dihaloalkane we can see the diferences of the magnitude of electrical resistance and the stability of humidity -sensitive membrane.
사회인지론에 근거한 낮병원 정신질환 입원환자 대상비만 예방 및 관리를 위한 영양교육 효과평가

Mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression have shown high prevalence of obesity. According to the previous studies, nutrition education has therapeutic effects on patients, however mentally ill patients rarely have opportunities of long term nutrition education. In this study, nutrition education based on the social cognitive theory was conducted. Patients with mental illness received education program once a month during 18 months in a day hospital. Fifteen patients were included and divided into two groups according to the attendance rate. Results showed that the group attended the education more than 10 times showed weight loss, while the group less than 10 times showed weight gain. Five long-term hospitalized patients gained weight during one year prior to the nutrition education, but showed weight loss during one year with the nutrition education. Regardless of the number of attendance, the group of BMI≥30kg/m2 showed weight loss. Although this study has several limitations and did not obtain a statistically significant results, it confirmed the necessity of providing clinical nutrition services including nutrition education for mentally ill patients.

A 47-year old man visited our hospital because of purulent sputum for 3 months. Chest X-ray showed destruction of both the upper lungs, and bronchoscopy revealed inflammatory change with whitish plaque on the left main bronchus through upper division of the left upper lobe. Tracheobronchial aspergillosis (TBA) was finally diagnosed as a result of histologic and microbiologic examination. However, he went abroad without medication before the diagnosis was made and visited again 10 months later. Follow-up bronchoscopy showed complete regression of the previously noted endobronchial lesion. We describe this case to consider the role of antifungal treatment in immunocompetent hosts, as well as to discuss a rare condition; TBA resolved spontaneously.

<P>We report high-performance of ambipolar organic field-effect transistors (FETs) based on the low band gap copolymers of pDPPT2NAP-HD and pDPPT2NAP-OD. The polymers are composed of electron-rich 2,6-di(thienyl)naphthalene (T2NAP) and electron-deficient diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) units with branched alkyl chains of 2-hexyldecyl (HD) or 2-octyldodecyl (OD). The polymers were polymerized via Suzuki coupling, yielding optical band gaps of ∼1.4 eV. In the transistor performance test, we observed good ambipolar transport behavior in both polymer films, and pDPPT2NAP-OD displayed hole and electron mobilities 1 order of magnitude higher than the corresponding properties of pDPPT2NAP-HD. Thermal annealing of the polymer films increased the carrier mobilities. Annealing at 150 °C provided optimal conditions yielding saturated film crystallinity and maximized carrier mobility. The highest hole and electron mobilities achieved in these polymers were 1.3 and 0.1 cm<SUP>2</SUP>/(V s), respectively, obtained from pDPPT2NAP-OD. The polymer structure and thermal annealing affected the carrier mobility, and this effect was investigated by fully characterizing the polymer films by grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) experiments. The GIXD data revealed that both polymers formed highly crystalline films with edge-on orientation. pDPPT2NAP-OD, which included longer alkyl chains, showed a higher tendency to form long-range order among the polymer chains. Thermal annealing up to 150 °C improved the polymer film crystallinity and promoted the formation of longer-range lamellar structures. AFM and TEM images of the films were consistent with the GI-XD data. Theoretical calculations of the polymer structures provided a rationale for the relationship between the torsional angle between aromatic rings and the carrier mobility.
