한의학(韓醫學)의 좌우이론(左右理論)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察)

We could summerize the concept of the right and left mentioned in Nai-Gyung and some literature of oriental medicine as follow At first the right and left is a directional right and left which implys left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰), secondly it is also the road of eumyang which implys man-left-woman-right(男左女右), left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse. left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰) and man-left-woman-right(男左女右) are expressions of the movement of yang which is a core of chang, at the same time, left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse are expressions of the eum in response to the movement of yang. (go up and down of water and fire) Finally, both a directional right and left and a road of eumyang mean a road of going up and down of eumyang so, this is very important index in circulation and keeping ballance of eumyang (ki-Hyul:氣血) in the human body therefore, we can treat a disease with acupuncture in the use of this charater, for example when a disease occurs in the left side, we can treat it with acupuncture in the right side, the same applys to right.

정상교하 아동의 두개안면부 성장에 관한 종적 연구

혼합치열기 정상교합 아동 24명(남:14명 여:10명 초진 시 평균 나이 9±1.3세, 평균 관찰 기간: 13±1.3개월)에 대한 성장량을 측정하여 기능적 교정장치의 순수 치료효과를 평가하는데 도움이 되기 위해 3회(5~8개월 간격) 촬영한 측모 두부 방사선 규격 사진에 대한 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 남아는 상악골은 전하방, 하악골은 전방성장하였고, 여아는 상하악골이 전하방 성장하였다(p<0.05). 2. 상하악골의 남녀간 차이에서 수평적 성장상태는 여아가 컸고(A point 여아: 2.39mm, 남아: 1.26mm, p<0.05), 수직적 성장상태는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 상악 전치의 치축은 두개저에 대해서 순측 경사하였고(p<0.01) 하악 전치의 치축은 큰 변화가 없었다. The purpose of this study was to provide the reference data evaluating the treatment effect of orthopedic appliances. The skeletal and dental growth increments were measured in 24 normal mixed dentition children(boys: 14, girls: 10) by three serial lateral cephalograms: initial mean age: 9±1.3 years, mean observation period: 13±1.3 months, Cephalometric changes were analysed. The results were as follows: 1. In boys, the maxilla showed forward and downward growth pattern and the mandible showed forward growth pattern(p<0.05). In girls, the maxilla and mandible showed forward and downward growth pattern(p<0.05). 2. Horizontal growth of both maxilla and mandible in girls was superior to those in boys(A point: girls: 2.39mm, boys: 1.26mm, with p<0.05), whereas vertical growth of both maxilla and mandible in boys was similar to those in girls. 3. The change in tooth axis showed labioversion of upper incisor(p<0.01) and comparatively stable lower incisor position.

Academic costume is a ceremonial dress represented authority and formality. This indicates a degree in a viewpoint of personality, and symbolizes academic authority and well matched social responsibility. Besides, it emblematizes separately university's identity and tradition, and could be utilized useful culturaltools visualized national culture and tradition. That is to say, academic costume is most effect visual medium, which symbolizes our subjective culture and academic authority and phase. Accordingly, creative academic costume's development is a link of active and positive efforts to be satisfied with various needs of spearhead information society in 21C. Academic costume designing development had been progressed a public opinion survey, theoretical examination, and research on the actual condition through various actual materials. Based on the above examination, this study performs designing development of a bachelor, master, and doctor's academic costumes. Designing development of academic costumes intend to be enlarged and developed academic costume's function as a symbolic cultural tool, which includes Sookmyung women's spirit as a beginningof the racial education. Moreover, this aims at active utilizing of academic costumes as a symbolic medium expressed Sookmyung Women's University's identity, which intends to realization of the racial education establishing women's education, racial identity, and subjectivity, and represents educational objectives planning to the ruling women's bringing up.

간호사의 투약안전 역량 강화를 위한 교육요구 분석

The purpose of this study is to present basic data necessary for the development of educational programs to improve nurses' medication safety competency by analyzing educational needs. A survey was conducted on 37 clinical nurses at secondary hospitals or higher in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. As a result of analyzing the nurse's medication experience, there were no cases of administering expired drugs, but various medication errors occurred. In addition, nurses had many organizational problems in performing oral prescriptions rather than receiving regular instructions for medication. There were six items that showed the largest statistical difference between the group of important and implementation levels of nurse's medication safety competency. In addition, as a result of the Borich’s demand analysis, the highest priority items were "Measures can be established to prevent recurrence in the event of drug side effects" and "Cases can be analyzed to find the root cause of medication errors." Based on the results of this study, follow-up studies on the development of educational programs that can strengthen nurses' medication competency should be conducted.

足三里의 電鍼刺戟이 흰쥐의 中樞神經系에서 Interleukin-6의 活性에 미치는 影響 - 求心性 體感覺 情報傳達을 中心으로- : 求心性 體感覺 情保傳達을 중심으로

Objectives : Acupuncture is expected to have somewhat like the efficacy parallel increasing activity of immune system in Western modern medicine. There, already, are many animal researches on activating effect of acupuncture for the immune system in peripheral organs. So, we carried out this experiment to see whether acupuncture has controlling effect on interleukin-6(IL-6) activity in rat's brain. Methods and Results : We had topical application of IL-6(1U-1pg, 10㎕) on brain of rat. It reduced afferent sensory transmission to the primary somatosensory(SI) cortex from periphery. Whereas, electrical stimulation(ES, 2Hz, 1.5V, 15min) of ST36(足三里) with application of IL-6 prominently activated afferent sensory transmission. ES of non-acupoint(proximal tail) with IL-6 showed suppression of afferent transmission. ES of ST36 without IL-6 application also exerted facilitation of afferent transmission to the SI cortex. Conclusions : Electoacupuncture(EA) on ST36 has noticeable influences on modulating activation of IL-6 in central nervous system, which do major role in immune system.

HPLC를 이용한 고추의 품종별 Capsaicin 및 Dihydrocapsaicin 성분의 함량 분석

Five kinds of Korean red pepper-pinkish, perfect, cucumber, blue, and ground cherry-were used, respectively, to analyze the contents of Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin. The comparative analysis was performed separately in the seed removed red pepper and the seed included red pepper by HPLC. Among the seed removed pepper, the results for the content of Capsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(2204.0ppm) > pinkish(1324.9ppm) > blue(906.7ppm) > cucumber (77.2ppm) > perfect(12.9ppm), and the results for the content of Dihydrocapsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry (1004.8ppm) > pinkish(248.3ppm) > blue(165.7ppm) > cucumber(13.9ppm) > perfect(0.0ppm). Among the seed included red pepper, the results for the content of Capsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(2190.lppm) > pinkish(1324.4ppm) > blue (919.9ppm) > cucumber(79.5ppm) > perfect(11.7ppm), and the results for the content of Dihydrocapsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(1017.4ppm) > pinkish(270.6ppm) > blue(189.0ppm) > cucumber(39.4ppm) > perfect(0.0ppm). Overall results suggest that in the contents of Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin, the seed removed pepper and the seed included red pepper both were decreased in the order of ground cherry > pinkish > blue > cucumber > perfect, and this order is proportional to the strength of hot taste of red pepper.

남녀 대학생의 성지식과 태도, 성행동에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to measure the knowledge, aptitude, behavior in sex for College students in order to provide basic sex education information, more proper knowledge and healthier culture in sex. For this study, the questionnaires were given to 100 students who were 52 males and 48 females in three universities in Seoul and collected during from november 25 to november 30, 1996. These results were analyzed satistically by means of frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this analysis are as follows : 1.The universal trend of knowledge , attitude, behavior of college students in sex. 1) The level of knowledge about male related to sex was relatively high and male get higher score than female. On the other hand, the level about female related to sex was relatively low. 2) In attitude toward sex, male was more open-hearted than female. Especially, about some questions related to attitude of male's sexual intercourse, male related to sex was more open hearted. 3) On behavior in sex, generally, male experienced relatively often. Specially, male experienced masturbation and sex intercourse comparatively frequent than female. 2.The analysis ragarding variables of dynamic statistics of population. The level of sexual knowledge of the Buddhist group was relatively high than the Christian group and the group had not any religion. The buddhist groups and the group had not any religion were more open-hearted than the Roman Catholic group in the altitude related to sex. The group whose mother graduated college was more frank than the group whose mother graduated high school or middle school in sexual behavior. The group whose member engaged to marry experienced sexual behavior frequently. 3.The results regarding knowledge, attitude, behavior according to variables of dynamic statistics of population. As sexual attitude is more frank, age is older, and the relationship is more advanced, respondents experienced sexual behavior frequently. In religion, the Christian group experienced sexual behaviors realtively rare than the group had not any religion. Male have many sexual experiences than female. According to these results of this study, I am going to propose some prefactories. 1.In order to provide proper sexual knowledge, some lessons connected wish sex must be set up for college students and many counsel work is needed for the students who had sexual problems. 2.Some studies about sex education program are needed in chain of marriage preparation program.

Owing to frequent heavy rain due to abnormal weather, the occurrence of pepper anthracnose has recently increased, which affects the supply and demand of pepper. As a result, the price of red pepper powder in 2011, for example, increased three times compared to the average year. Although anthracnose of pepper plants has been controlled by fungicides until now, it is important to develop new resistant cultivars because of the reduction of the labor force in rural area and occurrence of new anthracnose strains resistant to fungicides. National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science developed two pepper lines, ‘Wonye 100005’ and ‘Wonye 100006’ that are resistant to pepper anthracnose. These lines were developed by continuous selection of progenies from a cross between ‘Wonye AR1’, which were developed from interspecific hybridization and ‘TF68’. The anthracnose resistance level of the two lines was higher than that of commercial cultivars and similar to check varieties showing highest level of anthracnose resistance.
