P2P file sharing systems are rapidly becoming one of the most popular applications, with millions of users online exchanging files daily. Although this has no doubt contributed to P2P file sharing systems growing popularity, it raises serious security concerns about the types of files that users are aware of sharing with others, and directed at overtly attacking our infrastructure. Now, these systems were studied mostly from a technological or market business model. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the casual relationships among the factors influencing the acceptance of P2P systems. The results of this study show that experience, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are the major antecedents for P2P systems' users. However, government policy, perceived risk and cost are not the major determinant for users to use P2P systems. Based upon the statistical results, this study provides some useful guidelines for adoption of P2P systems for researchers and practical managers. 개인간의 정보공유를 목적으로 시작된 P2P시스템은 개인 정보 유출 또는 시스템 파괴 등의 문제점을 유발할 수 있음에도 불구하고 P2P시스템사용자들은 급속히 증가하고 있다. 현재 P2P시스템에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나 P2P시스템의 비즈니스모델을 구축하는데 치우쳐져 있으며, P2P시스템수용에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구의 목적으로 P2P시스템을 수용하게 하는 외생변수를 탐색하고자 한다. 연구결과, P2P시스템수용요인으로 P2P시스템 경험, 지각된 이용용이성 그리고 지각된 유용성이 P2P수용요인으로 나타났으며 P2P시스템의 위험요인, 비용 그리고 정부의 단속의지인 정부정책은 P2P시스템수용요인으로 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결론은 P2P시스템 수용에 대한 연구자들과 실무자들에게 좋은 지침을 제공할 것이다.
