Web-Based KNHANES System in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is an internet-based technology, providing services to the virtualized IT environment,and allowing users to add or remove resources of hardware or software at their discretion. Since Cloudcomputing can construct virtually integrated environments out of multiple local computing environments,various information services can be provided by it. In addition, state organizations also strive to buildthe cloud computing environments due to the benefits of reduced costs to introduce the system andof reduced time to build and provide the IT services. This study suggests a web-based cloud computingsystem for the computing environments, to be applied for the Korean National Health and NutritionExamination Survey (KNHANES) by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea.
M2M기반 지하공간(지하철) 재난대응 네트워크 및 EL 디스플레이 통합 보드 개발

Notifying emergency evacuation methods, accurate disaster location and evacuation route guidance can be very active alternatives to quickly minimize evacuation and casualties in disaster situation in the development of subway disaster prevention detection system that detects the disaster signs at the subway station early on the basis of Internet of things and leads passengers to evacuate. It's not easy to ensure perfect functioning of fire fighting facilities and equipments due to underground space structure with narrow exits. Therefore, we developed disaster provision EL Display integrated board that can induce the most efficient evacuation and the field experiment was conducted to examine the practical application in this study. Especially the applicability was verified by field application test because there is no case in which EL panels are used to evacuate disasters. 사물 인터넷을 기반으로 지하철역사의 재난 전조를 조기에 발견하고 승객들에게 피난을 유도하는 지하철 재난전조 감지 시스템 개발에 있어서 재난 발생시 상황대피 유도방법과 정확한 재난 위치 알림 및 대피경로 안내는 재난 상황에 빠른 대피와 인명피해를 최소화 할수 있는 매우 적극적인 대안이 될 수 있다. 좁은 출구밖에 없는 지하공간 구조상 소방 시설 및 장비들의 완벽한 작동을 담보하기란 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대피를 가장 효율적으로 유도할 수 있는 재난대응 EL Display 통합 보드를 개발하였으며 이를 현장 실험을 통해 실제 활용성에 대한 검토를 실험하였다. 특히, EL패널을 재난 대피유도용으로 활용한 사례가 없어 현장적용테스트를 거쳐 그 활용 가능성을 검증하였다.
Complete Atrioventricular Block due to Infective Endocarditis of Bicuspid Aortic Valve

A 38-year-old man visited our emergency department presenting with a 6-day persistent fever. The man had undergone an orthodontic procedure 7 days prior to the visit. He had a fever with a temperature of 38.2°C and a diastolic murmur (grade III)was detected at the left sternal border. Reddish-brown lines beneath the nails were present, and raised lesions which were red and painful were detected on the soles of the patient’s feet. Laboratory findings showed an elevated inflammatory marker. Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, showed a bicuspid aortic valve, and moderate aortic regurgitation and vegetation were noted. Treatment with antibiotics was given, but 4 days later, a 12 lead electrocardiogram revealed complete atrioventricular (AV) block. Immediately, a temporary pacemaker was inserted, and the following day an aortic valve replacement was performed. Intraoperative findings revealed a fistula around the AV node. He has suffered no subsequent cardiac events during the follow-up.
