BRT 정류장 형태에 따른 버스 우선 신호 효과 분석: 세종시 한누리대로를 중심으로

Modern society is steadily implementing policies to encourage public transportation to cope with the growing traffic demand on limited roads. The expectation is rising for transit signal priority to ensure the speed of buses as the installation of the bus rapid transit(BRT) expands nationwide to secure the competitiveness of buses. On the other hand, the form of BRT stops without considering some aspects of bus operation may increase the number of stops on the bus, thereby reducing the effectiveness of bus signal priority applications. This study suggests the type of bus stop to increase the operation efficiency of buses by analyzing the bus signal priority effect according to the BRT station type using Hannuri-daero, Sejong. The bus signal priority is used to maximize the two-way bandwidth of passenger cars and buses. As a result of the application, the effectiveness of the bus signal priority at the stop causing the double stop of the bus was reduced drastically, and the efficiency of the bus signal priority was increased significantly after improvement. These results are expected to be used as basic data in the form of proper bus stops considering the aspects of traffic operation when designing BRT stops in new towns in the future.
비연성 철근콘크리트 건물의 내진설계범주에 따른 붕괴 위험성 평가

Existing old reinforced concrete buildings could be vulnerable to earthquakes because they were constructed without satisfying seismic design and detail requirements. In current seismic design standards, the target collapse probability for a given Maximum Considered Earthquake (MCE) ground-shaking hazard is defined as 10% for ordinary buildings. This study aims to estimate the collapse probabilities of a three-story, old, reinforced concrete building designed by only considering gravity loads. Four different seismic design categories (SDC), A, B, C, and D, are considered. This study reveals that the RC building located in the SDC A region satisfies the target collapse probability. However, buildings located in SDC B, C, and D regions do not meet the target collapse probability. Since the degree of exceedance of the target probability increases with an increase in the SDC level, it is imminent to retrofit non-ductile RC buildings similar to the model building. It can be confirmed that repair and reinforcement of old reinforced concrete buildings are required.
Accidental Extrusion of Sodium Hypochlorite during Endodontic Treatment in a Primary Tooth

Although sodium hypochlorite is the most frequently used canal irrigant during endodontic treatment, its complications are not as well recognized as its effectiveness. This report demonstrates that sodium hypochlorite extrusion during endodontic treatment can cause severe complications. A 5-year-old boy experienced immediate pain and swelling, ecchymosis in surrounding tissues, and profuse bleeding from the root canal during endodontic treatment, because of accidental extrusion of sodium hypochlorite. The patient was hospitalized, and analgesics and antibiotics were prescribed. Accidental extrusion of the irrigating solution occurs more frequently in teeth with immature apices, root resorption, and apical perforations; therefore, caution is needed. When such complications occur, proper management and medications are needed.

■ Objectives The purpose is to review the application of the Kampo medicine(traditional Japanese medicine) in the neurosurgical field, through the analysis of the studies are presented at the Annual Meeting of Kampo Medicine Association of the Japan Neurosurgical Society. ■ Methods We have reviewed the studies that were reported at the 21th annual meeting of the Kampo medicine association of the Japan neurosurgical society was held on November 3 2012 in Tokyo, Japan. Seventeen included clinical reports were analyzed among all 25 studies at the meeting. Five studies were related with headache and eight were focused on the cerebrovascular disease including chronic subdural hemorrhage(CSDH) treated with Orungsan(Goreisan: 五苓散) or Siryungtang(Saireto: 柴苓湯), and other four were for pain managements. In the matters of headache, a unique feature was that Osuyutang(Gosyuyuto: 吳茱萸湯) or Oryungsan was considered as the first choice of the treatment for the headache, unlike Korea. It seems to consider to application the treatment of CSDH using Oryungsan in neurosurgery field of Korea. In addition, herbal prescription using Jackyakgamchotang(Syakuya kukanzoto: 芍藥甘草湯), Ukgansan(Yokkansan: 抑肝散), Chitabakilbang(Jidabokuippo: 治打撲一方) for acute/chronic pain is as well one of the peculiar points of Kampo medicine in Japan. ■ Conclusion It is expected that the recent studies performed in Japan neurosurgery fields to inspire domestic research and clinical applications, and needed to additional research and utilize in practice in Korea.

Converting vacant lands for urban agriculture has become a popular topic for American cities to engage in on a program and policy level. The advocates of urban agriculture cite a number of potential benefits, ranging from promoting sustainable urban development, fostering social interaction and educational opportunities, regenerating neighborhoods, and empowering residents. With the emergence of vacant lands in South Korea, different strategies have been implemented for productive use. Nonetheless, less attention has been paid to reinvent vacant lands for urban agriculture. Therefore, this study has examined the case of the City of Milwaukee's vacant land initiatives and programs that were known to have brought a series of positive neighborhood revitalization outcomes. Compared to the case of Milwaukee, intensive land use and high property prices have turned to be the major actors that prevent an active use of vacant land for urban agriculture within the context of South Korean cities. Thus, this paper proposes the possibility of using vacant lands in apartment complexes for urban agriculture.

Arrival management is a tool which provides efficient flow of traffic and reduces ATC workload by determining aircraft's sequence and schedules while they are in cruise phase. As a decision support tool, arrival management should advise on air traffic control service based on the understanding of human factor of its user, air traffic controller. This paper proposed a prediction model for air traffic controller sequencing strategy by analyzing the historical trajectory data. Statistical analysis is used to find how air traffic controller decides the sequence of aircraft based on the speed difference and the airspace entering time difference of aircraft. Logistic regression was applied for the proposed model and its performance was demonstrated through the comparison of the real operational data.

In this study, we first define user requirements to fulfill the reconnaissance and the search missions, by analyzing the system characteristics and operation environment. By investigating the design technology level, the development and procurement costs, the strong system design concepts and possible alternatives will be proposed. To analyze the system requirements, the Quality Function Deployment of the systems engineering approach will be implemented. The promising design alternatives that satisfy the user requirements are extracted by constructing the Morphological Matrix, then the best design concept will be obtained using the Pugh Concept Selection Matrix and the TOPSIS(Technique of Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution).

In a rapidly changing fashion design world, creative ideas are always required. Knowledge has been created as an art, exhibiting a new imagination that surpasses reality, while being visualized from the past. The purpose of this study is to derive types of visualization of knowledge for continuous creation of fashion design. The study consists of literature and empirical studies. ATTA, a creativity evaluation method made by Torrance applied for analyzing of Gucci fashion design collections from 2016-2017. Creativity of the Gucci collection by ATTA evaluation items are that first, a vivid idea was revealed through collection history, myths and animal and plants, second, conceptual incongruity is in the composition of the garment, third, provocative questions are the symbolism of the meaning of the text, fourth, different perspectives derive a new formative beauty through the synthesis of twisted elements, fifth, abstraction is a symbolic expression of animals and plants, sixth, synthesis is a mixture of various materials and techniques by plural inspiration, seventh, context, it is developed as a design accompanied by stories of history and myth and eighth, fantasy is fictitious animals and animals and detail. In addition, formativeness of fashion design by visualization of this knowledge was extracted with contamination, symbolism, enjoyment and fabrication. Visualization of the knowledge is expected to be used as a strategy to attract ongoing ideas for creative fashion designs.
해시태그를 통한 감정 공유가 지각된 관심 끌기와 사회적 상호작용성에 미치는 영향

소셜 미디어를 통한 감정 공유가 증가하고 있다. 감정공유는 타인의 공감을 얻고 ‘좋아요’나 댓글과 같은 사회적 상호작용을 증가시키기 위해 이루어진다. 그러나 지나친 감정 공유로 인해 오히려 타인의 공감을 얻지 못하고 관심 끌기라고 판단되는 경우가 나타나고 있다. 관심 끌기를 목적으로 한다고 판단되는 게시물에 대해 사용자들은 공감하지 못하고 사회적 상호작용을 줄이게 된다. 관심 끌기라고 판단하게 되는 원인 중 하나로 해시태그(#)를 통한 감정 공유가 있다. 기존의 해시태그는 게시물의 주제를 나타내는 키워드로 주로 사용되었으나 최근에는 직접적인 감정 공유의 수단으로도 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해시태그가 강조성과 보편성이라는 수사적 기능을 수행하며 이러한 기능이 감정 공유에 있어 관심 끌기라고 판단하게 되는데 영향을 줄 것이라고 생각하였다. 이러한 관계를 알아보기 위해 본 연구에서는 해시태그를 통해 감정을 공유하는 가상의 게시물을 제작하여 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 관심 끌기를 목적으로 하고 있다고 생각될수록 게시물에 대한 ‘좋아요’ 수가 감소함을 확인하였다. 또한 공유된 감정이 강조되었고 보편적이지 않다고 생각될수록 관심 끌기라고 판단하는 것으로 나타났다. Emotion sharing on social media is flourishing. People share their feelings to increase social interactions such as ‘like’ and comment. Due to the excessive sharing, however, some people have failed appealing and perceived as attention seekers. People do not empathize with an attention seeking post and decrease the number of social interaction. Emotion shared with hashtag(#) is a classic example which is perceived as an attention seeking. Although hashtag has usually represented a keyword of a post, recently it becomes an emotion delivering method. In this study, we hypothesized that the rhetorical function of hashtag affects the judgment of attention seeking. To verify the hypotheses, we conducted a survey with prototype system. The result indicated that as people perceived the post as attention seeking, the number of ‘like’ decreased. In addition, people tend to judge the post as attention seeking, when they think shared emotion is emphasized and unique.
인터랙티브 아트에서 관람자의 서사적 몰입을 위한 현존하는 캐릭터 활용에 대한 연구

본 연구는 인터랙티브 아트 체험 과정에서 관람자의 서사적 몰입을 유도하기 위해 현존하는 캐릭터’의 유용성을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 과정은 물리적 현존감을 중심으로 진행되고 있는 기존 연구를 보완하여 인터랙티브 아트에서 상호작용성과 서사성의 조화를 이루는 스토리텔링 구조 구축에 필요하다. 이를 위해 사회적 현존감과 사회적 사실주의, 대체 현실 게임에 관한 선행 연구를 통해 현존하는 캐릭터의 개념을 새롭게 제시한다. 이후 대체 현실의 개념을 적용한 현대 미술과 대체 현실 게임 작품 사례를 분석하여 인터랙티브 아트 스토리텔링에서 현존하는 캐릭터의 활용 방향을 제시하고자 했다.
