      • 퇴행성 요추질환에 대한 편측성 후방 추체간 유합술(1개의 cage를 이용한) 및 척추경 나사못 고정술

        Objective: The puspose of this study was to determine the efficacy of unilateral posterior lumbar interbody fusion (Hemi-PLIF) by using one cage for the patients with focal type of degenerative lumbar diseases. Materials and Methods: The authors reviewed clinical and radiologic data of 43 patients with focal type of degenerative lumbar diseases who were performed unilateral Hemi-PLIF during the period between November 2000 and June 2003. The operation procedure was unilateral hemi-PLIF using titanium cages with transpedicular screw fixation. Results: The mean follow-up period was 11.2 months. The mean operation time was 197 minutes and the average estimated blood loss was 285mL. The clinical success rate according to Prolo's scale was achieved in 89.3%. of patients and the solid bony fusion was occurred in 96.4%. There were 2 patients of postoperative complications such as superficial infection and screw malposition. Conclusion: This procedure has been found to be an effective and safe procedure with rare complication. To compared with bilateral PLIF, less operation time, less blood loss, more fusion rate is noted.

      • 콩나물 생장중 세포벽 비섬유성 중성당의 변화

        본 연구는 콩나물의 물성에 미치는 콩나물 성장시 세포벽 다당류를 구성하고 있는 비섬유성 중성당의 변화를 조사하였다. 자엽부 세포벽의 중성당 조성은 rhamnose, fucose, arabinose, xylose, mannose, galactose, glucose 등이었고 주요 중성당은 galactose, arabinose, xylose 이었다. 배축부의 구성 중성당의 조성은 자엽부와 동일하였고, 성장함에 따라 대부분의 당이 감소하였고, 그 중에서도 galactose는 성장에 따라 현저히 감소하였으며, 성장 4일과 6일에는 오히려 galactose보다 arabinose 함량이 높았다. 배축부의 총 비섬유성 중성당 함량은 성장함에 따라 감소하였다. Pectin질의 중성당은 rhamnose가 CBP보다 IAP에서 많았고, galactose는 CBP에 많았으며, 성장함에 따라 IAP와 CBP의 arabinose는 자엽부와 배축부에서 다같이 증가하였다. Hemicellulose의 주용 중성당은 자엽부에서는 glucose, rhnmnose, galactose,xylose이었고 알칼리가용성 hemicellulose의 rhamnose 함량은 산가용성 hemicellulose에 비해 낮았으며, 성장중 galactose의 함량이 현저히 감소하였다. This study was carried out to changes and composition of the non-cellulosic neutral sugars in soybean sprouts during growth. The composition of non-cellulosic neutral sugars in cell wall of soybean sprouts were rhamnose, fucose, xylose, arabinose, mannose, galactose and glucose. The galactose contents of cell wall were higher than other non-cellulosic neutral sugars, and was remarkly decreased during growth. The major non-cellulosic sugars of pectic substances were rhamnose, arabinose, and galactose. The arabinose contents of pectic substance were increased in cotyledon and hypocotyl during growth. The contents of non-cellulosic neutral sugars were in hypocotyl during growth. The galactose contents of pectic substance were higher in cotyledon than those in hypocotyl associated pectic substances than those in covalently bounded pectic substances, arabinose and galactose. The galactose of hemicellulose was decreased remarkably during growth.

        치아 우식증의 조기 진단을 위한 QLF-D 개발

        QLF-D system composed with DSLR(digital single-lens reflex) camera, and the images of natural enamel caries and artificial caries was developed from 2 days to 14 days captured by QLF-D system. The correlation between lesion depth of the polarized microscope and luminosity ratio of QLF-D image was analyzed and the results were summarized as follows: 1. The Pearson correlation value between the lesion depth of polarized microscope images and luminosity ratio of QLF-D images was 0.969(p<0.01). 2. From Regression analysis of lesion depth from polarized image by demineralized period, the equation was y = 8.67x - 1.16(p<0.05). 3. From Regression analysis of luminosity ratio from QLF-D image by demineralized period, the equation was y = 3.53x + 6.42(p<0.05). From the results, QLF-D system can detect the enamel caries at the very early stage and can monitor the progression of demineralization and remineralization. For the convenient use of QLF-D system in the laboratory, the image analysing software was needed to analyze of interest site of enamel caries lesion. 저자는 DSLR(digital single-lens reflex) 카메라를 이용한 QLF-D 시스템을 고안하여, 사람의 유구치에 자연 발생된 법 랑질 초기 우식증을 관찰하고, 유구치 법랑질 시편을 대상으로 2일부터 14일까지 인공 탈회시킨 후 탈회 기간에 따른 상관관 계를 편광 현미경 소견과 비교 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 탈회 기간에 따른 편광 현미경 상의 병소 깊이와 QLF-D 영상의 광밀도 값 비율 간의 피어슨 상관 계수는 0.969였다 (p<0.01). 2. 편광현미경에서 측정된 병소 깊이의 탈회 기간에 대한 회귀분석 결과 y=8.67x-1.16의 회귀 방정식이 산출되었다 (p<0.05). 3. QLF-D 영상에서 측정된 광도값 비율의 탈회 기간에 대한 회귀분석 결과 y=3.53x+6.42의 회귀 방정식이 산출되었다 (p<0.05).

      • 해양레저스포츠 진흥 방안 고찰

        본 연구는 해양레저스포츠 관련 용어를 정의하고, 특성, 가치, 현황 및 문제점, 진흥방안에 대해 고찰하였다. 해양레저스포츠는 ‘바다, 강, 호소와 그 접안지역에서 이루어지는 스포츠나 레저의 성격을 띤 모든 신체활동’이라고 정의할 수 있다. 해양레저스포츠는 기후의 영향을 받고 전문기술이 요구되는 특성이 있으며, 국민의 진취적 기상을 고취하는 정신적 가치를 비롯하여 경제적 가치, 사회문화적 가치를 가지고 있다. 해양레저스포츠를 진흥시키기 위해 정책분야에서는 관련 부처 간 유기적 협조가 필요하며, 전문 공무원을 특채하여 활용해야 하고, 관련 기업의 기술개발 및 세제 등을 지원해야 한다. 교육분야는 체계화되고 객관화된 전문 지도자 양성체제를 구축하고, 대상별로 적합한 프로그램을 개발해야 한다. 시설/장비 분야는 시설의 효과적인 건설과 장비 개발 및 보완, 판매, 렌탈 등에 있어 해양레저스포츠를 전공한 전문가가 아니면 최적의 발전을 기대하기 어려우므로 관련분야 진출과 육성을 위해 노력하고 각계와 적극 협조해야 하며, 서비스 분야는 관광, 숙박, 요식, 정보 안내, 기념품업 등에 있어 관광 패키지 상품을 중심으로 활성화시켜야 할 것이다. This article was to review previous literatures on definition, characteristic, value, status, problem and development plan. The definition of marine leisure Sports is all kinds of physical activity, which has sports' and leisure's character, is occurred at sea, river, lakes, marshes and its pier region. The marine leisure Sports is affected by climate and needs hightech skill. It has spirit of enterprise, economic and sociocultural values. For development of marine leisure Sports, in policy, it needs close cooperation between related ministries, must be employed public servant who has specialty and Government must support technical development, tax reduction, etc. In education, it needs systemic and objective system for fostering special director, and various optimal program for participants. In equipment and device, it needs specialist for effective constructuring of equipment and device, sales and rental, so students must try for entering and government for upbringing. In service, it needs develop various tour package program.

      • 유산균의 배양 및 건조조건에 관한 연구 : 제1보 유산균의 배양조건에 관한 연구 partⅠ.Optimum Cultural Conditions of Lactic Acid Bacteria

        In order to use as a starter after drying, optimum growth conditions of Str. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus were investigated. The results were as follows. The growth of Str. thermophilus was reached at stationary phase after 12 hours incubation and L. bulgaricus was after 6 hours. Str. thermophilus was grown well, in the medium containing 10% of skim milk, 2%5 of sucrose, 0.1% of KCl and 0.015%(v./v.) of soy-sauce. In the case of L. bulgaricus, 10% of skim milk, 2% of glucose, 0.5% of bacto-peptone, 0.1% of K₂HPO₄ and 0.02% of pyridoxine was suitable for the maximum growth.

      • 瀉白散의 肥滿細胞 嫫介性 炎症性 細胞活性物質 分泌 抑制 效果

        Ocjective : Sabaeksan has been used for the purpose of prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma and allergic asthma in korea. Methods : To investigate the biological effect of Sabaeksan, the author examined cytotoxicity and inflammatory cytokines secretion with human leukemic mast cell line, HMC-1. HMC-1 was stimulated with phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) and calcium ionophore A23187. Sabaeksan by itself had no effect on viability of HMC-1. Result : The effects of Sabaeksan on the secretion of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin (IL)-6 from HMC-1 were evaluated with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Sabaeksan (1 mg/㎖) inhibited PMA plus A23187-stimulated TNF-α and IL-6 secretion, by 43.86 ± 5.26%, 56.39 ± 3.65%, respectively. Sabaeksan also inhibited the NF-κB (p50/p65) expression. Conclusion : Taken together, these results suggest that Sabaeksan inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines in HMC-1 cells through blockade of NF-κB activation.

        한국인의 구강위생용품 사용실태에 관한 조사연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the actual state of Koreans' behavior about the use of oral hygiene devices and to collect the baseline data for developing appropriate educational objectives to improve dental health. Questionnaires were used to personally interview 1,685 residents in Korea. The obtained results were as fallows; 1. Average head size of toothbrushes was 23.2㎜ in children, 28.2㎜ im adults. 2. The averagep percent of using dentifrice containing fluoride at home was 66.7% in children, 71.4% in adults. 3. The average percent of using orthodontic toothbrushes was 50.5% in orthodontic patients, and the average percent of using interdental burshes was only 16.9% in orthodontic patients. 4. The average percent of using dental floss was 22.3% in periodontic patients, and the average percent of using interdental brushes was 16.5% in periodonitc patients. 5. The patients usually use oral hygiene devices by means of dentals' suggestions and commercial advertisement. 6. Generally few people use auxiliary oral hygiene devices. To improve the oral health starus effectively, more improved and correct informations and materials should be provide to dentists, dental hygienists and patients.

      • 마스낵 제조를 위한 당절임 공정의 최적화

        대부분의 마는 건조분말제품으로 가공되고 있는데, 마를 다양한 가공품으로 개발하기 위한 방법의 하나로 삼투건조라는 전처리를 행하여 건조에 의한 품질손상을 억제하고 단맛으로 기호성을 높인 건조 마 제품을 얻을 수 있는 당절임 공정의 최적화를 시도하여 최적조건을 얻고자 하였다. 침지시간을 3-7시간, 온도는 20-60℃, 당농도는 30-70%로 하는 중심합성계획법으로 실험을 설계하여 최적화하였다. 이때의 종속변수로는 침지 후 수분함량, 당도, 색도, 그리고 동결건조후의 수분함량과 재수화율로 하여 분석한 결과 동결건조 후 수분함량에 대해서는 유의성이 없었다. 세 가지의 공정변수 중 온도의 영향이 가장 적어 온도를 중심으로 고정한 후 침지시간과 당농도의 최적조건을 찾은 결과, 수분함량을 66-70%, 당도를 25-30%, L 75이상, a-2.1-2.4, b를 5이상 그리고 재수화율을 200-250을 제한 조건으로 하는 조건으로 하는 영역은 5.2-5.9시간, 56-61%로 나타났다. This study was conducted to the optimize sugaring process of yam for development of new snack product and enhancement acceptability. Three variables by five level central composite design and response surface methodology were used to determine optimum conditions for sugaring time, temperature and concentration. Optimization of the process was conducted using the combination of the moisture content, solid content, color and rehydration ratio. The regression polynomial model was suitable (P>0.05) model by Lack-of-Fit analysis with highly significant. To optimize the process, based on surface response and contour plots, superimposing the individual contour plots for the response variables. The optimum conditions for this process were 5.5 hours and 58% at 40℃ under the optimum of restricted variables as moisture content was 66 to 70, solid content was 25 to 30%, L value was above 75, a value was -2.1 to -2.4, b value was above 5 and rehydration ratio was 200 to 250.

      • 비인강폐쇄부전 환자의 언어교정을 위해 발음 보조장치를 이용한 증례

        VPI occurs when the velum and lateral and posterior pharyngeal wall fail to separate the nasal cavity from the oral cavity during deglutition and speech. There are a number of congenital and acquired conditions which result in VPI. Congenital conditions include cleft palate, submucous cleft palate and cogenital insufficiency (CPI). Acquired conditions include carcinoma of the palate or pharynx and neurologic disorders. The speech characteristics of VPI is characterized by hypernasality, nasal air emission, decreased intraoral air pressure, increased nasal air flow, decreased intelligibility. VPI can be treated with various methods that include speech therapy, surgical procedures to reduce the velopharyngeal gap, speech aid prosthesis, and combination of surgery and prosthesis. This article describes four cases of VPI treated by speech aid prosthesis and speech therapy with satisfactory result.

      • 컴퓨터 작업 시 의자 등받이 위치가 근육 활성도에 미치는 영향

        이 연구는 컴퓨터 작업시 의자 등받이 위치가 근육활성도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 36명의 근골격에 문제가 없는 성인 남녀가 참가하였으며 대상자들은 등받이가 뒤에 있는 의자와 등받이가 없는 의자, 등받이가 앞에 있는 우리들 의자를 무작위로 배정하고 동일한 컴퓨터 작업을 실시하게 하였다. 실험 중, 표면근전도기를 사용하여 의자에 따른 위등세모근, 머리널판근 그리고 척주세움근의 근활성도 변화를 측정하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 등받이가 앞에 있는 의자는 허리 근육의 부담을 줄이지만 목근육에 부담이 늘어나고 등받이가 뒤에 있는 의자와 없는 의자는 허리근육에는 다소 무리가 가지만 목근육에는 부담이 덜하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 환자의 증상에 다라 컴퓨터 작업을 하는 동안 의자 등받이의 위치를 조절하여 치료에 도움이 될 수 있다고 생각되어진다. Objective : In this study, we checked and observed people's change of body muscle and muscle activity who do computer work on different chairs. We set three kind of chairs which one is a stool and another one is the back is fixed, and the other one is the back is fixed in front of chair. Subject : Accounting for 36 health men and women, we divided these people to 3 groups and put them on the three cases(position 1, position 2, position 3). We measured muscle activity of upper trapezius, Splenius Cervics, Erector Spinae from the groups by using surface electromyogram system. Methods : The standard of the electromyogram was 'reference voluntary contraction', and we carried out 'one way anova' to compare muscle activity of three groups. Results : In position 1, reference voluntary contraction of upper trapezius muscle activity was 123.2821%, Splenius Cervics was 141.7526%, and Erector Spinae was 254.5233%. In position 2, reference voluntary contraction of upper trapezius muscle activity was 132.9395%, Splenius Cervics was 141.7526%, and Erector Spinae was 246.6540%. In position 3, reference voluntary contraction of upper trapezius muscle activity was 190.6487%, Splenius Cervics was 270.2332%, and Erector Spinae was 182.1021%. Both upper trapezius and Splenius Cervics muscle activity of position 3 group was higher than the others groups. In position 1 group, Erector Spinae muscle activity was hight than the other groups. And either was position 2 group's(p<0.05). Conclusion : Therefore the chair which is the back is fixed in front is more comfortable for waist muscle but it's not good for neck. And the other chairs are better in waist muscle but not in neck muscle. So far, when we do a computer work, it's prefer to sit on the group 1&2's chairs to reduce neck muscle's stress and sit on group 3's chair to reduce waist muscle's stress.
