This paper was performed to investigate the satellite DNA of human chromosome 1, 9, 16 and Y on male Korean by high-resolution banding and densitometric graph method. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The satellite DNA Ⅰ was observed the short arm peak of the centromere circumference of each chromosome. 2) The satellite DNA Ⅱ appeared the short arm peak of the centromere neighborhood on the 1, 9, and 16 chromosome. 3) The satellite DNA Ⅲ was presented the long arm peak of the contromere circumference of the 1, 9, and 16 chromosome. 4) The high peak of each chromsome was infered the heterochrochromain region, but the low peak was infered the euchromatin.
Chlorambucil이 수컷 생쥐의 Sertoli 세포의 미세구조에 미치는 영향

This study was investigated the effect of chlorambucil (Leukeran) on the Sertoli cell of male mouse by electron microscope. Chlorambucil suspended in the 0.5N sodium bicarbonate (pH 8.0) was injected into the male mouse by intraperitoneal at doses level (16mg/kg) for one week, 3 weeks, respectively. The results were as follows; 1. One week after adminstration of chlorambucil, swelling and their inner cristae distruption of some mitochondria, mild vacuolation of cytoplasm, moderate dilation of smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER) were presented. But, lipid droplet and secondary lysosome were severely increased. 2. After 3 weeks, the dilation of SER and vacuolation of some cytoplasm, the swelling and inner cristae destruption of most mitochondria were appeared. The lipid droplet and lysosome were midly increased. 3. After 5 weeks, most mitochondria were swelling and their membrane were almost disrupted. The dilation of SER and vacuolation of most cytoplasm were almost severely increased. But lipid droplet and lysosome were not observed. As a results, the duration of the chlorambucil administration is longer, the degeneration of the cytoplasm organelles is increased in comparison with control group. On the other hand, nucleus is not degenerated.

Water in oil (W/O) emulsion was prepared from aqueous hydrochloric acid solution and xylene containing both benzoyl acetone as a carrier and Span 80 as a surfactant. After dispersing W/O emulsion into a third aqueous phase, external buffer solution dissolving copper ion, water in oil in water (W/O/W) emulsion was manufactured. Copper ion extraction was performed using this W/O/W emulsion system. Effects of characteristic of external aqueous solution on emulsion stability were investigated and optimum extraction conditions were determined using the results of extraction experiment. Optimum conditions were as follows; surfactant concentration was 2wt. %, internal aqueous hydrochloric acid concentration 0.3M, carrier concentration 0.02M, stirring speed 200 rpm, pH of external aqueous buffer solution 5.5 and volume ratio of external aqueous buffer solution to emulsion phase 6. When initial copper concentration of external aqueous buffer solution was 500 ppm, copper ion could be removed to 99% from external solution in 30 min.

Fatigue crack growth tests were conducted on 26 CT specimens of 7075 Aluminum alloy under identical loading conditions of constant amplitude loads. Fatigue crack propagation law, da/dN=C(△K)m was applied to each specimen and the statical characteristics of C and m among specimen were studied. As results, m follows a normal distribution and C follows a log-normal distribution approximately and strong negative linear correlation on the semi-log axes exists between m and log C, so it can be expressed as C=A*Bm . The average of m is 2.729, the standard deviation is 0.27 and the coefficient of variation is 0.099. The average of log C is -14.93. the standard deviation is 0.618, and the coefficient of variation is 0.041. The Fatigue crack propagation life N from certain crack length a1 to a2 follows a log-normal distribution approximately. And the coefficient of variation of N was about 0.15

A mathematical model for facilitated transport simultaneously taken account of both the formation reaction of copper complex at the external aqueous solution and internal diffusion of the complex in the liquid membrane was developed and compared with the experimental data. Overall reaction equilibrium constant was estimated to be 6×10exp(-10) by fitting the model equations to the experimental data. The formation rate of copper complex was confirmed to be nearly first order with respect to the copper ion concentration. More studies on the reaction order of the hydrogen ion concentration, however, seem to be required. First of all, kinetic studies should be performed to obtain more accurate reaction rate equation for the development of the extraction processes in the future.
