        1998년과 2007년 사이 12∼13세 남녀 청소년의 체격, 골격성숙도, 체력 비교

        The purpose of the present investigation was to compare physique, skeletal maturation and physical fitness in Korean adolescents measured between 1998 and 2007. Subjects participated in the study were a total of 473 Korean adolescents aged 12 to 13 years. In 1998, 349 adolescents were selected from a middle school, located in Sungnam city and 124 middle school students aged 12-13, located in Yongin city were participated in 2007. All measurements were conducted by one of the reseachers (Jong-Kook Song) with two different group of investigators between 1998 and 2007. Anthropometric characteristics were body mass, body height, sitting height, circumferences taken at sites of upper arm, flexed upper arm, chest, waist, hip, thigh, and calf, bone breadth taken at the sites of humerus, and femur, skinfold thicknesses taken at the sites of triceps, subscapular, suprailiac, thigh and medial calf. Skeletal maturity was assessed by TW3 (Tanner et al., 2001). Maturity scores for Radius-Ulna-Short bones (RUS) and bone age were calculated. Physical fitness parameters included flamingo balance, sit and reach, grip strength, sit-ups, standing long jump, bent arm hang, 50m shuttle run and multi-stage shuttle run. All data were analyzed by SAS Enterprise 3.0. Means and standard deviations were calculated by descriptive statistics. Independent t-test was applied to compare dependent variables between measurements. The level of significance was set at p<0.05. Results of the study showed that male adolescents aged 12-13years in 2007 had significantly higher (p<0.0001) femur diameter than adolescents in 1998. Male adolescents in 2007 had higher (p<0.05) chest, waist and calf circumferences than those of adolescents in 1998. Although no difference were found for RUS and bone age in males adolescents between 1998 and 2007 female adolescents in 2007 were significantly delayed for their skeletal maturity level compared to female adolescents in 1998. For physical fitness parameters male adolescents aged 12 years in 2007 performed better for flamingo balance (p<0.01), and 50m shuttle run (p<0.05) than those of adolescents in 1998. However, stand long jump and bent arm hang were significantly decreased in male adolescents in 2007. Female adolescents aged 12-13 years in 2007 had significantly higher flamingo balance, but female adolescents aged 12 years in 2007 performed significantly less for standing long jump (p<0.0001), bent arm hang (p<0.001) and speed (p<0.05) than those of female adolescents in 1998. In conclusions this study suggest that chest circumference for both male and female adolescents in 2007 was significantly higher than those in 1998. Skeletal maturity for female adolescents in 2007 were significantly delayed compared to female adolescents in 1998. Further study is needed to evaluate consistent various.

        This study was performed to design the optimal Block Type Expansion Valve through analyzing the characteristics of the Block Type Expansion Valve in automotive air conditioning system using HFC-134a. To make easy flow control and pressure drop, the main function of Block Type Expansion Valve, a preliminary experiment on 3 kinds of orifice(Rectangular Type, Diffuser Type, Cone Type) was carried out and the flow characteristics in Expansion Valve was analyzed. Based upon the results of the experiment, 2 types of Block Type Expansion Valve were installed in automotive air conditioning system using HFC-134a and the characteristics of the 2 types of Block Type Expansion Valve were analyzed and compared under variation of compressor RPM.

        식물생장조절제 Seaweed extracts(GA14)의 수도 품종간 생육 및 수량에 미치는 효과

        This study was carried out to identify the effects of seaweed extracts(GA14) on growth of two rice cultivars, Junambyo and Donganbyo. Seedling qualities of two cultivars were better in all items including heading dates at early stage treated at seedling plus 2-3 leaf stages than at single treatment of seedling. Ripening ratio of Junambyo in paddy field was increased 0.3% by seaweed extracts(GA14) treatment, but that of Donganbyo decreased 0.5%. 1,000 grain weight of Junambyo and Donanbyo by seaweed extracts(GA14) treatment was two to four grams higher and the yield of two cultivars was also higher by three to four percent. Appearance characters of two rice cultivars was high in head, while damaged, chalky and crack rate were low at seaweed extracts(GA14) treatment. Protein, moisture and amylose characteristics related to table quality of Junambyo were not different by seaweed extracts treatment, but table values was high in only treatment. Donganbyo was also similar to Junambyo, but table quality was slightly high at non-treatment.

        친수성으로 표면개질한 폴리설폰막의 투과플럭스

        실관막형 폴리설폰 막의 표면을 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA)로 코팅하였으며, 코팅인자들인 azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN)/HEMA 성분비, 용매의 종류(물, 메탄올), UV 조사시간 등이 투과플럭스에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. AIBN/HEMA/ 메탄온ㄹ 용액으로 코팅한 막이 AIBN/HEMA 성분비가 높고, UV 조사시간이 길수록 투과플럭스가 높았다. AIBN/HEMA 성분비가 낮으면 동일한 투과플럭스를 얻기 위하여 UV조사시간을 더 길게 하여야 하며, 특정한 AIBN/HEMA 성분비와 UV 조사시간에서 코팅한 막의 투과플럭스는 원래의 막(코팅하지 않은 막)보다 높게 나타났다. 또한, 오일에멀젼에 의한 fouling은 코팅한 막과 원래의 막에 모두 나타났지만, 코팅한 막의 fouling이 원래의 막 보다 현저히 낮았다. 즉, fouling 발생 후 코팅한 막의 수투과 플럭스(0.2683g/㎠ㆍmin)는 코팅하지 않은 막(0..448g/㎠ㆍmin)보다 약 6배 이상으로 높게 유지되었다. A hollow-fiber type polysulfone UF membrane was surface-coated with 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA). The effect of various coating paramters on permeation flux was investigated, such as concentration ratio of Azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN)/HEMA, solvent (water or methanol), and UV irradiation time. The membrane coated with a solution of AIBN/HEMA/methanol showed about 2.65 times higher water flux than that coated with a solution of AIBN/HEMA/water. The membrane coated with a solution of higher AIBN/HEMA ratio and a longer UV irradiation time exhibited a higher permeation flux. The membrane coated with a solution of lower AIBN/HEMA ratio needed a longer UV irradiation time for coating to get a same level of permeation flux. In order to have a greater permeation flux than uncoated membrane, the membrane should be coated with a solution of a certain AIBN/HEMA ratio and UV irradiation time. The fouling by oil emulsion occurred to both of the coated and the uncoated membrane. However, the fouling of coated membrane was much less than uncoated one; the water flux(0.2683g/㎠·min)through the coated membrane was about 6 times higher than that(0.0558g/㎠·min) through the uncoated membrane.

      • CBD법으로 제작된 Cd₁-xZnxS 박막의 전기적 및 물리적 특성 분석

        Cd1_-xZn_xS films were grown by chemical bath deposition (CBD), which is a very attractive method for low-cost and large-area solar cells. To improve the electrical conductivity of Cd1_-xZn_xS films, thin indium films(10-40nm thickness) were evaporated on the surface of Cd1_-xZn_xS films. Experimental parpmeters such as indium film thickness, Zn mole fraction, and the annealing temperature in terms of structural and electrical properties of Cd1_-xZn_xS films were investigated. The diffusion process was carried out by heating the sample in air at 150-550℃ for 20 minute. X-ray diffraction patterns of Cd1_-xZn_xS films indicate that the minimum thickness and annealing temperature for the formation of an In2O3 surface layer, which act as a barrier preventing the outdiffusion of indium, are 20nm and 350℃, respectively. This layer allows indium diffusion into the Cd1_-xZn_xS films and results in an indium-doped Cd1_-xZn_xS films. As the indium film thickness is increased, the resistivity decreases and the lowest value(0.3Ω-㎝) is obtained for Cd1_-xZn_xS films annealed at 450℃ with 40nm of the thickness.

      • 아동기 어린이들의 신체활동 프로그램 참여가 체격 및 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of a physical activity program on body she and physical performance in preschool children aged 5 years, Subjects consisted of 60 children including 30 children participated in physical activity program and 30 children attending private kindergarten as a control group. Anthropometric characteristics were body height, body weight and chest circumference. Physical performance included sit and reach long jump, shuttle run 20m one foot balance, and leg lift. All statistical analysis were carried out by the SAS computer programs, The results showed that significant increases (p<.001) can be obtained for body height, body weight and chest circumference for both groups between pre and post exercise. However, there were no differences for those variables between exercise group and control group in both pre and post exercise. For physical performance parameters exercise group showed significant increase (p<.001) for sit & reach, long jump, one foot balance and 20m shuttle run between pre and post exercise. Also, significant increase were found for flexibility (p<.01), power (p<.05) and agility (p<.05) in control group, For all variables exercise group have higher mean values than control group in post exercise. This study suggest that participation in physical activity program during childhood can influence positively physical performance.

      • Baculovirus를 이용한 Aujeszky's Disease Virus gⅢ 단백질 발현

        The g Ⅲ gene located in U_L region of Yangsan strain, a field isolate of Aujeszky's disease virus (ADV) in Korea, was cloned into pTZ18R and sequenced. The gⅢ gene consisting of 1,437 nucleotides showed 98% sequence homology with that of Becker strain, a reference strain of ADV. The gene encoding gⅢ of Yangsan strain was placed under the control of Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrosis virus (AcNPV) polyhedrin promoter, and expressed by the derived recombinant baculovirus using Spodoptera frugiperda 9 (Sf9) cells. The expressed gⅢ was a protein with molecular weight of 72kd determined by immunoprecipitation and Western blotting assay using anti-ADV polyclonal antibodies and anti-gⅢ monoclonal antibody. The partially purified gⅢ protein was utilized as antigen in the radial immunodiffusion enzyme assay (RIDEA) to detect to specific antibody against ADV in pig sera. The results indicated that the sensitivity of RIDEA with the recombinant gⅢ protein antigen (98%) was as high as that with the conventional glycoprotein antigen extracted from the ADV infected cells. In addition, the false positive and false nagative reactions in gⅢ RIDEA were significantly reduced than the conventional glycoprotein RIDEA as judged from the results of standard serum neutralization test.

        병식 평가 척도-한국판(SUMD-K)의 신뢰도와 타당도 검증

        Objectives : This study was conducted to evaluate the reliability and the validity of the Korean version of the Scale to Assessment Unawareness of Mental Disorder (SUMD-K). Methods : The subjects were 55 schizophrenic patients between ages of 26 and 58 who were recruited from the psychiatric unit of the university hospital and the out-patient clinic. The SUMD-K and insight scale of PANSS were applied to the patients. Results : The range of inter-rater (Spearman's rho) of the general items of SUMD-K were .97-.98 on the current illness and .58-.98 on the past illness. The correlation coefficient between the sum and the general items of the SUMD-K showed high scores. The concurrent validity between SUMD-K and insight item of PANSS was high (scores between .59-.96). However,the reliability and the validity of the attribution items of symptoms showed low scores compared to the current symptoms. Conclusion : The SUMD-K was confirmed in its reliability and validity. It can be a useful clinician-rating scale for evaluating insight in schizophrenic patients as well as patients with other neuropsychiatric conditions.

      • Polyvinylalcohol에 고정화한 시금치 엽록체를 이용한 광전류발생

        Photoelectric property of polyvinylalcohol(PVA)-immobilized chloroplast electrode was studied under aerobic condition. When illuminated the chloroplast/PV A/Pt, photoelectric signals were generated from the electrodes under aerobic condition. There was a good relationships between photoelectric signal intensity and chlorophyll content or photosynthetic electron transport activity of the PVA-chloroplast films over the platinum. The signal induction patterns were different at various pH of the electrolyte. These results suggest a potential use of the immobilized chloroplast films for the biological photosensor.

        Osteotome Sinus Floor Elevation Procedure를 이용한 임프란트 매식

        Maxillary sinus has an anatomic limitation to bone support available for dental implant. When there is less than 10㎜ of bone remaining between the upper alveolar ridge crest and the maxillary sinus floor, bone augmentation should be considered. In 1994, Summers reported two sinus floor elevation techniques of limmediate implant insertion, using osteotomes, for patients who have at least 5㎜ of bone remaining between the alveolar ridge crest and the maxillary sinus floor. One technique is osteotome sinus floor elevation (OSFE) procedure in which uses osteotomes to elevate the sinus floor. The other is bone-added OSFE (BAOSFE) procedure in which bone graft is added into osteotomy site. Both procedures conserve all of the remaining bone and selectively displace it upward, thereby raising sinus floor. This study was aimed to evaluate the long-term success rate of implants which had been placed by osteotome sinus floor elevation procedure. Between February 1996 and June 1998, 10 implants were placed using OSFE or BAOSFE procedures in 6 patients who had at least 6㎜ of bone remaining between the alveolar ridge crest and the sinus floor. OSFE procedures were performed in patiens, 2∼4㎜ sinus floor elevation was needed, whereas BAOSFE procedures were done in patines, more than 4㎜ sinus floor elevation was needed. During the mean follow-up period of 4 years 4 months (3 years 6 months ∼ 5 years 9 months), no implant was failed and all patients showed good functional results. OSFE and BAOSFE procedures seemed technically easier and less invasive compared to conventional sinus lift procedure. And both procedure have good success rate.
