        편백 용기묘의 묘령에 따른 생장 및 양분 흡수 특성

        편백은 우리나라 남부지역 대표적 조림 수종으로 2-2 용기묘의 조림이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 편백 용기묘의묘령(1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2묘)에 따른 엽면적비, 묘고(H)/근원경(D)비, 지상부 건중량(T)/뿌리 건중량(R)비, 묘목 품질지수, 양분흡수 특성 등을 조사하였다. 묘목의 엽면적비는 1-0묘가 30.48 cm2 g-1로 가장 크고 묘령이 증가함에 따라 28.62 cm2 g-1 에서 23.59 cm2 g-1으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. H/D율은 1-0묘가 4.41로 가장 낮은 값을 보였으며, 2-1묘 7.17, 2-2묘8.35, 2-0묘 9.05 순이었다. T/R율은 1-0묘가 4.29로 가장 크게 나타났으며, 2-1묘가 2.13으로 가장 낮은 값을 보였다. 묘목품질지수는 1-0묘 0.10, 2-0묘 0.51, 2-1묘 2.54, 2-2묘 3.06으로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 편백 용기묘의 잎, 줄기, 가지, 뿌리 등의 탄소 농도는 묘령의 증가와 뚜렷한 경향을 보이지 않았다. 양분흡수 특성 중 시비를 실시하지 않은 2-1묘의 잎 질소 농도는 0.85%로 시비를 실시한 타 묘령의 잎 내 질소 농도 1.25~1.88%에 비해 유의적으로 낮은 값을 보였다. 잎의 질소 농도와는 대조적으로 인, 칼륨, 마그네슘 농도는 시비가 실시되지 않았던 2-1묘에서도 농도의 감소가 나타나지 않아 이들 양분의 무시비에 대한 반응이 질소보다 크지 않았다. 본 연구 결과는 편백 용기묘의 묘령에 따른 생산 기준 설정이나적정 생육을 위한 양분관리에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다 This study was performed to determine the effects of Four seedling age classes ageon the characteristics of growth and nutrient uptake in Chamaecyparis obtusa container seedlings. Seedlings (1-1, 2-0, 2-1, and 2-2 seedlings) of C. obtusa grown in containers were harvested to measure specific leaf area, height (H)/root collar diameter (D) ratio, dry mass of aboveground (T)/root dry mass (R) ratio, and seedling quality index of seedlings. The specific leaf area was highest in 1-0 seedlings (30.48 cm2 g-1), whereas it decreased (from 28.62 cm2 g-1 to 23.59 cm2 g-1) with increasing seedling age. The H/D ratio increased with increasing seedling age (from 4.41 in 1-0 seedlings to 8.35 in 2-2 seedlings). The T/R ratio decreased as the seedling age increased (from 4.29 in the 1-0 seedling to 2.13 in the 2-1 seedling). The seedling quality index increased with increasing seedling age (from 0.10 for the 1-0 seedling to 3.06 for the 2-2 seedling). The carbon concentrations of seedling components (leaf, branches, stem, and roots) did not differ significantly with seedling age, whereas the nitrogen concentration of seedling components was the lowest in 2-1 seedlings, as no fertilizer was applied to discourage excessive growth of the seedlings. Phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium concentrations in 2-1 seedling components were not affected by the lack of fertilizer application. These results can be applied to determine the optimum morphological characteristics and nutrient management by seedling age in container- grown C. obtusa.

        신간척지에서 벼 기계이앙재배에 적합한 모 종류 구명

        본 연구는 신간척지에서 벼 기계이앙재배시 염 피해가 적으면서 안정적인 쌀수량 확보를 위하여 모 종류를 어린모, 치묘, 중묘, 폿트묘로 새로 조성된 간척지인 새만금 계화포장에 이앙하여 수행한 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 2년 평균 토양염농도는 이앙전 0.16%에서 환수후 이앙 직후에는 0.04%로 낮아졌다. 2. 모 종류별 출수기는 폿트묘 이앙이 8월 14일인데 비해중묘이앙은 2일, 치묘이앙은 3일, 어린모이앙은 5일 늦게 출수되었다. 3. 도복관련형질에서 중묘이앙이 도복지수가 가장 높아 포장도복 역시 중묘이앙이 반도복 정도 되었다. 4. 수량구성요소를 보면 이앙모 종류별 등숙비율과 현미천립중은 비슷하였고, 주당수수는 치묘>어린모>폿트묘>중묘이앙 순으로 많았으며, 쌀수량은 어린모=치묘>폿트묘>중묘이앙 순으로 많았다. 5. 이앙모 종류별 쌀 품질에서 완전립비율은 치묘>중묘=어린모>폿트묘 순으로 높았고, 아밀로스함량과 단백질 함량은 이앙모 종류간 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로 새로 조성된 간척지에서 벼를 기계이앙재배할 때 안정적인 쌀 수량 확보를 위한 적정 이앙모는 어린모와 치묘가 적합하다고 판단된다. This research was carried out to choose the suitable seedling type to transplanting in order to stabilize rice yield. The brief of this research to transplant the seedling divided into 10-day seedling, 20-day seedling, 30-day seedling, 33-day pot seedling in the field of Saemangeum Gyehwa, newly reclaimed land were following; Average salt content in 2 years was reduced from 0.16% to 0.04% after transplanting. Heading date of seedling type was Aug. 14 at 33-day pot seedling compared to 2 days at 30-day seedling, 3 days at 20-day seedling, 5 days late at 10-day seedling. Lodging index was highest at 30-day seedling, and also, field lodging was 50%. Ripening ratio and 1,000 grain weight were similar and panicle number was higher 20-day seedling > 10-day seedling > 33-day pot seedling > 30-day seedling. Rice yield was higher 10-day seedling = 20-day seedling > 33-day pot seedling > 30-day seedling. Head rice ratio was higher in 20-day seedling > 30-day seedling = 10-day seedling > 33-day pot seedling. Amylose content and protein content was not significantly different between seedling types. With this results, the suitable seedling types in newly reclaimed land are 10-day and 20-day seedling.

        토마토 여름 육묘시 어린묘 정식과 육묘방법이 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향

        Effect of seedling type and early transplanting of summer grown seedling on the growth and yield of tomato was investigated to minimize problems caused by legginess of seedling in summer. Grafted seedling, 20 days seedling (young seedling), 40 days seedling, and rooted cutting were raised from July 20 to Sept. 7 and young seedling was transplanted 20 days earlier than other seedling types. Young seedling growth was weaker than other seedling types and fresh weight was only 1/10 of 40 days seedling. Growth of young seedling at 20 days after transplanting was better than other seedling types and fresh weight was 3 times higher than 40 days seedling. Creased stem did not appear and trusses developed faster in young seedling. Total yield and commercial yield were highest in young seedling as 8,535 kg/10a, and 7,575 kg/10a. There is no significant difference among seedling types in fruit quality. This result shows that early transplanting of summer grown seedling is more effective to attain stable growth and yield in tomato.

        토마토 여름 육묘시 어린묘 정식과 육묘방법이 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향

        고온기 토마토 육묘 시 발생하는 묘의 도장 및 연약화 등의 문제점을 최소화하기 위하여 어린 묘 정식과 육묘방법에 따른 토마토 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 수행하였다. 고온기인 7월 20일부터 9월 7일까지 실생묘, 삽목묘, 접목묘로 육묘하였고 어린 묘는 다른 묘보다 20일 정식하였다. 어린묘의 묘소질은 다른 묘에 비해 연약했으며 생체중은 실생묘보다 1/10 정도로 적어 큰 차이를 나타냈다. 정식 20일 후의 어린 묘의 생육은 다른 육묘방법에 비해 양호하였고 생체중은 36.1 g으로 실생묘에 비해 약 3배 정도 증가되었다. 정식 2개월 후의 어린 묘에서 이상줄기는 발생하지 않았고 화방출현도 빨랐다. 어린 묘에서 총 수량과 상품수량이 각각 8,535 kg/10a, 7,575 kg/10a로 가장 많았다. 과실품질은 어린 묘와 육묘방법별로 큰 차이가 없었으며 이상의 결과로 판단해 볼 때 토마토 고온기 육묘 시 어린 묘를 정식함으로써 생육을 촉진하고 과실 수확량을 높여 토마토를 안정적으로 생산 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.       • 종자파종 및 묘유형별 식재방식이 훼손비탈면의 녹화에 미치는 영향

        This research was initiated to investigate the revegetation characteristics under seeding and seedling types of woody plants on the cut slope. 4 different seeding and seedling types (seeding, field seedling, pot seedling, and unit seedling) of woody plants(Rhus chinensis Mill, Albizzia julibrissin Duraz., Quercus acutissima Carr.) were treated with 3 replications with 4 different plots(herbeous plant seeding, woody plant seeding+field seedling, field seedling+pot seedling, and pot seedling+unit seedling) on the experimental cut slope. Growth height was ranked high in the pot seedling type, medium in the field seedling type, and low in the seeding type, respectively when compared to no difference of growth height found in the unit seedling type during the growing period. The death rate was found on high in the unit seedling type when compared to low in the pot and field seedling types, respectivey. In the visual ratings of quality with 4 different plots, the quality was high in the pot+unit seedling plot, medium in the field+pot seedling plot, and low in the seeding+field seedling plot with the most lowest rating of quality found in the herbeous seeding plot(control plot). As far as the seedling types concerned, the field and pot seedling types were more effective when compared to the unit seedling type with low rooting and growth value because of the outer wooven fabric crust to obstruct rooting into the soil. Therefore, we concluded that pot and field seedling types of woody plants was effective in the viewpoint of ecological cut slope revegetation.

The healthy rice seedling (Oriza sativa L.) for optimal yield in rice-winter cereals double cropping system is required to enhance the agronomic and economic sustainability of crop production in the southern plain area of Korea. Performance of the pot seedling and conventional tray seedling (control) methods using Chinnongbyeo was compared at two transplanting times of June 10 and June 25 in 2011 following forage barley and wheat cultivation, respectively. Culm diameter, plant height, and productive tillering ratio were higher in pot seedling in both transplanting times than those of the conventional tray seedling. However, leaf area index (LAI), perfect grain ratio, and protein content in milled rice were different by transplanting time. Milled rice yields of pot seedling were 544 kg/10a in June 10 and 513 kg/10a in June 25, respectively, which were 4% higher than the tray seedling. In both transplanting time, panicle number and ripened grain ratio were correlated with milled rice yield in conventional tray seedling, and number of spikelet per panicle in pot seedling. Path coefficients showed higher direct effect of panicle number and 1000-grain weight on yield in tray seedling, and spikelet number per panicle and panicle number in pot seedling. Number of tillers of each order in tray seedling for both transplanting time were different with the order of primary tiller, main stem, and secondary tiller. Pot seedling had more primary tiller than main stem and secondary which were similar in both transplanting time.

        초기 묘목크기와 단근강도가 이식 후 졸참나무의 지상부 및 뿌리발달에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to determine the optimum intensity of root pruning and the initial seedling size of 1-year-old Quercus serrata for producing 2-year-old healthy seedlings. Large( > 26 cm hight) and small size ( < 24 cm hight) seedlings were pruned their root by the length of 5, 10, and 15cm and then transplanted on nursery. Stem height,root-collar diameter(RCD), height to RCD ratio(H/D ratio), shoot dry weight(DW) and root development were measured during first growing season after transplanting. Seedling size and pruning intensity influenced on shoot growth such as height, RCD, H/D ratio and DW after transplanting. In addition, the development of lateral roots such as number, length,DW and diameter were affected by the seedling size. Taproot pruned by 15cm was shown excellent above-ground growth in large seedling group, but pruned by 10 and 15cm showed respectively better shoot growth in small seedling group. Large seedlings increased their above-ground growth, taproot regrowth, and number of lateral roots more than those of the small seedlings. But the length and DW of lateral roots were increased in the small seedlings. In conclusion, in order to produce high quality 2-year-old seedlings, it is important to produce large size of Q. serrata seedlings. Also root pruning length of 1-year-old Q. serrata was reasonable on 15 cm in taller than 26 cm or 10cm in less than the height. 본 연구는 졸참나무의 건전한 1-1 조림용 묘목을 생산하기 위해 초기 묘고가 다른 묘목에서 적절한 단근의 강도를구명하기 위해 실시하였다. 이를 위해 1-0 노지묘의 크기를 구분하여 단근(5, 10, 15 cm)을 실시하였다. 1년의 생육기간이 지난 시점에서 묘고를 비롯한 지상부 생장량과 주근 및 측근의 발달 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 지상부의 생장은 초기 묘목 크기와 단근에 의해 다양한 차이가 나타났으며, 측근의 발달은 묘목 크기에 따른 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 초기 묘고가 큰 묘목군에서는 15 cm로 단근된 묘목이 가장 우수한 지상부 생장량을 나타내었으며, 초기 묘고가 작은 묘목군에서는 15 cm와 10 cm로 단근된 묘목이우수한 생장량을 나타내었다. 묘목 크기에 따른 생장은 초기 묘고가 큰 묘목이 작은 묘목보다 우수한 지상부 생장을나타내었으며, 주근의 재생산량과 새롭게 발달된 측근의수도 많았다. 하지만 측근의 길이 및 무게 생장은 작은 묘목이 더 많았다. 결론적으로 본 연구결과를 종합해 보면,고품질의 묘목을 생산하기 위해서는 묘고가 큰 1-0묘를 생산하는 것이 다양한 장점을 가지며, 초기 묘고가 26 cm 이상의 큰 묘목은 15 cm로 단근하고, 초기 묘고가 24 cm 이하의 묘목은 10 cm로 단근하는 것이 가장 이상적인 단근길이라고 판단된다.

      • 벼 自動化 育苗에서 播種期와 育苗期間이 苗素質에 미치는 영향

        Seedling characteristics of rice sowed at different sowing date in an automatic facility were studied at different days after sowing(DAS). The objective was to determine the optimum sowing date and age of rice seedlings at three locations in the Kyongbuk Province of Korea viz, Andong, Euisung and Kyongsan. Height and shoot dry weight of rice seedling increased from 10 to 20 DAS and with a delay in sowing time from April to June. In these intervals shoot dry weight-height ratio decreased. For rice seeded in the last ten days of April, optimum seedling characteristics were attained between 15 to 20 DAS at Andong and Euisung and 15 DAS at Kyongsan. At the three locations, 10-day-seedlings exhibited superior characteristics to 15- and 20-day-seedlings for rice seeded in May and June. Rice seedlings of different ages were transplanted at a paddy field to determine the effect of seedling age on yield potential. The mean yield of 10-day-seedlings was 5% higher than that of 35-day-seedlings raised by the conventional method. The yield of 20-day-seedlings was 9% lower than that of 35-day-seedlings. Varietal differences in seedling characteristics of 13 rice cultivars were evaluated for the seedlings seeded in the automatic facility on June. Ten-day old seedlings ranged in height from 13.3 to 17.5 cm and shoot dry weight from 7.7 to 9.4 mg. Two cultivars, Daesanbyeo and Hwayeongbyeo, exhibited superior seedling traits compared to the remaining 11 cultivars and were ,therefore, better adapted to the automatic seedling-raising facility.

        벼 어린모 육묘시 적기이앙을 못하여 육묘일수가 연장 될 경우 모소질과 본답초기 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 화성벼를 공시하여 1997년 작물시험장 포장에서 8일모, 12일모, 16일모, 20일모를 이용하여 시험을 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 성묘을은 8일모가 93.9%로 가장 높았으며, 12일모는 88.9%, 16일모는 82.0%, 20일모는 80.8%로 육묘일수가 길어질수록 성율이 낮아졌다. 2. 이앙당시 초장이 8일모가 7,6cm, 12일모가 13.0cm, 16일모가 15.1cm, 20일모가 16.9cm로 육묘 12일 이후는 육묘일수 지연에 따른 생육 차이가 적었다. 3. 종자내 배유양분 잔존율은 8일모가 52.5%로 가장 많았으며 12일모가 36.2%, 16일모 30.1%, 20일모가 27.4%였다. 4. 결주율은 8일모와 12일모는 5.1-5.2%로 비슷하였으나 16일모와 20일모는 6.7%, 7.8%로 결주 발생이 많았다. 5. 발근량은 8일모가 104.0로 가장 높았으며, 다음은 12일모로 59.5, 16일모는 41.4, 20일초는 27.9였다 6. ha당 쌀수량은 육묘일수가 길어질수록 수량감소가 현저하여, 8일모 대비(6.18톤) 12일모는 5%, 16일모는 11%, 20일 모는 16%가 감소하였다. 7. 현미의 완전미 비율은 8일모와 12일모는 92.1, 91.5%로 비슷하였으며, 16일모와 20일모는 88.8, 85.4%로 현저히 감소되었다. This study was conducted to find out the basic informations related to the rice cultivation using the infant seedlings. Infant seedlings with different nursery Periods were compared for the growth and grain yield of rice at the National Crop Experiment Station in 1997. The highest sound seedling ratio of 93.9% was observed in 8-day old seedling, followed by 88.9% of 12-day, 82.0% of 16-day, and 80.8% of 20-day, The endosperm remained 52.5% in the 8-day old seedling at transplanting and decreasingly with increasing nursery period. Missing hills at transplanting were more in 16-day and 20-day old seedling than in 8-day and 12-day old seedlings, 5.1-5.2% in 8-day and 12-day growing seedling, 6.7% in 16-day and 7.8% in 20-day old seedling. Rooting ability was observed highest in 8-day, followed by 12-day, 16-day and 20-day old seedling. The milled rice was lower by 5-16% in 12-day, 16-day and 20-day old seedling than in 8-day old seedling of 6.18 t/ha. It was found that the 8-day and 12-day old seedling provided more advantage for sound seedling ratio, endosperm remaining, missing hill during transplanting, rooting ability and grain yields than 16-day and 20-day old seedlings
