본 연구에서는 폐수처리장의 바이오필터로부터 Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 균주를 분리하고 유전체서열을 PacBio RS II와 Illumina HiSeqXten 플랫폼을 사용하여 분석하였다. 염색체의 크기는 3,333,437 bp로 G + C 구성 비율은 68.04%, 총 유전자수는 3,197개, rRNA는 9개 및 tRNA는 49개로 구성되었다. 본 유전체는 오염물질분해와 플록형성에 관여하는 황산화 경로 유전자(SoxY, SoxZ, SoxA 및 SoxB)와 플록형성 경로 유전자(EpsG, EpsE, EpsF, EpsG, EpsL 및 glycosyltransferase)를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 균주는 폐수를 정화하는데 활용될 수 있다. Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 was isolated from biofilter of wastewater treatment plant. The whole-genome sequence of Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 was analyzed using the PacBio RS II and Illumina HiSeqXten platform. The genome comprises a 3,333,437 bp chromosome with a G + C content of 68.04%, 3,197 total genes, 9 rRNA genes, and 49 tRNA genes. This genome contained pollutants degradation and floc forming genes such as sulfur oxidization pathway (SoxY, SoxZ, SoxA, and SoxB) and floc forming pathway (EpsG, EpsE, EpsF, EpsG, EpsL, and glycosyltransferase), respectively. The Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 can be used to the purification of wastewater.

이 연구에서는 5 kGy 의 감마선에 조사된 토양으로부터 분리된 Deinococcus puniceus $DY1^T$의 완전한 게놈서열을 분석하였다. 이 균주는 UVC 와 감마선에 대한 저항성을 보였으며, PacBio RS II platform 을 통해 시퀀싱을 진행하였다. 해당유전체의 분석결과 G + C 함량이 62.5%인 2,971,983 bp 크기의 원형 염색체를 확인하였으며, 해당 염색체는 2,617 개의 코딩 서열과 2,762 개의 유전자 그리고 88 개의 위유전자를 포함하고 있다. Cells of Deinococcus puniceus $DY1^T$ are Gram-positive, coccus-shaped, and crimson color-pigmented. Strain $DY1^T$ was isolated from soil irradiated with 5 kGy gamma radiation and showed resistance to UVC and gamma radiation. In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of a bacterium Deinococcus puniceus $DY1^T$ is consist of circular chromosome comprised of 2,971,983 bp, with the G + C content of 62.5%. The complete genome sequence was obtained using the PacBio RS II platform, it included 2,617 coding sequences (CDs), 2,762 genes, and 88 pseudogene.

Erwinia pyrifoliae는 그람 음성 세균으로 사과와 배에 가지검은마름병을 일으킨다. E. pyrifoliae EpK1/15 균주가 병징을 보이는 경기도 포천지역의 사과나무 가지에서 2014년도에 분리되었다. 본 논문에서는 PacBio RS II 플랫폼을 이용하여 E. pyrifoliae EpK1/15 균주의 전체 유전체를 분석하여 보고한다. 본 균주는 G + C 비율이 53.4%이며, 4,027,225 bp로 구성된 염색체와 G + C 비율이 50.3%이며, 48,456 bp로 구성된 plasmid를 지니고 있다. 이들 염색체와 plasmid DNA에서 3,798개의 단백질 코딩 유전자, 22개의 rRNA, 77개의 tRNA, 13개의 non-coding RNA 및 231개의 위유전자(pseudo gene)가 확인되었다. Erwinia pyrifoliae is a Gram-negative bacterium causing black shoot blight in apple and Asian pear trees. E. pyrifoliae strain EpK1/15 was isolated in 2014 from an apple twig from the Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence of E. pyrifoliae EpK1/15 using PacBio RS II platform. The draft genome is comprised of a circular chromosome with 4,027,225 bp and 53.4% G + C content and a plasmid with 48,456 bp and 50.3% G + C content. The draft genome includes 3,798 protein-coding genes, 22 rRNA genes, 77 tRNA genes, 13 non-coding RNA genes, and 231 pseudo genes.

In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of a bacterium Spirosoma rigui KCTC $12531^T$, its complete genome sequence was obtained using the PacBio RS II platform. The genome comprised of 5,828,404 bp with the G + C content of 54.4%, the genome included 4,774 genes were predicted, among them, 4,647 genes are protein-coding genes.

이 연구에서는 자동차의 에어컨의 바이오필름환경에서 분리 된 Spirosoma aerolatum KACC $17939^T$의 완전한 게놈 서열을 분석하였다. 이 게놈은 G + C 함량이 48.3%인 7,959,595 bp으로 구성되어 있고 6,471개의 유전자와 6,471개의 단백질 코딩 유전자, 9개의 rRNA 유전자 그리고 43개의 tRNA 유전자 및 115개의 위유전자(pseudogene)를 포함하고 있다. A Gram-stain-negative, yellow-pigmented bacterial strain, designated Spirosoma aerolatum KACC $17939^T$, was isolated from a biofilm of car air conditioner collected in Republic of Korea. In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of a bacterium Spirosoma aerolatum KACC $17939^T$ obtained using the PacBio RS II platform. The genome comprised of 7,959,595 bp with the G + C content of 48.3%, the genome included 6,640 genes were predicted, among them, 6,471 genes are protein-coding genes.

A novel algicidal bacterium, designated strain BG1, belonging to the family Flavobacteriaceae was isolated from coastal seawater, East Sea of Korea. Its complete genome sequence was determined using PacBio RS II system and Illumina Hiseq X-ten platform. The genome of strain BG1 comprised of a single circular 3,708,790 bp chromosome with G + C content of 37.3%, and encoded 3,160 protein-coding genes, 9 rRNA genes, 44 tRNA genes, 4 non-coding RNA genes and 27 pseudo genes. The strain BG1 contained various biopolymer degradation-related genes and secondary metabolites biosynthesis-related genes such as terpenoids and polyketide. This genomic information is expected to be useful for application to biopolymers degradation and the screening of bioactive substances.

Cupriavidus sp. strain SW-Y-13 is an aerobic, Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium isolated from river water in South Korea, in 2019. Its draft genome was produced using the PacBio RS II platform and is thought to consist of five circular chromosomes with a total of 7,307,793 bp. The genome has a G + C content of 63.1%. Based on 16S rRNA sequence similarity, strain SW-Y-13 is most closely related to Cupriavidus metallidurans (98.4%). Genome annotation revealed that the genome is comprised of 6,613 genes, 6,536 CDSs, 12 rRNAs, 61 tRNAs, and 4 ncRNAs. Resistance to Co2+ is primarily mediated by the efflux system encoded by the SW-Y-13 genome, which includes the czcCBA operons, czcD genes, and czcN genes, among others. This study may provide useful information on the heavy-metal resistance mechanisms of strain SW-Y-13.

퇴비로부터 분리한 Niabella ginsenosidivorans $BS26^T$ 균주의 유전체서열을 분석하였다. 균주 $BS26^T$의 유전체는 G + C 비율이 44.48%이며, 4,800개의 유전자와 4,704개의 단백질 코딩 유전자, 85개의 위유전자 그리고49개의 RNA유전자를 포함한 단일 원형 염색체로 구성되었으면 그 크기는 5,627,734 bp였다. 균주 $BS26^T$는 인삼사포닌의 당 분해에 관여하는 여러 타입의 글라이코시다제 유전자를 가지고 있었다. 이러한 유전체 분석은 주요 진세노사이드 전환에 관여하는 유전자 특징을 이해하는데 큰 기여가 되었다. An orange-colored, rod-shaped strain, designated Niabella ginsenosidivorans $BS26^T$, was isolated from compost. Strain $BS26^T$ showed the ability to convert major ginsenosides to minor ginsenosides, and its whole genome was sequenced. The whole genome of N. ginsenosidivorans $BS26^T$ consists of a single circular chromosome of 5,627,734 bp with 44.48% G + C content. Based on the complete genome sequence of strain $BS26^T$, we found several glycosides hydrolase-encoding genes that might involve in the conversion of major ginsenosides into minor ginsenoside and deliberate its strong pharmacological effects.

Mucilaginibacter ginsenosidivorax KHI-28 T (KACC 14955 T = LMG 25804 T ) is Gram-stain-negative, strictly aerobic, nonmotile, non-spore-forming, and rod-shaped. M. ginsenosidivorax was isolated from sediment in a river in Gapcheon, Daejeon, South Korea. Strain KHI-28 T had β-glucosidase activity, responsible for transforming ginsenosides Rb1 and Re into Rg2 and C-K, respectively. The complete genome of M. ginsenosidivorax KHI-28 T revealed a single circular chromosome comprising 7,811,413 bp, with a G + C content of 43.1%. Several glycoside hydrolase-encoding genes were found, which might contribute in converting major ginsenosides to minor ginsenosides and they were expected strong pharmacological effects. In addition, genes encoding nucleotide excision repair enzymes and virulence factors were found.

Acidovorax citrulli 병원세균은 수박에 과실썩음병을 일으킨다. 이 논문에서는 A. citrulli strain KACC17005 균주의 완전한 게놈 서열을 분석하여 보고한다. 게놈은 총 5,349,924 bp로 구성되어 있으며 G + C 함량이 68.54%이다. 단백질을 coding하는 유전자가 총 4,520개이고, 이들 중 적어도 15개의 유전자들은 감수성 식물에서 병원성을 증가시키거나 저항성 식물에서 면역반응을 유도하는데 중요한 제3형 effector 단백질을 코딩하고 있다. Acidovorax citrulli is a causal agent for bacterial fruit blotch on watermelon. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of A. citrulli strain KACC17005. The genome contains 5,349,924 bp with G + C contents of 68.54%, including 4,520 protein coding genes in a circular chromosome. It also possesses at least 15 genes encoding putative type III effector proteins, which may contribute to promoting virulence in susceptible hosts or triggering immune responses in resistant hosts.
