        성인 지적장애인의 고등학교 통합교육의 의미

        본 연구는 성인 지적장애인의 고등학교 통합교육 경험을 탐색하고, 그 의미를 살핀 것이다. K시에 거주하고 있는 3명의 성인 지적장애인을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였고, 면담 결과 자료를 통해 지적장애인들이 고등학교 통합교육에 대해 어떻게 기억하고 있는지를 분석한 결과, ‘통합교육 수업에 대한 아쉬움’, ‘선생님에 대한 고마움과 서운함’, ‘친구 관계에서 오는 아쉬움’, ‘일반 고등학교를 졸업한 것이 기쁨’ 등의 주제를 도출하였다. 그리고 이 결과를 바탕으로 지적장애학생들의 공부에 대한 욕구를 살펴볼 수 있었고, 비장애학생과 함께 공부하고 싶은 마음이 있었으며, 비장애학생과 함께 일반 고등학교을 다녔다는 것만으로도 기쁨을 느낀다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 이러한 연구참여자들의 통합교육에 대한 기대에 비해 제공되는 교육 기회라는 부분에서 부족한 점들이 나타났다. 그러므로 통합교육 효과의 제고를 위해서는 모든 학생들에게 동등한 교육기회 부여가 제공될 수 있는 방안들의 모색이 필요하다.

        이용자 중심의 메타버스 공간 분석에 관한 연구 -지각된 가치 특성을 중심으로-

        (Background and Purpose) Currently, the metaverse is a field that expands the category of spatio-temporal activities and plays a role in connecting various areas. Therefore, research and interest are increasing in various and broad fields, and the number of users continues to increase, but research from the perspective of the users who use it is hardly progressing. This means that the metaverse is being developed based on the perspective of the creator such as the company rather than the perspective of the user. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of the user-centered metaverse space by analyzing the perceived value, which is the value of the user's perspective, in order to develop a virtual space called the metaverse based on the user's perspective. (Method) In order to expand and study the metaverse, this study examines the web system and the tangible scope that make up the metaverse. Furthermore, in order to derive the value factor required in the metaverse, a comprehensive result is derived by interconnecting the factors of perceived value and the characteristics of the metaverse. The research method derives the correlation between factors such as pleasure, visual authority, self-expression, economic value, and continuity, interactivity, simultaneity, reality, economy, sharing, creativity, expandability, accumulation, and reproducibility, and connects them to a relational model. It concludes by proposing a comprehensive value- and space-oriented plan based on users' perspectives in the metaverse. (Results) In this study, the value that users want in the metaverse was examined through metaverse analysis from a value perspective. And a comprehensive conclusion was drawn according to each type of metaverse. When classifying types based on perceived values, augmented reality, motivation, and lifogging were classified as a single type based on perceived values, and the virtual world and the game purpose, communication purpose, motivation type, and presentation type were classified as having the same type of value.(Conclusions) In conclusion, it could be seen that the reason why humans enjoy the metaverse is that the value pursued by users exists, and the possibility of territorial development based on perceived values and characteristics has been seen. In the future, this paper predict to expand the metaverse into an area where the value of the user's point of view can be realized, and that various studies from the user's point of view will be conducted in the metaverse.

        Complete genome sequence of Acidovorax citrulli strain KACC17005, a causal agent for bacterial fruit blotch on watermelon

        Acidovorax citrulli 병원세균은 수박에 과실썩음병을 일으킨다. 이 논문에서는 A. citrulli strain KACC17005 균주의 완전한 게놈 서열을 분석하여 보고한다. 게놈은 총 5,349,924 bp로 구성되어 있으며 G + C 함량이 68.54%이다. 단백질을 coding하는 유전자가 총 4,520개이고, 이들 중 적어도 15개의 유전자들은 감수성 식물에서 병원성을 증가시키거나 저항성 식물에서 면역반응을 유도하는데 중요한 제3형 effector 단백질을 코딩하고 있다. Acidovorax citrulli is a causal agent for bacterial fruit blotch on watermelon. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of A. citrulli strain KACC17005. The genome contains 5,349,924 bp with G + C contents of 68.54%, including 4,520 protein coding genes in a circular chromosome. It also possesses at least 15 genes encoding putative type III effector proteins, which may contribute to promoting virulence in susceptible hosts or triggering immune responses in resistant hosts.

        Deciphering the Role of Tyrosine Sulfation in Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae Using Shotgun Proteomic Analysis

        A bacterial tyrosine sulfotransferase, RaxST, is re-quired for activation of rice XA21-mediated im-munity, and it catalyzes sulfation of tyrosine residues of Omp1X and RaxX in Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae, a causal agent of bacterial blight in rice. Although RaxST is biochemically well-characterized, bio logical functions of tyrosine sulfation have not been fully elucidated. We compared protein expression patterns between the wildtype and a raxST knockout mutant using shotgun proteomic analysis. Forty nine proteins displayed a more than 1.5-fold difference in their expression between the wildtype and the mutant strains. Clusters of orthologous groups analysis revealed that proteins involved in cell motility were most abundant, and phenotypic observation also showed that the twitching motility of the mutant was dramatically changed. These results indicate that tyrosine sulfation by RaxST is essential for Xoo move-ment, and they provide new insights into the biological roles of RaxST in cellular processes.

        Rahnella aquatilis AY2000균 유래의 항 효모물질의 작용양상

        항 진균제의 인체에 대한 부작용을 완화시키는 방법은 부작용이 적은 새로운 항 진균제 개발이나 기존 항 진균제와 혼용하여 상승효과를 나타내는 물질이 필요하다. 이를 위해 Rahnella aquatilis AY2000가 생산하는 항 효모물질은 일종의 단백질성 고분자 물질이란 점에서 기존 항 진균제와 차이가 있다. 이 항 효모물질은 유도기나 대수증식 기에 있는 효모 생육을 억제시켰으며, cell cycle 분석에서 sub-G1기에 속하는 세포수의 증가 없이 세포를 arrest시켰다. 따라서 항 효모물질은 Candida albicans에 정균작용을 나타내었다. 또한 in vitro 실험에서 이 항 효모물질과 itraconazole이나 fluconazole을 병용한 후 fractional inhibitory concentration index 분석을 행한 결과 항 효모활성이 더욱 상승되었다. 결론적으로 이 항 효모물질은 정균 작용을 가질 뿐만 아니라 azole계의 항 진균제와 혼용하면 상승효과를 가짐으로 부작용이 적은 새로운 개념의 항 진균제로 개발할 가치가 있을 것이라고 생각된다. For reduction of side effects by anti-fungal agents, a less toxic anti-fungal substance or a synergistic substance with a new mechanism is needed. The anti-yeast substance (AYS) originated from Rahnella aquatilis strain AY2000 is like to be a heterogeneous protein. The AYS inhibited the growth of Candida albicans in culture broth, and AYS-treated cells were arrested in each phase during cell cycle. Among AYS-treated cells, the population of the cells belonging to sub-G1 phase was not increased during cell cycle. Therefore, AYS has rather yeaststatic than yeastcidal effect to C. albicans. Moreover, with combination of itraconazole or fluconazole, AYS had a synergistic anti-yeast activity against Saccharomyces cerevisiae based on the analysis of fractional inhibitory concentration index.

        Functional and Proteomic Analyses Reveal That ScpBXv Is Involved in Bacterial Growth, Virulence, and Biofilm Formation in Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria

        Segregation and condensation protein B (ScpB) is essential for replication and segregation in living organisms. Here, we reported the functions of ScpBXv (ScpBlike protein in Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria) using phenotypic and proteomic analyses. Growth of XcvΔscpBXv (ScpBXv knockout mutant) was reduced under both slow and fast growth conditions in rich medium, but comparable to this of the wild-type in plant-mimic conditions. Interestingly, the mutant was significantly less virulent than the wild-type in tomato, indicating that ScpBXv is involved in virulence. To investigate ScpBXv‑associated mechanisms, comparative proteomic analyses were carried out and the abundance of 187 proteins was altered. Among them, diverse transcriptional regulators involved in biofilm formation and virulence were abundant in the wild-type. We further showed that biofilm formation of XcvΔscpBXv was reduced. This study provides new insights into the functions of ScpBXv in bacterial replication and biofilm formation, which may contribute to the virulence of Xcv.

        A Surgical Method for Determining Proper Screw Length in ACDF

        Objective: We describe a surgical tool that uses the distractor pin as a reference for determining proper screw length in ACDF. It is critical that screw purchase depth be as deep as possible without violating or penetrating the posterior cortical wall, which ensures strong pull out strength. Methods: We enrolled 81 adult patients who underwent ACDF using an anterior cervical plate from 2010 to 2012. Patients were categorized into Groups A (42 patients: retractor pin used as a reference for screw length) and B (39 patients: control group). Intraoperative lateral x-rays were taken after screwing the retractor pin to confirm the approaching vertebral level. The ratio of retractor pin length to body anteroposterior (A-P) diameter was measured as a reference. Proper screw length was determined by comparison to the reference. Results: The average distance from screw tip to posterior wall was 3.0±1.4mm in Group A and 4.1±2.3mm in Group B. The ratio of screw length to body sagittal diameter was 86.2±5.7% in Group A and 80.8±9.0% in Group B. Screw length to body sagittal diameter ratios higher than 4/5 occurred in 33 patients (90%) in Group A and 23 patients (59%) in Group B. No cases violated the posterior cortical wall. Conclusion: We introduce a useful surgical method for determining proper screw length in ACDF using the ratio of retractor pin length to body A-P diameter as a reference. This method allows for deeper screw purchase depth without violation of the posterior cortical wall.

        Rhanella aquatilis 유래 당단백질과 항암제 혼합물에 의한 인체 대장 암 HT29세포에 대한 항암상승효과

        In order to investigate the anticancer activity of an anti-yeast substance (AYS), a proteoglycan produced by Rhanella aquatilis AY2000, the cytotoxicity of the AYS against cancer cells was determined in vitro. The AYS was not cytotoxic to the human Jurkat T cell or the mouse sarcoma 180 cell, but was cytotoxic to the human colon cancer TH20 cell. The AYS was increasingly cytotoxic against human colon cancer cells in a dose-dependent manner at range from 62.5 to 500 μg/ml. Anticancer activity by combination of the AYS and an anticancer agent was also determined. The anticancer agent combined with the AYS was shown to possess greater synergistic anticancer activity against human colon cancer cells, as compared with the anticancer agent alone. Rhanella aquatilis AY2000 균주가 생산하는 일종의 당단백질인 항효모성 물질 (AYS)에 대한 항암활성을 조사하기 위해 in vitro에서 암세포에 대한 AYS의 세포독성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 AYS는 인체의 Jurkat T 세포와 마우스의 sarcoma 180 세포에 대해서는 세포독성을 나타내지 않았으나, 인체 대장암세포인 colon cancer TH20 세포에는 세포독성을 나타내었다. 또한 이 AYS는 62.5에서 500 μg/ml까지 농도의존적으로 인체대장암세포에 대해 세포독성을 증가시켰다. 뿐만 아니라 이 AYS와 시판 항암제를 혼합하여 처리한 결과 시판 항암제를 단독으로 처리한 것 보다 인체대장암세포에 대한 항암효과가 더욱 상승되었다.
