소형 트럭용 CNG/가솔린 겸용 엔진 개발과 성능 분석

A diesel truck of 1 ton is re-powered by a gasoline engine and the fuelling system of gasoline engine is modified to gasoline/CNG bi-fuel system. The engine characteristics such as fuel economy and power are evaluated by driving test, sloping test and dynamometer. The driving test prove the driving cost is saved by 55% and the maximum speed is raised by 13%, which is mainly due to the higher calorific value of CNG. The sloping test is done on thc road of which slope is 15%. The truck shows the mean velocity of 88km/h, which means that are-powered truck is working fine. The BHP are measurcd by dynamomcter. The-power and torque produced by a re-powered truck are reduced by 13% and 14% respectively from the power of gasoline engine. The BHP reduction is one of main problems which one has to solve in near future.

Tracheostomy in infants and children is associated with a high rate of accidental decannulation in the early postoperative period. The most common complication in infants and children, which most often results in death, is accidental decannulation. Other authors advocate suturing tracheostomy tubes in place in infants and children under general anesthesia in operating room for avoiding decannulation. The authors designed tracheostomy tube for the prevention of accidental decannulation following tracheostomy in infant, so report with review of literatures.

IMT-2000용 수신단 One-chip MMIC의 설계 및 제작

본 논문은 IMT-2000용 수신단 One-chip MMIC의 설계 및 제작에 관한 것이다. LNA, 이중 평형 믹서, LO 발룬, RF 발룬, 그리고 IF 증폭기를 하나의 칩에 집적시켰다. 새롭게 제안된 바이어스 회로는 공정상의 변화와 온도의 변화 등의 원인에 의한 문턱전압의 변화를 보상할 수 있다. 제작된 칩의 측정 결과는 모의실험으로 얻은 결과와 일치하지 않는다. LNA는 변환이득이 평탄하게 동작하지 않을 뿐만 아니라 발진현상도 나타났다. 문제에 대한 분석을 통해 원인을 찾았으며, 이 결과는 향후 연구에 사용하려고 한다. 믹서의 변환손실은 -14㏈, IP3는 4㏈m, 포트간 격리도는 25㏈ 이상인 특성을 나타낸다. 설계된 칩은 ETRI MESFET 0.5 ㎛공정으로 제작하였으며 칩 사이즈는 1.4㎜×1.4㎜이다 This is paper describes a design and fabrication of a one-chip receiver MMIC for IMT-2000. The LNA, double balanced mixer, LO balun, RF balun, IF amplifier and a bias circuit are integrated a chip. Each balun operates active and composed of MESFETs. The new applied bias circuit is able to compensate the variation of the threshold voltage caused by the process variation, temperature changes, and etc. The measured response of the fabricated chip doesn't correspond with the simulated performance, the LNA is not only the conversion gain doesn't operates flatly, but also even the oscillation presented. By the study of the cause about the problem, the factor was found. And the result will be deal with further study. The mixer achieves the conversion losses of -14㏈, IP3 of 4㏈m, and port to port isolation over 25㏈. The designed chip is fabricated by the ETRI MESFET 0.5㎛ process. The chip size is 1.4m×1.4m.

차량 시뮬레이터를 이용한 적응순항제어시스템의 성능 평가

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system can automatically adjust the headway-time and driver vehicle's speed between a driver vehicle and a preceding vehicle. Driving simulator a is virtual reality tool that allows Driver-In-the-Loop Simulation in a laboratory. This paper addresses driving behavior with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system using driving simulator. Participants with different driving styles have driven the simulator with and without ACC through a highway route. Participants are divided by Driving Style Questionnaire (DSQ)-Focus, Speed and Total DSQ scores. Driving behavior in terms of average headway-time, lateral position of a car, and head and gaze movement has been investigated.

甘草가 흰쥐肝의 cytochrome P_450 관여 藥物代謝酵素活性에 미치는 影響

Drug metabolizing enzymes containing Cytochrome P-450 of liver microsomes of rat were induced by phenobarbital sodium injection and extractum Glycyrrhizae then they were purified partially. Then these enzymes were tested on activities catalizing the hydroxylation of anisole of aromatic ethers. The results are summarized as follow : 1. As a result of injection phenobarbital sodium and p.o. extractum Glycyrrhizae into rat, protein content was most highest between 38∼40 fraction of the enzymes containing Cytochrome P-450 eluted with Emalgen 913. And the group pretreated wit Extractum Glycyrrhizae has been increased by 6.5% and with phenobarbital sodium injection by 64% in comparison with the control group. 2. From the reaction of anisole and the reconstituted enzyme containing Cytochrome P-450, guaiacol has been obtained 5∼6% in the control group and 6∼7% in the group pretreated with Extractum Glycyrrhizae and 7∼10% in the group pretreated with phenobarbital sodium. 3. Based on all above results, it is concluded that the Drug Metabolizing Enzyme containing Cytochrome P-450 was induced slightly by Extractum Glycyrrhizae and induced strongly by phenobarbital sodium.

방광이행상피세포암에서 p53유전자의 변화

The objective of this study was to characterise the pattern of p53 mutations in bladder turmor. In this study, 25 bladder transitional cell carcinomas were analyed by immunohistochemistry (IHC) for p53 nuclear overexpression, and the results were compared with those of polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformational polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) analysis in exon 5-8 of the p53 gene and DNA sequencing analysis. 15 out of 20 cases (75%) showed p53 nuclear immunoreactivities on IHC. On PCR-SSCP analysis, 10 out of 25 cases(40%) had abnormal shifts on mobility. 62% of the mutations were in exon 8. Direct DNA sequencing analysis were performed in these 10 cases to confirm the presence of mutated p53 genes and to determine the type of mutations. Sixteen point mutations were detected in 10 cases. Tow specimens had double mutations and another two had triple mutations. G:C→A:T transitions were the most frequent patterns (62.5%). One mutation was a premature stop codon and two were silent mutations. There out of 10 had a point mutation at codon 285 (GAG/Glu→AAG/Lys) and two had at codon 280(GAG/Glu→AAG/Lys). One of 16 mutations was transition at hot spot codon 273 with CpG site. These results suggest that altered expressions and point mutations of p53 occured in all grade of bladder cancer, but are more associated with hight grade bladder tumors. To elucidate the carcinogenesis of bladder cancer, further studies should be carried out.

서울大學校學生의 赤血球沈降速度에 關한 硏究 : 結核集團檢診의 疫學的方法을 爲하야

The Eryshrocyte Sedimentation Rate on the students of Seoul National Uuiversity was discussed corelating with X-ray findings for tuberculosis mass suruey. 1) Among the students of Seoul National University, 4727 were examined by miniature radiogram and the morbidity of active tuberculosis was shown 1.7 percent 616 of students were examined by both miniature radiogram and blood sedimentation reaction and the morbidity was 2.9 per cent. 2) The screening procedure by blood sedimentation reaction in addition to miniature radiogram could prevent missing around one fourth of active cases This means that E.S.R. has a great significance on the screening procedure for tuberculosis case findings. 3) Abnormal E.S.R. was shown on 75,5 percent of active cases. Persons whose E.S.R. are beyond 3mm for 30minutes and 10mm for 60minutes are suspected tuberculosis and should be required further examination. 4) The distribution rate of E.S.R. of between 0∼6.5mm was shown on 80percent of these students who were examined and that of between 0∼10mm was shown on 88.7 percent of students. The mean was 4.8mm. Hereby it is recommended That E.S.R. must be employed as one part of the useful methods on the mass screening survey for tuberculosis. furthermore it should be recalled that most of the Korean youths show tuberculin test positive. This fact requires such procedure as blood sedimentation reaction in addition to X-ray photography urgently on the epidemiological tuberculosis survey.

KTX용 터보팬 블레이드 개발

The new cooling fan for various parts & equipments of KTX is developed and evaluated to improve fan performance and durability. The characteristic curve of the developed fan is obtained according to KSB 6311 of performance test regulation. 70 degree of the installation angle of blade makes the fan to produce a maximum flow rate. This angle is found out through trial-error and is confirmed through the verification test. In order to improve the blade strength, the blade is produced by a draw forming. The adoption of AL50 reduces a fan weight by 6 kg. The new blade makes a static pressure 170 (mmAq), a discharge rate 140 (㎥/min), a rotational speed 2886 (rpm) at the power 10 kw. which results 54% of the static pressure improvement relative to the original blade.

박막 크로멜-알루멜 열전퇴형 교류-직류 변환기

A planar chromel-alumel multijunction ac-dc converter was fabricated on a LPCVD Si_(3)N_(4)/SiO_(2)/Si_(3)N_(4)-diaphragm, prepared by silicon bulk micromachining, which thermally isolated a bifilar evanohm-heater and the hot junctions of a chromel-alumel thermopile from the silicon substrate. The voltage responsivity, the ac-dc transfer error, and the fluctuation of the output thermoelectric voltage of the converter were investigated. The respective voltage responsivities in air and in a vacuum of the converter were about 3.16 mV/mW and 9.41 mV/mW. The ac-dc voltage and the current transfer errors in air were about ±1.5 ppm and ±0.7 ppm in a frequency range from 10 Hz to 10 kHz, respectively. The fluctuation of the output thermoelectric voltage from 5 seconds to 120 seconds after preheating in air for 5 seconds was about 0.06 % for a heater input of dc 1 V.
