The study was conducted to evaluate the difference of life style, subjective symptoms and health cognition depending on the Sasang Constitution in the industrial workers. The results were as follows ; Constitutional distribution among exposed group were Tae-eum In(38.4%), So-eum In(35.2%), and So-yang In(26.4%) and it was turned out that Tae-eum In took a higher portion of Sasang constitution than other constitutions in technician workers. 'Exercise' and 'Obesity' were found most in Tae-eum In, In So-eum In there were many 'Normal' weight and 'Having digestive disorders' were found most in So-eum In. There were no significant difference in the health cognition among the constitutions. The closer to 'normal' weight, the higher prevalence in 'having' concern about health condition and the more 'normal' condition in sleeping, the higher prevalence of 'having' self-confident in present health.

Sterilizer is one of the necessary equipments in dental clinics for aseptic treatment. There are many types of sterilizer, such as autoclave, chemiclave, dry heat sterilizer, UV(Ultra Violet) sterilizer, boiling sterilizer, EO(Ethylene Oxide) gas sterilizer, by sterilizing mechanis. To evaluate the type and sterilizing ability, one surveyer visited 100 dental clinics in Seoul and surveyed some items, such as age and gender of dentist, type, location and using period of sterilizer, how many sterilizing time per day and who operate sterilizer, so on. As preacticall operation the sterilizer, sterilized basillus subtilis in test tube and incubated it. Then it's turbidity was observed. The results were as follows 1. The descending order of plenty were autoclave(68), UV sterilizer(26), chemiclave(12), dry heat sterilizer(4) and boiling sterilizer(2). 2. The descending order of sterilizing ability were dry heat sterilizer(100%), autoclave(89%), chemicloave(73%), UV sterilizer(43%) and boiling sterilizer(0%). 3. Sterilizing ability in dental clinics that have both sterilizer, autoclave and UV sterilizer, chemiclave and UV sterlilzer was low than single sterilizer(autoclave, chemiclave). 4. The descending order of location of sterilizer were treatment room, laboratory room, sterilizing room and the order of operator were assistant, hygiene and both assistant and hygiene.

Experiment is very important in physics education and is much so in the new curriculum of physics. Writers investigated and analyzed the status of the high school physics experiment in our nation. From the problems which was found, we do grope the improved plan for the advanced physics experiment engagement. (1)Curriculum It seems to be in correspondance with the current of modern thought, but the system of selection must be changed and the units of the physics curriculum (12 units) must be increased. (2) Laboratory facilities Laboratories, collateral facilities and experiment apparatus must be filled up, especially the teaching materials of the modern physics. (3)Experiment management More student experiments are demanded. And experiment management which is in according to the ability of the students is realized (essential, optional, extra-curriculum experiment etc). (4) Teachers In order to adapt to the new physics experiment, in-service training workshop is periodically need. And teaching condition should be improved and teacher's loadings should be reduce, and teachers could be received good payment. (5) Students An instructive and an interesting physics experiments are imposed to the student in order that the students are familiar to the physics.

This study aims to analyze characteristics, problems and solutions of performance appraisal system of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Regulations and statistical data of KAIST performance appraisal system of employees except faculty members are analyzed, and all the target group members are surveyed. Some of them are selected for in-depth interview. Major problems found in this study are as follows: lack . of connection between performance appraisal system and organizational strategic development plans including overall human resource management system, lack of operational definition of evaluation factors and criteria, confusion in contents among evaluation factors, irrational weight distribution among evaluation factors, individual-focused performance appraisal where cooperative team efforts are neglected, subjective evaluation, and prohibition of disclosing results of appraisal to the rates. These problems are identified to be a main cause for a high level of dissatisfaction of employees with performance appraisal system. Based on the above-mentioned problems, a variety of recommendations are suggested to improve the KAIST performance appraisal system.
Pyriminobac-methyl과 azimsulfuron 합제의 신규제형인 분산형 정제에 대한 독성 평가

Dispersible tablets disintegrate either to form a stabilized suspension rapidly in water, or to disperse instantaneously in the rice field without the aid of water. In this study, the newly formulated dispersible tablet form of herbicidal combination, pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron, was evaluated the safety for human and animals in the toxicological viewpoints. The LD_(50) value of dispersible tablet form for pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron was above 2,500 mg/kg for the oral route and above 2,000 mg/kg for the dermal route. It is considered to have low acute oral and dermal toxicity based on the findings of the present studies. In addition, the combination of pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron showed mild skin irritant under the conditions of this study and conjunctival redness and slight opacity on cornea appeared from 1 hour after application.
가용화 조성물과 난용성 약물군을 함유하는 고체분산체의 용출양상

Polymer based physical mixtures or solid dispersions containing solubilizing compositions[OA, tween80 and SLS] were prepared using a spray-dryer. Lovastatin(LOS), simvastatin(SIMS), aceclofenac(AFC) and cisapride(CSP) were selected as poorly water-soluble drugs. Dextrin, poly(vinylalcohol)(PVA), poly(vinylpyrrolidone)(PVP) and polyethylene glycol(PEG) were chosen as solubilizing carriers for solid dispersions. The solid dispersions containing solubilizing compositions without drug were prepared without using organic solvents or tedious changes of formulation compositions. This system could be used to quickly screen the dissolution profiels of poorly water-soluble drugs by simply mixing with drugs thereafter. In case of solid dispersion containing drug, organic solvent systems could be used to solubilize model drugs. The dissolution rates of the drugs were higher when mixed with drug and solid dispersions containing solubilizing compositions. However, solid dispersions of LOS, AFC, CSP simultaneously containing drug and solubilizing compositions in organic solvent systems were more useful than physical mixtures of drug and solid dispersions without drug except SIMS. Based on solubilizing capability of polymer based physical mixtures in gelatin hard capsules, optimal solid dispersion system of poorly water-soluble drugs could be formulated. However, it should be noted that dissolution rate of poorly water-soluble drugs were highly dependent on drug properties, solubilizing compositions and polymeric carriers.
가용화 조성물을 함유한 PVP형 고체분산체의 제조 및 특성 : Based Solid Dispersion Systems Containing Solubilizers

The PVP-based solid dispersion systems (SDs) containing lovastatin (LOS) and solubilizers (sodium lauryl sulfate, tween 80 and oleic acid) were prepared to enhance dissolution rate of practically water insoluble LOS using solvent evaporation method. Two different organic cosolvents either acetone/ethanol or acetonitrile/ethanol were used for the preparation of SDs. The LOS contents were highly decreased when acetone/ethanol cosolvents were used. The decrease of LOS contents was not caused by acetonitrile or acetone, based on HPLC data. The surface morphology as investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and angle of repose as an index of flowability of SDs were highly dependent of the type and amount of solubilizers used. Base on differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray powder diffraction data, the SDs made crystalline LOS into amorphous structure or partially eutectic mixtures. The simultaneous use of the solubilizers in SDs was also useful to increase dissolution rate of LOS in gastric or intestinal fluid. The SDs containing solubilizers reached 76% and 60% in gastric and intestinal fluid, respectively but the commercial tablet gave only less that 4%. These solubilizers in SDs could be also applicable for enhancing dissolution and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs.
Carbosulfan의 피부자극성, 안점막 자극성 및 피부감작성등의 알러지성 효과에 관한 연구

Many studies have been published on the human health effects of carbosulfan toxicity. Carbosulfan used as an insecticide can produce an irritating and allergenic effect when acting on the skin. In this study, a sensitization test on albino guinea pigs and intradermal reactivity and occular irritation test on albino rabbits were carried out with carbosulfan. Signs of acute skin inflammation appeared along with the clinical symptom of chronic dermatosis caused by the solution irritating characteristics. Moreover, carbosulfan showed severe eye irritation with conjuctival redness and severe opacity on cornea. Preventive measures should involve workers' obligatory instructions on the noxious impact on human skin and strict observance of industrial safety rules.
신규개발된 제초제 metamifop 현탁농축액제에 대한 급성독성평가

Metamifop, (R)-2-[4-[(6-chloro-2-benzoxazolyloxyphenoxy]-N-(2-fluorophenyl)-N-methyl propanamide, was newly developed by Dongbu Hannong Chemicals in Korea. In the present study we conducted acute oral toxicity and acute dermal toxicity test. The values of LD_(50) of metamifop was found to be over 5,000 mg/kg for ICR mice. On the other hand, metamifop showed no acute dermal toxicity to SD rats.
