        This paper has compared experimenta1 values with the theoretical values of composting model to examine the possibility of putting the theoretical calues to actual use in the aerobic composting of the sewage sludge and hog manure. The results of the experiments are as follows : 1. In the ranges of 54∼60 % of moisture content of initial material, 7.3∼7.6 of pH, 27.3∼29.7 of C/N ratio and 0.35~0.37 gr / ㎤ of bulk weight, the experimental values of the periodical changes of moisture content, fermantation temperature and organic matter were approximately identical with the theoretical values of those. So those ranges were considered to be the optimum ranges. And it can be concluded that it is possible to plan an aerobic composting accdording to the theoretical formula. 2. When the ventilation volume was larger than 0.22 ㎥/hr·㎏, the evaporation loss of moisture content was great. When the ventilation volume was 0.0028 ㎥/hr·㎏, the anaerobic condition appeared. Thus we can judge the optimum range of venti1ation volume to be 0.02 - 0.06 ㎥/hr·㎏. 3. The CO^2 generation showed its maximum point of 0.85 mmole/day. g (VM) per organic matter between the temperature range of 58~66℃.

        용량별 죽력 투여가 생쥐의 간과 신장의 조직 및 혈액학적 변화에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen extracts (BE) has been used for various curative effect that remove intense heat from the heart, replenish deficiency Yin, nourish deficiency blood, resolve phlegm. This study was performed to investigate the toxicity of BE to mice according to the administered dosage. Methods : The experimental groups divided four. Control group treated saline, J1 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:15(0.05ml/kg), F2 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:7(0.05ml/kg), J3 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:17(0.05ml/kg). We administered BE to the mice for 24 weeks at interval of 48 hours, and investigated the body weight, changes in hematological profile, activities of the transaminase(GOT, GPT) and two hepatic antioxidant enzyme(SOD, catalase), and histological changes of the liver and kidney. Results : Leukocytes of J3 group were increased in the administered for 12 weeks, but decreased in the administered for 24 weeks. Platelets were decreased about 36% in J3 group treated for 12 weeks, but increased about 50% in the same group treated for 24 weeks. Blood total proteins were decreased slightly in the all experimental groups compared with control group. The activities of the transaminase and superoxide dismutase(SOD) were increased, but decreased activities of catalase in the J2 and J3 groups administered for 12 or 24 weeks. In the light microscopical observation, ballooned and injured hepatocytes in portal vein area of J1 group occurred, and dilated hepatocytes and disoriented sinusoid observed in J2 group administered extracts to mice for 24 weeks. Apoptosis occured in the ballooned and injured hepatocytes of the portal vein area in J3 group. A agglutination of RBC in glomerular capsule of the kidney observed in the J2 group, and destructed convoluted tubule observed in the J3 group treated for 24 weeks. Conclusions : These results indicate that mice treated with high dose BE develop a hematological changes, dysfuncton of the liver and kidney.

        수술가운의 착용실태에 관한 조사

        The situation of wearing of surgery gown and their awareness were surveyed to clinicians and nurses in operation rooms of major university hospitals in the country to develop and manufacture surgery gowns for medical personnels. The survey result was quantified to be used as a base data for design of surgery gowns with freshness and convenience as well as safety to wearers. In the inspection of surgery gowns focused on materials (cotton raw material and disposable nonwoven) and dissatisfaction, there was no significance in the activity and freshness with p-).745 and p-0.367, respectively, however, there was a significance in safety and management with p-0.011 and 0.049, respectively: disposable nonwoven gown showed higher satisfaction level in safety and management compared to cotton gowns.

      • 고탄력 팬티스타킹의 압력차이에 따른 피부온도의 변화 : The Change of Skin Temperature with different Pressure in Support Panty-Stocking

        In order to examine how much difference do they show skin temperatures when wear-ing, taking off and diferent pressure support panty-stocking(PS) under the cold environ-ment, skin temperature responses were observed on four females worn two types of Japan made PS that is 9 pressure PS(A) and 3 pressure PS(B) in environment 15.5±0.1℃ and 50±5% RH. The results were as follows ; 1) Mean skin temperature showed the difference of 0.4 ~ 0.9℃ temperature when wear-ing and taking off PS. It was higher in wearing A PS than B PS. 2) Forehead and trunk skin temperatures were higher in wearing A PS than B PS in every parts, and showed signifiant difference with stocking and wearing and taking off. 3) Upper extremity skin temperature was higher in wearing A PS than B PS and in tak-ing off B PS than A PS. Lower extremity skin temperature was higher in wearing B PS than A PS throughout every parts.

      • 인간 재조합 인터루긴-32 면역조절작용에 대한 유세포 분석

        Xenotransplantation of porcine organs has the potential to overcome the severe shortage of human tissues and organ available for human transplantation. however, it remains various hurdles for clinical xenotransplantation. In pig and mouse xenotransplantation, porcine xenograft evoke a strong cellular rejection response in immunocompetent host and grafts are destroyed within a week. This cellular immune response could involved both T cells and NK cells. A number of groups have shown that human NK cells can recognize and damage porcine endothelial cells. In addition, human T cells can respond to porcine endothelial cells through both direct and indirect mechanisms. Cellular rejection of porcine tissues requires T cells, particularly CD4^(+) cells. A new cytokine recombinant human interleukin-32α,β(IL-32α,β) has a role innate and acquired immune system. In order to investigate the role of recombinant mouse IL-18 and recombinant human IL-32α,β in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the PK(15) cells to C57BL/6 mice with or without intraperitoneal injection of recombinant mouse IL-18 or recombinant human IL-32 α,β. It was analyzed the population of NK cell, T cell and B cell in the C57BL/6 mice transplanted with PK(15) cells and recombinant mouse IL-18 or recombinant human IL-32α,β by flow cytometry analysis. As a result, lymph node and thymus of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group were increased to T cell activation population than normal injected groups. CD8^(+) T cells were decreased in lymph node of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected groups. CD4^(+) T cells were increased in lymph node cell of PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group and also, B cell population were increased in lymph node cell and spleen of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group. Therefore, we suggest that recombinant mouse IL-18 and recombinant human IL-32α,β suppress xenograft rejection in cellular xenotransplantation.

        슬랙스의 무릎절개선 활용에 따른 의복압 및 착용감

        The present study attempted to consider the effects of cutting lines in the knee parts of slacks on the clothing pressure and comfort. The study compared and analyzed the pressure imposed to the body in a stooping position and the consequent sensations felt by the wearer according to the slack shapes. The conclusion was drawn as follows: The pressure imposed by the slacks to the body is greater on the two points slightly upper and lower from the knee point than on the knee point itself, regardless of the slack shapes. Clothing pressure was lower in the slacks with 10 cm-wide and 14 cm-wide cutting lines in the knee parts than those with 18 cm-wide cutting lines. Subjective sensations felt in the knee parts were analyzed according to slacks shapes. As a result, it was found that slacks without cutting lines on the knee parts or with sewing lines far from the knee points were more comfortable. In slacks construction, the use of cutting lines in the knee parts can decrease pressure imposed to the knee area or improve the comfort of the slacks. When designing slacks, however, overall appearance should be considered and the weakness of cutting line that makes legs look shorter should also be complemented.

      • 자기정렬된 TiSi2 접합을 사용한 MOSFET 소자의 I-V 특성 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

        Self-aligned TiSi2 silicidation of shallow junctions in a 0.35 ㎛ MOSFET device is simulated with TSUPREM-4. The effect of resulting decrease in parasitic resistance at the source and drain junction was investigated by plotting Id vs. Vg and Id vs. Vd characteristics with the Medici simulation program. The doping profile in the source and drain regions show that out of 87.9 nm initial junction depth, Tisi2 was formed to the depth Of 36.2 nm after the silicidation process. With silicidation, the saturation drain current increased about 14% from 0.31458 mA/㎛ to 0.35938 mA/㎛ at Vg - Vt = 1.3 V. However, the on-off characteristic (Id vs. Vg) was found to be invariant under silicidation, contrary to the degradation in the on-off characteristic due to excessive Si consumption that is observed in real experiment.

        20~30대 성인여성의 신체계측치와 체지방의 상관성

        The research is focused on relationship between body fat percentage and physical characteristics of women in age group between 20s and 30s who experience great deal of physical change such as marriage, pregnancy, delivery, breast-feeding, and etc. The research used physical measurement of two hundreds women: 50 women in their early twenties, 50 women in their late twenties, 50 women in their early thirties, and 50 women in their late thirties. The research provides base data for women clothing industry by observing relationship between physical figure and body fat percentage rate based on obesity study on body fat percentage, physical BMI, Rohrer Index, and Vervaeck Index. Followings are conclusion of the research. The older the ages, the shorter the height and the heavier the weight. Recognizable differences in circumference, thickness, and width rather than in length are found. Also recognizable increases in average body fat percentage and average physical characteristics by age have found. By observing body fat percentage and physical measurements, it was revealed that weight has more effect on body fat percentage than height in all ages. Circumference, width, and thickness have more impact than length measurements among physical measurements. Main body or upper body has more impact than legs and arms or lower body. Body fat percentage increase rapidly by ages. 2.0% of age 20-24, 20.0% of age 25?29, 28.0% of age 30?34, and 54.0% of age 35?39 were sorted as obesity.
