To analyze dialy meal of royal meal, studied Jook Soora Sang (Rice Gruel), Mieum Sang (Thin Gruel) and Bankwa Sang, Soora Sang in Hyun Neung Won were on record Wonheng Ulmyo Jungri Euigwae (1795). Historic book "Jungri Euigwae" described the king's visit to his father's royal tomb "Hyun Neung Won", during the domain of Cheung Jo, the 22nd king of Choson Dynasty. The results obtained from this study are as follows. Rice Gruel (Jook Soora Sang), taken before breakfast, was arranged the same as the Soora Sang. The table for thin gruel (Mieum) was arranged in three kinds of sets; one for thin gruel, the others for stewed meat (Goem) and sugared fruit (Jeong Kwa). The diet seems to have been quit scientific and restorative. Bankwa Sang and Soora Sang in Hyun Neung Won was arranged the same as the other Bankwa Sang and Soora Sang. Therefore setting the table of royal meal had a rule.

This article examine the relation between Korea’s division system and the films of Shin Sang-ok, who was one of very famous Korean film directors in the golden age of Korean cinemas. Shin Sang-ok has been maybe the only Korean director, who produced his films in two Koreas. Before he was kidnapped by North Korean kidnap gangs, he was an outstanding film director in South Korea, who produced several popular films, as like 〈A Romance Papa〉, 〈King Yeonsan〉, 〈the evergreen tree〉, 〈a guest and mother)〉, 〈the Red muffler〉, and so on. Also, He managed the biggest film company ‘Shin Film’ and the biggest film studio ‘Anyang Film Studio’ in South Korea in 1960s, he maintained to good relation with the president Park Chung-hee’s government at that time. However, as Shin criticized the film policy of Park Chung-hee’s government, especially the problem of film censorship, the conflicts between them went to worse way in 1970’s. And then Shin was kidnapped with his ex-wife a famous Korean film actress Choi Eun-hee to North Korea. Shin abd Choi stayed in there during the 8 years and produced 7 films in North Korea’s Monolithic Ideal Logical System by Kim Jung-il’s enforcement and immense supports. At that time, Shin produced several remarkable films in North Korea, as like 〈not returned the emissary〉, 〈the salt〉, 〈a story of the escape〉. Finally, Shin and Choi escaped from North Korea for obtaining the freedom to the Western world. Two Koreas’s division system brought the restriction of creative film making to a film director Shin Sang-ok.

한국 하키 선수들의 의식 및 생활 실태조사(Ⅰ)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude and life-style of elite athletes by questionnaire. Total of 621 hockey players(female: middle school, 84 high school, 151; university and business team, 82 male: middle school, 109; high school, 111; university and business team, 84) who are currently registered at the Korean Amateur Athletic Association answered questionnaire made of 19 items. Collected data were analyzed by t-test and one-way ANOVA using SPSS-PC statistical package. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The most frequently selected reasons why they started their athletic carrier were "one's own choice" in younger players and "by teachers persuasion" in older ones. 2. Players were interested in physical activity itself. 3. 73.3% and 23.3% of players answered that their exercise sessions per week were 6 days and 7 days, respectively. 4. 25% and 59.9% of the players answered that average duration of daily exercise session were 3-4 hours and 5-6 hours, respectively. 5. The main purpose of playing hockey were getting permition to enter university or becoming a member of national team. 6. Preferred occupation in the future were "coach, team manager" in youngers and "school teacher, businessman" in older ones. 7. The older they were the lower the scores in self-satisfaction as being a hockey player. 8. Majority of the players selected "health" as the most valued thing in life. Among the answers "money" and "ability" were more frequently selected as in college age and above than middle and high school players. 9. Overall, "ability" and "sincerity" were selected as requirements for the success in life. However, "money" was more frequently selected a players became older. 10. Most players selected 'parent" as an influential people to them. "Friends" and "coach(manger)" were second most selected person among female and male players, respectively. 11. More than half of the players answered that they were not reading books at all and 35.6% of the players answered that they were reading 1-2 books per month.

There are two side needs for modern museums. First, substantial side, a pursuit effective of exhibition on the base of the use of various exhibition data. Second, physical side, making the exhibition environment for the interaction and the practical use of spectators with high-tech-tools. In this study, for the fix of existing problems, above mentioned, the proposal of the VR exhibition space and community museum system is made up with the practice use of cyber space, and the method, theoretical and practical, is proposed for realization in the cyber exhibition. The VR exhibition space is the cultural space and the place which people communicate with exhibition tools, so that should be designed for making new atmosphere to people in anytime to visit. And the obvious exhibition system and abundant information are needed for the various cultural needs of visitors. The VR museum is the new space that have no limit of exhibition and a most effective place for visitors to gain more and better information, so that is have the rational exhibition environment, that is, cultural informatively, people friendly and function conveniently.

Advances in mobile hardware enables high-end and high quality 3D mobile game. Mobile 3D game engine is a development library that handles graphical rendering, manager the game, the images, input, output, and general functions like AI, collision detection and other rendering facilities. Our objectives are implementing global functions existing on a mobile racing game in a single core block, separating graphical routines and game logic on Mobile environment. In this paper, we will survey current state of the art of Mobile 3D platform and show our mobile racing game on NF3D environment.

Pleomorphic adenoma is a circumscribed tumor characterized microscopically by its pleomorphic or mixed appearance, and its clearly recognizable epithelial tissue intermingled with areas of mucoid, myxoid, or chondroid appearance. Plemorphic adenoma, the most common tumor of the salivary glands, is now generally accepted as epithelial and benign adenoma. The palate is the most common site for minor salivary gland tumor. We experienced a case of pleomorphic adenoma occuring in the left retromolar pad area of unusual location. It is unusually large size so that the patient cannot close his mouth. The tumor occupied his mouth fully so that he has much difficulty in closing his mouth and breathing his breath. The lesion was treated with complete excision and reconstruced with buccal fat pedicle flap immediately on the operation under general anesthesia. Histopathological finding indicated pleomorphic adenoma on the left retromolar pad area.

Thermoplasma acidophilum의 20S Proteasome에 의한 ATPase-활성적 단백질분해에 관한 연구

The eukaryotic 26S proteasome is an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent proteolytic complex consisting of the 20S core particle and 19S ATPase complex. However, because of its complexity and unstable properties, this study was carried out to present more simple and stable model for the ATP-activated proteolytic complex in prokaryotes which can take the place of the eukaryotic 26S proteasome. For this purpose, recombinant Thermoplasma 20S proteasome (T20S) and Methanococcus MS4, a sequence homolog of one ATPase subunit in the 19S ATPase complex, were successfully isolated from Escherichia coli (E. coli). The α and β subunits of T20S expressed in E. coli could assemble for themselves, and showed the peptide-hydrolyzing activity. Whereas both T20S and R20S (the 20S complex from rabbit skeletal muscle) had the highest peptidase activity against Suc-LLVY-AMC, a good substrate for chymotrypsin-like peptidase activity, the specific activity of T20S was slightly lower than that of R20S. In addition, several reagents such as KCI, SDS, and ovalbumin were shown to have different effects on the peptidase activities between T20S and R20S. When the ATPase activity of the purified MS4 were assayed , the Km for ATP was about 0.5 mM, and casein could stimulate the activity more than 2 fold without the change in Km. This result implicates that protein-activated ATPase may induce the conformational change of casein, and therefore suggests that MS4 ATPase may activate the proteolytic activity of the 20S proteasome via accelerating the recognition and translocation of the protein substrates.
