Distribution characteristics of invasive alien plants in Jejudo

This study aims to conduct basic research on identifying and managing the current status of invasive alien plants by identifying the distribution of invasive alien plants and the structure of invasive alien plants colonies for each ecological type in Jejudo susceptible to inflow of invasive alien plants resulting from increasingly frequent international exchanges. According to the site survey, total 28 families, 82 genera, 115 species, three varieties, and 118 taxa were identified: 106 dwelling taxa, the greatest number of invasive alien plants; 58 coastal taxa; and 41 forest taxa. With regard to species composition, Compositae (27.1%) showed the largest distribution. The distribution of eight families and 49 taxa, such as parts of Amaryllidaceae, etc., were identified only in the Dwelling District; eight taxa, such as Diplotaxis muralis DC., etc., only in coastal areas; and six taxa, such as Gnaphalium purpureum L., etc., only in forest areas. Compositae, etc., are mostly sun plants with ecological features that allow them to easily invade disturbed areas, such as roadside, cutting areas, etc., rather than forest with low exposure to sunlight.

This study was conducted to investigate the distribution of wildbird at campus in Chungnam National University. The survey was carried over 5 districts by line transect method from May, 1999 to April 2000, The observed birds were 7 orders 21 families 46 species and 3,057 individuals, these consist of 25 species for residents, 12 species for summer visitors, 5 species for winter visitors, and 4 species for passage migrant. The average density of birds was 12 ea/ha, and main dominant species was Pica pica, Paradoxornis webbianus, Parus major, Aegithalos caudatus, Ixos amaurotis in order. Species richness of bird community showed a maximum value in spring, but density showed a maximum value in winter. Breeding bird community in study area were mainly predominated by hole-nesting guild, canopy-nesting guild and canopy-foraging guild. For the protection of wildbirds at campus, it needs to plant bushes around trails and to control users. Artificial food, water station and artificial nest are needed for the habituation of wildbirds.
골프 동호인의 운동욕구, 운동중독 및 운동지속 수행과의 관계모형

◈This study was to verify the model related between physical activity needs, exercise addiction, and exercise adherence for participative golfer. The subjects on this study were regular participation in golf training place. 394 participation answered to the questionnaire developed by preceding research. Reliability analysis and factor analysis on the data were done using SPSS 11.0 and descriptive statistics were used to verify the characteristic of the attendants. AMOS 5.0 was used to analyze the covariate structure(SEM) to investigate the relation of participation physical activity needs, exercise addiction, and exercise adherence. The result shows that the goodness of fit index of the modification that explains the relation of participation physical activity needs, exercise addiction, and exercise adherence the criterion index. And physical activity needs related with a positive exercise addiction. Physical activity needs doesn’t related with exercise adherence. Exercise addiction related with a highly positive exercise adherence in participative golfer. Ⅳ. 논 의

This study was carried out to investigate working time, productivity, and heart rate during thinning using chain saw in Japanese larch(Larix leptolepis) plantation site for analysis of physical work load, and to investigate maximal oxygen uptake of worker for analysis of maximal work capacity. The real working time was 366 minutes in a day ; about 192 minutes in the a.m., 174 minutes in the p.m.. The ratio of real working time per total working time was approximately 90%. The rate of moving(Mo) to real working times was 26.3, which was the largest one of work elements. Average maximal oxygen uptake, as an asset of personnel performance, was 2.42ℓ/min(46.5㎖/㎏/ min) . During the real working time, average productivity, the mean rate of increase of heart rate, and the mean work load index was 2.62㎥/hr, 93.2%, and 41.9%, respectively.

Objectives : This study was carried out investigate cultural conditions for artificial fruiting body production of Paecilomyces japonica. Methods : The formation period of an artificial fruiting body of Paecilomyces japonica treated with dried-silkworm, silkworm pupa and naked barley were 30 days and 35 days, respectively. Results : The length and diameter of fruiting body were longer and thicker in media of the naked barley than that of dried-silkworm. The optimum illumination was 200 lux for the fruiting body formation. Conclusion : The growth of fruiting body was not affected by three subsequent transculture, and the optimum inoculum size was six percent(w/v).
수박 엘리트 계통의 GBS를 통한 마커이용 육종용 SNP 마커 개발

This study was conducted to develop an SNP set that can be useful for marker-assisted breeding (MAB) in watermelon (Citrullus. lanatus L) using Genotyping-bysequencing (GBS) analysis of 20 commercial elite watermelon inbreds. The result of GBS showed that 77% of approximately 1.1 billion raw reads were mapped on the watermelon genome with an average mapping region of about 4,000 Kb, which indicated genome coverage of 2.3%. After the filtering process, a total of 2,670 SNPs with an average depth of 31.57 and the PIC (Polymorphic Information Content) value of 0.1~0.38 for 20 elite inbreds were obtained. Among those SNPs, 55 SNPs (5 SNPs per chromosome that are equally distributed on each chromosome) were selected. For the understanding genetic relationship of 20 elite inbreds, PCA (Principal Component Analysis) was carried out with 55 SNPs, which resulted in the classification of inbreds into 4 groups based on PC1 (52%) and PC2 (11%), thus causing differentiation between the inbreds. A similar classification pattern for PCA was observed from hierarchical clustering analysis. The SNP set developed in this study has the potential for application to cultivar identification, F1 seed purity test, and marker-assisted backcross (MABC) not only for 20 elite inbreds but also for diverse resources for watermelon breeding.
