        민사재판에 있어서의 참심·배심

        Recently there have been growing concern for lay participation to judicial process in Korea. Accessible and open justice is a new maxim. But to my regret studies on the agenda are not yet thorough enough for us to cope with this new era's demand. From the viewpoint of improving the quality of justice system and acquiring the democratic legitimacy, there is no controversy on whether to adopt a new lay participation system or not. To achieve these goals, we should now answer theses questions such as what kind of measures for us to take, how to draw road map and to set up time table, etc. I wish we discuss these tasks in more open-minded way without any preconceived idea, given the future of our judicial system, in which our citizens would be the central operating body. As comparing with bench trials, lay participation to judicial process such as jury trials gets to the truth, assures final case resolutions, achieves fairness, draws on broader community sentiment, group rather than individual judgments, and broad range of experience, serves as a barrier to official abuse of courts, and promotes public acceptance of courts. These functions serves well in civil trials as well as criminal trials. In these days we experience a Korean style lawsuit explosion in civil dockets. Even though overburdened caseload in civil actions make worse the adoption of jury system in civil procedure, Korean citizens' heightened self-consciousness for their own rights and procedural autonomy is a good foundation for constructing a new lay participation system. So we have not to be pessimistic for considering the adoption of lay participation system in civil matters in advance. Given the function of lay participation system, American jury system is superior to German lay-persons tribunal. But German system is more effective model to adopt lay participation in an early stage. For my own opinion, the ideal model for lay participation to civil process is American jury system. But in order to invent such an ideal system in Korean judicial process and to implement it, we need time to prepare and need to approach in step-by-step manner. And we could introduce several types of German stile lay-persons tribunal system into our administration of justice for the time being. In accomplishing our mission for these kinds of judicial reform agenda faithfully, I would like to emphasize that we should focus on Korean people, and sincerely understand who they are, what they think of, and what they want to be. In this situation we need empirical research for Korean society first of all.

        MarSel : 대용량 SNP 일배체형 데이터에 대한 연관불균형기반의 tagSNP 선택 시스템

        Recently the tagSNP selection problem has been researched for reducing the cost of association studies between human's diversities and SNPs. General approach for this problem is that all of SNPs are separated into appropriate blocks and then tagSNPs are chosen in each block.MarSel in this paper is the system that involved the concept of linkage disequilibrium for overcoming the problem that the existing block partitioning approaches have short of biological meanings. In most approaches, the contiguous regions, which recombinations have not been occurred in, may be separated into several blocks. Otherwise, in MarSel, the each contiguous region is kept into one block using LD coefficient |D'| and then tagSNP selection step is performed.And MarSel guarantees the minimum tagSNP selection using entropy-based optimal selection algorithm when tagSNPs are chosen in each block, and enables chromosome-level association studies using efficient memory management technique when input is very large-scale dataset that is impossible to be processed in the existing systems. 최근 인간의 다양성과 SNP과의 연관연구에 드는 비용을 줄이기 위해서, 최소의 tagSNP을 선택하는 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 일반적으로 많은 수의 SNP들을 여러 블록으로 분할하여 각 블록 내에서 tagSNP을 선택하는 접근방법이 사용되고 있다.본 논문에서 구현된 MarSel은 기존의 블록분할 접근 방법의 문제로 볼 수 있는 생물학적 의미의 부족을 해결하고자, 연관불균형(Linkage Disequilibrium, LD)의 개념을 도입한 시스템이다. 기존의 접근방법에서는 생물학적으로 재조합(recombination)이 일어나지 않는 연속된 구간에서도 여러 블록으로 나누어지는 문제가 생겼던 반면, MarSel에서는 연관불균형 계수 |D'|에 의해서 연속된 구간이 하나의 블록으로 유지된 상태에서 tagSNP을 선택하게 된다.또한 MarSel에서는 각 블록 내에서 tagSNP을 선택 할 때에 엔트로피(entropy) 기반의 최적해 알고리즘을 이용함으로써 최소한의 tagSNP선택을 보장하게 되며, 기존의 구현된 시스템들보다 더 많은 양의 데이터를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있도록 구현되었기 때문에 염색체 레벨의 연관연구도 가능하게 해준다. 攀※ 본 연구는 한국 과학 재단의 특정 기초 연구 과제로 지원받아 수행하였음(R01-2003-000-11573-0).†준 회 원:중앙대학교 컴퓨터공학부 석사과정††준 회 원:중앙대학교 컴퓨터공학부 박사과정†††종신회원:중앙대학교 컴퓨터공학부 교수논문접수:2005년 6월 24일, 심사완료:2006년 1월 31일攀攀

        DMZ 접경지역 인근 고령산·개명산(파주시, 경기도) 일대의 식물상

        This survey was conducted in order to investigate the vascular plants of Mt. Goryeong and Gaemyeong in the DMZ area of Korea. The vascular plants were collected eight times from April 2014 to October 2014 and consisted a total of 450 taxa; 91 families, 279 genera, 391 species, 4 subspecies, 49 varieties and 6 forms. The observed rare plant species as designated by Korea Forest Service were 5 taxa including Tylophora floribunda Miq., Aristolochia contorta Bunge, Viola albida Palib., etc. Endemic plant species were 6 taxa containing Aconitum pseudolaeve Nakai, Clematis brachyura Maxim., Clematis trichotoma Nakai, etc. 33 taxa were listed as specific plant species based on phytogeographical in the investigated area. 35 taxa were recorded as naturalized plants, and their naturalized rate and urban index were noted as 7.7%, and 10.9%, respectively. Of the 450 taxa listed; 186 were edible plants, 173 pasture plants, 149 medicinal plants, 51 omamental plants, 20 timber plants, 13 stain plants, 4 fiber plants, 4 industrial plants and 92 unknown resource plants.

        3차원 영상인식을 위한 다중영상매핑 시스템 에 대한 연구

        Techniques to be developed in this study is intended to apply to an existing integrated control system to "A Study on the multiple Texture Rendering system for three-dimensional Image Signal Recognition" technology or become a center of the building control system in real time video. so, If the study plan multi-image mapping system developed, CCTV camera technology and network technology alone that is, will be a number of security do not have to build a linked system personnel provide services that control while the actual patrol, the other if necessary systems and linked to will develop a system that can reflect the intention Ranger. 본 연구에서 개발 하고자 하는 기술은 3차원 가상현실을 위한 다중 영상매핑 시스템에 관한 연구 로 기존 통합 관제 시스템에 적용하거나 실시간 영상 관제 시스템 구축의 중심기술이 되고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 계획한 다중 영상 매핑 시스템이 개발된다면, CCTV카메라기술과 네트워크 기술만으로도 즉, 다수의 연계된 시스템을 구축하지 않아도 보안담당자가 실제 순찰하면서 관제하는 서비스를 제공할 것이며, 필요하다면 타 시스템과 연계하여 순찰자의 의도를 반영할 수 있는 시스템으로 발전시킬 것이다. 또한, 이러한 시스템이 개발된다면 보안담당자의 재난 및 안전위협을 초래하는 상황에서 벗어날 수 있는 동시에 비교적 소규모의 경제력을 가진 사용자에게도 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        강화도 지역 3개 산지의 관속식물상

        This study is aimed at identifying the distribution of vascular plants growing at Byeollipsan(Mt.), Bongchunsan (Mt.) and Gucksoosan(Mt.) in Ganghwa isand. Field surveys were conducted for each season from March 2015 to October 2015. The flora of study area were found to be of 455 taxa, 93 families, 280 genus, 392 species, 4 subspecies, 53 varieties and 6 forma. Rare plants were found to be of 3 taxa. Among them, rare plant species consisted of endangered species (EN degree):1 (Thalictrum simlex var. brevipes Hara), vulnerable species (VU degree): 2 (Wikstroemia trichotoma (Thunb.) Makino, Scorzonera albicaulis Bunge), respectively. In all the surveyed areas, a total of 6 taxa (Clematis brachyura Maxim. etc.) were found to be endemic to Korea. The floristic special plants found in the surveyed areas were 1 taxa of grade Ⅴ, 4 taxa of grade Ⅳ and 8 taxa of grade Ⅲ, respectively. The naturalized plants were identified as 29 taxa and included Fallopia dumetorum (L.) Holub, Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Aster pilosus Willd. etc..

        Antenna Selection Schemes in Quadrature Spatial Modulation Systems

        This paper presents antenna selection schemes for recently proposed quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) systems. The antenna selection strategy is based on Euclidean distance optimized antenna selection (EDAS). The symbol error rate (SER) performance of these schemes is compared with that of the corresponding algorithm associated with spatial modulation (SM) systems. It is shown through simulations that QSM systems using EDAS offer significant improvement in terms of SER performance over SM systems with EDAS. Their SER performance gains are seen to be about 2 dB–4 dB in Es/N0 values.
