        노인의 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능의 관계에서 사회적 활동 참여의 조절효과

        본 연구는 노인의 디지털 리터러시가 인지기능에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능 간 관계에서 사회적 활동의 조절효과를 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2020년도 노인실태조사에 응답한 대상자 중 65세 이상 노인 9,920명의 자료를 활용하였으며, 디지털 리터러시는 독립변수, 인지기능은 종속변수, 사회적 활동 유무는 조절변수로 설정하고 SPSS 29.0을 사용하여 위계적 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과, 사회적 활동에 참여하지 않는 노인이 사회적 활동에 참여하는 노인보다 전반적으로 인지기능이 낮았으며, 노인의 디지털 리터러시는 인지기능에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 노인의 사회적 활동 유무는 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능의 관계에서 유의한 조절효과가 있음을 검증하였으며, 이는 디지털 리터러시가 인지기능에 미치는 영향이 사회적 활동을 하는 집단에 비해 사회적 활동을 하지 않는 집단에서 더욱 큰 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 디지털 정보화 사회에서 노인의 인지기능을 높이기 위해 디지털 리터러시 교육의 활성화 및 다양한 사회적 활동 참여의 확대 방안 또한 함께 고려할 필요가 있음을 제언한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of digital literacy on cognitive function in the elderly and verify moderating effect of social activities on the relationship between digital literacy and cognitive impairment. Data from 9,920 self-respondents in the 2020 Korean Elderly Survey were used. Digital literacy was set as the independent variable, cognitive function as the dependent variable, and social activities as the moderate variable and hierarchical regression analysis was performed using SPSS 29.0. As a results, elderly people who did not participate in social activities had lower overall cognitive function than those who participated in social activities, and digital literacy was found to have a positive effect on cognitive function. Lastly, the social activities of the elderly showed a significant moderating effect in the relationship between digital literacy and cognitive function which means that the impact of digital literacy on cognitive function is greater in the socially inactive elderly group than in the socially active elderly group. Based on these results, it is necessary to expand digital literacy education in the digital information society and consider ways to participate in various social activities to improve cognitive function of the elderly.

        의사결정나무 분석을 활용한 노인의 낙상 발생 예측 모형: 시력 불편감 요인을 중심으로

        PURPOSE This study aims to identify factors that can predict fall accidents focusing on vision discomfort and health-related factors in the elderly population through decision tree analysis. METHOD This study used data from the 2020 survey on the welfare and living conditions of the elderly and the sample was 9,920 elderly people. Data analysis was performed using decision tree analysis. RESULT First, those who had vision discomfort, poor subjective health status, and IADL limitations had the highest rate of falling(23.7%). Second, those who did not have vision discomfort, no IADL limitations, and those with a spouse had the lowest rate of falling(3.1%). CONCLUSION To prevent falls in the elderly, it is necessary to pay attention to visual discomfort and also health-related factors such as activities of daily living and depression.

        함정 근무 장병의 신체활동 관련 요인: 생태학적 접근

        Purpose: This study was conducted to measure the relationships between ecological factors and Navy personnel`s physical activity (PA) based on McLeroy's Ecological model. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with a convenience sample of 184 Navy personnel working in 10 Navyships. A self-reporting questionnaire consisted of measures of intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational and community factors related to Navy personnel`s PA. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, x2-test, t-test, analysis of variance, and hierarchical multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 17.0 programs. Results: Their mean PA level was 2,848.1±3,344.5 METmin/week, and mostly moderate level (50.5%). Hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that religion,working department, working type, perceived health status and community environment were significant PA correlates. Conclusion: Community environmental factors as well as intrapersonal factors were significantly associated with Navy personnel's PA, indicating that community health nurses should expand an approach for individual-level behavioral change to incorporate Navy personnel specific community environmental barriers into PA interventions.

        교양골프 수업 참여 여대생의 지각된 동기분위기가 운동지속의도에 미치는 영향 : 수업만족의 매개효과

        본 연구는 대학 교양골프 수업에 참여하는 여학생들의 지각된 동기분위기와 운동지속의도 간의 관계에서 수업만족의 매개효과를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울과 인천지역 3개 여대에서 교양골프 수업에 참여하는230명의 여대생에게 지각된 동기분위기, 수업만족, 운동지속의도에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였고 이중 결측문항이있거나 불성실한 응답 2명의 질문지를 제외한 228부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 3가지 척도의신뢰도와 타당도 검증을 거친 후 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석을 실시하였으며 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 통해 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과, 수행분위기와운동지속의도 간 관계에서 수업만족의 매개효과가 나타나지 않았지만 숙련분위기와 운동지속의도 간 관계에서수업만족의 매개효과는 존재하였다. 즉 숙련분위기에서 높은 수업만족은 참여의지를 증가시키고 무의지는 감소시키면서 결과적으로 운동지속의도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 학생들의 수업만족을 높이고 운동참여를 지속시키기 위해서 교수자는 수행분위기보다는 숙련분위기의 수업을 형성하도록 노력해야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate mediated effects of class satisfaction in relation to perceived motivational climate and exercise adherence intention in women university students participating golf. A survey was conducted on 230 students who participating golf in three different women’s universities. 228 data were analyzed. For data processing, SPSS 18.0 Program was used to perform Cronbach’s a, descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. AMOS 18.0 Program was used for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis. Results of this study were as follows: class satisfaction was mediated in relation between mastery climate and exercise adherence intention whereas performance climate was not mediated between them. Therefore, class satisfaction was an important mediator in promoting mastery climate and exercise adherence intention. This findings suggest that instructors would consider to create mastery climate to improve student‘s class satisfaction and further exercise adherence intention.

        Molecular Cloning and Expression Patterns of a Serpin-2 from the Beet Armyworm, Spodoptera exigua

        Serpins are known to play a critical role in insect imunity and physiology. Here, we present a 1,296 nucleotide sequence of a serpin gene from the beet armyworm, Spodoptera exigua ing the conserved reactive center loop (RCL) residues found in serpin, and has the highest identity to Bombyx mori serpin-2 (67%). In addition, it has a homology to serpins of other insects such as Lonomia obliqua (6%), Manduca sexta (52%), and Plutella xylostella (41%). RT-PCR analysis eichoic acid (LTA), whereas SeCecropinB i s i n d u c e d u n d e r t h e s a m e c o n d i t i o n . I n a d i t i o n , i t i s n o t i nduced by nucleopolyhedrosis virus of S. exigua (SeNPV), whereas SeCecropinB and inhibitor of apoptosis (SeNPV-IAP) are induced by SeNPV infection. The lack of dramatic induction of S. exigua t i t m a y h a v e a n unknown function during the developmental stages albeit it remains to be further elucidated.

        Induction Patterns of Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling (SOCS) by Immune Elicitors in Anopheles sinensis

        Suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) is known to be as a negative feedback regulator in Janus kinase signal transducer and activator of transcription signaling. Highly conserved SOCS box domain was cloned from a Korean malaria vector, Anopheles sinensis. Sequence analysis indicates that it has identity to Anopheles gambiae (96%), Aedes aegypti (94%), Drosophila melanogaster (78%), Mus musculus (72%) and Homo sapiens (72%), respectively. Tissue specificity RT-PCR demonstrated that the expression level of AsSOCS transcript was high at abdomen, midgut, and ovary, whereas developmental expression patterns showed that the level of AsSOCS was high at egg, early pupae, and adult female. On the other hand, RT-PCR analysis after bacterial challenge showed that SOCS mRNA was strongly induced in larvae. In addition, it was also induced by various immune elicitors such as lipoteicoic acid, CpG-DNA, and laminarin. It seems that AsSOCS, repressor of JAK-STAT pathway, is highly conserved in mosquito, and may play an important role in mosquito innate immune response.

        Cloning and blood-meal dependent induction pattern of apolipophorin-III from Anopheles sinensis

        Apolipophorin-III is known to play a role in transporting lipids in insects, and much attention has been paid to lepidopteran insects' apolipophorin. Thus, we were interested in examining the effects of blood-meal on the expression pattern of apolipophorin-III in mosquitoes. This led us to clone and partially characterize the full-length cDNA of apoLp-III (AnsiApoLp-III) from Anopheles sinensis. Analysis of AnsiApoLp-III cDNA shows that the 728-bp sequence has a 582-bp protein-coding region with 94 bp of putative 5' untranslated region and 152 bp of 3' untranslated region. The deduced amino acid sequence begins with a methionine codon at position 95 and extends to position 674, encompassing a polypeptide of 193 amino acids. AnsiApoLp-III has the highest identity (63%) to Culex quinquefasciatus apoLp-III. Temporal expression pattern analysis shows that although AnsiApoLp-III was expressed at all developmental stages, it was highly detected at egg and adult stages in the female mosquitoes. In addition, we found out that AnsiApoLp-III was induced in An. sinensis adult females after uptaking a blood-meal. Spatial expression patterns of AnsiApoLp-III shows that AnsiApoLp-III mRNA was strongly induced at day 1 and gradually decreased from day 1 to day 4 in the ovaries. Most interestingly, AnsiApoLp-III mRNA in the Malpighian tubule was strongly induced at day 1, decreased during days 1–3, and then became elevated again at day 4. These data suggest that blood-meal influences AnsiApoLp-III mRNA induction in ovaries and Malpighian tubules. It remains to further elucidate the biological roles of AnsiApoLp-III in these organs.
