        통근비용절감을 통한 서울근교도시 거주자의 주택구입능력 개선효과

        This study has analyzed the effect of the housing affordability improvement of the residents in the metropolitan areas, applying Transit Supportive Home Loan (TSHL) which extends the loan amount according to the transportation cost saving based on Location Efficiency Mortgage (LEM) System in the USA. The previous studies focused on introducing LEM system to Korea, whereas this study has analyzed TSHL effect for the first time, taking into account the situation in Korea. For analysis, The Transportation Savings (TS) is calculated and Housing Affordability Index (HAI) is drawn by applying increased TS and DTI (Debt to Income), so the improvements of housing purchasing ability is examined by HAI's improvement. As a result, transit commute 1 (having own car) and transit commute 2 (without having own cars) respectively produce the TS of monthly average 36 thousand won and 110 thousand won in comparison with car using commute. Each additional loan (TSHL) amounts to 16.57 million won and 54.07 million won. As the distance is farther and the house price cheaper, the improvement of HAI is more outstanding. City hall area showed the highest improvements of HAI by 9.3% (transit commute 1) and 21.9% (transit commute 2) increase, in comparison with car using commute.

        약물 중단에도 지속되는 약인성 파킨슨증후군 환자의 한의 치험 1례

        This study examined the effectiveness of Korean medical treatment in a patient with persistent drug-induced parkinsonism after drug discontinuation. The changes in symptoms were assessed using the unified parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS), postural instability-gait disturbance (PIGD) score, and the 20 m gait time and steps. After 22 days of hospitalization, the UPDRS, PIGD score, and 20 m gait time and steps showed clinically significant improvement. The improvement persisted after discharge. This study indicated that Korean medical treatment could be an effective alternative therapy for treating persistent drug-induced parkinsonism after drug discontinuation.

        ■ Objectives The purpose is to report the case of Korean medicine in the treatment of bilateral superior altitudinal hemianopia after a stroke. ■ Methods The patient was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee venom, and herbal medicine. The visual field defect was assessed using humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test. ■ Results After treatment, humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test showed improvement in field of vision ■ Conclusion This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating visual field defect after stroke.

        탄산칼슘 분말을 충진시킨 열가소성 탄성체 복합재의 제조 및 차음 특성

        Composites of ceramic powders and an elastomer-based matrix were prepared by mixing $CaCO_3$ powders with polyethylene and polypropylene elastomers, and their mechanical and sound insulation properties were measured. $CaCO_3$ powders with 0.7 ${\mu}m$ and 35 ${\mu}m$ particle size were added to elastomers up to 80 wt%. Scanning electron microscopy photographs showed uniform distribution of the $CaCO_3$ powders in the matrix. While density and surface hardness increased, melt index, tensile strength and elongation of the composites decreased as the amount of added $CaCO_3$ powders increased. As more $CaCO_3$ powders were added sound transmission loss of the composites increased owing to the increase of density. Addition of 0.7 ${\mu}m$ sized $CaCO_3$ powders resulted in a slightly higher transmission loss than the addition of 35 ${\mu}m$ sized powders because of the increased interface area between the elastomer matrix and the $CaCO_3$ powders. Composites with a polyethylene matrix showed higher transmission loss than those with a polypropylene matrix because the tensile strength and hardness of the polyethylene-based composites were low and their elongation was high.

        ■ Objectives The purpose of this case is to report the effectiveness of Korean medicine in the treatment of early stage multiple system atrophy-cerebellar ataxia(MSA-C) ■ Methods The patient was treated with acupuncture, bee venom, and herbal medicine. The clinical symptoms was assessed using unified multiple system atrophy rating scale(UMSARS) and 20M gait time and steps. ■ Results After treatment, UMSARS score and 20M gait time and steps showed improvement. ■ Conclusion This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating early stage MSA-C.

        음이온계 고분자에 의한 수중 콜로이드 물질의 안정화 및 불안정화

        수중 음이온계 고분자 물질과 콜로이드의 상호작용은 입자 안정화, 혹은 반대로 응집에 영향을 미친다. 예를 들어, 휴믹물질의 경우 입자 안정화하고 PAM의 경우 입자 응집을 도모한다. Stericrepulsion 작용하에는 입자표면의 고분자물질이 입자 반발력을 증대시켜 안정화 한다. Chargeneutralization 에서는 고분자물질이 입자표면의 정전기력을 중화시키므로 응집을 증대시킨다. Bridging mechanism 작용하에는 고분자물질이 입자를 서로 엉겨붙게 만들어 응집을 증대시킨다. 이와 같은 고분자 물질의 입자 응집 및 안정화 작용에는 다양한 물리화학적 요인들이 영향을 미치므로 향후 지속적인 연구가 필요하다. The interaction mechanisms between anionic polymers and colloids are important because they are determining mobilization and aggregation of colloids. Though both PAMs and humic substances are anionic polymers, they are subject to different fates of colloidal substances, mobilization and aggregation, respectively. Humic substances stabilize colloids by steric effect, whereas PAMs destabilize or aggregate colloids by charge neutralization and bridging effect. In steric repulsion, humic substances adsorbed on colloidal surfaces behave as a shielding fence for colloids to collide and aggregate each other. In charge neutralization, anionic colloids are neutralized by adding anionic PAMs and yield the higher collision and aggregation efficiencies of colloids. In bridging mechanism, PAMs are adsorbed onto clay surfaces by various bonding mechanisms and eventually destabilize colloids by forming bridges between colloidal particles. All these mechanisms are governed by various factors such as pH, inonic strength, cation concentrations, molecular weight and charge density of polymers, etc. However, though many researches reported these stabilization and destabilization mechanisms, the further investigations are still required to solve the interwoven complexity of these mechanisms.

        지방자치단체의 R&D 투자 유사・중복이 사업 생산성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        R&D분야에서의 유사・중복은 전반적인 성과를 제거하고 비효율을 야기하는 요인으로 지적받았고 이를 개선하기 위해 많은 정책적 노력을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 가외성에 주목하는 연구들은 일정 조건을 확보하면 사업의 유사・중복성은 사업 추진의 안정성을 확보하고 사업별 리스크를 보완하여 총체적인 효과성을 제고한다고 주장한다. 이에 본 연구는 지방 R&D 투자의 사업집중도를 중심으로 지역별 유사․중복사업의 추진과 사업성과 간 관계를 분석하였다. 2007년부터 2018년까지의 국가연구개발사업을 대상으로 분석한 결과에 따르면 유사・중복수준이 높은 연구분야의 연구성과가 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 높게 나타났으며, 유사・중복이 낮은 연구영역 대비 생산성 또한 낮지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 공공부문에서의 복잡성에 따른 가외성이 불가피한 요소라면 이를 최대한 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 다양한 방안들을 강구하여 유사・중복에 따른 비효율을 방지하는 것이 중요하다고 판단된다. Similarity and redundancy in the R&D field have drawn attention as factors getting rid of overall performances and causing inefficiency, and many policy efforts are made to improve this. And yet, studies paying attention to redundancy argues that the similarity and redundancy of business promote the overall effectiveness, securing the stability of business promotion and supplementing risks by the business if certain conditions are secured. Thus, this study analyzed the relationship between the promotion of similar businesses and business performances by region, centering around the business concentration of regional R&D investment. According to the result of an analysis of the national R&D program from 2007 through 2018, research performances were high at a statistically significant level in the research areas with high levels of similarity and redundancy, and productivity was not low compared to research areas with low similarity and redundancy. Thus, if redundancy according to complexity in the public sector is an inevitable element, it is judged that it would be important to prevent inefficiency according to similarity and redundancy, devising various measures for effectively managing that as much as possible.

        차세대유전체해독 기법을 이용한 소 유전체 해독 연구현황

        최근 차세대염기서열해독법(Next Generation Sequencing, NGS)의 급속한 발전에 힘입어, 다양한 가축 종에 대한 전장유전체 수준의 해독 및 분석 연구수행이 가능하게 되었다. 소의 경우 현재 한우, 칡소, 흑우, 제주흑우 4품종의 재래소가 국제연합식량농업기구 가축다양성 정보시스템에 등록돼 있는 상태이다. 이러한 재래유전자원은 최근 NGS 기술을 이용 전장유전체에 걸친 대용량의 단일염기다형성 정보를 얻는데 성공하였으며, 또한 한국 재래소품종이 유럽기원의 소 품종들과 유전학적으로 차이가 있다는 점이 밝혀졌다. 또한 소 유전체학 분야에서 이 NGS의 응용은 유전체의 구조적 변이 특히 종전 대용량으로 정확한 발굴이 어려웠던 전장유전체에 널리 퍼진 복제수변이의 발굴에 성공적으로 적용되었다. 이러한 일련의 성공에도 불구하고 최근 NGS를 이용한 연구는 내재적인 한계점이 있었는데, 이는 연구 당시 고가의 연구비용 및 분석의 난해함으로 인해 각 대표 소 품종의 단수 또는 소수 개체에 대해서만 적용되었다는 점이 그 대표적 예라 할 수 있을 것이다. 즉, NGS에서 파생된 데이터의 보다 정확한 생물학적 의의를 찾기 위해서는 추가 실험적 검증과 더불어 면밀한 해석이 필요하다는 점을 시사하는 것이다. 최근 차세대염기서열 해독 비용이 지속으로 하락하고 있으며, 이는 단수개체가 아닌 집단수준에서의 NGS적용이 가능해 짐에 따라 다양한 집단유전체학적 이론이 접목된 연구가 가능해지고 있다. 현재 국내 재래소 품종에 대한 집단수준에서의 연구는 극히 미흡한 상태이나, 이러한 상황은 최근 고밀도 칩, 차세대염기서열 자료와 같은 대용량 유전정보를 생산, 분석 중에 있어 재래가축에 대한 집단수준에서의 연구가 일부 해소될 것으로 기대된다. Thanks to recent advances in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology, diverse livestock species have been dissected at the genome-wide sequence level. As for cattle, there are currently four Korean indigenous breeds registered with the Domestic Animal Diversity Information System of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations: Hanwoo, Chikso, Heugu, and Jeju Heugu. These native genetic resources were recently whole-genome resequenced using various NGS technologies, providing enormous single nucleotide polymorphism information across the genomes. The NGS application further provided biological such that Korean native cattle are genetically distant from some cattle breeds of European origins. In addition, the NGS technology was successfully applied to detect structural variations, particularly copy number variations that were usually difficult to identify at the genome-wide level with reasonable accuracy. Despite the success, those recent studies also showed an inherent limitation in sequencing only a representative individual of each breed. To elucidate the biological implications of the sequenced data, further confirmatory studies should be followed by sequencing or validating the population of each breed. Because NGS sequencing prices have consistently dropped, various population genomic theories can now be applied to the sequencing data obtained from the population of each breed of interest. There are still few such population studies available for the Korean native cattle breeds, but this situation will soon be improved with the recent initiative for NGS sequencing of diverse native livestock resources, including the Korean native cattle breeds.
