        산업연관분석을 이용한 역모기지의 경제파급효과 분석

        본 논문은 2007년∼2009년중의 산업연관표를 이용하여 2007년∼2009년중의 각 연도의 역모기지 지급액이 소비를 통하여 우리나라의 생산, 부가가치, 수입 및 고용에 미치는 파급효과를 실증 분석한 연구이다. 분석한 결과 생산, 부가가치, 수입 등 유발액과 고용유발인원은 매년 역모기지 금액이 커짐에 따라 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 역모기지 지출액 1단위당 각 유발액(인원)의 크기를 나타내는 유발계수 중 생산유발계수와 부가가치유발계수는 각각 2007년에 비해 2008년은 하락하였다가 2009년에는 상승하였다. 수입유발계수는 이와 반대로 2008년은 2007년에 비해 상승하였으나 2009년에는 하락하였으며 고용유발계수는 2007년에 비해 2008년에 하락하였다. 역모기지는 급격한 고령화 현상을 보이는 우리나라의 고령층에게 노후 보장과 생활안정의 역할을 하는 동시에 국민경제에도 생산, 부가가치, 고용 등의 측면에서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. This paper attempts to estimate the economic effects of the Korean reverse mortgage system on the Korean economy, capitalizing upon the 2007, 2008 and 2009 national Input-Output tables. The results show that the respective amount and number of production, value added, import and employment inducement have increased as the size of reverse mortgages has been enlarged since its start in 2007. The coefficients of production and value added decreased in 2008 compared with those of 2007, but both respectively increased in 2009 relative to those of 2008. The coefficient of import inducement increased in 2008 compared to that of 2007, while it decreased in 2009. For the coefficient of employment inducement, it declined in 2008 relative to that of 2007. Given the ageing society very rapidly coming into existence in Korea, the reverse mortgage system can not only play the role of safety net for the elderly but also make positive contributions to the national economy through consumption in terms of production, value added and employment.

        우리나라 부동산업의 성장요인 분석

        본 논문은 2005년 가격기준의 1995-2000-2005-2009년 접속불변산업연관표를 이용하여 1995~2009년중 부동산 등 전산업의 산업구조 변화를 살펴보고 Miller and Blair(2009)의 모형을 이용하여 부동산업의 성장요인을 수요측면에서 소비, 투자, 수출, 기술계수변화의 4개 요소로 분해하여 파악한 연구이다. 1995∼2009년중 실질산출액 비중으로 산업의 구조변화를 보면 Clark의 경제발전단계상 우리나라는 2차 산업에서 3차 산업으로 이행되는 경제의 서비스화가 이루어지고 있으나, 부동산업은 2000년 이후 비중이 줄어들고 있어 Clark의 경제발전단계설에는 역행하고 있다. 또한 2000년 이후 제조업의 비중이 늘어나는 반면 부동산업, 건설업 등의 비중이 줄어들고 있어 Daniel Bell 분류기준에 따른 탈공업화단계는 아직 진행되지 않고 있다. Miller and Blair의 산업연관모형을 수정 이용하여 분석한 1995~2009년중 부동산업의 성장은 소비(80.7%)가 주도하였으며, 투자(15.0%), 수출(8.9%)도 어느 정도 산출액 증가에 기여하였으나, 기술계수변화(-4.6%)는 산출액 감소에 기여하였다. 소비요인은 부동산업의 하위부문중 민간소비에 거의 배분이 되는 산업특성을 가진 주거서비스부분의 소비기여율에 큰 영향을 받았다. 부동산업의 경우 전산업에서의 산출액 비중이 2000년 이후 저조한 소비 때문에 점차 낮아지고 있어 정책적인 경기조절수단으로서의 역할이 줄어들고 있다. 또한 부동산업이 소비의 크기에 의해 성장이 좌우되는 것으로 나타나 향후 고령화의 진행과 인구의 정체나 감소 등으로 인한 소비부진과 주택, 건물의 신축 부진으로 임차료, 중개료, 취득세, 감정료 등의 부동산업 산출액의 감소세가 전망된다. 이러한 추세하에서 공정 시장질서의 확립과 규제합리화를 통해 지속가능한 거래기반을 확립함으로써 부동산업의 산출액, 고용 및 부가가치의 절대규모가 커지도록 하여 국민경제상에서의 위치가 높아지도록 하여야 한다. 또한 양질의 전문 인력 양성과 확보, 연구개발 투자 확대, 부동산 금융제도에 대한 선진화 구축 등 부동산업의 질적 발전을 통하여 재테크 대상으로서의 부동산에 대한 인식을 벗어나 지속가능한 산업으로서의 성장이 필요하다. This paper examines the changes in all industrial structure including the real estate sector for the period of 1995~2009 based on the consolidated 1995-2000-2005-2009 input-output tables at constant 2005 level, and analyzes the growth factors of the real estate industry from the demand side by dividing them into the four elements of consumption, investment, export and technology coefficients using the input-output model of Miller and Blair (2009). Looking at the structural changes in terms of the real output proportion during 1995~2009, our economy showed an economic trend of moving toward the service industry, a transition from the secondary to the tertiary industry, based on the theory of economic development stages by Clark. The real estate industry however ran counter to Clark’s theory as its proportion in the whole economy decreased after 2000. Moreover, as the portions of the real estate and construction industries decreased while the portion of the manufacturing industry increased after 2000, our economy did not reach post-industrialization yet in accordance with Daniel-Bell’s classification criteria. Based on the analyses using the input-output model of Miller and Blair, the major factor of growing the real estate industry is consumption (80.7%), while investment (15.0%), exports (8.9%) also contributed to some degree during 1995~2009. Technology coefficients (-4.6%) however contributed to the decrease in output. Consumption was affected greatly by that in the residential service sector which was almost distributed to private consumption, among lower sections of the real estate industry. The real estate industry’s role as a policy tool for business cycle adjustment has diminished since 2000 as the share of its output in the entire industry has declined gradually owing to sluggish consumption since 2000. In addition, as the growth of the real estate industry was found to be determined by consumption, the real estate output including rent, intermediation commission, acquisition tax and legal advice fee is expected to decline by sluggishness of consumption, construction of residential houses and buildings due to population aging or decreases in population. Under this trend, we need to enhance the status of the real estate industry in the national economy resulting in increase in employment and added values of the real estate industry by creating the sustainable transaction base through establishment of a fair market order and rationalization of regulations. Through the quality evolution by nurturing high quality human resources, expanding investment in R&D and setting up an advanced financial system in the real estate market, the industry needs growth as a sustainable industry, not as investment techniques’ goods.

        고려홍삼으로부터 분리한 compound K 함유분획에 의한 대식세포의 toll-like receptor-의존성 신호전달로 활성조절 분석

        본 연구에서는 고려홍삼으로부터 새로 분리한 CK 함유분획을 이용하여 마우스 대식세포에 대한 선천면역반응 조절에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 농도의 CK 함유분획에서는 세포독성 효과가 관찰되지 않았으며 CK함유 분획의 전처리에 의하여 그람음성세균의 LPS, 또는 CpG-ODN에 의해 유도되는 NF-${\kappa}B$와 MAPK 활성 및 전염증성 사이토카인, NO의 분비가 TLR4 및 TLR9 특이적으로 억제되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 CK 함유분획이 TLR4을 매개로하는 염증반응뿐만 아니라 TLR9을 통한 염증반응에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석된다. 따라서 앞으로 CK 함유 분획에 포함된 개별 사포닌 등 시료 성분에 대한 면밀한 분석, 그리고 이들 개별 물질이 각각의 신호전달 체계에 미치는 영향과 그 기작에 대한 연구가 더욱 필요할 것으로 사료되며 염증억제제로서의 개발 가능성을 탐구하기 위한 생체 내에서의 효능 및 작용기전 분석이 요구된다. Compound K (CK), a protopanaxadiol ginsenoside metabolite, was previously shown to have immunomodulatory effects. In this study, we isolated the CK rich fractions (CKRF) from Korean Red Ginseng and investigated the regulation of CKRF-mediated inflammatory signaling during Toll-like receptor (TLR)-mediated cellular activation. Among various TLR ligands, CKRF considerably abrogated TLR4- or TLR9-induced inflammatory signaling. Both LPS and CpG-containing oligodeoxynucleotides (CpG-ODN) stimulation rapidly activates mitogen-activated protein kinases [MAPKs; extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1/2 and p38], NF-${\kappa}B$, and expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$, and interleukin-6 in murine bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) in a time- and dose-dependent manner. Of interest, pre-treatment of CKRF in either LPS/TLR4- or CpG-ODN/TLR9-stimulated macrophages substantially attenuated the LPS-induced inflammatory cytokine production and mRNA expressions, as well as MAPK and NF-${\kappa}B$ activation. To our knowledge, this is the first description of the inhibitory roles for CKRF in TLR4- or TLR9-associated signaling in BMDMs. Collectively, these results demonstrate that CKRF specifically modulates distinct TLR4 and TLR9-mediated inflammatory responses, and further studies are urgently needed for their in vivo roles for potential therapeutic uses, such as in systemic inflammatory syndromes.

        무증상 송과체 낭종의 임상적 양상 및 자기공명영상 소견

        Objective : Asymptomatic cyst of the pineal gland is a common incidental finding in adults on computerized tomography or magnetic resonance image(MRI) or at postmortem examination. This study was conducted to identify MRI findings of the benign pineal cysts and to determine the proper management of asymptomatic pineal cysts. Methods : From January 1995 to March 1999, 13 cases of asymptomatic pineal cysts were diagnosed incidentally on MRI. The mean age of the patients at diagnosis was 43 years(ranged 8 to 69 years). Five patients were females and eight patients were males. We analyzed the clinical presentations and MRI findings. Results : Clincal features were not related to pineal cysts in all 13 cases included posttraumatic headache in seven cases, headache related to brain tumor in two cases, one of facial palsy, one of diabetic neuropathy, and two of other diseases. MRI demonstrated a well-demarcated mass lesion(mean 1.3cm in diameter) of low signal intensity on T1-weighted images and high signal intensity on T2-weighted images. Gadolinium-enhanced MRI, performed in 10 cases, demonstrated a rim enhancement. Hydrocephalus was not present in all cases. Follow-up MRI(ranged 12 to 36 months) obtained in 3 of the 13 patients showed stability of cyst size. After symptomatic treatment, presenting symptoms were resolved in all patients and symptom related to pineal cysts have not been developed during follow up period(mean 27 months). Conclusion : The long-term behavior of asymptomatic pineal cysts is still unknown. But we advocate conservative management of these benign pineal cysts that may be developmental variants of normal pineal gland.

        빈랑으로부터 Elastase 저해물질의 분리 및 특성조사

        Elastase (EC 3. 4. 4. 7)는 구조 단백질인 fibronectin, collagen 그리고 elastin을 포함한 다양한 단백질들을 분해한다. Elastase는 생체 염증 방어의 중요한 성분이며, α1-proteinase inhibitor (α<sub>1</sub>PI)와 같은 생체 내부에 있는 단백질 분해 효소 저해제들에 의해 조절된다. 그러나, 만성 염증의 결과, elastase와 α<sub>1</sub>PI 사이의 균형이 elastase 쪽으로 기울어지면 조직 파괴가 일어나게 된다. 본 연구자들은 이미 피부의 진피내에서 백혈구로부터 과다하게 분비되는 elastase를 저해하는 물질을 찾기 위하여, 150 여가지의 한방 식물 추출물에 대해 elastase 저해활성을 스크리닝 (screening) 하여, 빈랑 (Areca catecheu) 추출물이 가장 높은 저해활성을 보여줌을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 유효성분을 찾기 위하여 빈랑을 90% 에탄올로 추출한 다음, 다양한 용매를 사용하여 분획하였고, 각 분획에 대해 elastase 저해활성을 측정하였다. 이 중 저해 활성이 뛰어난 분획은 silica gel 컬럼 크로마토그래피, preparative TLC 그리고 역상 HPLC를 실시하였다. 역상 HPLC에서 elastase 저해 활성이 있는 peak은 성분을 확인할 수 있는 여러 가지 정색 반응과 UV, IR 스펙트럼을 통하여 phenol 성 물질임을 확인하였다. 빈랑으로부터 정제한 phenol 성 물질은 돼지 췌장 elastase (Porcine pancreatic elastase ; PPE)와 사람 백혈구 elastase (Human neutrophil elastase ; HNE)에 대한 IC50 값이 각각 26.9 μg/mℓ과 60.8 로서, 기존에 elastase의 저해제로 알려진 oleanolic acid (각각 76.5 μg/mℓ, 219.2 μg/mℓ)와 ursolic acid (각각 31.0 μg/mℓ, 118.6 μg/mℓ에 비하여 더 우수한 저해 활성을 나타내었으며, 모모표와 HNE에 대하여 기질과 경쟁적으로 반응함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 빈랑으로부터 정제한 phenol 성 물질이 염증 과 정 중에 발생하는 free radical을 소거할 수 있는지를 조사한 결과, free radical을 50% 소거시키는 농도값이 6 μg/mℓ 로 표준물질인 비타민 C (19 μg/mℓ)나 butylated hydroxyl toluene (18.5 μg/mℓ)보다 우수한 효과를 나타내었다. 그리고 mast cell내에서 활성화되며 hyaluronic acid를 분해하는 hyaluronidase에 대한 저해를 조사한 결과, IC50 값이 210 μg/mℓ로서 효과적 인 저해 활성을 나타내었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 빈랑으로부터 분리한 phenol 성 물질은 피부 결합 조직을 구성하는 단백질들을 보호함으로써 피부 노화를 억제하는 효과를 나타낼 것으로 생각된다. We have previously screened 150 medicinal plants on the inhibition of elastase and found a significant inhibitory effects of the extracts of Areca catechu L. on the aging and inflammation against the skin tissues. To isolate and identify the compounds having biological activity, we was further purified by each of the solvent fractions, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC and reversed-phase HPLC. Peak in HPLC, which coincided with the inhibitory activity against elastase, was identified as phenolic substance using various colorimetric methods, UV, and IR. IC<sub>50</sub> values of phenolic substance purified from Areca catechu were 26.9 μg/mℓ for porcine pancreatic elastase (PPE) and 60.8 μg/mℓ for human neutrophil elastase (HNE). This phenolic substance showed more potent activity than those of reference compounds, oleanolic acid (76.5 μg/mℓ for PPE, 219.2 μg/mℓ for HNE) and ursolic acid (31.0 μg/mℓ for PPE, 118.6 μg/mℓ for HNE). According to the Lineweaver-Burk plots, the inhibition against both PPE and HNE by this phenolic substance was competitive with substrate. Phenolic substance from Areca catechu exhibited high free radical scavenging effect (SC<sub>50</sub> - 6 μg/mℓ) and inhibited effectively hyaluronidase activity (IC<sub>50</sub> : 210 μg/mℓ). These results suggest that the phenolic substance purified from Areca catechu showed anti-aging effect by protecting connective tissue proteins.

        광범위한 대퇴골부 골괴사증에 대한 혈관부착 비골 이식술의 효과

        The authors reviewed 25 hips of 19 patients treated with free vascularized fibular graft for extensive osteonecrosis of the femoral head (C lesion by Steinberg classification) with a mean follow up of 36 months (ranging from 24 months to 57 months). Sixteen men and three women ranged in age from 15 to 47 years (mean, 33.4 years). Associated etiologic factors included alcohol abuse (15 hips), steroid treatment (5 hips), idiopathic (4 hips), and trauma (1 hip). Clinical and radiological results were assessed according to etiologic factors and the classification of Steinberg. According to Steinberg classification, there were 11 in stage IIC, 2 in stage IIIC and 12 in stage IVC. Clinical results were evaluated using Harris hip score (HHS). Excellent or good results by HHS were obtained in 19 hips (76%). In precollapse stages (Steinberg classification IIC, IIIC), clinical successes were obtained in 12 of 13 hips (92.3%). Radiological results were assessed according to collapse of the femoral head and degenerative change of the hip joint. Radiological successes were obtained in 18 hips (72%) in over all [12 of 13 hips (92.3%) in precollapse stages and 7 of 12 hips (58.3%) in stage IVC]. In precollapse stages, radiological success was higher than that in postcollapse stage (Steinberg classification IVC) (p<0.05). Three of 12 hips (25%) in postcollapse stage were converted to total hip replacement. The etiologic factors didnt affect the clinical and radiological results. In conclusion, free vascularized fibular graft chould be an effective method to get excellent or good results, to prevent further collapse in precollapse stage and to prolong the time until the conversion total hip arthro- plasty for postcollapse stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head with extensive involvement.

        피부 악성 흑색종의 임상 및 병리조직학적 소견

        Background: Malignant melanoma is the leading cause of death among skin cancers in western countries. The incidence of melanoma has been steadily increasing over the last 20 years, and age and sex distribution, anatomic location, clinicopathologic subtypes, and prognostic factors of malignant melanoma are also well known. However, various clinicopathologic aspects such as incidence, clinicopathologic subtypes and tumor behaviors are quite different in Asian and black skin. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinicopathologic behavior and statistics of malignant melanoma patients of Kyungpook National University Hospital, and to evaluate prognostic predictors. Methods: Of the 97 out of 103 patients diagnosed with malignant melanoma at the Department of Dermatology of Kyungpook National University Hospital over a 14 year period (l992~2006), we analyzed mean age of onset, gender, tumor location, duration, tumor number, color, tumor thickness, Clark`s level, pathologic ulceration, tumor-infiltration lymphocytes, clinicopathologic subtype, and clinical AJCC stage. Univariate analysis and multivariate analyses for survival, according to clinical and histologic tumor settings, were performed by means of the Cox proportional hazard model. Survival curves were plotted by the Kaplan-Meier method. Results: Ninety-seven melanomas were identified and analyzed by both clinical behavior and pathology. Of these, 44 were male and 53 were female patients and the mean age was 59.7 years. Most of the tumors were located on the hands and feet. Thin melanoma was the most common tumor and histologic ulcerations were observed in 37 out of 81 patients who were available for evaluation. For tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL), 22 out of 76 patients were confirmed with TIL in the pathologic review. Acral lentiginous melanoma was the most common type, followed by nodular melanoma, superficial spreading melanoma, and lentigo maligna melanoma. Univariate analysis for overall survival of melanoma revealed that thickness of tumor, the presence of ulceration, the presence of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, clinicopathological subtype, and clinical stage have a tendency for a poorer prognosis. Multivariate analysis demonstrated that advanced stages (III and IV) and tumor thickness were the independent risk factors for poor prognosis. Conclusion: Few similar large studies have been conducted to assess the prognostic factors of melanoma in Korea. Therefore, further prospective studies are needed to assess the biological behavior of malignant melanoma, of which the incidence has been steadily increasing in Korea.         This article is an affempt to find the liberalization method of the money market in Korea. Now, Korea is confronted with the difficulty of foreign pressure to open the market through Uruguay Round. So this article focuses on the method of overcoming it. The main conclusion of this paper is two-fold. First, monetary government must introduce the principle of interest liberalization into the money market. It is the most important condition to strengthen the constitution of the market. Second, the business realm of money and banking system should be adjusted by the economic principle. If then, it will make much profits through a high degree of economic efficiency.
