        아연-공기 전지용 음극재의 자가방전 억제 효과

        For zinc-air batteries, there are several limitations associated with zinc anodes. The self-discharge behavior of zinc-air batteries is a critical issue that is induced by corrosion reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) of zinc anodes. Aluminum and indium are effective additives for controlling the hydrogen evolution reaction as well as the corrosion reaction. To enhance the electrochemical performances of zinc-air batteries, mechanically alloyed Zn-Al and Zn-In materials with different compositions are successfully fabricated at 500rpm and 5h milling time. Investigated materials are characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). Alloys are investigated for the application as novel anodes in zinc-air batteries. Especially, the material with 3 wt% of indium (ZI3) delivers 445.37 mAh/g and 408.52 mAh/g of specific discharge capacity with 1 h and 6 h storage, respectively. Also, it shows 91.72 % capacity retention and has the lowest value of corrosion current density among attempted materials.

        In vitro Micro-Mineralized Tissue Formation by the Combinatory Condition of Adipose-Derived Stem Cells, Macroporous PLGA Microspheres and a Bioreactor

        For the final purpose of accelerating the restoration of defected bone tissue, researches for developing invitro three dimensional (3D) mineralized tissue using various stem cells, scaffolds and culture systems have beenextensively done. In this research, an integrated bioprocess to generate stem cell-based 3D mineralized construct wasdeveloped using adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC), highly porous biodegradable poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide)(PLGA) microspheres and a high-aspect ratio vessel (HARV) bioreactor system. First, ADSCs adhered uniformly onpoly-L-ornithine-coated macroporous PLGA microspheres, and the ADSC/microsphere composites were culturedin the presence of osteogenic supplements in a HARV bioreactor. Alkaline phosphatase (ALPase) activity assay,immunocytochemical staining and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) analysis showed temporalincrease of ALPase activity, molecular expressions of type I collagen, osteocalcin and runx2 and upregulationof runx2, Sp7, type I collagen and bone sialoprotein mRNA during 3D osteogenic culture of ADSC/microspherecomposites. Finally, 3D dynamic osteogenic culture generated highly mineralized micro tissues as validated byalizarin red-S staining and SEM-EDS. The results demonstrated that cell-based 3D micro-mineralized tissue couldbe generated by integrated bioprocess, and potentially utilized for bone tissue regeneration. The integrated bioprocessin this study may provide an efficient and scalable culture system for application in bone tissue engineering.

      • 프로모션 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인: 프랜차이즈 외식 산업의 SNS 버즈 분석을 중심으로

        프랜차이즈 경쟁의 심화에 따라 기업은 프로모션에 상당한 재원을 투자하고 있으며, 이에 프로모션의 효과 측정의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 프랜차이즈 외식 산업에서 이러한 프로모션의 효과를 조사하기 위해 대표적 소셜 네트워크 서비스인 트위터 데이터를 경험적으로 분석하였다. 먼저 프로모션의 간격과 기간, 그리고 계절이 프로모션의 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 통계적으로 입증했고, 나아가 각 요인별로 프로모션의 효과에 영향을 미치는 배경을 파악하여 외식 산업 내 기업의 업종에 따른 프로모션 전략을 제안하였다. Companies has been investing enormous resources in promotion as the market keeps changing rapidly. Therefore, there are growing needs to measure the impact of a promotion on revenue growth. To investigate the effect of promotion in franchise food service industry, this study empirically analyzed text data from Twitter, one of the dominant social network services. Our findings show that a gap between promotions, promotion duration, and season have a significant influence on a volume of twitter buzz, which represents a promotion effect in our study. Next, we tried to analyze the reason why those factors were related to the promotion effect. Finally, we suggested promotion strategies related to each influential factor depending on types of business in food service industry.

        재배지역별 절임배추의 영양성분 및 저장기간에 따른 품질 분석

        This study analyzed the changes in the nutritional components, properties, physicochemical properties, general bacteria,and lactic acid bacteria of pickled cabbage depending on the cultivation area. An analysis of the nutritional composition onthe first day of storage showed no significant difference in the calories, carbohydrates, protein, fat, and dietary fiber contentsregardless of the cultivation region, but regional differences were observed in the vitamin C content in the order of Andong> Pyeongchang > Haenam. The total free amino acid content appeared in the order Andong > Pyeongchang > Haenam,and the GABA (-amino-n-butyric acid) content appeared in the order Haenam > Andong > Pyeongchang. In addition,pickled cabbage was observed on the 1st, 5th, and 10th days of storage at 4oC. No significant change in appearance wasobserved on the 1st and 5th days, but changes were observed on the 10th day. Regardless of the cultivation area, the salinity(p<0.05) and pH (p<0.05) decreased significantly as the storage period increased, while the sugar content (p<0.05) andacidity (p<0.05) increased significantly. The general bacteria (p<0.05) and lactic acid bacteria (p<0.05) counts increasedsignificantly as the storage period increased, irrespective of the cultivation region.

      • 기관지원성 낭종 - 한 기관에서의 10년간의 경험

        Background : Bronchogenic cyst is rare malformation of primitive foregut. It is usually located in lung and mediastinum, but rarely presented in unusual locations, such as diaphragm, abdomen, retroperitoneum, esophagus, neck, soft tissue and skin. Their histologic finding shows cystic mass lined by ciliated columnar epithelium and supporting fibrous tissue containing glands, hyaline cartilage, smooth muscle, nerve bundle or alveolar units. Methods : We have reviewed medical records and corresponding slides of last ten years about each histologic component; cartilage, submucosal gland, smooth muscle, nerve bundle, alveolar units and epithelial metaplasia, particularly. Results : Ten cases of bronchogenic cyst is collected for ten years. The distribution of age is wide from 2 to 80 years old, and mean age is 42.4 years old, median age is 43 years old. The ratio of male relation to female is 2:8. They are presented in lung (2 cases) and mediastinum (5 cases), in addition anteior neck (1 case), hypopharynx (1 case) and retroperitoneum (1 case). All bronchogenic cyst are lined by pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium. There are focal squamous immature metaplasia (30%), hyaline cartilage (30%), submucosal glands (70%), smooth muscle (70%), nerve bundle (40%) and alveolar units (10%). Conclusion : Bronchogenic cyst is rare malformation. Pathologic diagnosis is made with some distinctive component seen in normal bronchus. But some case should be differentiated from cystic mass with pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium. So we search helpful findings for differential diagnosis.

        예술작품을 통해 나타난 패션의 하이퍼리얼리티 연구

        The rapid growth and influence of digital technologies have had a profound effect on modern society. Companies and businesses can connect through SNS(social network service accounts). The importance of mass media empowers the creation of virtual images that are more realistic than time and space. Unlike traditional reproduction or imitation, the virtual images created in this way are reproduced in a form that lacks the original inspiration’s essence. Jean Baudrillard described this phenomenon as the theory of simulation. Baudrillard argued that imitated simulated images replace reality. He stated that reality is lost under excessive images in modern society. In response, based on an understanding of the theory of hyper-reality that emerged through the late stages of the order of simulacre, this study aimed to analyze modern fashion’s method of reproducing hyper-real images and investigate the method’s characteristics. This study examined the characteristics of hyper-reality described by Baudrillard and analyzed the method of artistic expression of hyper-reality. Based on this method of expression, reproducibility, following the stages of image simulation, was derived. A specific case applied to fashion was analyzed, and based on the image reproduction method, specific characteristics of hyper-reality characteristics in fashion were obtained. Sixty-four collections were selected, out of which 155 images and 43 brands demonstrated the principles of image transformation.

        Expression of Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and Its Clinicopathologic Significance

        Background: Incretin-based therapies are rapidly becoming one of the main glycemic control strategies in diabetes. Considering the large numbers of papillary thyroid carcinomas (PTCs) and possible effects of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) on cell proliferation, the expression of GLP-1 receptor (GLP-1R) in PTC is likely to have clinical significance. We performed this study to evaluate the expression of GLP-1R in PTC and the clinical meaning of GLP-1R expression in PTC. Methods: Fifty-six cases of PTC, four cases of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC), seven cases of nodular hyperplasia and 56 normal thyroid tissue samples were selected for immunostaining for GLP-1R. Clinical parameters were obtained by retrospective review of medical records. Results: Immunohistochemical staining for GLP-1R showed immunoreactivity in 18 of 56 cases of PTC (32.1%). All four cases of MTC exhibited cytoplasmic GLP-1R expression. Nodular hyperplasia exhibited immunoreactivity in two of seven cases (28.6%). All normal thyroid follicular cells showed negative immunoreactivity. In univariable and multivariable analyses, tumor multifocality was negatively correlated with GLP-1R expression. Extrathyroidal extension showed positive association with GLP-1R expression that was almost significant. Sex, age, tumor size, and lymph node metastasis were not significantly associated with GLP-1R expression. Conclusion: Some parts of PTC tissues express GLP-1R, and GLP-1R expression in PTC was negatively correlated with tumor multifocality. The long-term influence of pharmacologically increased GLP-1 on thyroid follicular cells and development and progression of tumors originating from thyroid follicular cells should be investigated.
