        청열윤부탕(淸熱潤膚湯)이 DNFB로 유발된 알레르기 피부염에 미치는 효과

        Objective : To examine the efficacy of CY, the improvement of atopy dermatitis(AD)-like lesions on the rostral back of the NC/Nga mice, which took CY orally and were treated with a chemical substance called DNFB, the inhibition of ear swelling, and the inhibition of inflammatory response of the ear tissue of the mice were observed and compared, and the inhibition of the serum IgE count and the IL-4 and IFN-${\gamma}$ count produced by CD4+ T cells of the lymph node were observed and compared. Materials and Methods : For measurement of ear thicknesses, 0.15% DNFB $25{\mu}l$ mixed with acetone/olive oil(3:1) was applied to the right ear and dorsal skin of the NC/Nga mice 5 times at an interval of 7 days. Ear thickness was measured every day over a five-week period after the first application of DNFB. The total serum IgE count was measured with ELISA by taking blood samples 24 hours after the fifth application of DNFB. To measure the IL-4 and IFN-${\gamma}$ count, the lymph node was cut off, and the CD4+ T cells were purified and stimulated to activate the T cells, and then the IL-4 and IFN-${\gamma}$ count was measured with ELISA. Results : Continuous oral administration of CY improved the AD-like skin lesions on the rostral back and inhibited the ear swelling in NC/Nga mice treated with DNFB and inhibited the inflammatory response in the NC/Nga mice treated with DNFB NC/Nga mice. Continuous oral administration of CY did not significantly inhibit the serum IgE count and failed to significantly reduce the IL-4 count generated after TCR stimulation in the CD4+ T cells of the NC/Nga mice treated with DNFB. Continuous oral administration of CY significantly reduced the IFN-${\gamma}$ count generated after TCR stimulation in the CD4+ T cells of the NC/Nga mice treated with DNFB.

        국내 아메리칸 핏불테리어에서 발생한 열사병 증례 보고

        Heat stroke in a dog is a life-threatening syndrome characterized by a high body temperature over 41°C, by the central nervous system dysfunction, and by multiple organ dysfunction. A 11-month-old male American Pit Bull Terrier was presented to clarify the cause of death to diagnostic laboratory. This dog showed clinical signs such as high body temperature (42°C), severe tachypnea, hematochezia, epistaxis and hemoptysis after transportation at hot summer time. At necropsy, there were hemorrhages in skin, serosa of stomach and small intestine, and also dark red fluid in lumen of intestine. Histopathologic examination revealed extensive hemorrhages in stomach, muscle, skin, and tongue. In microbiology, pathologic bacteria such as Pasteurella, Boedetella, Salmonella, Clostridium, and circulating virus in Korea such as CDV, CIV, CAV, CHV, CCV, CPIV were negative except CPV. There were many gross and microscopic lesions suggesting hest stroke while pathologic agents and related lesions were not detected. Therefore we diagnosed this case as heatstroke.

        허실변증(虛實辨證)과 가미청상보하탕(加味淸上補下湯)의 임상효과

        Objectives: The aim was to compare and analyse the clinical effects between excess syndrome and deficiency syndrome in asthmatics through treatment with herbal dicoction, Gamichuongsangboha-tang. Materials and Methods: The subjects consisted of 30 patients with asthma and were treated with Gamichuongsangbohatang for four weeks. All patients were divided into three groups as Excess Syndrome Group(ESG), Deficiency Syndrome Group(DSG) and Coexistence Syndrome Group(CSG). PHs were checked before and 4 weeks after treatments, and QLQAKAs were checked three times; before treatments, 2 and 4 weeks after treatments. The results of QLQAKA and PH were compared and analysed between ESG, DSG and CSG. Results: Treatment of Gamichuongsangboha-tang resulted in a significant increase of QLQAKA during the first two weeks in DSG and during the last two weeks in ESG. FEV1% and PEFR% significantly increased in both DSG and ESG. There were no significanctly changes of QLQAKA and PH in CSG. Conclusions: Observations suggest that asthma in DSG was more immediately and effectively managed through treatment with Gamichuongsangboha-tang than in ESG and CSG in ease of breading and pulmonary function.

        DNA 교차 오염 방지 기능을 가진 돼지 인플루엔자바이러스 감별진단용 one-step multiplex RT-PCR 진단법

        In this study, we developed a cost and time saving one-step multiplex RT-PCR for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of swine influenza viruses (SIV) and 2009 pandemic influenza H1N1 virus (pH1N1). The one-step multiplex RT-PCR using four sets of primer was confirmed to be capable of detection of all SIV subtypes and differential diagnosis of major SIV subtype H1, H3 and pH1N1 on individual or mixed viral culture samples. The sensitivity of the multiplex RT-PCR was determined to be at least 2-6 HA/25 μL of the presented SIVs, providing sufficient efficacy for a routine SIV monitoring in diagnostic laboratories. In addition, compared with the conventional RT-PCR methods that cannot avoid the carryover DNA contamination, the developed RT-PCR applied with the uracil DNA glycosylase (UNG) system was proven to prevent a false positive reaction by carryover contamination of the pre-amplified DNA. In conclusion, the one-step RT-PCR with UNG system could be applicable to detect and differentiate of SIV from the viral cultures without worry of carryover DNA contamination in clinical laboratories.

        혈청학적 분석을 통한 돼지 생식기호흡기증후군의 농장단위 감염유형

        Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is the most economically important viral infectious disease in pig populations worldwide. This study was conducted to better understand the epidemic and dynamics of PRRS virus (PRRSV) on each farm and to evaluate the risk of PRRSV infection in Korea. Interviews with pig farmers were carried out to obtain PRRS vaccination programmes in 60 pig farms throughout Korea. Blood samples were also collected from the 59 pig farms to investigate outbreak patterns of each farm. Vaccination against PRRS was performed in 16.7% farms for breeding pigs and 8.3% of farms for nursery pigs. According to the seroepidemiological analysis, 56 (94.9%) out of 59 farms were considered to be affected by PRRSV infection. The results revealed that 68.9% of sows tested were seroconverted and interestingly, gilt herds had the highest seropositive rate (73%), suggesting that gilts may play a key role in PRRSV transmission in sow herds. Among the PRRS-affected piglet herds, 33 (55.9%), 14 (23.7%) and 6 (10.2%) farms were initially infected with PRRSV during the weaning, suckling and nursery period, respectively. It seems likely, therefore, that PRRSV infection predominantly occurs around the weaning period in piglet herds. Based on antibody seroprevalence levels in both sow and piglet groups, we were able to classify patterns of PRRSV infection per farm unit into 4 categories; category 1 (stable sow groups and non-infected piglet groups), category 2 (unstable sow groups and non-infected piglet groups), category 3 (stable sow groups and infected piglet groups), and category 4 (unstable sow groups and infected piglet groups). Our data suggested that 43 (72.9%) farms were analysed to belong to category 4, which is considered to be at high-risk for PRRS outbreak. Taken together, our information from this study will provide insight into the establishment of an effective control strategy for PRRS on the field.

        소청룡탕치료 기관지천식환자의 혈액내 호산구수와 혈청IgE 및 T림프구아형의 변화

        Background : Nowadays asthma is considered to be an inflamatory disease characterized by airborne hyper-responsiveness and pulmonary eosinophilia. Objective : We aimed to identify the effects of Sochongryongtang on blood eosinophil, serum IgE and T lympocyte subpopulation in asthmatic patients. Material and Methods : The subjects consisted of fifteen patients with asthma who had been treated with Sochongryongtang for two weeks from February 2001 through June 2001. Sochongryongtang is herbal decoction which has been used for the traditional therapeutic agent of asthma. Results : The blood eosinophil and serum IgE in a normal controlled group. However, the T lympocyte subpopulation in asthmatic patients was not significantly different from the T lympocyte subpopulation in a normal group. The patients were treated with Sochongryongtang for two weeks. No significant difference in the blood eosinophil, serum IgE and T Iympocyte in the sub population. After treatment with Sochongryongtang for two weeks, FEV 1 increased significantly over 0.5 points out of total scores. Conclusion : This study shows that Sochongryongtang has effects on improvement of pulmonary function and quality of life in asthmatic patients. However, the patients who were treated with Sochongryongtang for two weeks showed no significant difference in the blood eosinophil, serum IgE and T lympocyte subpopulation. Further long-term studies must be made on a large number of asthmatic patients.

        자치단체 재무회계 활용방안에 대한 연구

        본 연구는 지방자치단체 복식부기 회계시스템에 의해 산출된 성과지표들을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 방안의 마련을 목적으로 한다. 1980년대 이후, 미국과 미국을 중심으로 한 선진국에서는 공공부문의 성과 평가에 민간부문의 기법, 특히 경영학에서 발전된 성과측정 방법을 사용하기 시작하였다. 그 중, 정부재정운영의 효율성과 효과성을 측정하고 향상시키기 위해 정부회계제도를 개선하였는데, 이 때 민간부문에서 사용하였던 발생주의 회계시스템을 도입하였다. 이에, 우리나라도 기존 현금주의 회계시스템의 문제점을 해결하고 행정의 효율성과 효과성을 향상시키기 위해, 1998년부터 정부재정운영에 발생주의 회계시스템을 도입하여 효율성과 효과성을 향상시키고자 하고 있다. 하지만, 정작 이러한 회계시스템에 의해 산출된 성과 지표들을 어떻게 효과적으로 활용하여 성과를 측정할 것인지, 이러한 성과 지표들을 정부와 관련된 이해관계자들에게 어떻게 효율적으로 전달하여 반영하게 할 것인지에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구는 이러한 복식부기 회계시스템에 의해 산출된 성과 지표들을 통해 공공부문의 성과를 효과적으로 평가하고자 하였다 또한, 이러한 성과들을 이해관계자들에게 효율적으로 전달하는 형식과 지표들을 마련하여 그들의 의사결정에 도움이 되고자 함을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 지방자치단체 직접적 이해관계자를 지방 의회, 지방자치단체장, 지역 주민으로 보고, 지방 의회를 중심으로 각각의 관점에서 필요한 사항을 예측하여 그에 맞는 지표들을 산출, 자료들을 효율적으로 활용하는 방안들을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻을 수 있는 기대 효과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째로, 본 연구를 통하여 제안된 재정회계지표들의 활용 방안은 정부 활동의 경제적 비용, 편익과 재정상태 및 운영결과 등에 대한 유용하고 가치 있는 정보를 객관적으로 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 두 번째로, 본 논문에서 연구한 복식부기 재무회계시스템에 관한 다양한 관점의 자료, 그리고 재정지표 활용방안은 경제적 자원으로서의 자산, 부채 등에 대해 앞으로도 지속적이고 신뢰성 있게 관리할 수 있는 정보와 방안을 제시할 것으로 기대된다. 세 번째로, 본 연구에서 제시한 각종 성과지표들을 활용, 자료를 분석하고 해석하여 지역 주민에게 제공함으로써, 지방자치단체의 재정운영에 대한 지역주민의 참여를 증대시킬 것으로 기대된다. 이에, 지역 주민을 통한 외부 통제를 강화하여 예산의 낭비를 방지할 수 있게 될 것으로 기대된다. Above all the rest, government's accounting practices were improved to develop and measure efficiency and effectiveness by which time the accrual basis accounting system used by public sector. In other to solve the problems of existing cash basis accounting system and improve the administrative efficiency and effectiveness, since 1998, Korea is also trying to improve the efficiency and effectiveness as adopting accrual basis accounting system. However, The researches are insufficient how efficient are the indexes calculated by such accounting system and how efficient these performance indexes are communicated and inflected to the interested parties. So, this research is for the purpose of evaluating the performance of the public sector Through the performance indexes calculated by rural basis accounting system and helping interested parties's decision as making form and indexes that are able to convey the such performance to the interested parties. In this paper we regard local assembly, governor of a state, inhabitants as the direct interested parties and calculate things are necessary to the each view with a local assembly as the center and offer the way to appropriately predict and take care of the data efficiently. The expected effect can be got through this research as follows. First, improve program of the financial accounting indexes suggested through this study is expected to offer objectively useful and valuable information about government activities's cost, benefit and management issues. Second, it is expected for the variety range of data about financial accounting system and improve program to offer information and way to manage asset and dept as the financial sources constantly and reliable. Third, by providing the performance indexes suggested by this report after using and analysis this, it's expected that the local residents' participation in financial operation of the a local autonomous entity would be increased. So, it also expected to prevent the squandering of the budget by strengthening the external control through the local residents.
