The simultaneous or consecutive product analysis is needed for quality control because the various items are produced in pesticide manufacturer. This study was conducted to establish a multi-pesticide analysis making possible to analyze several active ingredients with one injection of mixed active ingredients under same instrument-condition in the cause of quality control with accuracy and speed. The test was conducted with 3 pesticides, iprobenfos 17%GR, isoprothiolane 12%GR, tebufenozide 20%SC and performed by GLC and HPLC. With the GLC method, 2 active ingredients of iprobenfos and isoprothiolane were analyzed but tebufenozide was not detective simultaneously. With the HPLC method, all of the active ingredients in those three pesticides were simultaneously analyzed in this study.

일반적인 환경모니터링시스템은 다양한 환경 상태 데이터를 수집하여 사용자들에게 다양한 정보를 제공한다. 측정된 정보를 원격 CDMA의 단말기를 이용하여 사용자가 쉽게 관찰할 수 있도록 구성되어 있으나 이동성의 제한 및 SMS 요금이 발생하는 단점을 지닌다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰을 기반으로 모바일 애플리케이션의 장점을 활용할 수 있는 안드로이드 기반의 환경정보 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 푸시기반 알림 기능을 제공함으로써 사용자는 이동성을 확보함과 동시에 기존의 SMS 방식에서 발생한 비용의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Objective: Multipotent bone marrow stromal cells have the ability to differentiate toward a variety of connective tissue lineages including cartilage. The future use of adult mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) for human therapies depends on the establishment of preclinical studies. Therefore, in this preclinical study we demonstrated the expression of MSC surface markers CD29, CD105, and CD44 on human bone marrow derived stromal cells during chondrogenic differentiation. Methods: Adult human bone marrow was collected from the iliac crest of 7 donors following informed consent. Mononuclear cells were isolated, incubated in monolayers, and embedded in alginate beads for three-dimensional cultures. Cellualr viability was assessed by MTT assay. Flow cytometry of alginate bead cultures was performed on days 0, 7, 14, 21, and 28 using monoclonal antibody against surface molecules, CD105, CD29, CD44, CD34 and CD45. Total contents of collagen and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) of the alginate beads was measured. SPSS 11.0 was used for data analysis. Results: After 7 days of culture, 89% of the cells expressed the human integrin beta 1 antibody, CD29. The CD29-positive cells remained elevated at 83% on days 28. However, while only 18% expressed the type II TGF-beta receptor endoglin, CD105 on day 7, the CD105-positive cells increased abruptly 65% on day 14 remaining elevated up to day 28. The expression of CD44 was maximal in the first passage cell (63%). High concentration of TGF-beta 3 (10 ng/mL) was more favorable for sustaining cell viability than a low concentration (0.5 ng/mL)(n=4, p=0.002, day 21). The total contents of collagen and GAG in the MSC-alginate beads increased during the three-dimensional culture (n=4, p=0.02, p=0.006) suggesting its differentiation into a chondrogenic lineage. Conclusion: CD29 was expressed earlier than CD105 during chondrogenic differentiation of human bone marrow MSC. CD44 expression was highest in the first passage cells and gradually decreased afterwards.

A nation-wide monitoring survey was performed to look into pesticide use pattern and amount on farmers' field after the national registration of pesticides from 2003 to 2004. Tow hundred ninety two leading farmers involved in the survey were chosen from main cultivating regions of targeted crops in consideration with area. Most farmers involved in the survey follow the safe use guideline of pesticides, while their information to select and making-decision for purc㏊sing pesticides were done according to the recommendation of mainly pesticide market dealers or agricultural cooperative dealers. Used amount of pesticide per unit cropping area was surveyed as 5.51 on paddy, 3.91 on field cabbage, 2.93 on greenhouse cabbage, 0.76 on lettuce, 0.55 on spinach, 1.34 on perilla leaf, 4.89 on leek and 0.42 kg ㏊?¹ on young radish. As compound with those surveyed from 1999 to 2000, the pesticide amounts used for rice, lettuce and perilla leaf were reduced while t㏊t for cabbage was increased.

Methods applied to numerical analyses in field of thermo-fluid dynamics were mainly divided into finite difference, finite clement and spectral schemes. In this paper. the spectral finite difference method that is one of spectral schemes was used. This scheme was based on a Fourier series as one of spectral functions. The key point of this scheme is that it introduces no approximation in leading the resulting system of equations in principle, but just introduces discretization to tile resulting system of equations by a finite difference approximation only for getting numerical solutions. Analytic object in this paper is chosen to be an elliptic cylinder performing a rotary oscillation. It is assumed to be incompressible. laminar, two-dimensional and Newtonian fluid. In coordinate system. a non-inertial coordinate system increasing the free degree of analytic object is adopted. It is found that the numerical calculation of drag coefficient in circular cylinder is in a good agreement with experimental data.<br/>

As a result of analyzing the domestic and foreign HACCP systems, advanced countries mandated HACCP system on all foods to strengthen food safety management and USA, EU and China do not apply small-scale HACCP system. Looking at the cases of food safety accidents in Korea and the non-compliance rate of HACCP certification evaluation by size, the accident rate of companies without HACCP certification was 31.2% higher than that of companies with HACCP certification. The nonconformity rate of food inspection standards was analyzed to be 89.0% higher than that of HACCP certification companies. Based on the international trend of food safety management and the frequency of food safety accidents, it is proposed to gradually expand the mandatory application of HACCP system in Korea to all foods, and to change the small-scale HACCP standard from less than 500 million Korean won or 21 employees to less than 500 million Korean won.

Objective: Articular cartilage has a highly limited capacity to repair because of lack of blood supply. There have been no effective modality to regenerate the articular cartilage and prevent degenerative changes. It is necessary to proliferate the cells in vitro, however the cells lose their phenotype during in vitro monolayer culture. Although it is not enough to increase the number of the cells in the three dimensional culture, it is a effective way to maintain their original phenotype expression. Alginate has been used as a good source of scaffold in chondrocyte three dimensional culture. The objective of this study was to find the most favorable scaffold for chondrocyte viability among various alginate extracted from natural source in chondrocyte three dimensional culture. Methods: The alginate extracted from brown seaweed, Undaria pinnatifida and sea tangle, Laminaria japonica inhabitating near Korean sea and commercially available alginate were used. Chondrocytes isolated from adult pig were used. Three kinds of chondrocyte-alginate bead were made and incubated for forty-four days. Cellular viability and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) content were measured and compared. SPSS Version 10.0 was used for data analysis. Results: Viability of chondrocyte and GAG content were increased as a function of time. Alginate from brown seaweed, U. pinnatifida appeared more favorable to maintain chondrocyte viability than others. The total GAG content was similar among three kinds of alginate Conclusion: Alginate extracted from natural see weed, especially brown seaweed, may be a good source to maintain chondrocyte viability in three dimensional culture.
상악 전치부 단일 임플란트의 생존율에 대한 후향적 연구

This study was performed to investigate the survival rate of single implant used in maxillary anterior region during follow up periods. 231 patients whose single missing tooth in maxillary region had been replaced with 237 implant at the periodontal dept. of Yonsei University Hospital between February 1993 and December 2004. The following results are compiled from 231 patients who received single implant surgery. 1. The major cause of single tooth loss in maxillary anterior region is trauma, followed by periodontal disease and congenital missing. 2. The total survival rate of single implant placed in maxillary anterior region is 94.5%. 3. The survival rate of single implant placed in type II and type IV was 100% and in type III was 92.7%. As for the bone quantity, the survival rate in type A(100%) was most, followed by type B(97.3%) and type C, D (93.5%). 4. The survival rate of implant placement combined with advanced surgery was 94.4%. The results showed that the placement of single implant is considered as a reliable treatment option for a single missing tooth in maxillary anterior region except in certain extreme conditions especially with poor bone quality and quantity.
