      • 유제놀에 의한 즉시형 알레르기 반응의 억제

        The current study evaluates the capacity of eugenol to regulate immediate allergic reaction by control of histamine release. Administrations of eugenol (1 M/kg. i.p.) at 60 min before and 5.10 min after the compound 48/80 treatment (8 mg/kg.i.p.) were shown the mortality rates as 0.44.4. and 77.8%. respectively. A 60 min before administered group revealed a singificant inhibition of serum his-tamine release compared with those of 5 and 10 min after the compound 48/80 injection. Eugenol (6-48mM) was also showed a dose-dependent activity on the compound 48/80-induced histamine release from the highly purified population of Alcian Blue-positive peritoneal mast cells. These results indicate that in vitro treatment with exogenous eugenol inhibited the active response of mast cell populations and modulated its characteristics.

      • 형광검출 역상 액체크로마토그래피에 의한 Histamine의 정량

        Histamine을 정확하고 신속하게 정량하기 위해 9.Fiuorenylmethyl chloroformate를 형광유도체화제로 하여 역상 HPLC법으로 정량하였다. 히스타민을 형광유도체화할 때 반응액의 pH, 반응시간, 형광유도체화제의 농도 등 최적 반응 조건을 검토하였다. 이 방법으로 히스타민을 분석한 결과 0.1~0.5ug/ml의 농도범위에서 상관계수가 0.922인 양호한 직선성을 나타내었으며 검출한계는 0.01??/ml였다. A rapid and simple method for the determination of histamine by reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection was established. 9-Fluorenylmethyl chloroformate(FMOC) was used as fluorescent derivative reagent. The optimum conditions for the derivatiation such as pH, reaction time and he concentration of FMOC were investigated. Linearity of calibration curve was obtained between 0.1ug/ml/and 0.5ug/ml(r=0.922) and the limit of detection was 0.01ug/ml.

      • 1kW 소형 풍력발전기의 진동 성능 모니터링

        A vibration monitoring is performed on a 1kW class stand alone wind turbine(W/T). When a W/T model is developed, general performance under various wind condition should be verified to introduce the product in the market. Especially, vibration characteristics within operating speed range are very important in the aspect of structural stability as well as generator's electrical efficiency. This paper examines the vibration performance of a home made 1kW W/T. Various data of the W/T model are acquired in real time using a remote vibration monitoring system installed in Daekwanryung test site. Vibration stability of the W/T structure is diagnosed based upon the data and the result is used to estimate the applicability of the W/T model.

      • 한국인에서 CC-SIT와 비교한 KVSS Test의 임상적 유용성 평가 : 예비연구 Pilot study

        Background and Objectives: Sniffin' Sticks test is the test of nasal chemosensory performance based on pen-like odor dispensing devices. KVSS(Korean Version of Sniffin' Sticks) Test was developed as the "Korean olfactory test" using the odorants which are familiar to Korean. Authors evaluated the clinical validity of KVSS Test compared with CC-SIT (Cross-Cultural Smell Identification Test) in Korean. Materials and Methods: The subjects of this study were 25 normosmic volunteers who were divided into five groups according to age. Each group was 5 normosmic volunteers. And they consisted of 12 men and 13 women. KVSS Test and CC-SIT were used for the evaluation of olfactory function. Results: Our study showed the negative correlation between age and olfactory function test (CC-SIT score, KVSS Test I score and KVSS Test II score). Normosmia rate of KVSS Test was more higher than that of CC-SIT. Also KVSS Test had more familiar items for Koreans compared with that of CC-SIT. CC-SIT score and KVSS Test score showed showed the positive corrclation. And each test revealed high reliability in test-retest evaluation. Conclusion: The KVSS Test can be used as an olfactory function test for Koreans.

      • 부비동내시경수술 후 후각기능의 변화

        Background and Objectives: Rhinosinusitis is the most common cause of olfactory impairment and endoscopic sinus surgery is considered as a surgical procedure of choice for treating chronic sinusitis. CC-SIT (Cross-Cultural Smell Identification Test) consists of 12 items well known in most non-English-speaking cultures. Authors evaluated the therapeutic effects of endoscopic sinus surgery on olfactory dysfuction using CC-SIT. Materials and Methods: The subjects of this study were seventeen sinusitis patient who had undergone ESS from November 2001 through April 2002. All patients were divided into two groups according to nasal polyp and CT findings. CC-SIT was used for the evaluation of olfactory function. Results: Forty seven percents of patients had improvement in olfactory function postoperatively. No correlation was found between changes in CC-SIT score and nasal polyp and preoperative CT findings. Conclusion: It is concluded that nasal polyp and CT findings have no effect on olfaction.

      • 커뮤니티 개념을 적용한 도시하천 수변공간 정비방안에 관한 연구

        급속한 도시화의 과정에서 기존의 도시하천정비는 공공의 논리로 이수, 치수목적에 큰 비중을 두었다. 그 결과 도시하천의 생태계 파괴는 물론, 획일적인 개발형태로 인하여 경관에 많은 문제점을 지니게 되었고, 특히 대도시 내에서의 하천은 그 경향이 심각하게 나타나게 됨에 따라 도시민에게 외면당하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점 해결방안으로 커뮤니티 개념을 적용한 접근 방법을 시도함으로써 새로운 문화와 상징을 창출하고 해당지역 주민에게 정비사업에의 참여를 통한 지역애와 지역공동체성을 함양시킬 수 있는 새로운 방안을 모색해보고자 한다. During the rapid urbanizing period, consolidating the urban waterfront system was likely to be regarded to leave the water or to regulate waterfront by the public logic. According to this research as a result, we have a lot of problems not only about the destruction of ecosystem but also about their appearance by the exact same development forms. As the problem is being more serious in the metropolitan areas, the residents don't care any more. So here, we are trying to solve this problem by approaching the concept of the community planning, so that we can creat the new cultural symbol and also we can make the fascinating space that people can feel their place more like home and give them comfortable through citizen participation.

      • 윈도우 기반 PLC구동 프로그램 개발

        As personal computers are being developed, most softwares are based on window-based operating systems recently. The programmable logic controllers (PLC's) which are usually operated based on the DOS system should be adapted to the window-based environment in order to have the multi-tasking and flexibility of PLC programs. In this paper, the PLC driving programs which are based on the window-based operating systems are developed for the hardwares in which only DOS-based driving programs are being used currently.

      • 금속 결합제를 사용한 Nd-Fe-B 영구자석에 관한 연구

        Recently there has been a great deal of interests Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet materials because of the broad availability, the low cost of constituents and impressive magnetic properties. Powder metallurgical method is mostly used for fabrication of Nd-Fe-B hard magnets. Nd-Fe-B plastic magnets are fabricated by mixing melt spun magnetic powders with resin. In this study metal powders as a binder are used. MQ powder and Nd-Fe-B alloy powder by mechanical grinding compacted, heat-treated and hot-pressed with additive Zn, Ag-Zn, Al-Cu binders and the magnetic properties on two kinds of permanent magnets were investigated with DC-fluxmeter, SEM and AES. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows; 1. Nd-Fe-B isotropic magnets with mechanical grinding and additive Zn, Ag-Zn, Al-Cu were fabricated, but obtained not above B_r 4.5kG because of no densitification. 2. Nd-Fe-B isotropic magnet which used MQ powder with additive 6wt% Zn and heat-treated at 650℃ for 1 hour is increased to _iH_c 2.7kOe, while Nd-Fe-B magnet with additive 6wt% Ag-Zn at 700℃ for 1 hour is increased _iH_c 5.5kOe. 3. Nd_16Fe_78B_6 isotropic permanent magnet which added Al-Cu 3wt% and hot-pressed at 700℃ is obtained B_r 6.7kG, _iH_c 18.4kOe.
