        저산소에 노출된 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus)의 호흡대사와 혈액의 화학적 변화

        This experiment investigated changes in metabolic rate (MO2), critical oxygen saturation (Scrit), and blood chemistry of olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus exposed to progressive hypoxia and returned to normoxic water at 20°C. The normoxic standard metabolic rate (SMR) and routine metabolic rate (RMR) were 69.5-83.9 and 70.2-156.4 mg O2 kg-1h-1, respectively based on fish weight. Scrit was 31.0% dissolved oxygen (DO) at 20°C. After returning the fish to 70% DO following exposure to hypoxia (20% DO), MO2 increased two-fold compared to the normoxic SMR and then decreased into the range of the RMR with time. Blood PO2 and plasma lactate decreased significantly after exposure to hypoxia (20% DO) and then increased as ambient oxygen saturation decreased. Cortisol levels increased as ambient oxygen saturation decreased, but the levels decreased rapidly in the range of the normoxic control when the fish were returned to ambient water with 70% DO. Plasma glucose levels increased when the fish were returned to normoxic water after exposure to a progressively more hypoxic condition.

        The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion. Reform procedure of Judo's Doechigi-Bon was 1st stage, Questionnaire survey 303 judokas, 2nd stage, Technical seminar by judo experts(12 judo professor) 4 times, 3rd stage, wording report for reform, 4rd stage, Discussion and judgement of Teaching and Judgement commission of Korean judo Association(KJA), 5th stage, Public hearing for reform in KJA, 6th stage, Report and decision of board of directors in KJA, 7th stage, public publication of Judo News(No.53) in KJA.       • Rifampicin에 의한 것으로 추정되는 위막성 대장염1예

        Pseudomembranous colitis, caused by altering the normal colonic flora and allowing the multiplication of Clostridium difficile, is an deleterious adverse effect of antibiotics. But it is rarely reported by rifampicin. Rifampicin is one of the first line drug in the treatment of tuberculosis and many patients are exposed to its potential adverse effects. We experienced a patient that had abdominal discomfort and hematochezia due to pseudomembranous colitis after receiving antituberculous medication, and which was probably caused by rifampicin. A 82 years old man was admitted with abdominal discomfort and hematochezia for one week. On the past history he had been diagnosed as endobronchial tuberculosis about 4 months ago. Colonoscopy revealed multiple discrete whitish mucosal lesion on rectosigmoid colon, and histologic findings were consistent with pseudomembranous colitis. The antituberculous agents were discontinued and vancomycin was administered. The patient's symptoms were resolved within several days. There was no recurrence after reinstitution of the antituberculous agents excluding rifampicin. We report here on a case of pseudomembranous colitis probably due to rifampicin.

        Algal bioassay 에 의한 조류생장 제한영양염류 결정

        Determination of Limiting Nutrient for Algal Growth by Algal Bioassay. Oh, Hee-Mock, Seog June Lee, Seong-Bin Kim, Mi- Kyung Park, Byung-Dae Yoon and Do-Han Kim (Environmental Microbiology Research Unit, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Taejon 305-333, Korea and Water Resources Research Institute, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Taejon 305-390, Korea) Water quaiity and algal growth potential (AGP) using Microcystis aeruginosa were investigated from April to September 1997 in Daechung Reservoir. Secchi disk transparency was 1.1 m in August. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were higher than 10㎍/l at all samples. Total phosphorus concentration was in a range of 0.020∼0.027mg/l which is at the approximate value of 0.03 mg/l, the general critical level of eutrophication. These results indicate that Daechung Reservoir is in an eutrophic state except some temporary times and restricted sites. Phosphorus uptake rate of M. aeruginosa was higher in the water from the epilimnion than in the hypolimnion and also higher under light condition than under dark condition. Therefore, phosphorus uptake rate appears to depend on cellular phosphorous content and light condition, a meaning of endergonic process. Phosphorus was the most frequently limiting nutrient: phosphorus was limiting algal gowth in April and May, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements were the limiting factors for algae in August, and trace elements in September. If a fast growing alga, M, aeruginosa, is used as a test organism for assaying AGP, in vivo fluorescence instead of dry weight can be measured for algal biomass and incubation period can be reduced from traditional 14 days to 7 days.

      • 부산 시내버스 이용 및 만족도에 관한 연구

        이 논문은 설문조사를 통하여 부산시민들의 시내버스 이용 및 만족도를 알아본 것이다. 응 답자는 300명으로 성별 구성은 남자 131명, 여자 169명이었다. 시내버스 이용여부에 대한 질 문에 절반이 약간 넘는 52%가 시내버스를 이용한다고 응답하였다. 반면 48%의 응답자는 시 내버스를 이용하지 않는다고 응답하였다. 왜 시내버스를 이용하지 않는가에 대한 설문에서는 ‘자가용이 편해서’라는 응답이 19.9%로 가장 많았고 그 다음은 ‘목적지까지 시간이 많이 걸려서’로 11.1%였다. 이어 ‘도시철도가 더 편해서’가 9.3%였다. 크게 보아 시내버스를 이용하지 않는 것은 더 편리한 대체교통수단이 있 기 때문이라 할 수 있다. 시내버스를 이용하는 이유에 대해서는 ‘시내버스가 편해서’>‘환승이 편하고 무료환승이라 서’>‘바로가는 노선이 있어서’>‘정류소가 가까이 있어서’ 순이었다. 네 요인 모두에 공통되는 것은 ‘편리함’이라고 할 수 있다. 사람들이 버스를 이용하는 주된 계기는 이용하기 편리할 때 라는 것을 잘 말해주고 있다. 시내버스 서비스 7개 항목에 대한 만족도에서는 ‘버스내부상태’>‘정류소시설’>‘정류소접근 성’>‘친절수준’>‘안전수준’>‘배차간격’>‘요금수준’ 순으로 높은 평가가 있었다. 응답자들은 ‘요 금수준’에 가장 만족도가 낮았고 그 다음은 ‘배차간격’이었다. 그리고 ‘안전운전’에 대해서도 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 한편 ‘전체만족도’를 종속변수로 하고 ‘버스내부상태’, ‘정류소시설’, ‘정류소접근성’, ‘친절수 준’, ‘안전수준’, ‘배차간격’, ‘요금수준’을 독립변수로 하여 다중회귀분석을 한 결과 ‘정류소접근 성’>‘친절’>‘안전운전’>‘버스내부상태’>‘배차간격’>‘정류소시설’>‘요금수준’의 순으로 만족도에 영향을 많이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 환승시스템과 버스중앙전용차로 그리고 복지노선 운영에 대한 설문에서는 대체로 만족하는 사람들의 비율이 높았다. 버스중앙전용차로에 대해 불만족인 이유는 ‘전용노선 때문에 자가용 이용이 불편해서’가 7.68%로 1위, ‘통행시간이 생각보다 줄지않아서’가 2위, ‘정류장이나 노선 경로의 안전상 문제’가 있어서가 4.21%로 3위를 기록하였다. 한편 버스이용승객의 감소에 미 치는 영향에 대한 설문에서는 ‘긴 배차간격’>‘자가용이용증가’>‘도시철도중심 교통정책’>‘신속 성과 정시성 저하’>‘노선체계 불합리’>‘인구감소 및 고령화’>‘요금인상’>‘접근성 불편’>‘환승 체계미비’>‘차량노후와 승하차불편’>‘버스인프라부족’>‘정류장시설부족’ 순으로 중요하다는 응 답이 나왔다.

      • DHA의 미세캡슐화와 산화방지에 관한 연구

        We studied the oxidation of docosahexaenoic acid(DHA: C22: 6ω-3). β-Cyclodextrin(CD) inclusion complexes(ICs) of DHA were prepared with antioxidant such as α-tocopherol and BHT, and microcapsulated with Curdlan and Pullulan. Identification of their structural features of ICs were observed with the use of SEM, FTR, and XRD. Methods for quantitative analysis of DHA were used: TLC scanning method and TBARS(Thiobarbituric acid reactive substance) method. As a result, we observed the formation of ICs and estimated antioxidant effect. In this work, loading efficiency of DHA in ICs was about 25%, and the antioxidant effect of α-tocopherol was higher than that of BHT. When ICs containing DHA was microcapsulated with curdlan and pullulan, the loading efficiency was less than 5%.

      • 남제주군 육상 양식장에서의 소수력 발전시스템의 적용성

        The applicability of a small hydro-power system for water pollution treatment facilities is investigated at the fish farm in Nam Jeju. For this study, the present situations of the fish farm are examined, and the running problem of screen is found out. As a means of solving this, the small hydro-power system which runs with seawater of head tank is considered. In order to apply this system, the field examination is carried out by sampling methods. The flux and the gross head are measured from selected site at the fish farm, and available generating electric power is estimated by these data. From this result, it is turned out that there is a set up possibility of this system at the fish farm.

      • 스쿼시 참가자의 참여동기와 만족도 관한 문화기술적 분석

        This study attempts to investgate the aspects on the motives and the satsfactions of the participants of squash. This study is to analyze by ethnographic research method. The subjects in this study were 6 selected adult who were attending. The Data were collected through interviews during a period from october 2004 to december, 2004. The findings of this study were as below: First, In participating motives, casual squash participants showed participation continuous on account of health physical strength, activity motive, and accomplishment motive. Second, In participating motives, serious squash participants showed participation continuous on account of immersion motive, ostentation motive, activity motive. Third, In life satisfaction, casual squash participants felt satisfaction in physical part, psychological part. Fourth, In life satisfaction, serious squash participants felt satisfaction in physical part, social part.

      • 유압식 인버터 제어기의 속도제어를 위한 퍼지기반 하이브리드 슬라이딩모드 제어기 설계

        19세기 西進東漸의 파도 속에서 국가의 자립과 근대화를 위해 몸소 힘썼던 兪吉潛과 福澤??論의 사상 가운데 그들의 政淪論을 한국과 일본의 근대화 방향 차이를 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. Due to the friction characteristics of pump, cylinder packing and passenger car, in the elevation system actuated with hydraulic inverter, there exist dead zones, which cannot be controlled by a PID controller. To overcome the drawbacks, in this paper, we propose a new hybrid fuzzy-sliding mode control scheme, which controls the controller output between a sliding mode control output and a PID control output by fuzzy control method. The proposed hybrid control scheme achieves an improved control performance by using both controllers: We first propose a design method of the hybrid controller for a hydraulic system controlled by inverters, then propose a design method of a hybrid fuzzy-sliding mode control scheme. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is shown by simulation results, in which the proposed hybrid control method yields better control performance then the PID controlled scheme, not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also in the overall control region including steady-state region.
